Pflugerville Ashley location is the worst store I have ever encountered. I moved here from Bryan Texas and the Ashley store there is so professional and willing to help you as a satisfied customer at all times. Because of the good customer service I received in Bryan Texas, I decided to continue my business with them at the PFLUGERVILLE location. My name is Lois Robinson and I am supper mad. I decided to continue my business with them due to me being happy at my previous store. I moved in my new house on December 13, 2019 and my husband and I went into store to look around and decided to go to rooms to go and a nice lady there wanted our business and sold us on a couch, sofa, chair, coffee table and 2 end tables to be delivered on December 20th 2019. They did not bring my coffeeTable and end tables. The delivery guy was not aware that we were suppose to get any and told us to call back them to see why. We noticed after the guy left that the headrest was working on only on seat. I called the location on December 23rd 2019 to report no delivery of the tables and the headrests not working. The lady was very rude and unprofessional. I told her the delivery guys should have checked before they left to make sure everything was working properly and she rudely said well you should have checked yourself before they left. I asked to speak to a manager and was told it wouldn't do any good because he will tell me the same thing. I told her that was very unprofessional and she can not be the judge of what he/she will say. I hung up and called corporate office and they had the manager of store name Dan call me. Dan apologized for the employee at the store for being so rude and he promised me he would make sure he satisfy me and schedule guy to come out and delivery tables and check to see why the headrest is not working. The delivery day was set up on Jan 7th after 4pm. I took off work this day and no one showed up. I called the 512-990-5111 number and selected option 1 for delivery and a lady name Desiree answered. She was rude also and said the delivery was set up on the Jan 7th but it showed estimated time which she say means I never gave them a time. this is not correct and I told her the store manager Dan was suppose to add the time in. I asked to speak with him and she literally told me he was busy and I could not get a delivery until Jan 14th. I asked to talk to another manager and she said they on the floor and don't have time to talk. I was livid. I hung up and called back and spoke with a lady who tried to help me and told me to try calling the store again. I called about 7 times and no answer. I called the number again and selected option 1. A guy name Richard who said he was in the corporate office and the 14th is the only time and he refused to let me talk with manger and said he will have someone call me in which no one did. I was very upset and decided to drive from Hutto to the Ashley store in Pflugerville which no one was answering. I cooled down so I would not be unprofessional in this business. I talked to a nice understanding guy name Vincent who was very professional and told me Dan was no longer at the store. He also informed me that He did not put the delivery date in and that's why it was on hold. He also notice that my order was canceled. I did not tell them to cancel my order and I feel either Desiree or Richard did this because I made the comment if someone didn't get it together I was going into the office and have the cancel everything and pick up what the delivered and take my business to Rooms to go. I have been treated like a dog with the unprofessional staff in corporate and at the store. I charged over 8, 000 dollars at this store and to be treated unprofessional by this store and the corporate office that oversee this place is terrible business. Customer service means everything in a business and I feel this store need severe training on professionalism. They need training on how to talk on the phone to customers and what and what not to say to a client. I work in a business that if we talked or treated people like this we would be FIRED!!!! Vincent set up to have them deliver me new furniture on January 25th and the tables will be delivered on January 14th. I strongly feel they should have accommodate an earlier time. I will no longer do business with them and this matter is not over. I will seek other measures to make sure they are reprimanded for poor service. I still haven't been contacted by anyone, the escalation teams won't call or email, regular customer service people won't help, and the stores can't help because if the purchase is made online then there is nothing that the store can do because its completely separate. Setting aside everything about the terrible customer service, late delivery of the other furniture I ordered at the same time, scuff and damage marks on every piece, the multiple promises of being contacted to resolve the issue, the fact that I have waited almost 3 months for a table top replacement that was packaged damaged because there isn't a hole in the box where the hole in the table is, the fact that you can't return something you bought online to a store is beyond archaic. Every single other company i have ever bought anything from online will let you take it into a store to expedite the process. It is unbelievable how this shit company is still in business. read more

