We are fine with one person saying hi and checking in, but it seems like it's a bit cutthroat over there where everyone is trying to step on everyone else's toes. Two leather electric recliner chairs were purchased and a warranty too. One chair had a significant manufacturing flaw and the warranty company sent a repairman, who said it did indeed have a flaw which he couldn't fix, which ruined the leather. After many phone calls to the warranty company, to no avail, we called Ashley Furniture and they told us they got a new warranty company the month after we bought our chairs, because our warranty company was no good. They said they're sorry, but nothing they could (our would) do. Our new electric LazyBoy leather recliners are being delivered tomorrow. We want nothing from Ashley Furniture, and would never ever buy anything from them nor recommend them; just thought people should know how pitiful they are. They are just not honest. read more

Wow. W-O-W! I do not recommend doing business with Ashley Home Furniture. I ordered a bed, nightstand, dresser, dining room table and two dining room chairs from their Kennewick store on Nov. 11. Almost $1500. I confirmed with them, at the time, that they would deliver and assemble the furniture on Black Friday, Nov. 24. I was assured that it would be delivered on that day, since they only deliver to Walla Walla on Fridays. On Tuesday of that week, I receive a text asking me to reply "YES" to lock in the delivery. I did so immediately. Response indicated that delivery was locked in and it was too late to change. On Friday morning, at 7 a.m. ... nothing. 8 a.m. ... nothing. Finally, at 9 a.m., I called its delivery service and was told that delivery had been rescheduled for the following Friday, Dec. 1. The table was holding things up. I asked to speak to a supervisor and, after being placed on hold for less than a minute, was disconnected. Tried calling the store. Not open yet. Called the CSR line back, went through the spiel again and asked to speak to a supervisor. 23 minutes of being on hold later, a supervisor answered. All she would basically say to me was that the fine print of my receipt indicated that delivery could be rescheduled for any reason by the company. I indicated that I had Nov. 24 off, but did not have Dec. 1 off and that this would cost me vacation time. Not her problem. I mentioned that Ashley had, in no way, attempted to contact me to let me know that the delivery had been rescheduled. Nothing. I mentioned that I had a business meeting on Dec. 1 and asked if the delivery could be scheduled for the afternoon. No. She had no control over the delivery time and I would not find out the four hour window until a text the day before. And then she said, "Well, if you must attend this meeting and cannot accommodate the delivery, you will have to reschedule." And that's when I came unglued. I literally said, "Ohhhhh, you did not just say that to me." And then I went off. And hung up. Got an email the Monday before Dec. 1 confirming delivery. OK, took the day off. On Tuesday before Dec. 1, I got a short call to tell me that the delivery was rescheduled to Dec. 8. Rails for the bed wouldn't be delivered in time. No appeal, no one to speak to. Done deal. Day off repealed. Today, Dec. 4, I received a voice mail telling me that my delivery has now been rescheduled to Dec. 15 "due to inclement weather and a couple of back-orders on a couple of your items." I've been sleeping on a camping cot since Nov. 22. I've been eating over the sink or at my coffee table. I am so done with this company. So, again, I would strongly recommend doing business with some -- ANY -- other company than Ashley Furniture. read more

I recognize the many poor experiences discussed here. Since my purchases in 2019, I have heard of decline from workers who quit. But my solid wood dining set I purchased is still like new. A good experience deserves a good review. Sales on floor was excellent. Delivery and set up perfect. I did not purchase any warranty but as a couple of seat back slats loosened, Ashley replaced the entire chair a year later. I felt that was superior service and plan to return for the next bedroom upgrade. Compared with other furniture stores I've shopped, Ashley seems to maintain a fair price with a quality product. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY Purchased a sectional from this store with extended warranty. Our frame broke on the sectional so we called the store to figure out how to file a claim. The company that manages the warranty sucks, and treated my wife like crap hung up on her, she wasn't rude, when she tried to follow up on a claim, after being told they would call us. After the delay due to the warranty company they told us we didn't report it soon enough. We did they just wanted a way out. The store went to upper management but nobody was willing to do anything about it. Don't waste you money on warranties it's crap. I've been dealing with this for over 3 months. I ordered a bed frame from Ashley. The headboard finally arrived after 2 months. It was damaged. It took me over a week to get ahold of them to get a replacement. When the replacement arrived I was charged again and got an overdraft fee. It took me another week to get a hold of them and they said they won't refund me for the headboard but will refund the overdraft fee. I've been waiting 2 weeks now and still don't have my money and I can't get a hold of them. I will never do business with Ashley again and I will do what ever I can to make sure no one else will either. Ashley home store is nothing but liars snakes and thieves. read more

