Went the other day and bought a sofa, was told it was going to be delivered on Wednesday. Received a call Wednesday saying that their was a hold on the account. So, I call the customer support number and the lady tells me that I need to go sign a form and that there Is a hold on the account. I tell her that we signed all the forms which form needs to be signed she told me that she didn't know and that I would have to go to the store and find out. I asked, can you call them and find out? She comes back on the phone and restates that I would have to go back to the store. I ask, did you find out what form I need to sign? She said no, that isn't my job and I need to go to the store and find out. I hung up on her called the store asked why my sofa wasn't being delivered and what form I need to sign? A nice man answered told me that he just got off the phone with the lady I was speaking with. I told him she didn't tell me anything and didn't resolve my issue can you tell me what's going on please? He said that we messed up the numbers on your contract and that you have to sign a new one. If I could give zero stars I would. Going through a nightmare with trying to get a non-broken $700 media console into our house! The first one they delivered was cracked all along the bottom and separated at the seams. The shelves wouldn't even sit level in the console. When pointing out the scratches on the side of the unit the delivery guy used a pencil to "color it in" yeah... Like that fixed it. Sat on hold forever and had to talk to some lady that was EATING THE ENTIRE TIME SHE TALKED TO ME!!! really??? had to email them pictures of the damaged furniture. Called a couple days later to see when our new piece was going to arrive and nothing had been done!! Surprise surprise!! Maybe Cheetos got stuck in her keyboard or something!? Finally got our "new" piece today and the ENTIRE area around one of the legs was broken!! If the furniture was set down that leg would have punctured up into the console!! This isn't worth $700 if this is so easily broken. Now I have to wait a week before they will even Return my cash to me and get the eyesore of a console out of my house!! Walked in around 5 PM last night knowing exactly what I wanted. There were 5-6 employees talking and laughing at the desk I walked right by. I was not acknowledged or greeted. I went to the recliner section and tried out several recliners for about 15 minutes. Talked to a customer for 5 minutes who had not been approached by an employee. After the 15 minutes of waiting for someone to answer questions, approach, acknowledge, I walked by the same employees who were still talking and laughing at the front desk. BEWARE! Terrible Service! I'm an easy to please guy but insist on fair treatment. I bought 2 couches and received them 2 weeks later. One had a stitching blemish on the seat cushion and all the cushions were as hard as the office chair I'm sitting in now. I went back to the showroom to make sure I hadn't made a mistake, but the display cushions were indeed soft. The salesman said I'll have to call Customer Care. So the nightmare begins. Everything about Ashley Customer Care was set up to put the customer off indefinitely. Phone calls were placed on hold for 10 minutes at a time for each question. Customer Reps couldn't answer anything without talking to someone else and of course putting you on hold for 10 minutes each time. They said I would receive a replacement cushion cover and then a repair tech would be sent out to see about all the cushions. After a month of waiting and not receiving the replacement, I demanded they remove the furniture and provide a refund, (luckily I left the tags on and covered the couches with plastic. This wasn't my first rodeo). The reply was that since I had the furniture a month they wouldn't be able to refund. Since the return delay was through no fault of mine, (I notified them the day of delivery and the contract allowed 14 days), I promised small claims court if I hung up without an agreement. Only then did they agree. Then I had to insist on documentation for the agreement. I had been on the phone now for an hour and a half. I since found and highly recommend R & R Furniture. Not a fancy showroom but family owned, great prices, and all about service. If they don't have it they will order it. read more

