Bought a $800 recliner two years ago and a bolt broke that anchors the left side to the frame. Ashley only has a one year warranty and they won't fix it for a fee. 10/10 Do Not Recommend I should have gone with my gut on this one. In the past, I purchased two full bedroom sets from Ashley and had issues with both. They arrived scratched and dinged up, and their "solution" was sending someone out with a furniture marker to try and fix the damage. Considering the amount of money spent, that was incredibly disappointing. I swore I would never purchase from Ashley again. Unfortunately, I went against my better judgment when I needed end tables for my living room and decided to give them another try. Big mistake. Customer service is only halfway helpful while you're in the store. Once you leave, good luck getting anyone to actually help resolve an issue. Basically, a not my problem response. I picked up two end tables from their warehouse, only to get home and discover that the hardware for one of them was missing. The store couldn't help, the warehouse couldn't help, and the 1-800 customer service line couldn't help either. After multiple attempts, I finally reached someone who said they would order the missing parts. I picked up the tables on 2/21/26 and was told the replacement hardware would arrive in 5-10 business days. That didn't happen. After calling again three weeks later, I'm now being told the parts won't arrive until the end of April. There is absolutely no reason a handle and two screws should take over two months to receive. Shopped after hurricane damage. Ashleys could not deliver products in their store so we ordered some from Amazon. Within months, and within the Ashley warranty period linked to the Amazon pages, a headrest showed terrible wear. Went to the store who connected me with their warranty department. Was told anything they sell thru Amazon has NO warranty. Plus you cannot be connected to any supervisors. Thats it. Complete denial. You as a customer are not worthy enough to speak with anyone above the cs phone level. I suggest NOT buying from Ashley. No warranty and products that do not hold up. I did an online order and they would not allow me to process it with the delivery address different from billing so I proceeded the order since the delivery address is 10 minutes away and I saw delivery fee would be same. When trying to update with customer service I'm advised I need to cancel and do all over But when I try to do it it still doesn't let the address update. So you want me to reprocess with a system that won't allow me to. So I call to cancel since this is ridiculous and a waste of time and that in itself is another ordeal. Come on Ashley and I'm told if you do online order you have to have same address for billing and delivery...? So I was told to use a different card??? HORRIBLE experience. If you are thinking about buying from here - DON' T!! Purchased $10,000 worth of furniture. Paid large delivery fee in addition to purchase price. Delivered late and by the rudest delivery crew ever. They became frustrated and complained when they couldn't understand where furniture was to go. I am sorry they spoke NO English. Had to call their supervisor to translate. They broke several pieces of furniture, assembled it incorrectly, and dragged my white couch in from the street. Causing fabric to rip and stained black. Replacement pieces came and second, different crew did same thing. Sat at the Ashley store for 3 hours, till store closed, with manager trying to straighten it out. He ordered incorrect replacement pieces and had to start all over again. Several months later and we are still waiting on replacement piece for couch. Now they say it is back ordered. While the furniture is lovely the customer care service is terrible! I had a couch an end table and a mattress all delivered in one day. The bed frame had to come a different day. The sales lady assured me the furniture would all fit. So bought it all. I had the dimension for my house listing to provide her and she said yes it will fit yes so will end table. She assured me if it didn't I could return. Well the sofa is the only thing that fit along with coffee table. End table did not. I was told I could not return! That all sales were final. Thst is just crap. If I knew it wouldn't fit I wouldn't have purchased it! Not to mention the corner piece of sectional is torn on bottom. I was informed a new piece would be replaced. Also I ordered a mattress and the sheet cover was 1 sheet and it was for a queen I have a king bed. I purchased three why am I only getting 1? So after speaking with technician who installed he put a call through to let them know about it all. He said all will be taken care of Tuesday. Nothing could be done about the end table I'm just stuck with it. I got notification that Ashley's is stopping by 3 separate days!!! Why??? I was texted that Tuesday order delivery cancelled Thst Wed it was rescheduled. Why the hell are u rescheduling it without consulting me first my husband took off Tuesday to be there! So I called and then I got a text saying everything would be done on one day. No one called me to confirm. I got notification while at work Tuesday they are coming by. And then I got notification Ashley's will be stopping by on wed. It's ridiculous. All this auto texting no one wants to pick up the phone and deal with you. It's just awful. Which didn't take long because selection is sparse. If she would have walked us over and said this is what we have in the store. Got a good price on December 1st and the bad is actually trying to receive the sofa you ordered. It's been delayed four times and I've got five different answers. No one at the help desk knows anything. Couldn't even get a manager. Call me back. How pathetic. After having issues with he Pinellas Park Ashley store I went to the corporate solutions in Tampa and spoke with a very helpful person. After the store wasn't willing to work with us at all she went above and beyond to help make our buying correct and fix the issues we were having. Suggest you call them for help as she could not have been more helpful. I was reluctant to even call but glad I did in the end. She gets the excellent rating not the store. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! BEWARE! We bought a mattress with adjustable base. When the bed was delivered, the base did not work. We tried to call, but ended up texting with their call center abroad. They really didn't understand and gave us incorrect info. We then drove back to the store where our salesman announced that he was a salesman and had nothing to do with anything beyond his sale- very arrogant. We are now unable to use the bed and hopefully will get someone to answer the phone who can tell us how to program the bed - which THEY should have done. VERY POOR SERVICE read more

