This store has always done right by me. We paid for an order pre-Covid crisis and Ashley and their new manager rolled with it and got us our two sleeper sofas exactly when we needed them. This wasn't as easy as it sounds. We were amid construction that kept getting delayed due to the pandemic and they were always polite, professional, understanding and good natured about our changes. Furthermore, we had a very tricky install and their furniture delivery guys didn't give up on us. Any other furniture company would have thrown their hands up, quit and returned to the store. Not Ashley. Their guys looked at our layout, came up with a creative solution and managed to safely get our heavy, cumbersome sleeper sofa to a top level loft that posed some major challenges. In a cancel culture world where people are quick to complain and raise cain about things not going exactly as planned I wanted to make sure everyone knew that Ashley and their staff went so far above and beyond what we would have thought of as normal service that we were simply blown away. We can't thank them enough. They saved a family get together and our new loft furnishings. A GIANT thank you to the entire Silverdale team. What a horrible Experience! Don't ever try to return anything to this store! Don't believe anything the sales people tell you. This is a very dishonorable business. I purchased a King size bed and power bases on 1/2/26. I had them delivered to my home on 1/9/26. They were not set up or even taken out of their boxes or packaging. On 1/11/26 I called Ashley to arrange a return of the items. The office manager, Linda said I can not return them because I signed the digital tablet that I accepted the delivery. Ashley's policy is no exchange and no returns. (I was not told about this policy by Reed (The Tie Guy) who sold me the complete bed, and did not receive a document saying anything about this policy.) The delivery people don't even leave you a slip of paper so you know what you signed! "It will come by email." NOPE. I am foolish for believing people and businesses at their word. I am about to have a serious spine surgery, so a week ago, my husband and I went in to Ashley Store in Silverdale, WA, to find a new bed, with adjustable bases. We needed to finance the bed. The sales person, Reed "The Tie Guy" told us we could afford the one we wanted on credit if we each applied for two separate credit accounts, and he split the King bed purchase onto two accounts. First mistake as it turns out. Not only can we not return something unopened and unused two days after receiving it, we had to pay double the $99.99 delivery fee. Linda, the office manager very rudely pointed out that this was because there are two separate sale slips. The more I tried to reason with her the ruder she became. The only reason we are returning the product is because we were mislead in thinking that the mattress protectors were part of purchasing the mattresses. "The Tie Guy" went on and on about how we could exchange the mattresses after 30 days of trying them - however this only applies if you purchase separate mattress protectors. When I received the mattresses, there were no mattress protectors as I had expected. I called the store to ask, and Reed said you buy them separately. He apologized for implying that they were included. When we ordered the bed , we said we wanted the complete setup that was on the floor and the warranty. He also failed to tell us about the protection plans we could have purchased, saying only that the warranties ride with the manufacturers. Now I can't get the comfort warranty because I didn't buy the mattress protectors at the same time as the split King bed. -Even though this was falsely implied as being included, I was happy to buy them now . It seemed fair to me since the bed wasn't out of its packaging yet. And, now I can't get the protection plan warranties because I didn't know about them from the sales person who mistakenly said Ashley didn't provide additional warranties. All I wanted was to buy this high quality Stearns and Foster $15,000 bed with adjustable bases. I wanted to protect my investment well with warranties and survive my surgery as best as possible and reduce the pain I am guaranteed to have. Ashley is obviously only concerned about ripping people off. They don't care about long term customers or satisfied customers. Too bad for Reed "The Tie Guy" who has only been working there a month. I guess he is too new still. Stupid me, I trusted he was selling their product correctly. He never told us all sales were final. On the contrary, he kept saying we could exchange in 30 days if not comfortable!! False representation of their product and policies by failing to point out the policies correctly, and falsely claiming what comes with the product. Then, failing to remedy the situation and own up to their own agreements offered, by allowing a long time customer to still pay for those opportunities, is more misrepresentation and horrible customer service. They definitely pulled the blanket over my eyes! I will NEVER shop here again. Buyer beware. Drill your salesperson. Don't blindly sign a tablet without reading all the tiny print, as it often contradicts the cool stuff the salesperson at Ashley store tells you. Zero stars. read more