I am not sure if I should be mad at the store or the warehouse. Either way they go hand in hand. My sales rep has since left working for Ashley furniture due to the way they conduct business. His own morals and values are higher standard. He was fantastic. However the company is crap. March 2021 I purchased over $20k to furnish my new home. I have only received 1 bedroom furniture set. Mattresses. Two dining room chairs and a bench stool for another bedroom. Everything was suppose to be here on June 17th. To be then told that July would be my dates, then into August, then into September. I canceled almost everything that was remaining with exception of dining table and sofa. Since then the dining table and chairs had attempted deliveries with parts broken, scratched, torn, and they took them all back to attempt new delivery. I am now trying to cancel the table and chairs to get the run around. They are suppose to be sending me a refund check for the 3 bedroom sets and night stands. Now I am getting the run around for the table and chairs and cannot get anyone to refund this. The management at this store, try to be nice about it, but they also seem defeated which comes out on the customers. So if this is a management problem, store problem, warehouse problem... who knows... I will not recommend them. No one should ever have to go through what we have gone through. Covid or not. If you as a management team know this is going on within your company, you as management team should be honest and tell your customers, this is not coming in vs making them feel like their money spent is being trashed on. read more

The level of incompetency across all levels of this company is truly astounding. Ordered a sectional sofa in the store mid-November, which we thought would be plenty of time to have a new sofa before Christmas. The saleslady said the parts were in stock for the configuration we wanted, so we went ahead and ordered it and set a delivery date. Easy peasey. Oh, but wait! The week before the delivery date, we were contacted multiple times to see if we wanted an earlier delivery date since the parts were supposedly in. We couldn't make that work, so we went ahead with the original delivery date. No big deal. On the day of the delivery, the local company shows up with the furniture and I tell them where the best place to park for access to load in (which is a whole other story in and of itself). They get parked, open the truck, and start going over what they're supposed to deliver. Only then did they inform us that it was only a PARTIAL delivery and that we were missing a piece. I immediately called customer service and tried to figure out what was going on. We refused delivery and started what would turn out to be a deep dive of the absolute lack of common sense and communication within this company. After getting transferred a few times (which we expected), we were told that all 3 pieces of the sectional should have been on the local delivery truck, but no one could confirm until the truck arrived back at the warehouse. We were told to call back the next day since the truck should be checked back in by then. So we did, and were told the same exact thing; the truck hasn't been checked in and no one knows where the sofa is. At this point we're a little frustrated and start to call everyone we can. FOR 5 DAYS, we were met with the same answer: "we won't know anything until the truck checks back in, I have an email out to the warehouse. I will personally follow up with you" (which they won't). When we asked why they couldn't just call the warehouse, it turns out absolutely NOBODY (even at the corporate level) has the phone number to this magical warehouse. Now, we're downright pissed. We get on the phone and start calling the numbers again and demanding supervisors. After several hours of hold music, it turns out that the missing piece is out of stock and won't be available for another month, but that they will continue to try to figure out what happened. About an hour later, they magically find the "backordered" piece, but they can't deliver it for another week. Shortly after all this, we go to the store and try to figure out a solution with their alleged "sales manager". This guy was extremely difficult to reason with and barely attempted to come up with a solution; the most he did was spend 5 minutes on the phone and say there's nothing he can do. We demanded a refund and cancelled the sale. Save yourself the time, stress, and false hope. Shop somewhere local that still believes in customer service. read more

She actively ignored her trainees when they had questions and was unable to help or even, for that matter, seem competent to run any store, much less one of that size. As it turns out, when the delivery was supposed to be made THEY RESOLD ALL OF HER FURNITURE to other people!!! Now, she's moving into her new house with almost nothing !!! My parents spent over 400 for a new chair on 9/28 and asked that the old recliner would be taken down stairs. They did but dropped it right in the walking path. When asked to move it they ignored them and ran out the door without helping. My dad is 89 and could not move it. read more

