They have beautiful, good quality furniture at decent prices. However, that's the case for multiple other furniture stores in the area as well. I purchased furniture last year and received a quote for delivery one month from then. One month later they rescheduled the delivery for ANOTHER month later with no explanation. Two months later it was finally delivered this week but it was pretty scratched up and damaged on one side. I pointed this out to the delivery guy but he didn't speak english and I just decided to drop the issue. It wasn't worth waiting another two months if I returned it!! I purchased a bedroom set for my mother and Tony the salesman confirmed the delivery for June 15, 2019 for the morning. The set is a platform bed set because Tony assured me that the bed only came as a platform bed. The bedroom set arrived as scheduled but instead of the platform bed it was a regular bed. I had to go back to the store to fix Tony's mistake but the only thing I was offered was delivery charge. The delivery guys and customer service said that if I got the order in by 1530 that the correct bed can be delivered today. I go to the store to correct the mistake. Terrible experience because I was cheated out of my purchase and they have horrible customer service. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY HOMESTORE!!! If I could, I would give 0 stars. I bought a dining table with 4 chairs. I rejected a chair they delivered because it was damaged. The delivery people took the chair with them. Before they left, the delivery people had me sign on an electronic pad. When I asked to see what I was signing, they told me they could not scroll back on the electronic pad. I asked if I was getting a copy or print out stating the chair was refused, rejected and returned with the delivery people. The delivery people said they could not provide a copy or print out. However, the delivery person assured me he had removed the chair from the list of the delivered items and noted the chair was rejected and returned. I was later surprised to find out that the delivery person marked the chair as delivered even though the delivery people took the chair with them. I was therefore, cheated out of the chair because I paid for the chair but I never received it. Because the delivery people marked the chair as delivered, Ashley Homestore claims I have the chair. I do not have the chair because the delivery people took the chair with them. Ashley Homestore has never delivered the missing chair and cheated me by not delivering the missing chair even though I paid for it. Therefore, I have a dining table with only 3 chairs, even though I paid for 4 chairs. So every time family or friends come visit, they ask me why I only have 3 chairs for the 4 chair dining table. I always explain to them about my horrible experience of being cheated by Ashley Homestore. I tried to resolve the situation with Ashley Homestore. Like so many other reviews state, Ashley Homestore has horrible customer service and horrible experiences. I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought at Ashley Homestore because I would have bought at another company. Unfortunately, I realized Ashley Homestore has horrible customer service and experiences after I bought at Ashley Homestore. With Ashley Homestore's horrible customer service, they did not resolve anything. If I would have read the reviews first, I would have taken my business elsewhere and gone shopping at another company. What a fiasco! While the sales person was nice and got us taken care of, their delivery process is the WORST! Took a day off of work after confirming the delivery today and when they hadn't shown up within the time period, I looked online and the tracking indicated the delivery was on the way. So, I called. The rep tells me the furniture didn't make the truck today. NO PHONE CALL! Seriously? Now they want to reschedule but can't do so because it's "locked out". Bought and paid full cash, $15K for furniture back in February of 2022, was promised it will be delivered in March. March rolls around and was told it will be delivered in April. April rolls around and was told it will be delivered in May. What a joke. I signed up & paid for it to be delivered in March and was generous enough to allow them to postpone until April. Now they are testing me by asking for another poastpone to May. In spirit of resolving, I allowed it, but this is it. Furniture is well made but I am not impressed with delivery. I have two chairs that were backordered and needed to be delivered today separate from the rest of my order. I couldn't find an email confirming the delivery window so I called and found out my delivery had been cancelled. My protection plan was scheduled for the wrong day (a day that has already passed, by the way) and did not line up with the date for the chair delivery and as a result, my whole delivery was cancelled. There was no effort on Ashley's part to contact me