I rate the Summerlin store & management at a NEGATIVE 5. Lorraine was the designer I met with in studio. I specifically said I didn't want anything with feathers when she mentioned it was an option. I purchased a sofa, loveseat & rug. There items are not the most budget friendly but I thought Ethan Allen meant quality. After delivery , I began getting poked with something sharp. To my surprise it was feathers that I DID NOT ORDER. I attempted to contact Lorraine the sales lady numerous times. Spoke with her once. She said, "I promise I will call you back." Never did. I had to keep calling them. I requested for them to take the feathered furniture back. Ethan Allen manager Joe refused stating, "It was a special order." It wasn't my special order. Lorraine ordered the wrong pieces. They offered to switch out pillows & cushions. Feathers were poking through. I wanted them to take their items back. They refused even though it was their mistake. I called customer service which just sent my calls right back to the local manager. So this was going no where. I finally was so upset after dealing with all of the incompetence & excuses. We physically had to haul, go to the store & put their property (the wrong sofa love seat with feathers that Lorraine mistakenly ordered) inside the store. I finally got their attention when we showed up. Keep in mind I called the store on a Saturday & Sunday to let them know if this wasn't resolved I was bringing the pieces back. I was not going to pay over $5,000 for items I did not order. They were unwilling to take responsibility & give me what I ordered. Finally after going to the extremes of physically have the furniture directly to their store show room, that Joe the manager finally said I'd receive a full refund. I never received the $300 delivery fee I paid for everything to be delivered. The rug was delivered, which we could have picked up retrospectively looking at things that was $300 wasted. The sofa & loveseat were nice products. I thought the name Ethan Allen meant quality & service. Instead I felt belittled, swindled, & their nice customer service came to a screeching haunt when they made a mistake. Customer service ends as soon as they make the sale. Beware! I don't recommend their products simply because they didn't fulfill their side of the contract to deliver what is ordered. Not only did they lose a customer, they lost their total furniture sale. I will not be shy with my truthful words if someone mentions Ethan Allen. Shame on your customer service. The even more disturbing & disappointing thing is the lack of accountability on Ethan Allen' rep Lorraine & Joe the manager. Incompetence is the new norm apparently. read more

We had a great experience with salesperson Lorraine Hartt, but their delivery company, Top Line Delivery is giving me a fit. I paid $549 for white glove delivery, have already waited 11 weeks for a table, and told they will only be able to deliver it on a day we're out of town. They refused to reschedule. They suggested that if I gave them our garage code or key they could set it up in the garage and take pictures. They told me that the next delivery in Southern Utah (St George) would not be until end of July. I hope Lorraine can straighten it out. Here was Top Line Delivery response Hi Loren, Ooops! Fat fingers and forgot to proof read lol Unfortunately, we are on a very tight schedule for June and will not be able to change that date. Another option for special occasions like this would be to give us a garage code or hide a key so we can make the delivery then lock up. We will then send pictures of the product placement to Ethan Allen. Then send you pictures of the products and a video of the lock up. Though we prefer to have the customer there for delivery, we know we can't please everybody's schedules. But please know we have been delivering Ethan Allen furniture for over 20 years so you know we can be trusted. Purchased an entire home's worth of furniture when I moved to Henderson. Stephen Leon was excellent to work with. However, three of the pieces were floor models, on clearance, as-is. FYI, do not think Ethan Allen will stand behind anything you buy on clearance. I'm a long time EA customer, having bought two homes worth of furniture and never had a problem before so I was not worried about the as-is part at all because their products are such high quality. After I've had it for 1-1/2 yrs the white sofa has been getting more and more discolored. It has been covered with a matching white spread the entire time I've owned it and nothing has been spilled on it nor has any cleaning product been used on it. I called, thinking confidently that at the very least they would send someone out to look at it, but they just referred me to two companies that do cleaning and refurbishing. Both representatives I spoke to said they wanted to help and had shown pictures to their service department but they have never seen anything like it and have no idea what caused this. They cited "corporate policy" for their inability to do anything about this unfortunate issue. And let me tell you, just because it was clearance it was not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. Had custom table delivered with part of the stain missing. It was bare wood. They took it and fixed that, but ended up denting the table while moving it in multiple places. They had a new custom table made for me and gave me I think a 10% discount as a refund. We were waiting on the table at least ten months because the first had to be replaced. The second table has some finish irregularity on the top. There's an area with more shine. It sits by a window so it's visible every day. I thought they gave me the same table but with additional damage on it to make it look aged. It wasn't supposed to have any aging on it, but it does. They assured me it was a different table. On the bright side I'm not worried about this table getting damaged from use. As it feels and looks like a used table. read more