I purchased a dining table and chairs in February of 2020. I also purchased the GBS Protect All insurance protection plan. The salesman was confident that any problems with the product would be addressed promptly and easily. This has not been the case at all. By December of 2020 the dining table had sections of the top coat coming off. This was not normal "wear and tear". By April of 2021 I contacted the Ashley store and they said that the one year warranty from the store was expired. They requested photos, which I sent via email. Good thing I got the insurance, right? NOT! It took months for Ashley to send a "technician" out to review the claim. The guy that came over was actually very professional. He took pictures of the damage, that by that time had gotten worse. He told me that he would put in his report a recommendation for replacement. I was pleased. However, I didn't hear back again for months. So in November of 2021 I contacted the GBS insurance company and filed a claim online. I also called the support line and the person told me that they would request a copy of the report and pictures from the Ashley store and that there would be a response within three business days. No response... for weeks. So I contacted GBS support again in December. I was told the same thing. A copy of the report and pictures was again requested and I should have a response within five business days. Again... no response for weeks. So I contacted GBS support AGAIN in January 2022. AGIAN, I was told the same thing. A copy of the report and pictures was again requested and I should have a response within five business days. I am appalled at the poor service of both the Ashley store and the GBS insurance company. I will never buy from them again and I will tell everyone I know how much this company SUCKS! It took 3 months for our order to be delivered. Then it was wrong. Today is the 8th day and I'm still waiting for a call back after 3 different people told me that they'd contact me within 48 hours. I waited on hold for over 35 minutes to speak to a manager, but none could be reached. No one answers the phone at the store when you call. I've called, emailed, and messaged. Worst furniture buying experience I've ever experienced. Buying the item was easy enough. I was told it was stocked in the local warehouse, so the item should arrive within a week. So far so good. But it got nothing but worse from there. 1. I confirmed delivery within the week. 2. I received a call on the same day of confirmation letting me know it was a week late. Again, after confirmation of delivery. 3. On the delivery date, the delivery personnel could not get the shelves to fit, saying the shelves were wrong. Ashley apparently sublets delivery to a third party, this dropping the quality control significantly. 4. The drivers packed the item up and took it. But not without leaving a nice parting gift. THEY MANAGED TO RUN OVER MY MAILBOX. 5. After discussing issues with Ashley, I received a call and reimbursement from Ryder Moving Company (huh?) for the mailbox. Still pending. 6. A new date scheduled for a new item showed up. However, when it did, it had numerous scratches and dents all over the piece. Ashley stated they could send a technician out to fix it as long as I take the item. Ha! No. If I buy something new, I expect it to be new. 7. Rescheduled the next delivery date after talking in much frustration with customer service. 8. Again, after confirming the new date, I receive a call saying that the item is delayed and won't be delivered on the confirmed date. 9. I call. Customer service says the call was wrong and the item was to be delivered. 10. Item never showed. 11. New date scheduled. 12. Item shows up. Again, the item is damaged. Customer service asks for me to scooter the item and they can send a technician to fix it. 13. I ask for a refund. Customer service states that I have to go back to the store for the refund and they can't initiate a refund. Ashley cares about the selling of furniture, but not the delivery of their product. Worst store ever! My mom on a fixed income purchased a chair on February 10th. She paid them cash. She canceled the order on February 11th. They said she would get a refund within 48-72 hours. Then it was we have to send a check. Why she paid cash!! Here it is March 25th and still no refund. She has called and called they say hold on and I will look that up, then every time the hang up! When you call back you have to wait on hold for 20 to 30 minutes or longer to get a person. Then you have to start all over again. This has been the worst experience and very stressful. They talked an elderly lady into buying something she could not afford and no will not return her cash payment. read more

