Not Ashley store, my problem was with their delivery contractors. Not a good experience. I opened the door and the man was nice greeting me and explained who he was, and I looked up over his head and saw his associate in the truck push my boxed recliner chair I just paid over $800!! for from the floor of the truck, to the street with a LOUD bang. They don't care about your furniture, but he didn't unbox it as it was lightly drizzling. They tried to force the big box through the front door, which wouldn't fit OBVIOUSLY too wide, just by looking at it. Minor permanent chafing in the paint on my front door molding. No respect for your property, or your new furniture. Then they took the back out of the box and put it on the recliner and they were gone. Store experience was fine, just shop elsewhere, or buy their optional coverage. My delivery could've been handled by one guy. Don't know why they have two on the truck, except for bigger heavier items. Warning! If there is anything wrong at all don't accept delivery. You are stuck with it. They will not come back. I have heard this from many other people. No receipt given, -a first-. IPhone screen signature and they're out the door. I am so glad I bought a US made chair with a steel frame. The service started out great, bought a couch and chair set with some cooling bed pillows before thanksgiving. Was able to pick up the couch and chair next day at the warehouse with ease. Did the payment plan since the holidays are always rough on the finances (life these days... yay). Its been almost 2 months and I have yet to get anything else from them, each time they call me and say they have the pillows or I call them and show up they never have any in stock. Their "inventory is their show floor" so unless you want USED DISPLAYS do not order from them! They refuse to tell me if other locations would have them for me to pick up or if they can ship them off. I have yet to receive any sort of call or contact from the person we bought from or the manager there who helped us and each time we go in we're passed off to another random person for some bullshit answers. And then they have the AUDACITY to tell you not to walk in and out of the same door so their conversion and customer foot count isn't thrown off. Wow this place is horrible. Initially made the sale of a bed and after payment they set up delivery for 3 week later. That was somewhat remedied with some compensation but when the bad came it was just the head board and footboard and no rails, rails we were told were the original reason for the 3 week delivery delay. Another two weeks we get rails, they were manufactured wrong and did not work, reordered rails to discover the foot board is wrong not the rails. Another two weeks two weeks delivery comes with rails not footboard as requested, 2 more weeks again show up with rails and not footboard. Finally was able to get a new footboard but 2 months of miscommunication within their company and no response or consideration to the customer at all. Never going there again. read more

We bought a piece of furniture here after our 5 year warranty expired from a different purchase. The store assured us that we would get a refund withing 7-10 business days. They also charged us full price for the piece of furniture instead of being able to utilize the holiday sale going on at the time. This was in August and it is now November, , my husband and I have called costumer service at least 10 times and they stated we would have someone contact us in 48 hours and no one ever has. I just got home from The Ashley warehouse in New Braunfels. I waited for 3.5 hours to even get to the loading dock and once I got there I was greeted with a hand in my face saying wait your turn, as if they had helped anyone at all. The man loading people up at a speed so slow I couldn't comprehend it, whined and complained about having to help load the bed frame after I could've watched the titanic in it's entirety during my wait. The wait was horrible, the customer service was even worse. This entire warehouse shouldn't be allowed to operate. At the very least treat your customers with respect after they spent hundreds or in my case, thousands of dollars and sacrificed their entire evening to wait on you. I will be telling everyone that will listen for the forseeable future what an absolute failure of a business this is, completely worthless management and complete ignorance in customer service. Absolutely worst furniture ever purchased. I have purchased two (2) powerlift recliners from the New Braunfels, TX store in the past year. The first one I purchased the leg lift motor hinge piece on the motor snapped at the threads of the pipe on the motor. I called Ashley's Warranty line on 01 NOV 24, AND used their automated system online which didn't matter, because their system didn't recognize the Serial # from the chair, even though I posted pictures of the Model # AND the Serial # to the automated website. I finally go through to a human and sent the pictures directly to them explaining IN DETAIL what had happened. What did Ashley do? They sent me a mechanism part (basically the lower frame of the chair) with no motors. What the hell was I supposed to do with this thing? I called them and let them know that I had received parts and to send the 3rd party technician to my home to fix it. When the tech got to my home in early DECEMBER, he looked at the chair, looked at the motor and looked at the part that had broken. Then he asked me why did they (Ashley) send me a mechanism instead of the motor. I said I didn't have a clue and that I called them and attempted to explain it to someone in their parts department, but was continuously hung up on. So the technician called Ashley himself and spoke to someone (didn't catch the name) and told them what was needed in order to repair the chair and then told me that he couldn't take the mechanism with him because he didn't have room in his car to transport it. Like this is my fault. REALLY? So, now it's late JANUARY 2025 and I get two boxes from Ashley parts. I received a text from Ashley regarding the parts and stated I had received parts, but didn't open them and the same technician was sent back out. When the technician arrived, he opened the two boxes which contained two (2) motors in each one, plus control wands, but the electrical connections did not match the connectors on the chair. These connectors on the new