and explain or reschedule the order. Had I not called to confirm, I would have sat here for another 2.5 hours for a delivery that was never coming. If I could give 0 stars, I would. We purchased a bed frame, desk and bookshelf on June 6th, 2020 at store # 273. It was scheduled for delivery on July 2nd. After no correspondence and no furniture delivered on the 2nd, we attempted to call customer service on more than 5 occasions. We were on hold for over 30 minutes each attempt. We returned to the store, because that is the only way to contact ANYONE who works for Ashley's. While complaining to the front office clerk, the manager was standing right there and did not say anything. When we asked for a manager, she directed us to a gentleman who had been standing right there the entire time and didn't even attempt to see what was happening. We were told THEY COULD NOT GIVE US ANY INFORMATION?! What?! How can you take thousands of dollars from people and have an answer like that. He then promised to call us back with an update that NEVER happened! After a few more extremely long calls to customer service, my husband got through and was told our furniture would be delivered on August 4th. Once again, no correspondence in regards to a delivery window or anything. SO we call AGAIN on August the 3rd. They then said we would get our furniture at the END OF SEPTEMBER , all of it! We said that is unacceptable and we wanted to speak to someone over them. We were informed on Monday we would get called back by a manager within 24-48 hours. It is now almost 4 days later and nothing. We were told it is due to COVID, that is so untruthful. You can tell by the reviews that this is ordinary business for them. Of course they are still stating a 10% restocking fee for an error on their behalf. I really didn't want to order from them due to lack of in store customer service, but they had what we were looking for. I sincerely urge you to avoid this company at all costs. Worst experience EVER! Wrong item ordered and delivered and second delivery was delivered outside of window and I was told it had to be rescheduled for another week out. Never received a call from the salesman from the first incident and now I'm told that I have to be stuck with a tiny loveseat and nothing else in the house. On top of that I was told my chairs would be delivered on the 19th. That ended up being changed to the 24th. The delivery drivers called 10 -15 minutes before their early arrival and tells me they are 5-10 minutes away. I told them no one would be there until the time that was stated for delivery. They called when they arrived and I again informed them that no one was there so they would have to wait. They said they couldn't so I said ok. My question is WHY IS A CUSTOMER REQUIRED TO PAY FOR YOUR DRIVERS MISHAPS? What's the point of a window if they can come at anytime. I've already been waiting weeks and then a week has to be added and it's not your problem anymore. I wish I would've read the reviews prior and went somewhere else. Because all I got out of this situation was a tiny loveseat and a BIGGER headache. It's unfortunate that I have to leave this review. When I first spoke to the sales rep I mentioned I just moved to Texas and did not bring any furniture with me. I would start fresh. I mentioned he needed to check to see if what I bought was in stock he sure. Yes! We have it. I paid in full for the furniture (I bought everything for my new home) only to find out that none of it was in stock. The delivered piece by piece over a 2 month period and yet 2 months later I'm still waiting. I constantly get phone calls (your furniture is on its way) when the team shows up its just one item. Buyer beware. I shopped here over the Black Friday weekend thinking it's a furniture store, so it won't be too crazy. They were a bit overwhelmed I think but after lots of patience, I managed to purchase and schedule a dining set to be delivered. First, the quality of their furniture is probably on the low end of what constitutes wood furniture but the price was good. If my experience had ended here, I probably would have given them 3 stars, however when they delivered my table, the legs were disassembled and the delivery man had a hard time finding the right furniture bolts to reattached the legs. In the end, he scavenged 2 bolts off one of my chairs and replaced it with 2 regular hardware store screws. When I called him on it, he tried to lie to my face and said it was better that way. He even refused to let me note the discrepancy on the delivery receipt, which I didn't even sign. I contacted Ashley Furniture's customer care and they said to send in a picture, which I did. A week later, no response. I doubt they will ever fix this, though I will call them again to give them another chance to rectify this, but I will never buy from them again. Update: After several emails and phone calls, they finally sent me a new chair to replace the damaged one and then told me they would send me a $100 coupon at a certain time of year, which I'm guessing is when they send everyone coupons and mark up their prices. read more