Recently bought five barstools at this store. Not just any barstools... The very best barstools we could find in a 6 month long search to furnish our new home. Went into the store with our 3 year-old mask-wearing granddaughter... Probably not the best way to shop for anything, but it worked out beautifully. My goodness... Ethan Allen has beautiful furniture... well worth what they charge, too. Here's why... First, we received assisstance from "Stephen", who is a design consultant there. We can't say enough nice things about this gentleman. So much knowledge, so much patience, friendliness, humor, common sense and a phenomenal customer service aptitude. Stephen is a consummate professional. We wonder if Ethan Allen realizes how fortunate it is to have this gentleman carrying their flag. They must know how good he is at what he does. We went to so many furniture stores before buying at Ethan Allen and the difference between the service from Steven and all of the other stores we visited is that Steven listened carefully and then brought his considerable taste and experience immediately to help us. We would have paid thousands of dollars more for the same advice if we had hired an interior designer. We've gone that route before... So... we saved $$ and got the best furniture we could find... After purchasing a house in April, 2015, my partner and I went into the local Ethan Allen to see what might interest us for the new place. While there we saw many things that were great, but what hit us was a round light fixture in the front of the store. We were quickly helped by an amazing in store sales person named Cynthia. She was incredibly helpful, a real pleasure to work with. We ordered the light fixture and paid in full. This was on 5/1 While in the store, she peaked our interest in several other items, and even gave us some design advice that we thought was so smart, and actually applied to our new home renovation. She was just fantastic. Let me say, if my entire Ethan Allen experience had been as enjoyable as shopping with Cynthia, this would be a very different review. 10 weeks later - Close to a QUARTER of a year we still did not have the light fixture. I find this a bit shocking unto itself, especially in the age of Amazon, One Kings Lane, etc, and things arriving in 2-4 days. But I try to understand. Circumstances happen, items sell out. I get it. True that I had a custom made King Size bed made in a 1/3 of the time with another company, but that is another story. We tried to be patient, and wait, and wait, and wait. Honestly, the real issue was how the 10 weeks were handled, that is where the true challenge with Ethan Allen has been. In those 10 weeks we did not received a single phone call, we did not received a single update, we did not receive a single Ethan Allen initiated communication that was not a response to us asking about the light ourselves! NOT A SINGLE ONE! Postponements, delays, back orders and not a single form of communication from the company! Do you find that as shocking as I do? We would call to find out an update, they would never give us a straight answer. No one could let us know more than a vague time period of possible arrival. (But not guaranteed) FINALLY on one of our check in calls we were told it had arrived in the warehouse the first week of July and that we should expect a call to arrange delivery the beginning of the next week. The next week came and went. - NO PHONE CALL. After waiting for 10 weeks, is this not a priority?? Apparently not. I was informed 3 months is the standard arrival time for orders from Ethan Allen. Really? This is not a custom item people. In frustration, I called Cynthia to beg for help. Which she did with the utmost of charm. She gave me the direct number for the warehouse to arrange the delivery myself. I called the warehouse and got Matt on the phone who at first told me the earliest they could deliver was a full week later. I lost it! After this entire ordeal, the fact they Ethan Allen is not scrambling to expedite this order was flabbergasting! And I told him so. He understood, and very politely told me he would see what he could do. A couple hours later I received a call that my lighting fixture would be delivered the very next day. In actuality, it was 2 days but still arrived. The truth is we love the light fixture. It is great. And maybe even worth a standard 3 month wait to be ordered. But come on Ethan Allen, get with the 21st century and get automated! Do not leave people in the dark, having no idea WTF is going for 3 months. The world does not work like that any more. read more

In 2007, my new wife and I were trying to migrate from our "bachelor/bachelorette" furniture into our grown up house. It started with shopping for a new TV stand for our big screen TV. After looking at all the local big-box furniture stores, we weren't satisfied with the quality of furniture. On a lark we went to our local Ethan Allen store (at the time, they were on Rainbow.) At that time, we were introduced to a staff interior designer, Teri Weyer. She came out to our house, took measurements of our rooms, asked us plenty of questions to understand our taste and took into account the pieces that we were intending to keep. In addition, she helped design both my wife's and my offices as well as our master bedroom. Teri and her team at the Las Vegas Design Center have been a delight to work with. She is professional and has been great to work with. She's also honest and will tell you what will work and what won't work. Now, you may think that "Ethan Allen is out of my price range." But, Teri and the team worked within our budget and put together various phasing plans so that we could accomplish our goals. Fast forward ten years. We are still enjoying our Ethan Allen pieces. We have been waiting for a custom bed to be delivered since it was ordered back in November 2020. The expected delivery date has been pushed 3 times with no real date for actual delivery. The product has been paid for and we've been waiting 6 months. We've requested a refund which they have declined. We were also told there