I paid over $2000 for two couches and a coffee table was told it would be delivered early morning on Monday. I got a message on my phone at 7:30 AM Telling me the couches would be delivered between 330 and 5 PM. Ended up taking a whole day off of work and had a meeting at 6 PM that I had to go to. The delivery truck finally showed up at my house at 7:10 PM. So not only did I miss work but I also missed an important meeting that I had. The manager at the store could care less when I talked to him. He said he has no control over the drivers they will get there when they get there. Worse experience ever! I purchased a sofa and large round chair to match it. I did everything I could to care for and preserve my purchase, including adding on an expensive warranty plan for three years. Within 6 months, the cushions were flat as a pancake. I called the store, who referred me to the Warranty people. The have come out 4 times. I finally gave the entire couch to Goodwill. I am in the market now for $1000s for furniture to fill a new large 3000+ sq foot house. I will not even entertain the idea of walking into Ashley. read more

The whole process of buying a bed was like a nightmare. First they messed up the shipping address , customer service asked me to send via e mail proof of address which only after cancellation they explained that it wasn't appropriate. They said I have to go back to showroom to change the address but at the store they said it was not needed. Finally , I got my bed and it was rapidly assemble by two guys that ended up messing my bedroom's wall. So far horrific experience with this store. Every time we call to find out when are furniture is going to be delivered we get different stories. So far we have spoken to 5 "store managers" ( i think they all them themselved managers) and recieved 5 completely different stories. They dont even have the same story - they have not clue where our furniture is. We ordered specific items because they were 'In Stock" and ready to be delivered within 10 days. So far it has been 7 weeks and some of our furniture wont be delivered to October as it was "out of stock". The furniture is being shipped to an apartment in Tampa and we bought it in Plantation Florida. Then when the deliver was happening they said, "oh we did not know it was going to Tampa we cant deliver if for a few more weeks now". UNREAL. I was told the salesman made a mistake that the furniture was in stock. LIES. If feel we were told is was in stock to make a sale and not his problem after he charged my credit card. Funny thing between my son and I we have called the store about 15 times and the salesman NEVER called us back. His name was Alan. I have spoke to the managers, Gigi, Jordan, Christina and can not recall the others. When a bed frame was delivered they dropped in on the floor and damaged the floor the wall and the furniture. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! If there would be a possibility of giving it zero stars that would be the rating for this review. I purchased a leather sofa and love seat during the Black Friday sale. I decided to purchase because the sale was too great to pass a supposedly no interest for 60 months coming to find out there's no such thing. I was not given an invoice which supposedly would be sent to my email which was never received. I found out by checking my card app that I would be charged interest that if added up would have been higher than the supposed savings. Words of advice if it looks to be true, guaranteed it's because it's not. Make sure you walk out with an invoice and don't believe every word the nice salesperson tells you. Once they get their commission they don't show face and claim that they thought that's how it works. That's a learning experience for them and they are sorry but unfortunately minor detail that their ineptitude comes at the customer's expense. Absolute the worst experience with an Ashley Furniture sales person today at Sawgrass Mall. Completely rude and obviously has no customer service skills. After about a 15 minute encounter and not wanting to lay on all their mattresses (after I asked for the specific mattress I needed, but they didn't have) for the sleep experience due to covid, the sales person had the nerve to ask my friend amd I what we did for a living and then advised that we wouldn't appreciate her telling us how to do our job. I didnt even catch her name, but she wore a long red duster today and I believe she had braids. I went to Mattress Firm right after and had a wonderful experience and purchased what I wanted. read more

I was serviced by John Mason a sales associate there. I was looking for a recliner and when I found one I liked I asked if they would remove the old one for me. He said that they did not offer that service. I told him to forget it if the delivery people could not move the old recliner to the curb for me. He said that they could and would do that but were unable to remove it and take it with them. He proceeded to write up the deal and charged $95 for delivery and added a 3 year service contract to the order. He then told me about a one year interest free payment offer. I agreed to that. He told me that the payments would start when they delivered the chair in about 45 days. Soon after I received a bill from a symphony card for my first payment. I called and asked about that and John said he would take care of the mistake. I told him that I no longer wished to finance the chair but would pay for it when it was delivered. After waiting the allotted time and with no contact or delivery of the chair I called to find out what happened. I was told I cancelled the order. I was contacted by John and he took a new order. When it was delivered I asked the delivery people to remove the old chair to make room for the new one. They said they did not do that. I said ok, cancel the order. The driver made a phone call and then agreed to remove the old one. I told him I wanted it taken to the curb. He said ok. The chair was