Overly expensive furniture for what you get. Many of the items were made of "fake wood," "fake granite," or some other material that was supposed to be passed off as the real thing. We were asked a few times if we needed help, and the people were friendly. However, with the sales that the email promised, I was unimpressed with the prices. We were very impressed and satisfied with the help we received. We went in looking at purchasing a new dining room set and living room set. Regina was helpful and very patient with us. She answered all our questions and addressed any concerns we may have had. She was not overbearing or pushy. The delivery guys were also efficient and on time. I was a little leery due to some of the previous reviews. A bonus was when we received a thank you note in the mail from Regina. This place has been beyond chaos. We ordered furniture from 4 separate stores around the area and the only one we have had trouble with is Ashley. We have been told about 6 separate delivery dates for our furniture and it only comes a couple pieces as a time (not to mention they broke a piece of furniture while installing and did not tell us, hoping we would not notice it) we have been given the run around so many times with our order and it's been horrible. Nobody will give us any clear explanation about anything about the reason they do not deliver our furniture when it's guarantees to be on the delivery truck. Calvin the salesperson was great, no knocks on him, it's just the company as a whole is completely unorganized and terrible. I do not recommend anybody go here, you'll be given false guarantees and lies, again we've ordered from 4 separate furniture stores in the area and every single other one has been fantastic and Ashley has been absolutely horrible. My husband and I purchased the McCaskill sectional from the Ashley HomeStore in Sugarland, on October 5, 2019. The customer service at the time of our purchase was phenomenal! We worked with Willie and he was kind, friendly, and very helpful as we were deciding which furniture to purchase. If I could separate this review into two components, I would give Willie 5 stars. Everything that has happened since signing on the dotted line has been nothing short of a nightmare. We didn't get the furniture on the date that was originally promised and as a matter of fact, we still don't have the center wedge. My husband and I receive a phone call and e-mail (sometimes twice) weekly to confirm the delivery date/time; but the on the day that the furniture is supposed to be delivered, I receive a call (without fail) to inform me that the wedge is not in stock. I don't have a problem with the item being out of stock; my problem is that I keep receiving phone calls and e-mails to confirm my delivery, only to be notified that the item is not in stock. I am so frustrated. Well today, after receiving the 6th phone call to delay my already confirmed delivery, I called customer service and spoke with someone who would only identify herself as "Gabby". I explained my situation to her and not only did she raise her voice at me, she apologized that I didn't understand their process. I explained that I didn't need an apology for not understanding the policy; but rather an apology for continuing to be promised a delivery of an item that is currently not in stock, because it doesn't make sense. She began to say over and over again, that it does make sense. I am still in disbelief. I asked repeatedly to speak with a manager and she continued to say, "I am the highest point of contact." I asked her who manager was and she just kept repeating, "I am the highest point of contact." I asked her if the call was being recorded and she said, "absolutely" and before hanging up, I said to her that if she is the highest point of contact, then Ashley Furniture is doomed. Needless to say that I still do not have the wedge and I feel even worse that I even spent one dime in that store. If customers had to deal with "customer service representatives" like "Gabby" first instead of the salesmen/women, then Ashley would have been out of business a very long time ago. read more