I ordered a new recliner over the phone. Little did I know that they were going to deliver it in a rental truck and the chair had big black bug on it. When I called the store for a replacement or money back, they said no because I waited to long to let them know, just a few days. Now I have bedbugs or whatever. I had the worst experience at Ashley HomeStore! I will NEVER buy furniture from them again! We furnished our entire house. The salesperson was very helpful and great. However, after the sale was AWFUL! Most of our furniture was delivered in one day. The delivery guys were more than 2 hours late. My office desk and chair were not available at the same time and could not be delivered for about 3 weeks. I was okay with that and we set up a delivery date for this past Saturday. I did not hear anything from them the day before so I called Saturday morning. My account was looked up and I was given my delivery window for that day. I was told that they were having trouble with their delivery department. So...we stayed home all day waiting for the delivery. About 30 minutes before the end of the window I was given I called back. They had no record of my delivery and said my items would not be available until later in the month. None of this was communicated to me and we had sat there waiting all day!! I cancelled the order promptly because that's ridiculous! I then called Austin Furniture Outlet (AMAZING PLACE!) and they were able to order the exact same items and have them to me within 3 days.....at a cheaper price!!! Forgot that I had a store credit from years ago. Sharon took the time to get someone to look it up and low & behold I had almost $500 credit. We found a piece we liked and used that credit towards the purchase. If Sharon had not taken the time to research my credit - we would have walked out without buying anything. Update 6/16/17 Again Kimberly was awesome. With many more hassles including them not delivering parts (my son's bed was incomplete and they were sayimg a week to deliver parts. Also we were not allowed to remove the bed leaving is with very uncomfortable sleeping arrangements with a toddler) we asked Kimberly if we could return all the furniture. She obliged. The pickup guys were much nicer and were surprised by how terrible it all was. All we kept hearing is no we cant and you have to understand our policies. In the end pur business didnt matter. I dont believe the Pflugerville store is at fault but Ashley delivery, headquarters, and customer service is. This would have never even have begun if the 1st delivery guys hadnt been jerks and hadnt completed the bed. Buyer beware and maybe if you buy pick up the item yourself. We are grateful to Kimberly. There were a few other customer service agents who tried to help-Aleesa, Alex, Denise but they were working in a system where they were exceptions. Update: The one amazing person through all of this was our sales rep Kimberly. She is kind and compassionate and was great with the sale. If you do buy from Ashley ask for Kimberly. I know she is mortified that we have had this experience. Delivery guys lying and complaining. Ashley calls us 3 or 4 times with accusations and puts us on hold for 10 minutes at a time. They were almost an hour later than the window and Ashley offered no customer service or even asked us what was going on. The delivery guys spent 15 mins on the phone complaining (they had disappeared and we couldn't find them). Then they called again and complained. And they called a 3rd time complaining. Now their manager is only giving them 20 mins to finish delivery. I actually feel bad for them but the whole operation is a mess. They wouldnt shake my husband's hand when leaving, by passed the review scale that customers normally fill out (my husband saw him swipe past it), left a giant mess of foam and open dessicant packets (i have an old dog and almost 3 year old who could eat that stuff), and they didn't even install the bedframe properly. I would recommend against buying from Ashley all together. I have purchased large items from other companies. Never ever experienced such poor customer service and blame and lies. DO NOT BUY!!!!!! I do appreciate the rep refunding our delivery fee but the stress and the hassle and the mess is way more than that. read more

On March 17, 2012, my mother and I visited the Ashley Furniture in Pflugerville as I was searching for a sectional sofa that had 4 built in recliners. We were greeted by Gary Thompson (salesman) who proceeded to direct us over to a couple of sectionals he felt would fit our needs. We quickly said no to one of them as it was a leatherette blend. We preferred real leather. The floor model consisted of a left arm facing recliner, an armless chair, a corner wedge, an armless recliner, an arm console and finally a right arm facing chaise lounger. As we have limited space in our living room, we measured and determined that the arm console would have to be removed in order to fit the space. Gary said that wouldn't be a problem and that he would also recommend replacing the armless chair and the chaise lounger with an armless recliner and a right armed recliner thus giving us the 4 recliners that we were searching for. He confirmed several times that they could all be used simultaneously. When we were still a bit hesitant, he said that we could try them out and as long as we called within 48 hours, we could return them for a full refund. So we decided to place the order. It took more than 3 weeks for delivery. Immediately after they were delivered, we saw a huge problem. The two armless recliner's leg rests hit each other when reclined. Also, the underside of the leg rests have metal supports that have sharp edges which made significant indentions in the leather of the opposite recliner's leg rest. We immediately reported this to Ashley Furniture and was told "sorry, we can't refund your money". Instead, they sent a technician out to our home to confirm what was happening. The technician then told us that this configuration should have never been sold together and that this was a known problem and the salesman should have notified us that we would be facing this issue. I contacted Ashley Furniture customer service AND spoke with the sales manager as well as the store manager. They all told me that there was nothing they could do as the return policy is 48 hours from the date of purchase... not from the date of delivery. I tried telling them that Gary told us that we could try out the sofa and if we didn't like it, to return it within 48 hours for a full refund. If the return policy was in fact from the date of purchase, how could we possibly "try it out" within that first 48 hours? Kathleen, the store manager simply apologized for my experience. That's it. No refund. No offer to have me talk to someone higher up. Nothing. Now I'm stuck with $2500 in gift cards to a place I never want to do business with again. Avoid them like the plague. And if you meet a salesman named Gary Thompson, the sales manager Joey, or the store manager Kathleen... Run away. You'll thank me later. read more

