Bought a sofa on November 2017 and paid extra money for extended 5 years protection plan and I was told that they will cover everything no matter how small it is, I called the insurance on April 17th to file a claim over armrest and cushions, I can feel the nails in the armrest and also there is tear in the side of the sofa due moving. They sent someone to inspect and on May 11 I got an email about an update on the claim status, I called them and was told that they won't be able to fix them since they are not covered!! read more

This is the worst furniture experience I've ever had. I purchased two beds from this store, one was already delivered twice and both times was broken. Second bed was delivered in incorrect size and it has been nothing but a nightmare dealing with the store regarding an exchange. A lot of their items are nonrefundable, which would be completely fine if they provided that information upfront (but of course they don't). DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY. I purchased a Baceno sectional in March of this year. Last month I noticed stitches in fabric coming apart and surface is mottled. They claim it is normal wear and tear. How on earth is this normal wear and tear on a 6 month old couch (I have been dealing with this for several weeks now). Ashley sent out a technician to confirm. Technician said he has never seen this happen in a sofa, especially after only 6 months of use and said it was defective. ASHLEY will not replace, nor will they let me escalate - Quality department will not get back to me after several attempts. AS I sit on hold (for unreasonable hold times) all I hear on their on hold messages is their dedication to quality and customer service. They have missed the boat on both accounts. So disappointed. Do not purchase from Ashley furniture Northridge CA store. I believe all these stores are horrible. I bought a bed on August 4 and they set my delivery date for August 12 between 1pm-5pm. I waited 8 days for the delivery to fail. They never delivered my bed stating someone forgot to add it to the route. Ashley then told me they would reschedule me for be next day August 13 between 1pm-5pm and no bed was delivered. The company then told me they would deliver my bed Aug 14 between 1pm-5pm and they never did. I received a call at 7pm from a delivery company unapologetically telling me they would be there in 30mins then they changed it to "within 30 mins to an hour". I said no! Keep the furniture. After ruining my three day weekend and wasting my time I requested a refund from Ashley furniture. The call center people are rude. The manager at Ashley Furniture is rude! One of the sales guys Who looked to be Afro Spanish was on the verge of sexual harassment. He flirted with me inappropriately and touched me on my back! You know that is in appropriate! The sales guy who assisted me Shady or whatever his name is had a smart mouth and appeared to be annoyed. I just called more than four times today August 16, 2016 and they refused to answer the phone probably because I called so much about my furniture not being delivered they can See my number when I call. Someone picked up the phone twice and didn't say anything. Yet, when I blocked my number they answered right away. The woman who picked up the phone was some lady name Andrea and she gave me attitude. The only person who was nice to me at this store and showed empathy was "Trina". Trina is great. Her manager on the other hand showed no concern for my frustrations and accused me of just needing to yell at someone. What an Butthole. This store is the worst! Go elsewhere for your furniture. We bought a couch today at the Northridge store, and had a great experience! The staff was very friendly, and the lay out was nice. Right away we were greeted by Savanna Z. She pointed us in the right direction of the kind of couch we were looking for. She patiently answered all of our questions, and gave us enough time and space, to discover stuff on our own. We found the quality, and prices, to be much better than another store that we had looked at. The check out was quick, and painless. We loved that they had a lot of finance options, even though we didn't need any of them, this time around. Our new couch is scheduled to be delivered next week. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends. Also, on another side note, we were in the store so long, looking at stuff, that we were glad that they had a nice and clean bathroom that we could use. The Ashley Home Store in Northridge is a great place to buy furniture. Their very helpful and willing to work with you. In the past our family has purchased a couch, love seat, bed frame, mattress and bedroom set. Today my husband and I went to look for a dining room set. We were greeted by Andres with a firm handshake and a welcoming smile. He asked us if we were looking for anything in particular so he could point us in the right direction. He then left us alone so we could explore and told us to grab him if we had any questions. Once we found what we wanted Andres was very helpful in assisting us with getting the best deal. I walked into the store to buy a new living room