We are seeking legal action at this time... but here is my experience. This has been the worst furniture buying experience. My husband and I purchased a sectional couch on July 30th. It is 2 months later and we yet to have the entire couch. When we purchased the couch, we asked that all pieces be delivered at the same time and we understood some were on back order but we would wait until everything was in. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. After calling several times to confirm all pieces were going to be delivered on 9/8 and everyone confirmed it would be, the delivery company showed up at 9:15pm on 9/8 and only had 3 of the 6 pieces of the couch. 1 of those pieces did not have the legs. They said the legs would come out the next day. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN! After speaking with both Erica and Lorenzo (so-called managers in delivery) we agreed everything else would be delivered on 9/20. That day came and went and no delivery and was told the next day that it would be delivered until Monday 9/26. On 9/24 we received a call saying they wouldn't be able to deliver that day (Not even a day we were scheduled for delivery) because the item was damaged. No manager was available to talk to at that time. At 7:00 pm that evening we get a recorded call saying a truck will be there in 30 minutes. I immediately call the 877 number to figure out what exactly was going to be delivered since the call 10 hours earlier said it was damaged. Well supposedly only one piece was damaged. I got on the phone with Erica again and she said she was personally going to make sure both and final pieces were going to be delivered on Tuesday 9/27/16. I took off work one more time and delivary showed up WITH JUST THE LEGS!!!!!! So manager Erica once again didn't do what she said she was going to do. I was done dealing with the delivery service company and thought I could make more headway calling the store we purchased it from. Mindy in customer relations was rude and very unhelpful. She kept saying there was nothing she could do but would attempt to get us the rest of the couch out to us today 9/28. She said I would be receiving a confirmation text and email with a delivery time. Never received one, so i called at 9am on 9/28 to see what was going on. I was told it would be on a truck today and delivery was between 2pm and 10pm. I was nice and said thank you, thinking that I would finally have the rest of my couch today. 30 minutes later I get a call saying the pieces were damaged and the soonest I could have it was 10/3. Erica in delivery is no longer taking my calls and the customer service reps and being very rude and disrespectful. Do you want to know what we have received??? A bill!!! For a couch we don't even have!!!!!!!! This company has the worst customer service. Not one person has offered to do anything above and beyond for all the run around we have gotten. I wish there was a way to do this in 2 parts. We had such an amazing experience with our sales person, Steve. He didn't pressure us, was patient with us and very knowledgeable and helpful. Then when it came time to deliver our furniture everything fell apart. My husband waiting around for 7 hours on a Friday and was late heading out of town for a family vacation only to discover the "truck" had completely gone missing. Our furniture then somehow got "checked in" and they had to start our order completely over, pushing us to the back of the line and causing us to wait another 2 weeks to get all of our items delivered. Unfortunately just having a nice sales person isn't enough to make up for having no couches or beds to sleep on for weeks and for waisting our family time waiting around for their delivery trucks so we won't be buying from them again in the future. read more

If I could give it 0 stars then I would. Me and my girlfriend purchased about $5000 worth of furniture from this company. They delivered the first furniture broken and every time they brought a piece out to replace it, that piece was also broken. The company let us do a reselection and delivered half the furniture and left the other half in our home. They messed up their pricing and told us that we would have to pay extra money on top of the contract we had signed before we would receive delivery of our furniture. After 2.5 months of fighting with the company and getting an attorney they finally gave us our furniture. We found a couch we liked here and the sales person was good it was a good deal but then the delivery happened. First it cost $129.00 (which maybe that is standard but seems high and I would expect great service). However, we didn't the first couch showed up with a rip in the front so we refused service. Then the next delivery was schedule for four days later they called with a deliver time between 3:30 - 6:30 they showed up at 2pm I got a call saying that they would wait for 20 min then we would have to reschedule, thankfully my husband could come home and meet them. I then called "customer service" where the lady stated over and over that the time is from 9 am - 9 pm and that the three hour window is a "curtsy" and that is stated in my paperwork. I trying to say that it didn't but she kept repeating the same statement of it being a curtsy so I hung up! I double checked my paperwork and there is nothing in there that states from 9am - 9pm and what company expects you to be home all that time?!?!?!? Finally, I was able to breathe freely and look around the store without being followed by anyone. As I continued to browse I was later approached by a sales person named Ben. He was very professional, polite, knowledgeable and certainly not "Salesy"! I had many questions and concerns about a living room set I was interested it. We recently visited the Pflugerville store for living room furniture. The sales lady was very helpful but we bought a dinning room set from them five years ago and it was not very good quality.Two of the chairs had legs that were different lengths which we didn't discover until we moved it to a tile floor. read more