In summary, my experience with your delivery scheduling department has been despicable. I've been waiting since June 21 and still had not received delivery of my 8th dining chair. I've been told on four different occasions that delivery was scheduled only to wait and not have it delivered. I have spent countless hours on the phone with management and other customer service representatives. I am very disappointed in your company. 6/21 Purchase 8 chairs and table, paid for and scheduled del. for 6/24 6/23 I Called to confirm delivery time for 6/24 was told between 3-6pm 6/24 Delivery of chair and only 7 chairs-was told by delivery guy that the 8th chair would be delivered on 6/25 6/25 No Delivery 7/7 Called Customer Service 877-314-8457 was told that my delivery had been scheduled on 7/4. I let them know that no one had ever called to let me know nor did they come to make a delivery as I happened to be home all day on 7/4.Representative let me know that she would schedule delivery on 7/9 of the 8th chair. 7/8 I called Customer Service 877-314-8457 to confirm delivery time. They told me 12-3 on 7/9 7/9 No delivery 7/9 I called Customer Service 877-314-8457 to ask why I had not received delivery during scheduled time. Representative named Arthur told me that there never was a delivery scheduled and that the invoice showed that I had already been delivered all 8 chairs and a table. Then he looked at the photograph taken by delivery and said he could see that there were only 7 chairs. He informed me that he would have to resubmit the request before delivery could be rescheduled. I asked to speak with a manager. He informed me that all the managers were in a meeting and that a manager would have to call me back. 7/9 No manager returned my call 7/10 No manager returned my call 7/10 I called Customer Service 877-314-8457 to ask to please speak with a manager since no one had called me back. I waited on hold for a total of 70 minutes and finally talked with a manager. He let me know that you didn't have the chairs in stock, but that you would get a delivery over the weekend. He asked if I wanted the chair delivered on 7/14 or 7/15. I chose 7/14. 7/13 I called Customer Service 877-314-8457 to confirm a delivery time for 7/14. They told me 12-3 on 7/14. 7/14 No Delivery 7/14 I called Customer Service 877-314-8457 to ask why my chair was not delivered yet again. I was told that it was not scheduled for delivery, but was scheduled for customer pick-up instead. The customer service representative told me there was nothing she could do to change it back to delivery and that I would have to call the store where I purchased it. I asked to speak with the manager. After being on hold for 65 minutes total, I spoke with Manager Kerry who told me that someone at the store had changed it to pick up and it wasn't their fault. I told her I was very upset with the terrible service and I asked her if the delivery charges could be taken off. After being put on hold and told that I was never charged for delivery, which was not true , she finally agreed to credit my account for the $118 delivery charge. 7/15 I received a call from Customer Service stating that my delivery was scheduled for 7/15 between 5-8. It is currently 6:30, and I have yet to receive a phone call or receive delivery. Finally at 8:30, the delivery truck showed up not just 30 minutes late, but 24 days and 30 minutes late. Also, they lied about crediting the delivery charge bc it is still on my bill. read more

Please don't ignore the low yelp ratings, and save yourself some stress. Don't shop at the Sugar Land Ashley Furniture HomeStore, where you don't even get what you paid for. Here's my personal experience with them: The in store service seemed fine. A little pushy, but we were easily able to brush it off and browse the store at our leisure. We found a dining room table and chairs that we liked, so we placed the order and set the delivery date for 2 weeks out. On the day of the delivery we had a delivery window of 3-6 PM. At 5:55 I had yet to hear anything that day from Ashley Furniture about my delivery, so I was wondering when/if they were finally going to show up after I had been waiting around nearly 3 hours. We were told that "according to their system" the driver should be there at about 6:40. So we asked if they could give us a truly accurate estimate since that was clearly 40 minutes late. After a few phone calls they were finally able to get in touch with the driver who said that they would actually get there closer to 7. We're pretty frustrated, but at least we thought we knew what time to expect them. Finally they arrive at 7:20, bring all the pieces in, and are ready to assemble our table. Oh but wait, they're missing a piece. 3 days later we've been scheduled for another delivery where they're supposed to bring the last piece we need and assemble our furniture. Except that they brought the wrong part. So we had to be rescheduled for a THIRD 3 hour delivery window 3 days later, where yet again, they brought the wrong piece. Needless to say, but we were through with Ashley furniture. They're suggested solution was to have the piece ordered and shipped directly to my home (who knows if it would actually be the right piece), and then when it arrived they would send out a tech to assemble my table. The big problem here is that the delivery estimate for this piece is 2-4 weeks. Not worth my time considering how many delivery windows I already had to waste my time sitting through, and all the time I sat on hold with a customer service rep. I've now asked for a full refund, and that they take back all of the piece they left lying in my home. I was told this could take 7-14 business days for the money back and the pick-up, but at least I'm not wasting any money on them. They've just wasted hours of my time. read more