I tried to refuse the delivery and the delivery guy said he couldn't and that I had 72 hours to call the store. We called the store and was told you can't refuse a delivery that it isn't their policy. So now I am stuck with a table that is too big for my space. Our salesman WAS in the store, but he was with someone -- probably selling them something that's out of stock, too. The greeter at the door KNEW we were unhappy and he KNEW we wanted to chat with Greydon. NOONE, as far as I know, told him we were there, and even while we were sitting waiting, he walked by us twice, didn't look at us, no eye contact, nuthin. Guess he'd "made the sale" and was no longer our best friend. When we finally walked up to the counter, we had decided we'd just cancel the order. The gal at the counter said, "Ok, do you have your paperwork and the original credit card you paid with?" We did...but that was it...not a "gee, I'm sorry," or "can we do anything to make things better?" It's like fine...customer wants to cancel, we'll just do the paperwork and get them out here. At the same time they are PREACHING excellent customer service, the customer only seems to be important before/during the sale. Most disappointing, and I'm only sorry that I can't do more to let others know what sort of rabbit hole they may be getting themselves into. I certainly empathize with the supply chain issue, and our "gal" did say that the warehouse doesn't update their inventory as quick as they wished they did. Everyone told me not to buy here because their customer service is the worst in the world! But, It was the only place I could buy two specific piece I wanted to make my life easier because I was going to have surgery. Well, all my friends were right. I am kicking myself of course. I ordered two pieces that took me about 4 hours of searching on. That was supposed to be in stock and could be delivered before my surgery which would be in 3 wks. My wonderful sales person (David) worked very hard as we went through the whole store looking for pieces that would work for me and would be delivered on time. I schedule my day off for delivery date. They were good about notifying me about delivery and time. Delivery comes and they only have 1 of my 2 pieces, ask them where the other is... they don't know they are just delivery people. I call Ashley's which in itself is a hassle as you have to go through customer service for all of Ashley's. No one speaks proper English, she was Hispanic with a heavy accent. (sorry if that offends but I could not understand 1 word from the first person I talked too, had to call again to get someone I could understand). You have to answer all kinds of questions about why you want to talk to that Ashley's store. What the hell? Why can not just call the store I want to and talk to someone, without going through 40 questions? Anyway, I talk to another sales person finally (Andrew) because my sales person was off today. Andrew is very nice and tries to help me but says what he found out is my 2nd piece is now delayed a month because they over booked the truck and the only other piece they have in warehouse is scratched. (well glad they didn't send me that one.) But how the heck do you over book a truck? You don't know how much your trucks can carry? We purchased a Leather Recliner Couch & Recliner Chair which delivered on May 5th. The salesperson told us it was leather, we have since discovered it was "bonded". As she was in her first month there, we assume she was not well educated on the products. Within @6 weeks, the "leather" started sagging and piling. There were also several threads coming apart in the seams. I contacted the Salesperson on June 29th, explained the concerns and submitted pictures. She started a Claim advising that they would send an Inspector to our Home. She stated that she personally was so sorry this happened and she agreed it was unreasonable. We waited a month for the Inspector who inspected our furniture on July 29th. We were fairly confident this issue would be taken care of, we had purchased their 5 year additional extended Warranty. He was very nice and had been in the furniture Business for 40+ years, extremely knowledgeable in construction, etc. He advised us that unfortunately, Ashley doesn't normally do any returns and they consider this "normal wear and tear ", unbelievable!! He stated if they were to replace it, we'd have exactly the same issues due to the "leather " they use and the way the furniture is constructed. We were initially willing to exchange these pieces for Dura-Pella, which our Salesperson guaranteed they would not have the same issues. We were in constant contact with the Salesperson via text (saved them all) keeping her informed of status. She advised we contact the Manager, Rodney. To our pleasant surprise, Rodney called on August 8th, said not to worry and that he was going to take care of our situation. He said he was going to contact the Regional Manager the next day and send pictures that we had submitted. He said to expect a call from him within a few days. After a week of no call, I again contacted the Salesperson on August 10th, who advised that the Regional Manager was in Meetings in Wisconsin, Rodney told her they'd discuss our situation when he returned over the weekend. Once again, we did not hear from Rodney. I called the Store and left a message for him to call me and asked the Receptionist to let him know I'd been waiting to hear back from him for weeks. This was on 8/20, he did not return the call. At this point, we will not accept an exchange, we will accept a full credit to our CC Account. We feel like this was very deceptive, misleading, misrepresentation of the products (not leather!!). The furniture in the Showroom looks NOTHING like the furniture we received. Attached are Showroom pictures as well as our furniture less than 60' days old!! There is no Customer Service and lack of response from the Store Manager shows a total lack of taking care of Customers or caring for needs. Do what you say you're going to do when you say you're going to do it!!! We will never shop at Ashley Furniture again and will tell everyone we know to beware!! Purchased a television