Furniture is pretty low quality. I use it a lot, but its falling apart only after a year. Warranty company is an even bigger joke. The salesmen told me that damage from my pet and everyday use would be covered. Of course its not. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Possibly the most horrible customer service experience I have ever had in my life!! I went to go get a coffee table and a side table the service that we received was beyond awful. The manager TERESSA was very rude and lied to us about our montage credit that we had from the protection plan that we purchased with our previous furniture that we bought from Ashleys almost 5 years ago. The protection plan is a complete waste, DO NOT BUY IT!! When we were getting ready to pay for our purchase she shorted us money on our credit. Luckily I had the email from Montage and I was able to prove her wrong. When I called corporate, they mentioned that credit never changes, it always stays the same unless the manager physically goes into the account and changes the amount, which is probably what corporate suspected she did. She offered us 5% discount and I believe she was trying to off set her $20 or so by doing this cheap act. She never apologized to us for any of this and instead acted like it was a big surprise, SERIOUSLY!! If this wasn't even enough, they lied to us about the available inventory. We were going to go pick up our furniture from the warehouse in New Braunfels and while we were half way there, I called to check about our items and they were not even in stock. They were back ordered and were not going to be available for another 5 days whereas we were told in the store that they had 2 pieces of each item that we were getting ready to go pick up. When we called to complain about this issue he exact comments were, "it only takes 45 minutes to go to new braunfels, I do it all the time..it's not that far." Really!! Not all of us live 45 minutes away and i am sorry I wasn't looking for your convenience. Now we have to make a whole another trip to go get our stuff. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

I would give a no star if I could!!! We went to Ashley store in Round Rock and bought a coffee table set and paid with cash. They said we would have to wait almost a month for delivery course the coffee table was not available. We said it is fine and we could wait. Two days before our delivery time Ashley called and said that the coffee table is still not available and they have to deliver it in a week on July 1st but the end tables will be still delivered on June 25th ( original date) . I said if they have to do that it is fine. June 25th came around and nothing was delivered. I called delivery service and was on hold for 45 minutes. When I finally got through they said the employee who called us was a new one and he made a mistake about time. They said everything is going to be delivered on July 1st. Ok.... July 1st comes around and upon unwrapping the coffee table the whole piece of wood came off and they have to take it back. They said they did not know when the new table will be delivered to me. At this point I wished I never would buy any furniture from Ashley store any more. I tried to call Ashley store about all issues and after being on hold for 40 minutes somebody finally answered and said: what do you want from me, to see when we are going to deliver your table?.... At this point I thought to myself I have never seen a customer service like this horrible. I do not know how they still get away with all what they do. My husband came home in the evening and touched one of the end tables with a finger and it just started chipping off on the side. So he called customer service ( took him 50 minutes to get through) and the lady asked to send her a picture of the end table and she will call repair man. It is been about 10 days and we yet to hear from her( her name is Patty). The coffee table was finally delivered on July 8th. The delivery guys have been always nice and it is not complaint about the delivery service at all. The delivery guy touched up that end table with a pen and said it will make it look better for now but repair man will still have to come to look at it. The worst customer service I have ever experienced! I will never order from Ashley's furniture again. I was supposed to get my furniture delivered on Tuesday morning and they didn't arrive to my apartment until 7:00. They did not even have all of my furniture and just left the pieces of my bed on the floor. I called to figure out what went wrong and customer care couldn't even find my order or information. When they did find my information they had my work number instead of my cell phone. I don't even know