I cannot recommend this business. I bought a dining set at Ashley. On the day we stopped by, the salesperson told us that they were offering a 15% discount that day. That sounds good, but then the delivery charge came out to $180. The salesperson told me that the delivery charge was high because the item would be shipped from their factory in Mississippi and that they were providing a "white gloves" service. I was led to believe that I was buying a Made in USA product. Delivery was scheduled for 9 days after purchase. The salesperson pushed the extended warranty pretty hard; even the floor manager came over and tried to scare me into buying the warranty but I refused. Funny how the friendly smiles disappeared when I made it clear I wouldn't buy the warranty. The delivery was made on the scheduled day. The delivery crew were pleasant, but I would hardly describe it as a "white gloves" service. They took away the packing boxes but left some debris that required me to vacuum the carpet. Talking to the crew, I learned that Ashley paid them $30 for the delivery. The furniture is clearly labeled Made in China. Apparently, Ashley charged me $150 to move the merchandise from their warehouse (not factory). Since it took 9 days, this was hardly a rush shipment. I'm pretty disappointed that the merchandise was not made in Mississippi as I was led to believe. Also, the delivery charge was excessive. I believe this was deliberately done to offset the discount. I decided to keep the dining set, but I will not buy anything else from this company. They have permanently lost my trust. read more

I had horrible service. My furniture was ordered in February. It was scheduled for delivery, but when it came in it was the wrong piece. The salespeople don't seem like they're trained well. A few times I've gone here and a lot of them seem high. My salesperson Christian was one of them (could smell it on him). The sales manager Bernie has been helpful in getting this resolved and by crediting me my delivery charge. That I do appreciate. I'm still upset because my delivery won't come in until May 6th and if I cancel my entire order I have to pay restocking fee. I feel that this should be rushed especially if a salesperson was the one to screw up. That's an entire month after it was supposed to be delivered to me. It was the worst mistake to buy my bedroom set at this company. I made the purchase on 1/25/2020 and I was promised that it would be delivered on 2/10/2020. On 2/10/2020 it was an incomplete item. missing the headboard. They promised to deliver it on 2/18/2020. Again I took a day off for the second time for this delivery and they never show-up. I call around 3:45pm, only to be told that it was damage and they were about to call me in an hour. Really? Would never buy from here again. The sales rep at the store were really nice and helpful but the delivery process was HORRIBLE! Its taking over a month and me taking off of work atleast 5 times so far for delivery to get everything in. I called the customer service number the day of first delivery and they said I wont get it and there is a hold but after arguing with the person I got them to take the hold off and deliver that day. However the leather sofa came damaged. They sent someone a week later to "repair" it but I wasn't going to have brand new sofas I spent $4k on to come damaged and repaired already. Then we scheduled the exchange, I called to confirm deliver on Saturday for Mondays delivery. On Sunday, I received an automated called confirming the time and then on Monday morning I get a call around 7:30am saying there is another hold and wont be delivered until the 16th (Wednesday after) it was a voicemail because I missed the call and told me to call them back on a certain number. and when I called that number it said they dont open until 9 so call back at 9. When I called at 9 the earliest they could reschedule me was 21st. How did that happen? I requested a day off from work on Monday for no reason. Now, I have to request time off for a 4th time from work to get one set of sofas. The discount they offered was a $100 store purchase card? REALLY??? I am not spending anything else at Ashley's. I have purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley's. I called last week to have them come look at my mattress that is still under warranty. The tech came out to inspect the mattress and there is a crack on the mattress from where the foam is separating and it runs across the whole mattress. Ashley is refusing to replace my mattress claiming there is a small stain on the mattress protector. I requested for a technician to come out and inspect the mattress with the protector off to which they refused. Not sure how a huge crack is justified by a stain on a mattress protector! read more

