    For the first time in my life, I bought a brand new couch from this store. 1 year later, the seams are splitting everywhere. I would rather have spent less money at IKEA and probably would have last longer. Poor craftsmanship and made with cheap materials.

    We purchased a Leather Recliner Couch & Recliner Chair which delivered on May 5th. The salesperson told us it was leather, we have since discovered it was "bonded". As she was in her first month there, we assume she was not well educated on the products. Within @6 weeks, the "leather" started sagging and piling. There were also several threads coming apart in the seams. I contacted the Salesperson on June 29th, explained the concerns and submitted pictures. She started a Claim advising that they would send an Inspector to our Home. She stated that she personally was so sorry this happened and she agreed it was unreasonable. We waited a month for the Inspector who inspected our furniture on July 29th. We were fairly confident this issue would be taken care of, we had purchased their 5 year additional extended Warranty. He was very nice and had been in the furniture Business for 40+ years, extremely knowledgeable in construction, etc. He advised us that unfortunately, Ashley doesn't normally do any returns and they consider this "normal wear and tear ", unbelievable!! He stated if they were to replace it, we'd have exactly the same issues due to the "leather " they use and the way the furniture is constructed. We were initially willing to exchange these pieces for Dura-Pella, which our Salesperson guaranteed they would not have the same issues. We were in constant contact with the Salesperson via text (saved them all) keeping her informed of status. She advised we contact the Manager, Rodney. To our pleasant surprise, Rodney called on August 8th, said not to worry and that he was going to take care of our situation. He said he was going to contact the Regional Manager the next day and send pictures that we had submitted. He said to expect a call from him within a few days. After a week of no call, I again contacted the Salesperson on August 10th, who advised that the Regional Manager was in Meetings in Wisconsin, Rodney told her they'd discuss our situation when he returned over the weekend. Once again, we did not hear from Rodney. I called the Store and left a message for him to call me and asked the Receptionist to let him know I'd been waiting to hear back from him for weeks. This was on 8/20, he did not return the call. At this point, we will not accept an exchange, we will accept a full credit to our CC Account. We feel like this was very deceptive, misleading, misrepresentation of the products (not leather!!). The furniture in the Showroom looks NOTHING like the furniture we received. Attached are Showroom pictures as well as our furniture less than 60' days old!! There is no Customer Service and lack of response from the Store Manager shows a total lack of taking care of Customers or caring for needs. Do what you say you're going to do when you say you're going to do it!!! We will never shop at Ashley Furniture again and will tell everyone we know to beware!! Shame on Ashley Furniture in Silverdale, WA. On to our next steps, we are not going to sit still and accept this situation.

    Television Stand With Insert

    Purchased a television stand from this Silverdale, WA store with a fireplace insert. They gladly sold us both pieces. They neglect to tell you the insert is from a third party and they don't back those products. Now after just a few months the fake wood insert, which is sealed and you can't touch it, is cracking and separating. I thought it would be evident to Ashley that it could not be something a human could do and they would call that third party vendor, because the wood sits in a sealed glass enclosure. But evidently not. They will not stand behind their products. Nowhere in anything you sign when you buy this type of thing, does it say you accept the item from a third party at your own risk. So when this happened, and it's clearly nothing we did, I called the store and asked if they would back their product and help us to get a new one. This is how this went. I spoke to a girl on Saturday, that answered the phone and said she would escalate it to a higher up, and call me back same day. She did not. I called back again a few days later after I didn't hear from her. She said basically sorry you are out of luck. No one called to talk to me. No one cared. I got a hold of the "office manager" on Monday, who was very rude and didn't offer any help at all. Basically saying they won't stand behind their products no matter what from third parties. Didn't offer to call the vendor to help. Just didn't care. Rudest person I have ever spoken to on the phone at a store. We will escalate this and take legal action if we have to. It's just sad that this store would not offer any assistance or help. I would not recommend buying from this store. They only want your money. But when you have an issue, they won't help you. Shop elsewhere. The manager won't even bother to call you back. For my family and everyone I can talk to, we will NOT be buying from this store.