My husband and I came in to check out some items we saw on sale online. One of which was a mattress which we wanted to feel first. Steven helped us and was absolutely amazing and helpful. He showed us the items we were interested in. All of which were more expensive than the online sale price, we they not only matched the online price, but went lower! I was having a hard time selling my husband on some of the items, but Steven sold him with ease with the competitive prices and the warranty info and everything. We were dreading furniture shopping and it was such a breeze with his help. We will definitely be returning for our future furniture needs. The customer service and business practices are much less than desirable. In fact, I am comfortable saying that they are simply unethical. They are crooks! I purchased my sectional on 4/19, at which time I was repeatedly told that I would be contacted on Tues. Fir delivery on Wed. That didn't happen. I did a deep clean on Tuesday and tossed my couches in preparation for the new. When I called the store, the referred me to cuatomer setvice (or lack thereof)...who gave me a run around. They were nice enough, but my item was not going to be delivered as I was initially told. Now they are saying it will delivered on 5/17. Some insight into my world... I have 4 children ages 7 weeks, 20 months, 11 and 13. I no longer have furniture in my living room!!!! I asked to speak to a supervisor. After waiting a while, a woman came on, listened to my fruatration and apologized. Offered a gift card for their store, which I declined stating that they no longer had my business. She then placed me on hold to see what she could do.... did I mention that I have a newborn and another under? 2 hour long phone calls do not exist in my world, and they shouldn't! The woman was able to offer delivery on 5/10 and $100 put toward my account (I went through their in store financing which was later revealed as RAC, yet another upset). Well... today is the 10th and my furniture is not here. Here we go with another 2 hour + phone call. They refuse to offer any type of recourse. Basically, they told me thst they are so sorry for my issues but really it the stores fault and there is nothing they can do... blah blah blah. The alledged supervisor that I spoke to this time also states that she is the highest position other than the owners and so the buck stops there. Yeah, okay... I'm sure that the owners have rested there busi ess on her shoulders with her lack of skills. She seriously refused a refund and offered nothing. I will, of course, be filing a complaint with whomever I can. I will also see if there were any laws broke.... etc. However, all of that does no good at the current time. I'm still stuck in a house without furniture and I can't even get back my $600 that I have already given so that I can go shopping elsewhere. Below is my original review and it just gets worse from there. An Ashley rep did contact me to let me know that they franchise the bed frames so Ashley is not really responsible. I have to get another customer care person to come look at the bed again. I did inform her that if they sell it they should stand behind it. So I miss work again. The guy comes works on the bed and decides it really is not something he can fix. Ashley rep calls again we discuss it, they decide they will exchange the bed within 14 days and I can pay the difference for a new bed. We go into the store and our original rep helps us get a discount on a different bed because of all the crazy. We pay the difference and they come tonight at 8:35 Pm. WELLLL guess what they only bring half the bed. I call the service center and I am told the store must have keyed it wrong it only shows one item. We go back a forth a bit and she basically says its the stores problem. Mean while looking at the box they are carrying out it says Box 2. Don't you think that means there is a Box 1 somewhere? The driver gets a hold of a new person who does say it looks like a mistake and she realizes that this has been a long process from all the notes. So I ask how are they going to make this right. She says she can give me $100 toward my next purchase but she doesn't really believe that I will be shopping there again. Boy does she have that correct. So I ask her again how are they going to fix this. I even went so far as to ask if maybe I need to contact an attorney because they apparently don't care what I have to say. She said she didn't believe that was necessary as they would bring the bed. I am a little loud at this point. REALLY when. She said because I was still on the delivery schedule she could not set up anything permanent but she could try to get if for us next Saturday if I didn't want to miss work again. OMG what is wrong with store. I asked her if I would be first on the list and she said probably not because of where I live. Does this sound like they are trying to make this right. I will never recommend this store to anyone and I am pretty sure the people who know me and all this drama will not shop there for fear if the same crazy. They schedule their drivers to deliver close to far which is crazy anyway. These guys still had another delivery after us according to the tracker it showed them there at 10:23pm. What is wrong with these people. I guess it will be back to the actual Ashley store tomorrow even though I had other plans. This as actually a short version of tonight. This purchase started on May 1 and has been a nightmare every since. The delivery information was incorrect so I missed work for nothing since they were going to deliver by noon. They showed up at 7:30 PM. The remote on our $ 3000 bed was missing and we were told we had to contact the vendor to get a new one. When I told them they could take the bed back miraculously they could get me another one, but I had to miss another day of work to do so. Once we were