Had horrible experience at this store yesterday due to a very pushy sales person. He would not stop hounding us on what we need to buy and how badly we needed the furnitures. 24 hours after walking out of the store yesterday, my wife was able to convince me to come back. Today's experience was totally different. If you do choose to give this store a chance, look for Tim. He was helpful and very informative. I would have given this store more stars because of Tim but our experience yesterday was just horrible. read more

I am replying to comment from "business owner" that was written today. I was asked to contact corporate customer care, so i just did that. But it seems since I cancelled the order when I heard my furniture would not be delivered the day I promised I was told that really nothing else can be done. I am not sure why I was asked to contact the office. All I can state is if i originally had been told by the store there was a chance I would not receive my order on promised date I would not have purchased it. Should of read the reviews before shopping here I may have saved myself some money. I bought a table and within a year it starts to bubble both montage and Ashley unwilling to help. Ashley offered to help waited 2 weeks with now gift card I call back and now they won't help and hold true to their word. I understand they have cost effective furniture but if you can save a little more but from somewhere else this place is not worth it and you will be replacing your purchase within a year. Did not receive my recliner till 4 pm the next day. And only reason i received it then is because I went back to the store and demanded my money back. Thats when Ashley finally got the recliner to me about 4 pm the next day. Also, they do not take old furniture away. Everywhere else that I purchased from took the old furniture away. read more

May 2020 I purchased a settee from Ashley's Sugar Land. I was to pick up at the warehouse 6/19/20. Once there I was informed item was on back ordered. I never received a call/text or email before this date to inform me. I called numerous of times to the store on hold for long periods and no answer. I did go to Pearland store one day (since I had another issue with a piece of other furniture) and was given free delivery on the missing item. Long story short, I have been given numerous of dates via text for delivery and no one ever shows, no calls/ text or emails to cancel the delivery. My husband and I have lost more money not going into work awaiting delivery than what we spent on the settee. Numerous of calls, going to the store, associates telling me they will look into it and they'll call me back and nothing ever happens. I did request a refund 3 weeks ago and was told it would be deposited into my bank account within 7 days. I am beyond furious that it is almost 4 months later and I have not got a refund or the item. Talk about lack of communication. So we went to the Sugar Land store yesterday around 7:45 pm and the manager went to the door to lock it once he saw us approaching. We stood there and knocked and an associate came to open it and stated he was sorry for the inconvenience of the locked door. I do understand furniture is on back order due to the pandemic but this is beyond ridiculous. read more

Will never shop at Ashley's again, this is the first store I have ever had to boycot. I Walked through the sugarland location of Ashley's for almost an hour... Many of their sales associated looked right at me and did not even bother to ask did if I needed help, instead they walked past me multiple times to go greet and help customers who were not of the same skin tone. I thought at first maybe it was just me, until I noticed other customers with my same skin tone were also not being helped. I am not sure what it is about Ashley's furniture, but I do not believe they value certain customers. I have shopped at many major furniture companies all over the houston and surrounding areas. I have only experienced racial discrimination at Ashley's furniture stores. Please if you are a minority take your business elsewhere, this place will not give you equal treatment and plus their ratings and quality is sub par. read more