why they had that on file. I specifically told her to take it off. I went to the store the following day to see what was going on with my order and they said they would give me a call because customer care had to figure out what was going on. I was also told I would receive a customer loyalty card for $200( that was a lie ). After I left I received a phone call stating my furniture will arrive Thursday between 4-6. I stayed home until 6. Still no furniture... I took it upon myself to call and see what's going on. I was put on hold for 30 minutes before I decided to hang up and call back to speak with a manager. After speaking to the manager she said she would call back with information. I get a call saying they gave me wrong delivery time and they would be at my apartment in 45 min. I had to go outside myself once I saw the truck. I told the truck it was my order. They had my jobs number and called there instead of my cell. Which means the lady never updated my information. I bought a sofa and loveseat on June 30th....they were finally delivered on August 4th after changing the date twice. The sofa was broken and the delivery guy was trying to hide it and not say anything, it just happened that my daughter saw him trying to be sneaky. I was then told they would send someone to fix it! Hello!!!! I do not want it fixed I want a new one ASS!!! Then they say we have to wait until the 8th to receive a new one. Where do I begin? This place is awful. The buying experience wasn't bad. The sales lady was actual super friendly and helpful. The reason for the one star is the customer service department and delivery. We bought a couch, chair and love seat. We got our loveseat and chair in a couple of weeks. The chair arrived broken. We had to wait another 3 weeks for our couch which we were told was not back ordered. So 1 1/2 months of not having a complete set. Mean while they deliver a new chair. It's broken AGAIN!!!! Then the couch and loveseat are poor quality and we bought one of the most expensive sets there!!!!!!! The fabric is waving on the back there are strings coming apart on both! We haven't even been sitting on these!!!!!!!!! We called about our second broken chair. 3 different people call us about our broken chair asking the same questions!!!!!!! No resolve!!!!!!! I even got a hold of the store manager Dwaine (the only time I spoke with him) he forwards our Info to customer service!!! We finally got so sick of how they handle things we asked for a complete refund and that they come get ALL the furniture. We have to wait 3 weeks for them to pick it up and then issue a refund!! I am not going to do a negative review on the furniture or the salesperson. What I am extremely frustrated at is the customer care delivery confirmation phone line. OMG ! there are no words! but I'm going to try... I bought a dining set the day before thanksgiving. and I was given a delivery date, the Monday after. I only got the dining table with chairs. I have been scheduled to have my buffet delivered THREE times! and every time something happens, and they changed the date and time without informing me. and then, when I tried calling (the THREE times) I got put on hold, one time for 45 mins, this last time 37 mins!! what is going on?!. I made the third person to answer my call while on hold to PLEASE NOT PUT ME ON HOLD. I would not answer her questions until she promised. well, she did. she promised she would not put me on hold again. Next thing I knew, I'm on hold. they answer the call, then quickly put you on hold again! I have given up. Absolutely the WORST in customer service and communication. We went in on Saturday 7/30/2016 and bought a sectional. Rep who sold us the couch was actually a delight Kristina Salinas. She was great and we thought we made a good purchase and thought everything was going to go great. She told us we would get the couch delivered on the 4th and the ottoman on the 23rd of August. No problem. We got rid of our couch the night before and moved things around. On 8/4/2016 we get no call about when the couch would be delivered that day. We call, get put on hold for a LONG time for them to tell us that the couch got moved to be delivered the same day as the ottoman. Well, we already got rid of our couch and would like one ASAP. We spoke with a manager, and they refunded the delivery and was told the soonest we could get the couch was on Monday 8/8/2016. But, we would get a call on Saturday letting us know estimated time of delivery. My boyfriend and I both work so we would definitely need a time so we could work out to be there. NO CALL AT ALL on Saturday. We call again, more long holds and was told the couch was set to deliver on Monday but no time set so they still weren't sure. Monday comes around, still nothing. We call again and was told this was on a 'special delivery truck' and would be there any time between 2pm-10pm. Huge gap. Around 4pm I get a call saying they were 10 min away. That was the first call I got about the delivery and they ONLY gave me a 10 min