removed to the garage and the new one brought in. The delivery people then hurried out to the truck and when I asked about putting the old chair at the curb they laughed and said"that's your problem Papa". I was later called asking about my satisfaction and I told them I was not satisfied and why. I was assured that a customer service person would call me within an hour. Two hours later I was contacted again and asked if the customer service person had taken care of the problem. I said that I had not heard from anyone else and she told me that I would receive a call by the next day, and that she would call me to check the next day herself. Needless to say neither the customer service person or the lady who had contacted me were ever heard from again. I will never buy from this store again. They lack communication skills between all departments including delivery drivers. The day I purchased my sofa I specifically asked my sales rep to make sure that our delivery time was after 5 pm considering my wife and I both work until then no mentioned of any extra charge for the time delivery other than the premium option which we took. My sales rep claimed to be able to accommodate. Day of delivery we were contacted with a time of 5-8 pm arrival time. Driver shows up at 2 pm and says he'd rather deliver it first thing. Again no questions asked until he arrived and said he would try again later. 6 pm I get a call and says that he noticed my sofa came damaged and didn't want to deliver that way. I said okay and told me I was going to be contacted within 2 days. This was on a Thursday and I never heard from anyone until my sales rep calls and asks how my furniture did and If everything went smoothly..again MISCOMMUNICATION! Here we go again try to reschedule and my sales rep says it will be a fee of 30$ for a late delivery option again never mentioned the first time. So I refused that and he mentioned we would wave the fee. Couple days go by nothing is being done to reschedule my delivery. I call my sales rep and he's off for a few days not really worrying about the delivery. I schedule my own delivery because it was already available online. I notice it's not letting me chose my 5pm time. I call again to try and get that adjusted. Sales rep says no worries he will add that on. 2nd attempt delivery the confirmation gets sent and it's a 11-2 time slot again we work till 5! I call to get that time adjusted and come to find out that in my area THEY DONT DELIVER AFTER 5!!!! This is 3 weeks later and I have gotten the bill before I even have received the sofa. OK, So I try to be positive... "But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard". Ashley HomeStore is doing just about everything they can to harsh my vibe and make me go all 'Jules - Ezekiel 25:17' from Pulp Fiction on them. Lets start by saying I am lazy, with very little ability to mix and match colors. I am the kinda guy to wear Jeans and a solid long sleeve button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up in single colors with a pair of black boots... Basically I am saying I don't do the whole mix and match thing and I wish Garanimals came in adult sizes. So every time I went out with my wife to buy furniture, we both just gave up and went home to plop on our very old living room sofa that the dog spends more time on than we do. So we had planned on buying some very nice leather furniture from a place and have the sofa made to our specs... But the dog made us just give up and we stopped by an Ashley store to just look around. There we found Luci. Man I love Luci. She was not only super friendly and had the ability to mix and match (something I am sure is required for anyone that works in the industry)... But she had CLASS and was NOBLE. More on this later. So my wife and I just decide 'screw it' and we order a complete living room from her. We only spent about 3,000 dollars and that was nice because the custom couch for the dog was going to cost about 5K. So we order and we are told a DAY that they will be by. And that if I miss the appointment there is a 90 dollar fee for making them come back. They call and give you a 3 hour window the day before and before they come they call to say they are on the way... But you still don't know when they will be there so you can't plan anything. First time (yep, it is that kinda story) they showed up and were pretty quick dropping off the furniture. But my wife and I found a few issues with it (the couch had some stuffing missing on one of the arms, a few chips in a table, and a drawer was crooked). We paid to have it delivered and payed the extra "insurance" and I am glad we did. The insurance means that THEY have to come to you, otherwise you have to take the furniture to THEM to look at. So now after one day of standby, I have to schedule with some contractor to come by and see if he can fix the issues. So now two days wasted waiting on them... Luckily, I had just had surgery so I was not doing much other than popping pain pills and watching cartoons while I recovered. So the guy comes out and 'fixes' the two pieces. I say 'fixes' because he made a lot of noise and a lot of mess but didn't fix anything. So now I have to get the pieces replaced. So now THREE days of sitting around waiting. Well.... Guess what? They show up 5 minutes before the window they said they would be there, and the bring the WRONG PIECE OF FURNITURE. So now I have to plan ANOTHER day to just wait on them. So one day to get the stuff, one day to see if it can be fixed, one day to have them replace it, and another day for them to bring the right stuff. Seriously? This is the level of 'service' they provide? They sold damaged goods and have wasted three days of my life trying to fix the issue. 1. How about you inspect stuff before you take it out for delivery? 2. How about you act fast and accurate to fix mistakes? 