Recently purchased and changed our decision (within 24 hours) and sales person lied and manager would not refund. .."store mgr said we should of READ the fine print on the contract prior to initial and signatures" Gave us a very hard time and said customer is Not always right. Most stressful experience EVER! There are fast food restaurants with better customer service than this company! My husband and I went to Ashley HomeStore in Sugar Land to purchase a dining room set in September. We were told it would take 4-6 weeks to deliver which we had no issue with because of known delivery delays due to COVID-19. On October 6th I was notified that my furniture was available for delivery, and confirmed a delivery date of Oct 15th. On Oct 15th, they showed up with my dining room set and NO TABLETOP FOR THE TABLE (yes, the main component of a dining room set)! No one from customer service or dispatch notified me of the missing tabletop! I would have certainly told them to keep it until my they have every piece. When I called customer service, no one had answers as to why my tabletop was missing. The next day I called customer service back and was told my tabletop was not in the warehouse. Then why was I not notified prior to delivery??!! Two of the chairs to the set were also delivered damaged. The CSR told me that she could send another leg for my chair!! WHAT?! Who does that? I want a whole new chair! I was assured that my tabletop and replacement chairs would be delivered on Oct 22nd. I even received confirmation texts, calls, and emails with a 3 hour delivery window. Well, 15 mins before my delivery window on Oct 22nd, I received a text asking me to pick a delivery date for the week of Oct 26th! Yes, on the day I'm expecting my remaining furniture to be delivered! Again, no calls from ANYONE with Ashley to let me know why my furniture was not being delivered. Confused, I called the delivery department. Again, no answer as to what happened. I asked to be transferred to a manager who could give me answers, only to be sent to "Courtney" a Customer Response Lead, who put me on hold and then hung up on me! At this point I don't even want to do business with this company. They don't deserve one red dime of my money! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and will NEVER step foot back in an Ashley store again! read more

Please do NOT buy anything from Ashley furniture! They are selling things that they cannot deliver. I read the reviews and ignored them. I needed furniture and decided to go to Ashley since I purchased furniture from them in the past. I still bought several pieces of furniture on October 26th with delivery to be on November 5th. I got everything, but my metal bed frame. 22 days later, multiple phone calls, multiple delivery confirmations, still no bed frame, mattresses on the floor, and an estimated delivery of maybe mid December. I was laughed at by Adriana at corporate because I was furious that it's taking this long to have a simple metal bed frame delivered. Not one of the managers at corporate, especially someone named josh, would bother to speak to me or return calls. I finally got the Sugar Land store (thank you Selena) to refund my delivery charge and my metal frame. Ashley furniture should be embarrassed by their lack of ability to track products that they sell. If they can't track it or speak to the manufacturer, why are they selling it? Worst customer service ever. I'm so disgusted by my treatment. I will never buy anything from here and I do not recommend this place to anyone! read more

My husband and I purchased a dining room set from Ashley about a year ago, and it was one of the worst decisions we could have made. We purchased a dining table, chairs, china cabinet, and bought the protection plan as well. The furniture was delivered in September and sat unused for a couple months until we noticed a mark on the table top. We immediately called Ashley Furniture and scheduled a technician to come and inspect the damage. The technician told us that the mark was a chemical burn, and Ashley informed us that it was not covered under manufacturer's warranty but would be covered under the protection plan we purchased with Montage. After months of phone calls, we were finally able to open a claim with montage. We were told that although chemical burns ARE COVERED under the protection plan that our claim was denied. Every person I spoke with at Montage gave a different reason for why the claim was denied, none of which were valid. We decided to go back to Ashley Furniture to see if they could help. The manager at the store said she had called Montage and had our claim re-opened and assured us they would work with them to get it resolved. After a few weeks without hearing back from Ashley or Montage, I called Montage to ask about the claim. They said they had never spoken with anyone at Ashley Furniture and the claim had never been re-opened. The manager at Ashley Furniture had lied to us. I called Ashley to ask about this, and they said that they didn't see any record of us ever having a claim with Montage. This was also a lie, the claim number was OM181776. After several more weeks of back and forth with Ashley and Montage, nothing was resolved. We spent thousands of dollars on furniture that has never been used and is now permanently damaged. Ashley Furniture went out of their way to sell us a protection plan with a fraudulent company. We were denied coverage on a mark that IS COVERED under the plan. Ashley Furniture lied to us several times, refused to help us in any way, and had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!! read more