able to raise the bed it started knocking when we moved. I called and got sent to at least 4 different places. At one place I asked to talk to management and was told to bad she was management. I finally get a hold of the manufacture that sends only technicians that are trained on the frames. He is arrogant and I had to help him lift the mattress and bed frame. He was in flip flops and shorts. He could hear the noise but could not figure it out. So he calls a friend and puts him on speaker to try to figure it out. Finally between the 2 of them they decided they didn't know and they would oil it. If it started making noise again I should just re-oil it. He was more interested in taking pictures as proof he had been here. I tried to send a message to the corporate office and got an email back that stated they wouldn't help me I had to contact the store. My bed creaks so loud now when we turn over at night that we sometimes wakes us up. I called the store again and was informed I still had to go through the manufacturer. So once again I call and their system is down. She is very nice as I re-explain the whole story and she takes notes. She states that she will call me back the following Monday. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. Today I get a package in the mail no explanation and it has casters in the box with instructions on how to replace them. OMG I apparently am stuck with a crappy $3000 bed that rattles. I get mad every time i go to bed because what we consider a big purchase has turned so awful. I purchased a new sofa from Ashley less than 1 year ago. I am so disappointed in the fabric as it pills up like a natty old sweater. I purchased a 5 year protection plan and was told that I could have it cleaned as many times as needed in the 5 years. I have a new puppy and the puppy peed on the sofa. I thought it was time to have it cleaned. Then you call to have them come clean but they won't come unless you can see the stain. Well, I can't see it but I can smell it. The 5 year protection plan is a waste of money. Now I have a crappy sofa and money down the drain since they will not honor the cleaning plan purchased. We were looking for a new couch and dining room set. We found a great dining room set and a vanity table. They had a large selection of dining room sets. They are scattered throughout the store. It would be nice if they were grouped all together, but probably not as visually pleasing. The vanity was in the kids section, but plenty large for an adult. We weren't crazy about the couch selection. It would be great if they had more color options for the furniture sets. The customer service here was great! I'm not sure how the employees keep up with you through the labyrinth of rooms. You do get the feeling they work off commission and attaching protection plans to the purchase, which can be a little off putting. That's the case with most furniture places though. Overall I like their selection and the pricing seems fair for the quality. I really appreciated the help we received. Andrew, the manager, was very helpful and attentive. He checked in with us many times and let us know about all of our options. He also went out of his way to help us and find the best deals for us. read more

This is going to be the longest review you'll probably ever read. NEVER BUY FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY. Let me start off by saying I am a first time home owner. Was so excited to pick out all the furniture for my new home. I went to the Pflugervile TX location because I saw they had a sale going on and I wanted to take a look around. After meeting the sales associate by the name of Waylon M, he stayed with me for hours walking through the store and bringing my vision to life. Mind you, I did this before I closed on my home. I put 10% down on the furniture, and he needed my CURRENT address. I gave him the address of the current home I was living in and he and I both discussed that my furniture will need to be delivered to my NEW HOME. He said that we will change the address on my account once I close on the home. I trusted him. Now the time comes for me to close on my home, November 25... Never heard from Waylon after texting him multiple times. I go into the Pflugerville location and was told I'd be helped by Jerry, who I believe is the store manager. Jerry and I set up the financing, filed all the paperwork with the NEW address and I was told that my furniture would be delivered to my home. The day comes for it to be delivered, and it's delivered to the OLD ADDRESS. So now I'm pissed off! The delivery truck/ warehouse cannot be reached because supposedly there's no "direct phone number" to reach them. I have NO IDEA where all my furniture is. Once they finally locate my furniture and reach out to me, it's delivered around 7pm or so. Once they proceed to unload their truck, they are almost finished installing my bed's frame. I ask them where the mattresses are and they go blank... THEY WEREN'T on the truck. WTF kind of bullshit is that?!! Can't sleep in my new bed that now. So now I'm super pissed off. I was then told that my mattress won't be there until days later. At this point, I'm on the phone with customer service and the Pflugerville store manager, Jerry. NO ONE HAS APOLOGIZED TO ME FOR THEIR FUCK UPS. Fast forward to the day that by bed frames and mattress are delivered. I ordered a king sized bed with adjustable frames. The frames for this bed are 2 twin sized adjustable frames. THEY SENT ME TWO DIFFERENT ADJUSTABLE FRAMES. At this point in crying my eyes out, wanting to RUIN this ENTIRE COMPANY. I have SO MUCH RAGE. The wrong frame is still a twin adjustable base, but it's the much more expensive version of the one I purchased. THEY WANTED TO TAKE THE WRONG FRAME BACK LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT, SO THAT EQUALED MORE DAYS OF ME NOT SLEEPING IN MY BED BECAUSE OF THEIR FUCK UPS!!! I told customer service and Jerry (who I'm on the phone with) that I will be keeping the wrong base until they can bring me the correct one so I have a damn bed to sleep in. They left, and that was that. Fast forward to today, January 3! Hooray! Finally I can get the correct base delivered to me so I never have to deal with this fucking company again. THEY OPENED THE BOX TO THE BASE AND THE FABRIC WAS RIPPED!!!!! I told them to load the base back on the fucking truck and to not come back until a base in mint condition is delivered to me again. AGAIN, NO APOLOGY. THIS COMPANY IS A FUCKING JOKE. NO COMPENSATION, NO APOLOGY, HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. I hope this review makes it to corporate. I will be posting it just about everywhere a review can be posted. I can only hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else. I still have the wrong adjustable base. They delivered a used couch with a repaired burn hole on the arm and tried to pass it off as new

