Monday evening, 9/16/24 I went into this Silverdale Mattress Firm and explained…read moreto salesman, Jensen, that we bought a mattress from Mattress Firm in Gig Harbor a little over 2 years ago, (great experience there) and now I needed to replace the boxsprings which we didn't do at the time of the mattress purchase for our cal king bed, asked him if he could look up our sale and he did, shows me which one I needed, okay he orders them and says delivery will be on Wednesday! Paid extra for new boxsprings to be set up and take away our old boxsprings. Great, easy peasy, so I thought. Delivery comes and delivery guys say the boxsprings don't fit after they have pulled our bed apart, they're too big. Jensen- you ordered the wrong size when you had the previous size mattress right in front of you on your tablet. Wait there's more, It gets even better! I come home and my husband says the front door was left wide open by these delivery guys when they left, he was upstairs when they left and he wasn't happy when he went downstairs and found our front door wide open. Who leaves a customers front door wide open when they leave-Mattress Firm delivery guys do! Then I go upstairs to our bedroom and I can't believe they didn't put our bed back together, mattress is on its side, old boxsprings are standing against the wall, they left our bed torn apart, a complete mess. If my husband and son weren't home this night I would have never been able to put the bed back together by myself. We decided to cancel the entire order and will buy new box springs somewhere else. The way our bedroom was left did it for me, not what I expected when I got home from a long day. Complete waste of time! Tanner was great on the phone and refunded the entire amount! Thank you Tanner. Sorry it didn't work out too, was such an easy sale. I really hope Mattress Firm trains these 2 delivery guys in customer service on what not to do and do in a customers home! Then there's Jensen, if only he had ordered the correct size I wouldn't be writing about this terrible experience!

Penny addressed all of my concerns and cleared up the multiple levels of failure I experienced. Penny was generous enough to refund my bed frame and offer to come pick up my old box spring. Penny's phone call went a long way to make my concerns feel heard, understood and resolved. While I did encounter some setbacks from my initial shopping experience, after talking to Penny I will be giving Mattress Firm another chance the next I need a new mattress. I am now a happy customer sleeping on a very comfortable new mattress. I am getting a better nights sleep and experiencing less back pain. Thank you Penny!

I finally gave up and opted to trash my bed and replace it with a high quality but old school mattress (meaning: one that does not plug in, has no moving parts or tech that can fail), that would not give me such agita, and I am much happier with it. Long story short, if you value your time, money, or peace of mind, look elsewhere. This company offers ZERO customer service on a very overpriced, unreliable product.

This wasn't as easy as it sounds. We were amid construction that kept getting delayed due to the pandemic and they were always polite, professional, understanding and good natured about our changes. Furthermore, we had a very tricky install and their furniture delivery guys didn't give up on us. Any other furniture company would have thrown their hands up, quit and returned to the store. Not Ashley. Their guys looked at our layout, came up with a creative solution and managed to safely get our heavy, cumbersome sleeper sofa to a top level loft that posed some major challenges. In a cancel culture world where people are quick to complain and raise cain about things not going exactly as planned I wanted to make sure everyone knew that Ashley and their staff went so far above and beyond what we would have thought of as normal service that we were simply blown away. We can't thank them enough. They saved a family get together and our new loft furnishings. A GIANT thank you to the entire Silverdale team. We feel like we never would have received this level of care were it not on the peninsulas!!

I purchased a King size bed and power bases on 1/2/26. I had them delivered to my home on 1/9/26. They were not set up or even taken out of their boxes or packaging. On 1/11/26 I called Ashley to arrange a return of the items. The office manager, Linda said I can not return them because I signed the digital tablet that I accepted the delivery. Ashley's policy is no exchange and no returns. (I was not told about this policy by Reed (The Tie Guy) who sold me the complete bed, and did not receive a document saying anything about this policy.) The delivery people don't even leave you a slip of paper so you know what you signed! "It will come by email." NOPE. I am foolish for believing people and businesses at their word. I am about to have a serious spine surgery, so a week ago, my husband and I went in to Ashley Store in Silverdale, WA, to find a new bed, with adjustable bases. We needed to finance the bed. The sales person, Reed "The Tie Guy" told us we could afford the one we wanted on credit if we each applied for two separate credit accounts, and he split the King bed purchase onto two accounts. First mistake as it turns out. Not only can we not return something unopened and unused two days after receiving it, we had to pay double the $99.99 delivery fee. Linda, the office manager very rudely pointed out that this was because there are two separate sale slips. The more I tried to reason with her the ruder she became. The only reason we are returning the product is because we were mislead in thinking that the mattress protectors were part of purchasing the mattresses. "The Tie Guy" went on and on about how we could exchange the mattresses after 30 days of trying them - however this only applies if you purchase separate mattress protectors. When I received the mattresses, there were no mattress protectors as I had expected. I called the store to ask, and Reed said you buy them separately. He apologized for implying that they were included. When we ordered the bed , we said we wanted the complete setup that was on the floor and the warranty. He also failed to tell us about the protection plans we could have purchased, saying only that the warranties ride with the manufacturers. Now I can't get the comfort warranty because I didn't buy the mattress protectors at the same time as the split King bed. -Even though this was falsely implied as being included, I was happy to buy them now . It seemed fair to me since the bed wasn't out of its packaging yet. And, now I can't get the protection plan warranties because I didn't know about them from the sales person who mistakenly said Ashley didn't provide additional warranties. All I wanted was to buy this high quality Stearns and Foster $15,000 bed with adjustable bases. I wanted to protect my investment well with warranties and survive my surgery as best as possible and reduce the pain I am guaranteed to have. Ashley is obviously only concerned about ripping people off. They don't care about long term customers or satisfied customers. Too bad for Reed "The Tie Guy" who has only been working there a month. I guess he is too new still. Stupid me, I trusted he was selling their product correctly. He never told us all sales were final. On the contrary, he kept saying we could exchange in 30 days if not comfortable!! False representation of their product and policies by failing to point out the policies correctly, and falsely claiming what comes with the product. Then, failing to remedy the situation and own up to their own agreements offered, by allowing a long time customer to still pay for those opportunities, is more misrepresentation and horrible customer service. They definitely pulled the blanket over my eyes! I will NEVER shop here again. Buyer beware. Drill your salesperson. Don't blindly sign a tablet without reading all the tiny print, as it often contradicts the cool stuff the salesperson at Ashley store tells you. Zero stars.

To our surprise we found what we wanted and it was on sale! Pat was the one who helped us and she is amazing!!! She worked with our timeline and helped everything get all squared away! We needed to push delivery out a couple months and she helped us do that. Then when we were ready for our furniture I called her on a Wednesday and our furniture got delivered two days later on a Friday! Delivery was great! They called me before they showed up and even took off their shoes when bringing our furniture inside! All in all, our experience was great! Mostly due to the constant help from Pat! She said to call her if we needed anything or had any questions! She made the process super easy! Ask for Pat! :)

Now I've been on hold for 45 minutes trying to get answers about the bench that paid all $600 for and still no answers or seating for my family. Lesson learned. Don't buy from Macys. It's a joke and in the end you're the fool left dealing with the mess they make and trying to get the money they stole from you. Update: After an hour on the phone we finally got them to agree to redeliver the bench so that we can just go out and buy our own screws instead of waiting god knows how long for the bench to come back in stock. What do we get for all of this? A $100 credit. We paid for "white glove delivery" and instead we're having to go out and purchase parts that should have been included just so that we can get the furniture we paid for. What a scam!