    I am done with this Ashley furniture, my in-laws came to visit and stayed with us for 2 weeks and they notice my recliner was not work properly and felt bad for me. So they wanted to surprise me with a new updated recliner. We waited for a week for it to come in. We got the phone call and confirm with us that it will be delivered in a week. I was excited and hope they could follow through. Hoping to see if they got there sh!T together and got better with there warehouse items, orders and delivery. IT GOT WORST not better. They called back say it supposed to be in the warehouse and ready for delivery but it didn't even reach the warehouse yet. They rescheduled it for another week. I told my family to cancel it , they failed once again. My wife said let just see how it goes and that she will be checking in with them everyday. 3 day in a roll they confirm and promise that it in the warehouse and being ready to be delivered. On the 4th day they said it didn't come in and need to reschedule the delivery. She canceled the order and ask for the refund the lady on the phone that she be talking to for 3 weeks since we bought the recliner now saying that they can't cancel the order and wait til the end of the week. How the hell you can't cancel a order when we never even got the item delivered and not even at the warehouse to get delivered. My advise to everyone in kitsap area. Don't go to them. Find a local own business furniture store or one that have item in stock like Costco.

Paid extra for new boxsprings to be set up and take away our old boxsprings. Great, easy peasy, so I thought. Delivery comes and delivery guys say the boxsprings don't fit after they have pulled our bed apart, they're too big. Jensen- you ordered the wrong size when you had the previous size mattress right in front of you on your tablet. Wait there's more, It gets even better! I come home and my husband says the front door was left wide open by these delivery guys when they left, he was upstairs when they left and he wasn't happy when he went downstairs and found our front door wide open. Who leaves a customers front door wide open when they leave-Mattress Firm delivery guys do! Then I go upstairs to our bedroom and I can't believe they didn't put our bed back together, mattress is on its side, old boxsprings are standing against the wall, they left our bed torn apart, a complete mess. If my husband and son weren't home this night I would have never been able to put the bed back together by myself. We decided to cancel the entire order and will buy new box springs somewhere else. The way our bedroom was left did it for me, not what I expected when I got home from a long day. Complete waste of time! Tanner was great on the phone and refunded the entire amount! Thank you Tanner. Sorry it didn't work out too, was such an easy sale. I really hope Mattress Firm trains these 2 delivery guys in customer service on what not to do and do in a customers home! Then there's Jensen, if only he had ordered the correct size I wouldn't be writing about this terrible experience!

Penny addressed all of my concerns and cleared up the multiple levels of failure I experienced. Penny was generous enough to refund my bed frame and offer to come pick up my old box spring. Penny's phone call went a long way to make my concerns feel heard, understood and resolved. While I did encounter some setbacks from my initial shopping experience, after talking to Penny I will be giving Mattress Firm another chance the next I need a new mattress. I am now a happy customer sleeping on a very comfortable new mattress. I am getting a better nights sleep and experiencing less back pain. Thank you Penny!

I called the local store where I bought it (Silverdale, WA) and they said they couldn't help me, that I needed to try the main company customer service number. I called and called over a period of weeks, many times, languished on hold each time for what seemed like forever, and in the end never succeeded in getting a single live human to answer the phone to help me. I finally gave up and opted to trash my bed and replace it with a high quality but old school mattress (meaning: one that does not plug in, has no moving parts or tech that can fail), that would not give me such agita, and I am much happier with it. Long story short, if you value your time, money, or peace of mind, look elsewhere. This company offers ZERO customer service on a very overpriced, unreliable product.

Today comes and they start setting up our table then tell us that they can't deliver the bench "because they forgot screws". Now I've been on hold for 45 minutes trying to get answers about the bench that paid all $600 for and still no answers or seating for my family. Lesson learned. Don't buy from Macys. It's a joke and in the end you're the fool left dealing with the mess they make and trying to get the money they stole from you. Update: After an hour on the phone we finally got them to agree to redeliver the bench so that we can just go out and buy our own screws instead of waiting god knows how long for the bench to come back in stock. What do we get for all of this? A $100 credit. We paid for "white glove delivery" and instead we're having to go out and purchase parts that should have been included just so that we can get the furniture we paid for. What a scam!

I've always thought I had relatively good design sense. But after a year-and-a-half of lock-down and working from home, I felt the place was looking a little blah.  But I'd been procrastinating.  On a whim one Saturday, I walked into Seldens and met Christine. I explained what I'd been thinking, and she got it immediately. She asked a lot of questions and took the time to get to know what I like and don't like. I appreciated that she listened and worked with me to propose a range of solutions that seemed to work for me and helped me prioritize what would give me the most "bang for the buck".   She didn't propose a radical makeover but rather a smart choice of options that had the impact. And she was able share examples from other projects she'd completed so I could see how some of the ideas she was suggesting would look in my place. I went from hesitant to excited, and I can hardly wait for everything to get the first phase of my spruce-up project implemented.  I started out thinking I didn't really need a designer per se.