The worst customer service and salesmanship I've ever experienced. Troy the salesman ordered the wrong item for us and we didn't know for 2 days. When we did find out (looking the number up on the computer) we returned to the store and tried to find another product ( queen sofa sleeper ) that would work but nothing would. We decided to get a partial credit on our Visa and keep the chairs that were ordered and they refused to do that. Would only offer a store credit even though none of the other sofa sleepers could work. Troy and store managers Chris Caba and Chris ( ?? ) basically laughed us off and did nothing to try and help. They made their sell and that's where their part ended. Alicia and Veronica ( the office girls ) said this happens quite often and they get quite a few upset customers who refuse to ever return because the customers can not get cash or credit returned. This company (at least the people at this store) does NOT care about their customer; they want to sell, sell, sell, and blow you off after that. I will NEVER return to Ashley and cancelled the whole sale through Visa and filed a claim as well against them. Something I have never even thought of doing with any other company in my 48 years.I could go on and on but pray you avoid this store and find your furniture elsewhere; you will be happier in the long haul. The quality of this furniture has gone seriously downhill! 10 yrs ago I purchases a living room set, I still have it, it's solid and it's nice with the exception of needing to be cleaned...5yrs ago I purchases 2 couches, they fell apart, staples were popping out of the back within a couple weeks and within a couple years, the fake leather like material had peeled off some of the seats. I figured, you get what you pay for and these couches were very cheap. So i braved it again, purchases a dining table last year. Screws fell out of the chairs that could not be put back because the holes were stripped , the table top can't withstand the mild heat of a dinner plate, I do not put hot things on the table, just hot food on a plate which causes hard to remove white stains all over the table. Some of the finish has worn off, this is a very lightly used table. I purchased the extended warranty coverage (mistake), turns out, they don't really want to cover anything, they'll eventually come out and try to repair, but when they fail, they will do every thing to avoid refunding your money. Ashley pushes the montage coverage, stay away from it, it's BS. My table was discontinued so they could not replace it, they would not credit me for the cost of the set, they picked it apart as if I bought each piece individually and priced it as so...table top, base, chairs...apparently what was sold as a set is not covered as a set, no one will tell you this up front nor is it stated anywhere. After months of fighting with Montage (warr. company) I finally gave up and settled for just a little over $300 for a table I spent almost $800 on. The terms of this credit, you have to buy the exact same itemm you have 90 days to use it or lose the credit, warranty is no longer valid because you used it once, I did manage to get them to agree to let me use the credit toward any other furniture. Once this was settled, Montage informed me that I would receive an email confirmation of that the claim was settled and so would Ashley within the hour, then I would have this credit available and only 90 days to use it. I wanted to go shopping during the big memorial day sale that lasted about a week or so. I got the confirmation and according to Montage, so did Ashley...but they didn't key it in to the system yet, so I called daily for 2 weeks before my credit even showed up and then I had to have it faxed over to the store so I could finally use it. No one in customer service at Ashley could tell me what dept was in charge of entering the credit info, or why it was taking so long or if they even received it, it was confirmed thru montage that they did receive it the same day as I did. Anyway, after several months of fighting for my claim and 2 weeks of waiting for some higher power over at Ashley's corporate office to type the credit into a computer....I confirmed with corporate that there was a note stating that I could pick out any piece of furniture in store to put my credit towards, they faxed a copy of this to the store as well. I picked out a crappy couch (it looks nice though) and didn't spend any extra money, they said the couch would be delivered the following Wens. A couple days later, they call and say that when they forwarded the purchase to corporate that they said I had to pick out the same furniture that I had the claim on....I suggested they READ the letter that was right in front of them and the note that states I can pick out any piece of furn. etc. So the girl at Ashley calls corp and they actually read the letter this time and realize they were wrong...but by the time they call me back, the couch had gone into backorder for 3 weeks. They set a delivery day. 3 days before del. I get an automated call saying that I have to confirm delivery on that date or it would be cancelled, so I confirmed. 2 days later at 10 am I get a call from customer service at corp. saying i needed to confirm delivery for the following day or it would be cancelled... I called back, spoke to a real person, confirmed delivery. 