motors had the fittings which match the connector for an IBM style keyboard (Round with 5 pins), whereas the connection on the chair was a flat blade with a small pin. The technician and I spent over an hour on the phone with someone who claimed his name was Robert W., which is all he would tell me, who stated he was a supervisor and had been employed with Ashley Furniture for 12 years, but he couldn't process my claim because he was just covering for the parts department because they were in a meeting. What a crock! Finally, he said he was transferring me to Customer Service and I ended up speaking to some lady in parts (again) and I had to re-hash all of this story all over again, which needless to say, I was boiling by this point. I explained everything that the technician had relayed to "Robert" and the fact that Ashley furniture is probably the WORST furniture business I have ever dealt with. They sell CHEAP product for high dollar. Their customer service absolutely sucks! Their parts department couldn't even tell me if their manuals showed an exploded view of their product so you could get the right part number for the model that you are calling about. So all in all, I spent almost 3 hours on the phone with Ashley's parts department and I told them that if they were sending parts to me, I wanted them overnighted, because I wasn't going to wait another two months to get parts and that the onus was on Ashley NOT me before I finally ended the call. Sometime Wednesday, 01/29/25, I finally got a voicemail from "Maddie" from the parts department, stating that the motor for my chair had been ordered and was being sent via FEDEX and to contact them when it arrived. Well today, Friday, 31 JAN, the motor with the RIGHT connector FINALLY arrived to my house and took me all of 3 minutes to install since the technician had taken out the old motor. Two minutes!!!!! It took Ashley almost 3 months to figure out the correct part to send, even though I had provided photos of the Model # & the Serial # (which they said they couldn't find in their system)? This company is by far the worst business I have ever dealt with with regards to furniture. Save your money and aggravation and go elsewhere. You pay WAY TOO MUCH for substandard products. Find a place that gives you quality and won't string you along. I was very close to contacting my attorney, but I've just decided to NEVER EVER buy from Ashley ever again. No one seems to care about making this right and no one takes ownership of their faults. I order a sectional online. The arm of the chase was lumpy, the material was loose, and the pleats on the arms were baggy instead of fitted on the arm. In addition, there was a small tear on the back corner and the back seat cushion was not completely filled. A tech was sent to examine the defects, and attempted to fix the arm issue, but the repair was unsuccessful. I spoke with the service dept and was told the chase would be replaced. However, a representative sent me a text stating I would be sent parts so that the tech could attempt to repair the chase again. I replied, "I ordered a new chased not one that was defective and needed to be repaired." Ashley has terrible customer service, and the tech said that they have awful furniture that is cheaply made. This review is for the Ashley Furniture location in New Braunfels. I've been waiting for over 5 weeks and my order still has not been fulfilled. Twice now my order was supposed to be completed only to be told by the movers that all of my furniture was not delivered, even though the sales team and management assured me my furniture would be delivered on time. I placed my order on July 4th weekend 2024. As of 8/6/24 my order still has not been fulfilled. I HIGHLY recommend you purchase your furniture with another furniture company that stands behind their word and promises. Recently purchased bedroom and living room set. Ironically the bedrooms we bought from Ashley was not much different than what we had purchased from Aaron's less than a year ago. My biggest disappointment is that the set from Aaron's is much better quality than Ashley. Didn't realize at all until we put it together. The fabric is pulling apart on the head board. There is much more breaks and cracks in the wood. Ashley's furniture is more little pieces of wood put together to make something rather than a large piece like Aaron's. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!! We were told by the manager as well as on old manager turned 'bed expert' Kirt Allen that we would get our furniture as early as July 8th. I went through and ONLY ordered furniture I was told was in STOCK AND IN WAREHOUSE. We spent 10k!!!! We ordered 3 twin mattresses as well as a king tempurpedic bed that we were promised by Kirt would be a 2 day delivery. This was Friday. Monday came we never got a call for delivery on the mattress like we were told. Wednesday came and we get a call saying our delivery was scheduled for Friday between 1-4pm but was not told what was being delivered. I called Ashely's and was told there was no delivery scheduled. Also that our twin bunk bed was not available until after the 12th and we would not be getting ANY of our furniture until after the 12th including the mattress we were promised 2day delivery on. I was also told that two end tables we ordered were in fact NOT in stock and not available until OCTOBER. I got off the phone and tried to call the store with the number listed. IT IS NOT THE STORE NUMBER. It's not even customer service. The phone number listed for the store is to their manufacturer warehouse. So I was forced to drive the 28mins to this store in order to speak to someone. I spoke to the manager Han whom was one of the two employees whom told me my order would be delivered on July 8th. I told him to just cancel my entire order. He proposed that he could give me 10% back on my order if I kept the order with them and would also take the one item that was holding up my entire order and place it on its own ticket which was what Kurt should have done to begin with in order to get us our order by the 8th. Being he was an old manager this is something he should have known to do. He also never put our mattress on a separate so we could not get the guaranteed two day delivery. Being he's the 'mattress expert' you'd think again, this is something he would have known how to do. So the only solution to getting our mattress right