Walked in with not much more than an idea of what sofa shape I wanted and Naomi greeted me at the door and gave me a tour of the whole place and helped me pick out furniture for my whole house that now, I am really excited for and she got me out the door with Ashley's credit card and all furniture ordered in under an hour However I am decisive af and making decisions comes naturally to me. And btw I'm out the door under half of what I was expecting and only 14.29% of my approved credit limit The real test will be when the furniture is delivered but for now Naomi gets a 100% and so does the whole store because the presentation is excellent, nice and inviting, and the furniture is built nicely but the price point in my opinion is a win. I do not recommend Shari/Sharon at this store. If you get her, avoid her. She ordered the wrong couch when my wife went in for help and delayed delivery by a month due to her incompetence. My wife is 9 months pregnant and due any day and the couch doesn't work for our space and we have no way to find a resolution in time. My wife called Shari/Sharon and she was incredibly rude and condescending and doesn't care that she screwed over a Law Enforcement family and a pregnant woman. Came here in need of a new dresser and chest. This was the third furniture store I had visited this particular day. I was warmly greeted by Brenda and she proceeded to show me where the various bedroom sets were located throughout the showroom floor. Brenda found me a short time later and was just checking up on me. She was very helpful in answering some questions I had. I eventually found a dresser and chest that I liked and decided to move ahead with the purchase. The store happened to be having a president's day sale which afforded me a discount of like 25% off. The delivery fee was also a great price and they even had a delivery opening in as little as 3 days away. All in all a really great visit. Shortly after leaving the store I had received an email receipt complete with pictures of the pieces. I also received a text message requiring a YES reply in order to confirm the order delivery. Brenda had actually warned me about the text message and how it was important to reply as not doing so would cause delays in the delivery. I can certainly appreciate the use of technology. The furniture hasn't yet been delivered at the time of this review, but I don't anticipate any issues. If there are I'll be sure to update the review. Otherwise, I would recommend this store. Upon entering the store with my wife, we were approached by Shari. We told her of the upcoming closing on our house and our need for living room furniture. After asking us specific questions to determine our needs, we walked the showroom looking for what we needed. She took a great deal of time learning what we liked and didn't like as well as offering her opinions based on her own experiences (she's a dog owner,etc.) We identified a sectional and am entry table. We told her we'd be back after getting the measurements when we finished with our closing. Come to find, the measurements didn't work for us since the sectional we liked was too big. We went back andet with Shari, she took us around and we fell in love with the couch,end table and rug. Shari said that Jennifer is the designer and has a great talent putting the furniture together in such a way that really made the furniture collection look amazing. Buyer beware. After placing an order and promised everything was in stock, Ashley couldn't deliver, missed items, rescheduled, didn't show up, delivered broken furniture. If you call they direct you to sales and John Weiss doesn't remember you or anything you discussed. I have talked to about 5-6 different people and now have had 4 deliveries for something that was to come in one delivery. Today they showed up with 1 nightstand when they confirmed they were delivering two. Because a chair was delivered broken I now have to wait for a service person to come by and another delivery for the nightstand they missed. This company wastes your time. For the money saved I have wasted more taking time off of work waiting for them to deliver and not do it right. Additional note, there will be an exorbitant fee for delivery and assembly of the furniture and it is pretty flimsy. Spend a little extra and go to another store. Plus they tacked on a maintenance plan, I didn't want, now I cannot seem to get my money back and everyone I talk to acts like this is their first day. read more