1pm same day, I get a call from Ashley Cust service saying I had to confirm del. or it would be cancelled....seriously? Again, I called letting them know that I already confirmed it twice and this is now my 3rd time, please let everyone know. Their ordering system sucks, everything first goes through corporate, why they can't just sell right there from the store is beyond me. The sales people were all very friendly, the girl i spoke to several times at the store while waiting for the credit was very nice and truly tried to help but corp was giving her the same run around. We're very proud of his accomplishment and purchase. We've been in Cyprus several times to receive the furniture and each time we've had to call to be told the furniture would be delivered at another time, or just partially. Three times later we asked for a refund and were told by Corporate NO. That because some of it was delivered and onsite for 48 hours he was not entitled to a refund. A representative from corporate said He CONTRACTUALLY could wait forever. Is this a company you want to do business with? We are so very disappointed with the lack of compassion or customer centric solution based help. read more

My review would have been better and my only complaint would have been about the pushing selling of the insurance without which Ashley implies you are on your own (which is a bad thing because the furniture does start falling apart shortly after delivery-I've picked up 4 screws from my only months old living room set). That aside, I was motived to warn future customers about the delivery and lack of after the sale service. After waiting 3 hours, which is the window they gave me, I have now waited an additional 1 1/2 hours and still no furniture. No recognition from Ashley that people have probably been fired for their jobs for much less than missing 4 1/2 hours of work! Nope! You know what the compensation is? A $75.00 coupon which I must use at their store to purchase something else!!!! Ashley doesn't understand customer service nor do they understand accountability. I shopped at several furniture stores one Saturday including custom high end and mid-range stores. My final stop was at Ashley and I was so happy to find so many good deals and great looking items. I had a 3 hour shopping spree and bought a lot of furniture and accessories for my new house. Doris Clark was so delightful and helpful. I recently moved to the area and I moved without furniture. so I went to Ashley to buy furniture. The in-house staff was very nice at the store, very helpful and I ended up buying 2 sets of mattresses (very expensive), got the 5 year no interest plan, all good, set up delivery date. Due to just moving to the area (no mail box key yet), asked if bill could be sent to another address in Austn. Bedding going to my new residence, wanted to make sure I received bill and paid in a timely manner. No problem they replied we do this all the time, delivery date set up for Thursday, (bought mattresses on Monday). On Wednesday received a call from Ashley they needed to set up new delivery date, could deliver on Friday between 11 am-1 pm, okay no problem. On Friday my inner voice said call Ashley and see if all is well with the delivery process, called and yes mattresses were on their way, in fact, the next stop, (if you haven't guessed by now), they were on their way to the Austin, TX address. Of course I'm pissed, I have been sleeping on an air mattress for a couple of days and my husband is coming to TX on Friday to check out the new place, told him by the time he arrives should have a bed. Called Ashley again and they inform me that the new delivery date could be the next week, of course that was unacceptable to me at this stage, I did not make a mistake, why should I pay the penalty for Ashley's error and after numerous telephone calls with customer service (who puts you on hold for at least an hour in hopes that you eventually hang up) and the store, as well as asking for the corporate number to complain (left corporate message on an answering machine), they decided that they could deliver the next day. Advised them needed to leave home around 3 (prior engagement), so since they screwed up I was sure they could accommodate. Ashley store employee told me of course, arranged new delivery/time and definitely between 11am-1 pm no problem, needless to say bed arrived at my home at 4:30 pm. I thought my body would combust from being so hot, but with lots of aspirin and water I made it through and made the engagement as well. If you think this saga is over, think again. So about three weeks after delivery I receive a call from Ashley Representative wanting to discuss my issues. We discussed and I told him that whomever is in charge of Customer Service and Logistics should be terminated on the spot, and told him my issues and concerns as well as how they could have solved my issue and not let my anger and temper escalate out of control, (always try to offer a solution or at least other options) and I also indicated to him that I had not received a bill (remember I need a mailbox key) and that's why my mail is being directed to my son's address. He states, No bill yet, so my response to that -When is that coming? According to him, no bill generated yet, should receive in a week or so and also he checked and it is definitely set up to go to the alternate address, Not one week later, I am with family having a good time (it's my birthday-Sunday), my cell phone rings and guess who-bank calling me about my past-due Ashley bill. I am one month behind and now new bill has been mailed with a $25.00 late fee. Of course I immediately paid bill by telephone, still waiting on police to knock at door surrounding the @25.00 late fee conversation, which bank said they would adjust and remove (but you know how far I trust anybody from Ashley or affiliated with them at this point), although she did resend the bills to the correct billing address. I thought about paying the entire bill, but hey since no interest let them wait (hell the furniture is overpriced anyway). Called Ashley about the $25.00 late fee to make sure it is removed and "they don't have anything to do with the bank fees", although you gave the bank the wrong billing information. She said she would solve this issue with a $25.00 credit to the bill. Let's hope so because I now have to write all 3-credit companies to dispute the late payment. Now when I pass any Ashley locations I break out in hives and if I could take away stars I would. read more