set on August 29. I was told production had just started in the warehouses but was assured I would receive my sofa by October. Delivery date was scheduled for Sept 29th. Sept 26th I get a call to inform me one of my sofas is back ordered and would receive a call again in a couple of days for a new delivery date. Sept 29 I received one of my sofa but still no call to reschedule my other one. The delivery person gave us the phone number to contact them for scheduling. I ended up calling since no one ended up calling me back. It was scheduled for Oct 13. Today I called to confirm my appointment as was told I was not scheduled till November 3rd!!!!! Apparently the person I spoke to gave me the wrong date. I was asked when I called and at what time and who I spoke to. They wanted proof! Why would I lie and would that even make a difference.? They told me once again my sofa is back ordered till the end of October. I told the rep I was assured I would receive my sofa in Sept and asked about a partial refund or credit. I was told I needed to check with the home store. I asked for a manager he said there was no one available. I asked for the voicemail he said they didn't have one but would write my message down. I called the Northridge home store and was on a long hold. Eventually someone came on but hung up my call. I am so upset. I've been a customer now for over 5 years!!! I will never shop here again. Went in there last night expecting to buy a mattress, barstools and a dresser, could have easily been a $6000 sale for the right salesman. Unfortunately, the wrong employee decided to waste our time and we purchased a mattress elsewhere. We still needed our dresser and barstools though so we went back in tonight. Thankfully Ryan greeted us and somehow remembered seeing us in the showroom last night. He immediately answered our questions and was eager to help us get exactly what we wanted. The worst experience ever. After waiting a month and a half for my couch delivery it turned out to be too big for my living room space. I asked them to take back the wedge and was told they could not, I would have to schedule for pickup another day. Two months later and 4 pickups scheduled I'm stuck paying for furniture I'm not using. The excuses are not being able to get in my building and the drivers for some reason calling the wrong number. So basically they had my number for delivery but not for pickup. I gave them my number again and rescheduled several times and same excuses with no explanation as to why this is happening. Not to mention the customer service rep I spoke to last acted as if she was doing me a favor and rushed off the phone. If you're looking for incredibly overpriced furniture and terrible customer service then Ashley is your store. If not, based on my experience I would recommend you stay far away from Ashley furniture. read more

My worst experience in my life about customer service . I spend almost 3000 in this stor.... but when they delivered our stuff they had some issue... The fabric was torn under the sofa and Dining table was lagging, end table too... so I called them ride away to make appointment for technician . I told him before confirming with technician please let me know because I have to go to work and I said OK but I got the message two days ago with confirmation appointment in afternoon between 1 o'clock till 4 o'clock so I called them and I said I have to go to work so it's really bad time for me please change it because they had to reschedule appointment option but the lady she said they going to call you tomorrow so you have to confirm with them tomorrow so yesterday they called me again and I choose the reschedule option but the guy he said he's not able to change appointment, I asked him many times because it was really bad time and so hot for me leave my job but they did nothing and And it was like I paid again 200$ , so today I called them and ask them can you check for me where is your technician and when he going to be here... The customer service said we are not able to let you know when and I asked them for technician number and they said they don't have technician number... is it possible??!!!! It's unfortunate that I had to change this review. However, you lose all stars in my book when you treat previous customer service different from the day when you first made the sale. I walked in here thinking I would've been welcomed lien day one. However, if like I was just an old sale in books. Know I know if you're coming in for anything other spending (customer service, returns, exchanges etc.,), then your solution is right out the exit door because you're not welcome back. My problem was when I bought my mattress I was very pleased. However, after getting used to it for a week I felt lower back pain. When I went it for the exchange, I was told I had to pay a $250 restock fee. Not only that, I had bought my mattress on sale, and I went to exchange for mattress of equal value; but the sale did not apply. I had to pay the difference for the mattress on top of the $250! This was absolutely unfortunate and this complaint when through all management in that store and nothing happened. read more