I ordered a bedframe with a new mattress. I was told by the sales rep that I needed to purchase a foundation. When the bed was ordered, I found it was very high. The foundation put the mattress above the frame. I'm a short 61 inches. The mattress with the foundation is 39 inches high making it difficult to get in bed. I contacted Ashley the next day. I did not hear from them. I called again. Then they asked for pictures which I provided. Today I got a message that they would not refund money and would not resolve the issue of the foundation. I have shopped at Ashley for many years and like Ashley's furniture. Having the policy to not resolve an issue that was caused by the sales representative recommending the wrong product makes me less likely to ever go back there again. However, the sales person, Sharon Whisenhunt, ordered the wrong color end tables (the color did not print on the receipt only an item number or I would have known before it got here). I refused the tables and contacted the store multiple times to get the correct ones. They are polite on the phone and finally said they would have the salesperson Sharon call me. She called me the following day (this is nearly a week after the refused delivery) and said she couldn't look up my order I needed to come into the store. I said I did not understand how no one has access to the order (a lie I believe) because the customer service center can see it. I asked her to look into it and get back to me - that was 5 days ago, haven't heard. Tried calling to speak to the manager today and customer support called 3 times, said that is all they are allowed to call a store and no one answered. My HANDICAPPED Wife (SPINAL problem} purchased an ASHLEY Powered Chair to replace her old Ashley POWERED CHAIR WITH Powered Headrest. However, when the Chair was delivered, my Wife discovered the 'HEAD REST was NOT POWERED!!! The reason I'm giving Ashley Furniture one star is because of their horrible return policy. "Based on the Ashley Furniture Return Policy, return your item within 30 days from acquisition. Opened up or made use of product is not returnable." This statement came from their website. Please, every other store I purchase from will at least give you 90 days unopened and unused items. They have beautiful stuff can't deny them that but be very sure what you purchased is what you really want before opening it and take it back before the 30 days is up. I'm still going to see if they will let me return my item. It's only been 10 days after the 30-day cut off. I usually don't return large ticket but if I do I have way more time to do it in. Avoid at all costs. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, they did. 1. The movers stole hundreds in cash, however, I don't have any proof. All I can do is write a review. 2. My foot board was delivered damaged twice. The second time it was damaged, a mover said he could fix it, and proceeded to pull out a sharpie. I told him not to color in the damage. 3. Every time the movers came in to replace my furniture, they complained that I wouldn't accept the damaged furniture, or made me feel uncomfortable for wanting what I ordered. 4. I specifically requested delivery after 12:30 multiple times and far in advance, but they always wanted to show up before 12:30. 5. The movers ALWAYS left a mess for me to clean up. 6. Thank goodness I got the warranty on my furniture, because I realized that the movers drilled some screws too tight, causing my wooden chairs to break. 7. It took 1 month for my couch to be delivered. 8. 1 month after I ordered my TV stand, I got a phone call saying that they no longer make the TV stand. 9. They delivered the wrong mattress. I had to wait 30 days before I could request a new one since it's Serta, and not Ashley brand. Basically their mistake became my problem. 10. Customer service repeatedly hung up on me. If I wasn't hung up on, I would receive texts to call the wrong number. I always had to be redirected. read more

I purchased my item in store and the customer service was alright. The guy that helped me with my purchase was cool. My bedroom stuff got here on time as well. The problem came with the item and the customer service. The bed set was missing screws and one of the rails on the left side was warped. I went to the email that was sent to me to get the screws i was missing and they told me to wait 5 to 7 days for the screws with no other real option to fix this. This ended with a weak apology. I threatened to return it and they took the return. Funny thing is, I still have to wait two to four days for that as well. They could definitely do better. read more

After waiting over 2 weeks for a replacement chair, I went into the store to complain of the chair still not being exchanged, and while looking online, found out a week after I bought the chairs, they went on sale online, 21 dollars cheaper per chair. The manager of the store informed me that the 30 day price guarantee is only b4 its delivered and only online. So the chairs were delivered like 3 days after in store purchase, and that voids any price guarantee. I have purchased two complete rooms of furniture for my Illinois home and my Florida condo, and i can honestly say I will never purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley. And a word to the wise, If you shop in store, order online instead of thru the local store, as they are cheaper and they price guarantee for 30 days. read more

The sales associates are nice enough but I have had so many issues with Ashley as a whole. From the second I purchased my couch and ottoman it has been issue after issue. Delivery was the wrong configuration and late multiple times. Delivery drivers left after I told them it was wrong because they didn't want to deal with it so I had to call again and have someone else come take the couch back. I also cannot stress this enough but please DO NOT buy the protection plan. They don't cover ANYTHING and if you move outside of the county, they will not be able to replace any item and do not offer a replacement from any other store other than the one you purchased it from. Please please please save your money and do not get the protection plan. They will give you the run around as much as they can so they don't actually have to fix/replace anything. read more

All of these reviews ring true for my experience... have been sleeping on a mattress on my floor for almost a month because the salesman ordered the wrong rails for the bed frame. Customer service (when I finally got a hold of them after hours of talking to random people and getting hung up on) said they can't get my new rails to me any sooner because of the 4th of July sale. When asked for any compensation/discount for the major inconvenience I was told I could receive a gift card. As if I would ever want to deal with this place EVER again. Extraordinarily poor customer service at this Ashley HomeStore. On ordering a coffee table with a lift top, the salesperson claimed that it would be delivered fully assembled. Not only was it not fully assembled, it arrived a day earlier than promised (thus interfering with my working schedule). Contacting the store by phone was impossible (15+ minutes on hold), so had to visit the store twice to get them to promise to call back to set up an appointment for someone to complete the assembly. A day later no one had called, so went through the (as it turned out, not easy) process of assembling the coffee table. We had the worst experience at Ashely Furniture Homestore in Clearwater, FL ! We ignored warnings and deeply regret it ! We spent $1000's on furniture and 3 out of 5 pieces were damaged when delivered. Customer Service is the worst of any business ! We have spent hours on hold only to be transferred and disconnected ! The local store where we purchased will take no responsibility and claims they have no authority to offer compensation. It has been 6 weeks and no repairs or replacements have come.