So first Id like to say it was awesome that they gave me a FULL refund on my defective dura blend couch I purchased over two years ago, thank you Ashley corporation, but when I went back to do my reselection of another sofa I didn't too much care for the guy who helped up out, he was a fast talker ran my credit, had me initial some paper, then ask me what day did I want it deliver, when me purchasing it wasn't even confirmed with me, very unprofessional and sleazy, so he was garbage, and as far as delivery goes, DO NOT.... Get your hopes up thinking that they will be there within the scheduled time frame, try 2-3 hours past it, after I took off early from work to be here, not the first time though, there delivery drivers suck, and not to mention the montage furniture plan they try to upswell you on, it's not worth it, they do crappy cheap work, and it takes over a month to get a claim processed.had it not been for the in store credit refund I probably wouldn't have went back to Ashley, but hey that's big business for you, ps I'm still waiting for my furniture to be delivered, they said between 3-6 and it's now 8pm and haven't heard a word, new update the delivery guys show up a 9pm and my sofa was damaged had to return and get another delivery date a week out, so I missed money at work and sat here all day for nothing, then they try to offer me a $$75 in store credit, I'm never shopping there again ASHLEY FUCKING SUCKS!!!! read more

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF!! This is the worst furniture buying experience I ever had. For weeks they advertised 72 moths 0% financing for SuperBowl Sunday which is the only reason I would have stepped into a furniture store on SuperBowl. After looking around and the sales guy following me and my boyfriend everywhere while we were trying to look around, he kept telling up what a great time it was to buy because of the 0% financing for 72 months. Before purchasing the couch and sofa that was over $4,000 I asked how long the paperwork would take. He assured us it would be about 45 minutes to an hour so we agreed. Three hours later we were still there with all our paperwork messed up and another sales associate had to assist. They told me I was signing for 72 months 0% financing but come to find out in my last bill I got charged an extra $900. I came to find out that they only put us in for only 12 month of 0% financing. I called the store and corporate at least 10 times in the last months because each kept telling me to call the other. I've got the complete run around with all of them telling me there is nothing they can do about it. Nobody will give me a contact of who I can speak to higher up. This is a hoax and fraud. I have excellent credit and could have bought from anyone with more than 12 months 0% financing and not been charged an extra $900. They have been extremely unprofessional and customer service is horrible. Lesson learned here...DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE!!!! Truly the worst customer experience I've had to date. I purchased an entire bedroom set for my eight year old. The sales experience is great! I suppose most would be while they are trying to secure your money. Everything that follows is disastrous. I was given a delivery date and was rescheduled more than 5 times. After giving up on the long wait times for customer service I decided to return to the store to find out why I was continually being rescheduled for delivery. I spoke with a manager named Samantha who was beyond incompetent, not customer friendly, and had no empathy or concern regarding my complaint. I then tried to cancel my order and like every other reviewer, I was told that it had been more than 48 hours and I could only reselect, not cancel. Long story short go somewhere else! Two experiences: bought a kitchen table for delivery, which ended up in delay hell. They pushed availability back by a few days, then a couple of weeks, then "next month sometime." This was not acceptable for when we needed it, so I went to the store to cancel the order. I was very polite with my requests, and was told by the customer service rep that they couldn't do this and I would need to call the main number and speak with their customer service. I did so, and was told on the phone that I would need to speak to customer service in the store. Store rep started getting pushy and I suggested that they talk with each other. Store rep was then suddenly able to cancel the order. Said he would say that I "came in yelling" to justify the cancel, which was very off-putting given that I had been very polite. Two weeks ago I decided to give them another chance while looking for a recliner. Salesman played the typical games of "going to talk to the manager" about pricing. Seemed very annoyed that we were even there. I asked if they had any price-matching policy for a price I found online for the same recliner and he just about lost it like I had just insulted him. Despite this, we went ahead and bought it, given that he promised we could pick it up in New Braunfels while I was there on business that following Tuesday. Sure enough, the next day, I get a call saying it is delayed. I call customer service asking if I can get it delivered with the fee waived since my purchase was predicated on it being available for pick up. Rep refuses and suggests that I call the warehouse the day of to see if it will be at there on time. On that Tuesday I call starting at opening time only to get voicemail for a solid two hours. Once I finally reached someone, he says that the truck never arrives until mid-afternoon, which is too late for me. I go back to the store that night to once again ask for the delivery fee to be waived for the order to stay active, which they agree to do (thank you!). I'm told that I will get a call the next day to set up the delivery time for that Thursday. Wednesday comes, no call. Thursday comes, no call. I finally call customer service again Thursday afternoon and discover that my delivery window is 2:30-5:30 and that the driver will call. 6:00 comes, no call. I call customer service back and am told that the truck is delayed three hours. Later that night the truck comes, and the loaders start bringing in a recliner that was a completely different color than what we ordered. They eventually discover that they had loaded the items in the wrong order and find the correct piece in the truck. Summary: comedy of frustrating errors and terrible customer service with two different purchases. My wife and I are regrettably done looking for any more furniture at Ashley. read more