notice. Ridiculous. Luckily the significant other was home to accept it. Couch gets there and IT'S THE WRONG COLOR. They brought me a white/eggshell colored couch, when we ordered the darker gray color. I made it a point when we bought the couch that we had large dogs and we needed a dark color! Called the store manager and they took off $200 and they would call today 8/9/2016 to let us know when the couch could be delivered. We just got notice that now the couch will not be delivered until 8/18/2016 and the ottoman got pushed back now to 9/1/2016 and not the 23rd stated as before. This has honestly been the WORST customer service and I keep getting the run around. No hope in ever getting a couch and NOW have to go another 2 weeks with no couch since we thought we would have one 8/4. I honestly don't even want the thing anymore, and I WILL NEVER be going through Ashley's furniture again. The worst thing about all of it is we cannot cancel and get a refund unless it is 48 hours from the purchase date. Not date of delivery, we don't even have the couch yet and can't even cancel. I purchased several thousand dallors worth of furniture in ashley home store in pflugerville tx. i was happy with the sales person and the actual purchase. After having the furniture for about two weeks the side rail on the bed broke. i called customer service and had it replacedd no problem it took two months for it to get in the mail. They did not come out to fix it, i had to do it myself. But now the other side broke. i called the homestore they transfered me to customer service and all the are willing to do is send me another rail. so it has broken twice in four months. once from me sitting on it and once from my 70 pound dog jumping onto it. i will never go to ashley again nor will i recomend it to anyone. read more

The only reason I am giving them a one is because I have to enter something in order to post my comment. Here is my story...I was in the market to purchase a living room and bedroom set and decided to purchase from Ashley Furniture in Pflugerville, Texas. This has been the worse experience that I have ever had. Terry King was the rep that assisted me during the process, he was about the only person that was willing to help( maybe because they work on commission). Once the sale was complete I had everything setup for delivery (2 separate delivery days mind you). On the first delivery day the bedroom set was delivered along with the sofa. The delivery personnel damaged the bedroom furniture and attempted to cover the damage with a furniture touch up marker. I did not find out the furniture was damaged until I was in the process of making my bed. The sofa was also damaged in therefore, I refused delivery of item. Although I refused delivery the delivery guys did not want to take the sofa back with them even though customer service told them to. After about 10 minutes of requesting the delivery guys to take the sofa they finally agrees. I had to contact customer service, send pictures of the damage and schedule a new date for delivery of replacements for the damaged goods. Once the replacements came and the other items I ordered the sofa that was refused and sent back to the warehouse was redelivered to my home, this time with additional damage to it. Being that I got rid of my old furniture, I decided to keep the sofa until the second set of replacements was delivered to me. Upon the arrival and setup of the new set I thought everything was over, until I received an agreement for the 5 year protection plan in the mail that I asked to have removed from my purchase because it did include a protective coat sprayed onto the living room set. I have been getting the run around trying to remove this plan. The paperwork that I have does not show the protection plan on the paperwork but their system in the store shows it (what a coincidence). Every time I call Ashley Furniture, the system is down or I am told I have to contact the company that offers the plan to have it removed. I am so over playing this game with Ashley Furniture. I am not impressed with they way they set up deliveries. I never received a call that my delivery was going to have to be cancelled. At 9:45 at night someone finally called and said that they would have to reschedule my delivery. But that is not the whole story before this I had set up three previous deliveries only to get call the day before saying that they were unable to deliver my couch due to the fact that the manufacture could not fill the order. I called and was told there was nothing they could do. I'd heard bad things about Ashley, but I decided to check them out anyway. I went online first and saw some nice things, so I went to the store in north Austin. I was surprised at how nice the store and selection were, and found a dining room table I LOVED. I had no trouble getting it delivered but... when I'd measured my dining room I didn't take into account that, umm, people would actually have to sit in chairs around the table. Duh. It was way too big. I went online to look at some