stand from this Silverdale, WA store with a fireplace insert. They gladly sold us both pieces. They neglect to tell you the insert is from a third party and they don't back those products. Now after just a few months the fake wood insert, which is sealed and you can't touch it, is cracking and separating. I thought it would be evident to Ashley that it could not be something a human could do and they would call that third party vendor, because the wood sits in a sealed glass enclosure. But evidently not. They will not stand behind their products. Nowhere in anything you sign when you buy this type of thing, does it say you accept the item from a third party at your own risk. So when this happened, and it's clearly nothing we did, I called the store and asked if they would back their product and help us to get a new one. This is how this went. I spoke to a girl on Saturday, that answered the phone and said she would escalate it to a higher up, and call me back same day. She did not. I called back again a few days later after I didn't hear from her. She said basically sorry you are out of luck. No one called to talk to me. No one cared. I got a hold of the "office manager" on Monday, who was very rude and didn't offer any help at all. Basically saying they won't stand behind their products no matter what from third parties. Didn't offer to call the vendor to help. Just didn't care. Rudest person I have ever spoken to on the phone at a store. We will escalate this and take legal action if we have to. It's just sad that this store would not offer any assistance or help. I would not recommend buying from this store. They only want your money. But when you have an issue, they won't help you. I made an online purchase after seeing it in store in DECEMBER 2021. My family was in a middle of a big move and decided it would be easier to make the transaction online since we had already seen the bed in person. Sounds simple right?! WRONG! We're sitting in MAY 2022 AND STILL NO BED!! WTF!! First, when making the purchase online, the money transaction, instead of deducting the money from my card, it's a PENDING transaction for weeks and then put back into my account and then pulled back out and then back in again...this seesaw transaction is going to happen until they actually deliver! An inconvenience and really a bad way to handle a big money transaction. I am done with this Ashley furniture, my in-laws came to visit and stayed with us for 2 weeks and they notice my recliner was not work properly and felt bad for me. So they wanted to surprise me with a new updated recliner. We waited for a week for it to come in. We got the phone call and confirm with us that it will be delivered in a week. It's unfortunate how unprofessional and disorganized this company is. Unprofessional because Sales Associates will give you an unrealistic time line of when items will be in stock or delivered to your home. My issue with this is they can clearly see it will need to be back ordered or won't arrive for months on end. This is EVEN if it shows the item is in stock and will be delivered at soonest delivery date. Disorganized because why would you send confirmation emails that the items are set to be delivered at a certain date just to cancel less than 24 hours ahead of time. Upon delivery the crew proceeded to leave the unopened boxes about 20 feet from our front door, and 10 feet from our 10-deep covered porch. One of the end tables was never delivered and after 6 months of trying - we were informed that it was discontinued. . . . even though it was still on the sales floor. My better half decided to surprise me with a new dining room table and chairs. They delivered them and we paid to have it set up, but there was no screws or bolts to put it together. We have been informed that we have to wait 6 to 9 months to get them! They are also refusing to take the table back. Bad customer service in the store, but purchased 2 barstools and the sales person said they would be delivered the same week. He scheduled a day for us to be available at home. He said I would receive texts and updates of my delivery a couple of days prior delivery. I got nothing. Checked the website to track my order and my order was NOT found. Used my phone number, the order number and my order couldn't be found. Called the customer service and I got through all the options to be able to track the order and still my order was not found. A lot of negative reviews on here lately, so I wanted to share a positive. My husband and I went shopping for a new couch last Friday night. We found one that fit our needs that was in stock and marked as Fast Delivery. The sales associate working was helpful but never pushy. We went back the following day to purchase after making sure the measurements would work for us. We just accepted the delivery today (5 days later), and the delivery was quick and efficient. We could have had delivery yesterday, but we were able to request a day later to accommodate our own schedule. I don't recommend going here. Here is my story or should I say nightmare dealing with this store and company: I bought 4K worth of furniture from this store. I received a text on Tuesday that my furniture would be delivered between 8am-noon (please see photo). After wasting my entire morning and afternoon waiting for them, I decided to call when 1230 came and went. They said "oh no your delivery is from 3p to 7p". I explained I got a text and they said "that's weird I don't know how that happened someone must have made a mistake". Ok no big deal, I'll wait. 3pm shows up and I get a knock on my door. No introduction telling me who he is there, there is no truck in my driveway. I ask can I help you? And he says "delivery". He then