On 11/22 I only received a partial delivery. After waiting another few weeks I called to see where the rest of the order was. After extended hold times and fruitless conversations, I opted to go into the store. The office staff was incredibly rude. They informed me that my order had been cancelled and refunded to my 'Synchrony financing account", the problem was I paid cash. Following a frustrating conversation, the staff member gave me a refund for the rest of the order that I had not received. Lies, lies, lies! That's all we've heard since we paid for our table. It's been three weeks since they've promised us twice that they've already received my table at the store for pick up. Do NOT shop here! I figured the bad reviews here were possibly exaggerated, but they absolutely aren't. This place is really that bad. I rather try to figure out how to build furniture from scratch before I'd ever set foot in this store again. If you buy here, fo not walk away until you have them hand write and sign a pickup date on your receipt! My next call will be to the State Attorney General, because what they're doing is considered a breach of contract, and the very least, being deceptive. I had an amazing experience! My sales person was so personable and easy to get along with. She helped me pick out my furniture and pre decorate. I even got an interview and was hired! I was so excited to be on the sales floor. However I missed the drug test. My email told me it expired on December 18th but it apparently expired 72 hours after providing a background check. I was in Moscow for the holidays and drove two hours to CDA just for them to tell me it was expired. So that was disappointing. miscommunication there. As far as costumer service and friendliness I was pleased. I have not received my furniture yet but I loved what I picked out. Very pleased with my whole experience. read more

If I could give less than one I would. This is been a disaster that's been going on for over eight months! Sofa that was ordered in February was finally delivered in May only to have the delivery guys misassemble it making it impossible to use. After another three months waiting for a replacement I went to the store to find out that the replacement had not been ordered. The second sofa was to be delivered today between 130 and 530. My boyfriend & I's experience in the store was actually wonderful. Leonel was the sales associate that helped us & we found a beautiful living room sofa set that was perfect for our new place! Now that we have moved on to the home delivery service portion, it has been nothing but a nightmare. You will pick a day for your furniture to be delivered. However, they fail to mention all the "fine print." You cannot pick the time of when your furniture can come to your home. You will get an automated call two days before to give you a three hour window in which the trucker's route is in your city. If that time doesn't work you have to pick a completely different day, get called two days before for a new three hour window, & the process continues. Basically you could get your delivery time pushed out for weeks if are unable to be flexible to THEIR schedule. The region includes Tri-Cities, Grandview, Prosser, and Yakima - why can't the route be condensed to better accommodate customers? I called the store for more assistance multiple times for options & they have no control in helping the situation. The manager never called me as I expressed my concerns very politely to an associate over the phone. The customer service once you leave the store is extremely disappointing! Even as I'm typing this, I want to cancel the order from all the headache. We will be going to visit other small business furniture stores to make moving into a new home a much more personable experience! read more

If I could give a negative number for a review, I would! I do not recommend Ashley Home Store in Kennewick, Washington. It has been nothing but a hassle dealing with them. The list of gripes is way too long to list. Just know that it took 7 months to get my items! I was told 6-8 weeks. If you want to talk to someone at the store, you have to go in because no one answers the phone. They say they will do something and they don't. Ironically, I did business with a furniture store in Grandview and Richland at the same time; what a difference! We needed furniture! Drove to BBC them because our kids had just purchased from them. The staff said the furniture was in stock and would be delivered in 2 weeks. 2 days before delivery we get a phone call saying not this week. They did the same to our kids. When she called to verify THAT person told her it would be SEPTEMBER (hers was supposed to be in JUNE). I looked up reviews and this has been a trend with them for years! NOT just during the Covid19 crisis. We bought with our credit card so we were able to dispute. It was credited back. My husband and I went out to look for a TV stand and we ended up finding one here that we liked, the associate was kind to us but didn't mention that it would take over a month for us to get our furniture. We had the date set up and a day or two before they called and told us that they could not deliver that day and that it would be delivered 4 days later. The guys get here this morning and carry it through the door and set it down and I notice that theres pieces missing. The shelf in the middle is missing and that's the whole reason we got this one so now we have to wait who knows how long for them to ship us the pieces that are missing. read more

I'm calling their corporate office now to make sure my refund is issued to me ASAP. I'm also going to tell them how poorly this store is run. Horrible customer service and they employ a bunch of liars. They lied about the price of the couch, they lied about the delivery date, and they lied about giving me a refund. I am beyond disgusted by them and their employees. Update: Was told by corporate that I have to wait another two weeks for my $2100 to refunded. My fiancé is going to call them on my behalf and try to get my refund faster. If not I'm planning on calling the better business bureau on them.