other tables at Ashley and saw another one that I liked. I had no trouble getting the old table taken away and replaced with the new table. But... the color of the table didn't look in person like I expected, and it did not look good in my space. And here's where it all broke down between Ashley and I. I called to have the table picked up and be issued a refund. The day of the supposedly scheduled pick-up came, and by 6pm I hadn't a received a call to confirm the pick-up, like I had previously. So I called the store. The guy I spoke to (is Colin still even there?) said he couldn't check on that for me because he didn't have access to that database but he assured me that I was scheduled. No such luck. I'd scheduled my errands so that I would be home that day and available, so it was certainly an inconvenience. I called the next day to complain to the manager. I explained the situation to him and he said I needed to speak to such-n-such person and just forwarded me to the front desk. Not even an APOLOGY. ZERO CONCERN. i bought several items from the homestore in pflugerville tx and it has been nothing but problems and the montage furniture service is a joke. they turned down all the accidental damage done by my daughter and dog, and in the contract it says they cover all accidental damage. in my book ashley furniture homestore and mfs are a wast of money and time. i cant express how mad i am. I've always been a big fan of Ashley's. I had a pleasant experience with the staff at the actual store, but when it came to dealing with their Customer Care department regarding a return, it's been nothing short of a disappointment. Their customer service reps have zero clue about their return policy and I made a decision based on the information more then one representative provided. I asked to speak with a Manager, I was given the run-around, when I was finally told I would get a call back within 48 hours. I haven't heard from anyone and that was just about two weeks ago. I can't even imagine how this place ever gets return business with these practices. We planned on making big purchases with them, but I would never consider purchasing something with a company that cares as little as they do about the customer experience. This is only one of the issues I've dealt with as far as their Customer Care department, but there's no need to be redundant. I'm clearly not the only one. read more

We ordered a dinette table and dining table February 2014. We were told the furniture would be in the store and we could have it delivered when we got our closing date. Long story short, FOUR months after we ordered the table (JUNE 2014), we received a call saying the dining table wouldn't be in for another two weeks. I complained and the manager offered to refund the exorbitant delivery prices. I said that was fine, because we still didn't have a closing date. Two days later, they call to "verify" the delivery time of the dinette table. She then informed me that the dining table wouldn't be in for another week after the original date I was told. I told her I wanted a refund. She said, "It's only four days." WT..?? It WASN'T four days, it was FOUR months and four days. I went to the store to cancel the order and was told the refunds would take approximately a week. There is still no refund in sight, so I called the store. "Oh. Your refund was issued on our new system. You paid on our old system." I guess so... it was over 5 months ago. I now have to wait another two weeks for my refund. We purchased a dining table and 4 chairs about 2 years ago. We purchased a 5 year warranty on the set. Now that we have to finish of the table flaking off, the paint on the chair foot rests gone, we filed a claim. Seems that was $100. we could have saved. Excuses and more excuses is all we get from the warranty company. Warranty would only cover if we set a hot item on the table or damaged it like breaking a leg. We took extra care of it by using placemats and always protected the top from hot dishes. So warranty does not cover normal use. When I did not get any satisfaction from the warranty company I contacted Ashley direct. I was told that the manufacturer's warranty is only good for 1 year. Seems like when you spend $1,000. for a table and 4 chairs they should last over 1 year. The only reason for 1 star is that the delivery was not a disaster like the products are. Please consider buying your furniture somewhere else. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. My husband and I ordered a bench, and we opted to pick it up ourselves. Once we got it home and assembled it, we realized they gave us the wrong item. In fact, they gave us an item worth $200 more than we'd spent. I *thought* we were being good Samaritans by calling the customer care number to alert them of the mistake. Oh boy, was I wrong. Next time I'll be just as ruthless as they are and keep it. The first customer service rep we spoke with told us to "rent a truck and bring it back. It needs to be returned in pristine, show room condition. And if it's damaged at all, we'll bill you". Um, no, that's not how customer service works. My husband explained to them that we have two small kids and a dog, pristine condition doesn't exist. She then proceeded to explain to us how it's our responsibility to keep the item in showroom quality condition, and if we can't do that, then we should disassemble it and store it. Wouldn't assembling, disassembling then moving and item inherently keep it from being in "pristine" condition!?! We asked repeatedly to speak to her manager, but she kept deflecting. The next day, I called customer service again, but they explained that I'd have to keep the bench in "pristine condition" for the next week, until the item I did order arrives. Apparently they can't just pick up their item without bringing me mine. The rep promised she'd call me back if she could figure out a solution, but I have yet to hear from her. I then opted to call the store - and bless the sweet rep there, she tried everything she could, even alerting the store manager to the mistake, but apparently, everything has to go through corporate. Why did I buy from Ashley in the first place? Because I had store credit from the LAST TIME they messed up my order. You'd think I'd learn. Next time I feel like wasting time and money, I'll light a pile of money on fire and read Twilight rather than go back to this laughable excuse for a furniture store. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. I cannot believe all the trouble, rudeness, and liars we had to deal with. If you are walking in turn around as fast as you can and don't look back. Oh yes you feel very welcomed when you come in and they are so willing to help but once you complete your purchase they throw you under the rug. They are worst than car dealerships. They only had 1/2 of the furniture and were going to deliver the other half almost a month later to save them a trip we told them to hold onto what they had and deliver it all at once. Two days before delivery they had gotten rid of the furniture they had and was going to have to wait another 2 weeks. Not only that, they said the battery pack would have to be picked up at the time of delivery and when I called the battery packs have been on back order for more than 2 months. Sales person knew but he wanted his commission. Well guess what he didn't get it cause we cancelled the entire order. Went into the store to see if they could help us out and they barely talked with us. Never again will I walk into this ridiculous store. it had been a while since I'd purchased from Ashley, I though I'd give them another try. Picked out a couch and recliner that I liked, all electric. I asked up front about their delivery and the salesman said that most things were in stock and short delivery, of course what I picked out was over 2 months! Decided to stick it out. got a call with a delivery change date, was okay with that, then another call that the recliner would be later, said okay because I have no furniture! Next day the delivery guys show up with both pieces!! If I hadn't watched the installation of the furniture I might not have ever known this, and this was my first and worst impression of this whole experience. As the furniture was upside down I noticed the whole thing is made with particle board!!! no real wood at all!! When I pulled the return policy I noticed on the brochure it says, Thank you for investing in quality furnishings with Ashley! I don't know about you but quality is not particle board! Does anyone know how easily that will crack!? I'm not rough on my furniture but I do not expect a 15 year life on this furniture which is what I've had on past living room furniture (not from Ashley's). I was not happy and couldn't even really enjoy my new furniture because of this disappointment. I can't return it, I can only exchange it and I figure that an exchange will just be more particle board furniture. It's heartbreaking to know that I spent $3,000 on furniture that isn't going to last very long, I'm almost afraid to move it around much. I know one thing I learned is to always turn furniture upside down in the store before I purchase it and I hope that this post will make others aware of that also. I had kind of expected Ashley to reach out to me to see if I was a satisfied customer but since they haven't I decided to post on Yelp and make others aware of my experience so that others' aren't as disappointed as I am. Sorry Ashley, I won't be back. The other thing was the delivery guys never bothered to explain anything about this electric furniture to me, they tested it and it all worked but after they left I hooked up a lamp underneath the couch (in tile power) and the couch didn't work anymore, I had to turn it upside down and try to figure out what was wrong, after many attempts I discovered a tiny reset button on one of the cords, this would have saved me so much time if they would have just explained. I'll just say my whole experience with this new furniture has not been pleasant, I'm so sad about my investment. read more