3. How about you actually fix those mistakes? I should not have to plan an entire day to wait on them every time they make a mistake. As the slap chop guy on TV says... "But wait, there is MORE!" So since I have wasted three days waiting on them and they threaten 90 dollar fee if I miss them... What do you think they are going to do for me for making me wait 3 days? When I ask I get offered a 50 dollar gift card. Well, I just spent 3,000+ on furniture and what exactly am I gonna buy for 50 bucks? So I ask for a refund instead of a gift card. They tell me that is not "possible". So I ask for a supervisor. She tells me that she is the highest level I can reach.... Huh, I must be talking to the CEO!!!! I tell her that is not good enough and she tells me she can transfer me to another person at her level, but that is as high as it can go. About 10 minutes later she comes back and says she has started my 50 dollar refund. So while you might have wasted 4 days reading this missive, at least you didn't waste 4 days and still not have your furniture fixed. Stay away from Ashley and City Furniture (same company, in fact the truck said City Furniture on the side). Buyer beware! I hope you have some surgery scheduled so you don't have to skip work. Great time at the store picking 3000 worth of furniture, 1 complete room, and a second sofa .salesman was great . I paid completely in full . Even let them deliver all at once instead of multiple times due to lack of inventory. No problem. Then the delivery, two people arrived at my home and started. Staking stuff at the door . I moved it all so they could move in the sofas 3 of them . They walk up to the door and said sorry we can't get in open your garages and we will pit it in your garage. If professionals can get it in what should I do ? I called customer service and the said that all they need to do. I couldn't talk to a manager. I bought an area from Ashley Furniture/City Furniture three months ago. The navy color has come out of the rug and almost disappeared completely. The company won't replace it unless I pay them a delivery fee or take it back myself. I also bought living room furniture i.e. 3- seater couch, love seat and also coffee and end tables, plus kitchen table and chairs. I've been reading so many numerous complaints about this company, and wish now that I'd gone elsewhere. The rug is still under the Manufacturer Warranty. I'm absolutely disgusted at how they treat their customers. My son and daughter have also bought furniture from them too, and are having problems but, of course, the company is not interested as they've had their money and we are left with damaged goods. WORST experience!!! NEVER AGAIN!! I have had a nightmare of an experience with this store. We've always shopped here for our furniture needs before but will never shop here again. We recently moved and decided to replace all of our furniture. We went to a local store and picked out a bed, mattress, dinning set and couch to start. These items were set to deliver on the 23rd. We live in a condo with building restrictions and we mentioned this to the sales rep. We even shopped one week early to ensure a seamless delivery process, however, Ashley's did not follow, though. On the day of delivery, we received the call from the driver giving us the window and listing our items. Problem #1: the couch was not part of the items, so we had to call the store and reschedule for the following Saturday since my husband and I are not home throughout the week. We were disappointed but got over this quickly. We waited SIX HOURS on the items to arrive. They never did. We called the store and customer service several times and they could not locate or tell me anything about the truck or my items. WE were the ones tracking everyone down the entire afternoon. They NEVER had the decent courtesy to call and let us know they were running late or couldn't make the window. 3 staff members from the condo Assoc. agreed to wait an additional 30 minutes and extend the window for deliveries - they took time out of their beautiful Saturday afternoon to wait...and NOTHING. I finally got the call ONE HOUR late saying they were on their way, I told them the building was closed now, and they immediately hung up the phone!!! I didn't even get another word out. After several calls with customer service and the sales rep we rescheduled the delivery for this Saturday 4/30. I just received a call today 4/27 that one of the items will not make it and have been on hold for 13 minutes waiting to see which item...I gave up and called the sale rep to cancel whatever it is that isn't coming. There are DOZENS of furniture stores I would rather purchase through at this point. We have been without any furniture for two weeks now and have the option of shopping at many other stores for our needs and should not have to put up with this sort of unprofessionalism. I'm incredibly disappointed and frustrated with this ordeal. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any type of transaction I have ever dealt with. This is worse than Spirit Airlines. Ashley/City is a major, nationwide company and cannot even schedule a simple delivery. read more

We came to this Ashley Store today trying to utilize the Ashley Furniture Card we recently opened and furnish our new home located nearby. Our decision to come to this store was based upon the incredibly poor service we received from a different Ashley location (on Sheridan). We sat down to complete our purchase and were blown away by the impeccable service we received. They listened to our horror stories from the previous store, and did their best to rectify our situation, all while trying to provide us a little comedy to calm us down. We urge you to come to THIS location, as THIS location genuinely cares about exceeding customer expectations, and retaining you as a customer. They actually WANT you to come back again and again. We were originally deterred from coming to this location based upon the other reviews below, and then wound up having an absolutely awful experience at another location (that had great reviews). My husband and I went into the store on Black