proceeds to tell me his truck can't get up my driveway. They never even attempted to get up my driveway. I said ok then drive up as far as you can and I'll load it in my pick up. He says no. I tell him it's not an option I paid for this and a delivery. The driver goes half way up my driveway then stops even though there is no reason to stop and they refuse to to further. I'm already tired of the rude and unprofessional behavior and don't feel like arguing so I get my truck and one guy helps load it in my truck then helps me move it into my house. The other guy just stayed in truck texting on phone. They tell me "no install" even though I paid for it. I said whatever that's fine I'll do it myself. Well they forgot to deliver the feet on back of headboard so now I can't even put the bed together. I call and am told "oh it will be about 3 weeks to get these parts". I then call the store and talk to a manger who apologizes and says he will waive the delivery fee. He says it's Friday so he can't do much but he will be in on Monday and call me. Monday comes by, no call. At 1pm I call and am told "oh he's not in yet, I'll have him call you" an hour later same guy calls back and says he won't be in today but he will look into and call me before close. No phone call. There was no weather preventing delivery, no accidents, the product was in the warehouse. Other classic lines from my call with Linda: "You are now dealing with a corporation" "We cannot do anything about the delivery date" "We can only deliver on Wednesdays, and we do not have in-store pick up, you can only pick up in Tacoma. How do I post a zero or negative number!! Well we gave them a second chance after getting a phone call from the manager. Went in, bought what we wanted, he made it real simple....and all was good....until! The 2 year old couch is in our den and the only time we use it (2 adults) is watching a movie or football - we have a separate living room. So put the recliner up and a board literally fell off the couch. No big deal, the manager told us the warranty had changed over the years and covered everything....lie! Spoke to Montage and they don't cover it. Now if my dog chewed it up, the fabric is stained or was torn, we are good - but the actual furniture isn't covered. Went back to Ashley and they said sorry, but we don't use Montage anymore and you need to go through them. Obviously I already tried!!! The lady at Ashley was the only shining star - she took my info and said she would figure it out and call me on Monday. I might get a percentage of my money back. This is the worst store I've ever dealt with. April : we ordered 3 pieces of furniture and were told that they would be delivered within 6 weeks. Great. May: no word. Called and asked for estimates delivery. They said June 1. June: no word. Can't get them on the phone. July: our furniture has been delayed (mind you, we were told it was at the local warehouse). August : gets a call to schedule delivery day for august 24. We say yes ! August 10: one of our pieces is delayed, fine. But bring the rest. August 23: confirmed delivery for 2 pieces. It's not just the store but the entire Ashley operations that is disorganized and disinterested in customers. The sales guy told us the cabinet we wanted was in stock and at the warehouse. The date has been pushed 4 times and counting. How could this happen? Either the sales guy lied or something is systematically wrong with their ERP tools. I regretted my purchase within 2 days of delivery. The fusions are so skimpy in materials that I can fit both of my hands through both sides of the cushions when I am sitting. Moving to Poulsbo, WA the Ashley Furniture Store in Silverdale is one of a very few choices for purchase of furniture. Beware: walking in you will like the merchandise and prices. Easy to place your order with promises to have furniture to your house in days. NOT SO FAST: The people at the store may not be lying to you but they don't control Ashley nor delivery. I had a terrible experience. Bought $2,000 several pieces. Only a few of the items were delivered - one was broken. I paid for all of the pieces on my Discover card. I have been spending hours on the phone and on line trying to get a refund for furniture I did not get -- having to dispute with Discover. Ashley tells me they haven't charged me until delivered but it's a full charge on my charge card. Also I bought one piece online. Like a whole different company handles online from in store purchases. That item was sent Fed X and arrived broken. After long phone calls they said they would credit my card. The "credit" has been reported on Discover as a "charge not a credit" so I have been charged twice for one broken item. Thank God for Discover's willingness to handle disputes. So enjoy the low prices but know they come at a cost. Hope you are retired like me so you can spent part of everyday trying to get your money back. read more

I bought a new chair in Oct. 2020 received it in January 2021, 3days later the recliner was stuck in the up position. Called in to customer service, hours on the phone, they sent a tech out 6 weeks later, he took one look and a picture and said he could not fix and he would order parts to be sent to my house. Then I would need to call for his return. I was to get an email confirmation, never did. Called and waited on the phone again, got the same leave your number we will call back in 48 hours,Ya right. Chatted and I got a part order that is out until end of May or first of June to ship. This is from February now. Getting help is ridiculous.Customer service is horrible from the store and there customer service dept. I am still waiting for a call back from the store. I would not recommend buying anything from Ashley!!!!!!! read more

