    Three weeks after delivery I am still waiting for my furniture to be assembled together. The company keeps insisting my phone number is wrong on the account and they have no record of me calling them when I did call almost every three days, because I let them resolve the issue every 72 hours which I was told to do. Further action will be taken to the company if this issue is not completed for incompleteness of a product provided by a company that the customer, myself, paid for and yet not received services. My mom and I have been calling nonstop with Ashley Furniture HomeStore to assemble this last piece of furniture that the movers refused to put together based upon delivery. As of today, my mom called them again as they promised to call us back within 24 hours, the woman was brutally honest that Ashley Furniture HomeStore will not be coming out to put this together and will not be holding any responsibility. I was told that I would get a refund of $1,100 for my delivery fee, but instead I get $100. Any advice how to take action against the company or even legal advice for not doing their service for the customer, myself, that I paid for. Blow this up to Ashley Furniture HomeStore, because they are not the #1 Mattress and Furniture Store they claim to be.

    Home delivery requirement is a total rip off. Customer service reps are totally useless.

After working with the district manager, he was able to make things right and offer better compensation for lost time and inconvenience. I felt, in the end, everybody really tried to make things right after everything that happened, and I truly want to believe they mean well and that things like this wouldn't happen again. I feel more confident in their resolutions, but only time will tell if something like this may happen again. If it does, however, I know the company will be there to try to make it right. My advice? Feel free to use them (they ARE friendly and truly want to help), but maybe not if you're on a time crunch. I am moving, and I had ordered a bed and several accessories (several thousands of dollars in purchases) on the 9th of August and was told it would arrive the 18th of August (just a few days before school begins for me, which was perfect). Well, the 18th rolls around and we haven't heard a word from MattressFirm, so we reach out. Turns out they made a mistake in the shipment of the bed and wouldn't have it to me until the 23rd. This move had been a huge hassle to begin with, and this has just made everything that much more of a trainwreck. The I had to call family to wait around for the bed at my apartment because I would be in class by that point and unable to intercept the delivery. For the hassle they caused, I was only offered a cheap mattress and frame to use in the interim (calling it a "bed" would be laughable). They tried to make it sound like they were doing me a favor in providing this, despite how cheap it is. I was better off getting an inflatable mattress to use from Meijer. After all this, I call them back a few days after my mattress had been delivered (they said they'd have their manager reach out to me, but he never did), and yet I'm still getting all these emails saying "you didn't rate us yet!", so I submitted one saying I wasn't satisfied, and I got a call from another manager from a different store. On top of all this, two pillows I ordered were supposedly coming from the manufacturer and have apparently been "in-transit" for almost a month now. He offered to refund the price of the pillows (about $200) and an additional small refund for the inconvenience (another $200). Considering the price we've doled out for everything (over $4,000) and having to have gone without almost all of it for almost 2 weeks now, I could hardly call this a professional business setting. I understand some of the staff I dealt with seem to be trying, but just "trying" does not make a company an excellent business establishment. I cannot in good faith recommend this company, and will be telling my friends and acquaintances to avoid using Mattress Firm going forward.

There's soooo many to pick from, from so many options. I was getting pissed and overwhelmed. I checked out every store in Rockford, even Ikea (their mattresses are really really firm, if you like that). I looked at and watched videos on all the bed in a box brands on the interwebs, but the artificial reviews got annoying. I went here since they are local, made with quality materials. I was impressed, thought all their beds were comfortable, but had filling support. I got the Easy Rest, I have owned it for almost a month, and it's been a vast improvement over what I have been sleeping in. Really cheap delivery and removal of mattress ($40). Also, shopping was hassle free. I hate hovering sales people, makes me nervous. You won't get that here. The sales lady was really informed, and leaves you alone to test out. I am so happy with my mattress! I haven't slept this good in sooooo long. It's like sleeping in a supportive cloud!

    I wish I had better to say about my shopping experience…read more... It began with the salesperson giving me a very incorrect delivery time and took 10 weeks for delivery. Since they do not do removal I had thrown my old furniture to the curb the night before. When furniture arrived the next day, both couch and loveseat had defects. The center console top on the loveseat was completely crooked and would not close. The couch had an end cap falling off and they tried to ignore they even saw it while installing. If they would have said "There is damage and we need to fix or replace it" as they were setting it up, I would not have needed to return it. The installers tried to ignore it was a problem and get out the door before I could even see it... I have lost 10 weeks, trust in Bobs, and my original furniture, but now have an order from Ashley Furniture and maybe soon I can finally throw out the folding chairs in my living room... Thanks Bob

    Just filed complaint with BBB. Bought furniture delivered in Feb 2026. Not out together correctly…read morebecause was broken to start. Said they replace. June 13th delivery came to exchange. They threw new furnture out back truck onto pavement in street. Cut cloth on new furniture with bix cutter! Broke my vent cover. Left my home in disarray! Had miss work for this! Reschedule another delivery for today. Received call 2 hours before delivery tell me same unprofessional men coming to my home. Want to reschedule again 3rd time for me to miss work. Never paid for damages from. June 13th. Told via text I should pay for the damages! Said they credit my account - lie! Told me i had deal with credit company if i rerurn all together! Bobs already been paid! Ive paid credit company $725 already! Lie after lie after lie! I have video of June 13th! I am in disbelief of the games ansld run around ive recieved! Never ever do business here! Im going end up in court over this becauae i will not pay for broken furniture and continue to miss work! ​​

Fast forward a year and a half later, and when an issue came up with my recliner, I quickly learned that warranty means absolutely nothing. First, I called the store and was bounced to corporate. Corporate then sent me to Ashley Furniture Industries, who then pushed me off to a third-party repair company they farm their warranty work out to. That company scheduled an appointment and told me I had to be available between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM and keep in mind I scheduled it four weeks out. At 1:30 PM, they called to say they were running 30 minutes late. Now, 45 minutes after the latest promised arrival time, they still haven't shown up. When I contacted Slumberland, all I got was an apology and "we've never heard this before." That response is unacceptable when YOU are the company selling the warranty and taking customers' money. The reality is Slumberland is making a profit off these warranties while outsourcing the responsibility to a garbage third-party company based out of Florida that clearly has no respect for customers' time. My advice: don't just walk away from the warranty -- run away from it. And honestly, think twice about doing business with Slumberland as a whole if they refuse to stand behind the companies they choose to partner with.

The delivery was made on time and the delivery guys (3) were so nice and personable, loved them. We have bought from this store before and definitely will again.