OMG I can't find anything nice to say about how this store is managed!! I picked out my chairs, told my sales person that I would call to order and he gave me his personal cell number so that we could finalize the order. His cell phone was not working when I called the next day so I called the store to ask for him, finding out it was his day off. I left a message and was assured he would call the next day. The next day I called again to find out it was another day off so left another message for him to call me to finalize the order. The next day I called again to find out it was another day off so asked for another sales associate to help. He said he would call my original sales person to make sure he ordered the correct chairs and call me right back. The next day I called again as I was not called back as promised, to find out the original sales associate no longer worked for the "company". Needless to say I was a bit hot under the collar so asked for a manager. After 10+ minutes I hung up as I was tired of waiting for the manager to come to the phone to speak with me. Called back and spoke with "the evening manager" who was defensive and made it my problem that I was not serviced properly. Needless to say, this store needs help in dealing with people who want to buy furniture from them. NO phone call was returned and NO service given. I'm still reeling from this unpleasant experience and will not do business with them again. I found the Ashley chairs on line from Wayfair and ordered them with free delivery making the price cheaper than the store. Hooray for the net!! I can give kudos to Star Funiture in Austin who did an exemplary job in ordering and delivering office furniture to my new business. Bahhh Ashley, Yeah Star. read more

I didn't care for the gentleman that helped us (and by help I mean wrote down item numbers) so when I called the store the next day and asked if someone else could help me I was transferred to a woman who was incredibly nice and said it wouldn't be a problem to work with her and not the original salesman. About an hour or so later I received a call from the first salesman (he had gotten my number and order change info from the saleswoman) and I was informed that he would be helping me. I asked about price differences between Ashley's website versus in-store and he said they could price match if I brought in the info. I also asked about price matching an website that was an authorized Ashley retailer and he told me that they wouldn't price match online competitors. Then he informed me that the finance deal I had been given on Monday wasn't available any longer (he called on Tuesday). I went ahead and ordered some of my items from the Ashley website but ordered most of them from a third party site. Today I received a call from the sales guy and he said that the manager would be willing to price match the online retailer. Gah! All around a disappointing experience with the store itself. This place just has bad customer service. No one is very helpful or knows what's going on. The customer care team or anyone for that matter does not contact you at all and they had switched things on me without saying anything until I personally called them. I felt as if they treated me different than my boyfriend as well and were more willing to help when talking to him. I was very close to canceling my entire order which consisted of a new living room set, new bedroom set, and dining room table, but knew that this was the only place that had the right styles of furniture that I wanted. If I were able to get these furniture pieces anywhere else I would've canceled and gone somewhere else. read more

The delivery of my mattress and box springs was a joke. They will not remove the plastic covers over the box spring and the mattress. So, trying to hoist and balance to cut and remove the plastic. Would not take my old box springs and mattress due to small stain. Won't be buying anything further because their delivery policies are ridiculous. read more

For it being our first time furniture buying experience, this place was great! Our sales guy, Eric Jefferson, was all that we could ask for and more. He was helpful but not pushy, available but not like the typical furniture store employee (won't stop following you/asking if you need anything/pointing out furniture that is obviously not what we were there to buy). He was considerate, respectful, funny, and above all he kept our "end game" in mind. Meaning he did not try to push furniture/add-ons/ extras just to bump the sale. I'm an easy going guy. Went in to put 2 bedroom suites on layaway, the guy charged my credit card for the full amount, when I asked why was my account charged the full amount he stated my fault. He then went over to speak to a coworker to resolve the matter. 10 minutes elapse they come back over and say the were going to refund the difference back to my card but ended up charging me again but this time for the deposit but by them doing this they had taken up the entire balance of my bank card and I was out of cash for the entire weekend. To make a long story short I spoke with the store manager on duty and all they had to say was mistakes happen did not offer any type of concession.