We recently bought a double recliner loveseat from Ashley and worked with Rachael, at the Silverdale store, who was absolutely fantastic. We love the new recliners and Rachael was both personable and professional. We had great communication in person and by text and the order could not have gone more smoothly. Once ordered and a date was set for delivery, we were given the option to have the piece of furniture rescheduled for an earlier delivery which was perfect. Again, great communication with the delivery people, they arrived on time, set the love seat up and they were on their way. We could not have asked for a better experience! read more

I have waited 5 MONTHS to get my dining room table. I still haven't gotten the table. I have called customer service multiple times. Each time I have called it has taken the contact center 15 minutes to get connected to the store. A week ago my husband went into the store and spoke to the store manager Ray Honne. He told my husband he was going to give him a call back about purchasing the floor model and giving us a store credit about another piece of furniture we purchased. It has been a week, no call back or follow up. Talk about lack of customer service. I am not impressed with the service. My advice do not buy anything from Ashley's that is back ordered. You will never get your furniture! It's pretty sad that I have to go on yelp to review. I guarantee I won't get a follow up on my review. I wish there was a zero star option. Worse service... ever!!! Don't buy furniture from here. They don't fulfill what they say. They just want to make their sales quota! read more

The store visit was great, nothing to complain about at the initial visit. Purchased $2500.00 worth of items, my plan was to begin a phase replacement of my home furniture at Ashley's but that train was derailed after the first rescheduling of my items. First Order was October, with delivery on November 6th, deliver was a no show, and when I called to find out what was up, the agent cancelled my order. Went to the store to fix issue, they had to reorder with with a new delivery date of November 21, I called the store to verify the delivery was on track and I got a "yes" from sales coordinator Ronnie. Waited at my house from 2pm -6pm, no delivery. Went to the store to find out what was up, store called warehouse, warehouse said goods were not on the manifest. I spoke with Haley at first, she was rude and dismissive, asked to speak to a supervisor I was told "he would offer you the same responses I've given you, finally transferred and Spoke to Rob, a supervisor. Rob said he can't get my goods to me that night and offered me Monday the 26th. I accepted, spoke with the store and warehouse and all agreed that Monday was a go. I called on Monday to verify my order would be there, I was told that the earliest I could see my goods was the 6th, the 9th, and the 17 of December. I cancelled my order, very disappointed in the service and coordination. I will never return to this store without the proper motivation of trust. read more

Service in the store was fine, but their delivery sucks rocks. Multiple screw-ups, reschedules, and customer service people not knowing what each other are doing. Delivery is only during the day, and over an hour away from where we typically are during the day. Today perfectly shows this. We had a busted delivery from a few weeks ago (driver cancelled) with one item that went back to the warehouse. Rescheduled into another delivery we had scheduled for today - not great, but okay. They called today, and they can't find the item that they failed to deliver a few weeks ago - it's MIA. Then they called later and the driver who was supposed to deliver the other stuff is cancelling that delivery too, after my wife was already there, waiting. On hold with the store, no one picking up. 100% would NOT recommend. I would give zero stars if Yelp allowed. read more

My partner and I went to Ashley's in search of a living room set. When we arrived, we were greeted by Madeline, who made us feel right at home. With zero pressure at all, she answered all of our questions and treated us like family; showing us different furniture sets that she felt would look best in our new home. We were beyond impressed with her knowledge, professionalism, and attitude. In no time at all, she set us up with our dream living room, while ensuring we received the best deal possible. We received it all in less than a week and we could not be happier. Bottom line: come to Ashley's and ask for Madeline- I can say with complete confidence that, even if you don't buy something your first visit, you will have an incredible experience because her customer service is truly exemplary! read more

Purchased a new mattress and base not even 6 months ago. We love our sleep and invested in a dual massaging incline base set. It stopped working 2 months later. They sent a repair man to fix it. States they put the motor on backwards. Somehow he manages to do the same thing and it breaks again and the left leg is bent now. He says calll then again and they'll send another part. So 2 MONTHS later after we contacted them we finally get an email stating they're replacing the base. Cool. Guys come and they try to replace it with a model that does not have the same features. We paid $1300 for that awesome base and you want to replace it with a cheaper model that doesn't do the same thing? Negative. What a mess. So now we wait AGAIN for them to rectify their mistake. for how long? No ones knows. I'm so disappointed and will not purchase anything from Ashley's. UPDATE: The new base was delivered and set up yesterday. Thank you, Ashley's, for resolving this issue. read more