is a restocking fee which makes zero sense as there is nothing to restock since you don't have a product for us anyway. Corporate must have a better resolution for this major customer service faux pas. If a customer has been patient about their purchase, but there is no solid confirmation about a delivery, a refund should be granted without issue. Telling your customer that you understand but that it's company policy, is unacceptable. Under normal circumstances, maintaining your refund policy is understandable but it's been 6 months and you're telling us it could be another 2 months which makes it a total of 8 months wait time and based on the transaction history, it's likely to be pushed again. Do better Ethan Allen. This is not ok. You have our money but we don't have our product and you're not offering a reasonable solution. We should be refunded immediately so we can explore alternative options for the unfulfilled order. DO NOT ORDER ANY CUSTOM PRODUCTS unless you like giving away your money for an indefinite period of time with the hopes of some day receiving a product that doesn't actually exist. read more

Stephen Leon is perfection - and thus our beautiful home in Lake Las Vegas had the benefit of his fabulous style, elegant persona and stunning design. We left our 9,000 square foot home in Illinois and started fresh with a smaller but quaint 2800 sq ft. ranch in South Shore LLV. Because we had to purchase all new furniture, rugs, and those little divine implements - I knew Ethan Allen would be my traditional home go to. But, the added benefit was the whimsical but fresh attitude of Stephen. His grace is adoring and his passion for design shows through when implementing the design process. It was important for our home to be cozy, elegant and warm - but, somewhere you could put your feet up and also relax. The showroom was absolutely beautiful!! Great pieces!! I'm a fan of showrooms that have actual rooms set up and they do!! The prices were very reasonable. So why only 3 stars? I walked in with my 3 kids and the sales woman was slouched down in a chair near the front counter speaking with the woman behind it. I was never greeted just told "if you need something let me know". She stayed in the chair the entire time I was there. I'm not about pushy sales people so I was rather glad that she didn't follow me around the store BUT it looked extremely unprofessional that she was slouched down in a chair and never even bothered to stand up. My wife and I went to Ethan Allen because she wants to be able to customize everything, and I want the highest quality furniture possible so that it will last for generations. We were greeted promptly and introduced to a designer who evaluated our needs and budget. After speaking with us at length to ascertain our style, she made a "home visit" to our house to take measurements and look at the existing furniture that we wanted to keep, so that the new pieces would be complementary. We then met with the designer back at the store where she presented us with her plan for our new furniture. It was great! My tips for anyone looking for high quality furniture here are as follows: 1- This stuff is not cheap, but nothing worth buying usually is, right? This is the furniture you can pass down through generations. Almost everyone I know has an Ethan Allen piece they got from their parents. 2- Quality takes time, and custom takes time. In our lives right now, we can get any product in two days or less from Amazon. But those are all mass produced products. Truly unique things, like art, are not mass produced and available for immediate consumption. Be prepared for your big custom upholstered pieces to take 8-12 weeks to be delivered. 3-Home improvement shows on HGTV and the like make everyone think that they can be an interior decorator and a general contractor, but you'll be surprised when you work with an associate at Ethan Allen at how much you didn't learn from TV. After three attempts I finally got someone to contact me. A man from Arizona came to my home only to tell me that "unfortunately on flat surface pieces, there's nothing that can be done". He told me what I thought were scratches were "rub" marks -and he would have to resurface my table every month! Oh, and also mentioned that the smell from the chemical they use is horrendous and toxic...and I was left in my home, with a "too bad so sad" kind of goodbye. I had to furnish my new home that was built and they are the last delivery to come, blaming the Pandemic, even though every other retailer delivered on time with the exception of one. And that other company offered a significant discount for being late. Not Ethan Allen. Not only did they make me wait 5 months to deliver my bed, they also rushed me into signing the contract by claiming the sale ended in an hour. Do yourself a favor and READ YOUR CONTRACT. It literally says you are stuck with the merchandise whether you like it or not. In other words, if the furniture comes back damaged, they will decide whether to repair it or replace it lol. You don't even have the right to refuse delivery. STAY AWAY. I don't care how big their brand is. This was my top 3 worst experiences when furnishing my house. I like to furnish my home with quality furniture that I know will last. This is why I choose Ethan Allen, American made with quality materials, using real wood. I had been eyeing a media cabinet, but couldn't decide between a larger multi cabinet version or a newer smaller single cabinet. Stephen Leon who works as a designer there, was so helpful, he even came to my home for an in-house consultation. He took measurements and came to the conclusion that the single unit would fit much better in my living room and not overwhelm the area. From past experience, I have learned that I tend to go too big in my purchases and then often regret my decision once I have it in my home. This is why it was so important to have the services offered by Stephen, at no extra charge, to have his designer eye and knowledge guide me to make the correct decision.