away was for us to drive to the warehouse ourselves and pick it up as it was there just waiting. I canceled the end tables and asked for an additional 15% discount/refund. We drove to the warehouse and just grabbed what furniture they had on our order which was 'all of it except the twin bunk bed' We get home only to find out that NO it was not all of it... we were missing the headboard to one of our beds AND THE KING BEDFRAME WE ORDERED WITH KURT WAS NOT ON OUR ORDER AT ALL!!! We were also given pieces to the twin bunks that we were not supposed to receive and was supposed to be delivered on the 12th. Frustrated I left it alone. We paid for delivery on all of our furniture so I just left it for the rest of the pieces to be delivered on the new date we were given which was the 7th. That brings me to today the 6th. We have not received any calls regarding delivery. I called Ashely's and was told our entire order was placed on PICK UP and that they have no record of our DELIVERY FEE PAYMENT FOR DELIVERY!!! I have not one but TWO receipts showing TWO different delivery payments!! I was then told that this is an issue they could not fix or figure out over the phone and I then needed to once more go into the store to figure this out with the manager. I asked for a supervisor and was told if I wanted to speak to one I needed to wait on hold for 25mins when I said I already waited 30mins to talk to someone she said I need to wait to 25mins that she could not transfer my call to anyone else who can help and I can drive to the store myself, wait 25mins or wait 2/3 HOURS for a call back!! When I asked why 2/3 hours if she just told me it was 25min hold she said it was because waiting on hold and a call back are two different things and those were my only two options at this point if I wanted help to figure this out. I hung up and called the warehouse to ask if my bed pieces were even in stocked and was told NO!!! This was after the lady on the phone told me everything was there and available for pick up!!! WTF?!?!? So now I'm on hold again with customer service now for 25mins .... I'm beyond livid. I do NOT want to have to drive back to the store with my four kids 28mins away in order to figure this out but it seems that's my only option. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE. We purchased an electric recliner from this store. The chair is less than a year old and still covered under the manufacturer warranty. We contacted Ashley HomeStore, the warranty number, the corporate office number and have received the run around from the get-go. We spoke to them end of March- early in April, and they told us they would send us a technician to look at the chair on a date some time in May. TWO MONTHS AFTER THE PHONE CALL AND ROGHT AFTER THE FACTORY WARRANTY IS SET TO EXPIRE. Today, we called and they told us they tried to call to schedule the repair for a date closer. Impossible, since we have not received ANY phone calls that went unanswered (we were anticipating and demanded a phone call). Chris talked us through the promotion they were offering and general guidance for the item as well as delivery expectations. He even called in help when my child started getting fussy so we could expedite the process. Looking forward to receiving my sectional. Update: Two statements of sales rep did not materialize: free delivery and accent pillows. After a conversation, the delivery charge was dropped. ashley fucking furniture store in new braunfels, texas is the worst transaction in my life i bought a recliner and it is too small to set in .i can't set in it because it is too small tried to exchange it and pay the difference in price and of course. cash ....hahaha butthe hot shot manager and sales pimp would not make the exchange ,,,,,if you ever buy anything from them ,,,,,just be careful. ey act like used car salesmen,,, its not a pleasure to have any business with a bunch of non pros. 0stars read more

I thought it was odd that they asked the party next to us to write a review on Yelp or google right there in the store. I closed my eyes and prayed they didn't ask us to do the same. I felt as if we weren't taken very seriously but that's ok. I didn't expect to be wowed, after all this is the outlet store, or at least it is advertised as that in other places online. We stopped by even though my spouse wasn't really feeling it but I wanted to get him a night stand. I have one, he doesn't. nothing in their store really matched what I had (purchased from Jerome's in SD during the short 2 yrs we lived there) But what they did have was big, heavy bulky nightstands going for $400-$500 each. LOL. nope. for something that won't even match. Bought one from clearance section. less than $100. perfect since we will probably just either sell it on swap & sell or put it curbside when we move. They all seemed to deflect who was going to have to put it in the car .. no worries my husband told them he could do it. they refused, no someone will help you.. yes bc we know that someone wasn't going to be her, LOL. yes - no reviews requested from us but rest assured this Yelp lover will post one. We pulled the car around and someone met us near the door (but they never opened it or came outside but waited for my husband to come and pick it up to lug it the rest of the way. Glad we didn't buy a sofa! If I did go bk to Ashley's I'd probably go to the Pflugerville location where I bought my kitchen table. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Ashley has some very nice furniture. But we have had huge headaches actually receiving our furniture. For example, we placed a large order 2 months ago. We were given a solid delivery date. When the date came and went, I called to find out they had pushed it by a week. That date came and went. They pushed it another 2 weeks. The delivery guys showed up 8 hours late with only 1 piece out of 4. I called to be told "Oh yea, someone has been messing with your order...". I was given a new date. That date came and went. I called to find out that there was a new "estimated date of arrival at the warehouse". I cancelled the order. What a complete waste of time. I will pay more to actually receive my furniture. read more

Honestly my experience from start to finish and now a year later I would never buy again from them. My furniture is already tearing and is not "covered" to get replaced or fixed. It's been a horrible journey with them. read more