Friday looking for a couch. We had a woman named Angela help us. We decided to order a couch we liked. We were very specific on the pieces that we wanted and I asked her when would we get delivery? She looked inside of the system and said that the items we were purchasing were in stock and we would receive it on Saturday, which was the very next day. She said that somebody would call us the day of delivery and narrow the window for the delivery time on Saturday. Saturday comes and my husband is waiting around and as the day is going on no one has called us to set up delivery or should I say the time that they will be delivering. My husband called Angela at the store and she informs him that their system crashed nationwide and that's why no one has called yet. My husband called back a couple hours later and the system was still down. Angela told him as soon as the system goes up that she would be on it and make sure that we would get delivery and that somebody would call us to narrow the time down. Well Sunday comes and it's 3 o'clock in the afternoon and we have not received any call from Angela or anyone about delivering our furniture so I call and Angela doesn't answer. I then call the store and speak to Angela and Andres informs me that my furniture would not be delivered to me until Wednesday. Andres then informs me that Angela tried to set up delivery and because of the system crashing it kicked my delivery out of the system which means I would have let time go on and no one would have ever called us about delivering our furniture so I said I want to speak to someone in customer service. I then got transferred to customer service and I was told by the gentleman that he could see in the system that Angela tried to set it up for delivery but it was declined so what he was saying was that my furniture was never set up for delivery when we were told that it would come on Saturday and because that happens now I wouldn't be able to get my furniture until Wednesday. As I was sitting looking at the invoice I realized that not only has she not set it up for delivery she also didn't have all the right pieces on the invoice which meant that even if they had delivered my furniture not all of it would have come and then I would've had to turn around and go back to the store to order the missing piece to then pay for delivery again. At that point I asked customer service what were they willing to do for me and my husband since we were so badly inconvenienced and he told me that they could not do anything then when I told him to cancel all the furniture all together and give us a refund then he said he could give us free delivery however he said what he would do it once the furniture was delivered then he would turn around and reimburse us for the delivery fee. That is unacceptable. What he was trying to do was make sure that we got the furniture because if we got the furniture then we would be charged a restocking fee if we decided to return it. After I got off the phone with customer service then Angela returns my phone call and tells me that she did set up the delivery and that she doesn't understand why customer service is telling me that she didn't. I just didn't like how unprofessional the whole thing was handled. Then once I pointed out that she didn't add all of the pieces even though she went back and looked on the wish list and saw all the pieces that we asked for and her her response was oh I'm sorry do you want me to add that? Well, let's think about it do I want half of a couch? At that point there was nothing offered to try and make up for their wrong so my husband and I decided to cancel altogether and went out east to the store on Federal highway and ordered all of the pieces that we originally wanted. I would not recommend anyone going to the Sawgrass store...the customer service that they offer is horrendous! I understand everybody makes mistakes but it was disgusting in my eyes to see customer service and Angela throwing blame back-and-forth on each other that's so unprofessional! They could've also done something to make up for the inconvenience when my husband missed work because he was told it would be delivered on Saturday then no one even called us to set up any type of delivery which means my furniture would've been sitting there until one day I decided to call and say hey when are we getting our furniture? Then when the mistake was made they did nothing to try and give us great customer service by giving a discount or anything else. Never buy from this store! They sell you defective items and then put you through hell and back to get the item replaced and expect you to pay delivery. On top of that they try and pull a fast one telling you that you can't use the finance terms and want to tell you that because you have a credit in your system that you had because they credited back the defective item they cannot offer you finance rate you had. In essence they wanted me to pay the delivery, buy a new warranty on it and pay it off in 12 months instead of the 24 I originally had with my first order. Worst customer service iv ever dealt with. Received a wrong comforter than what I ordered went back to Ashley they said I had to drive to city furnature to return it so I drove there and they wouldn't return or exchange it. The Ashley and city company's are the same company and have equally no knowledge of how their own return policy works very unprofessional not good business. read more

Deeply disappointing Customer Service and they lie when selling the products. I definitely wont buy from them again. I got a "Leather" Sofa (they told me that when I bought it, but when arrived it is "Durablend" only 17% leather). I paid for the delivery, when it arrived the delivery guys where hitting out of the truck the sofa, placed the sofa in the middle of the door hallway and refused to move it. they claimed that we did not paid for the delivery even after we showed them that. but the experience got worse when we remove the cover of the sofa and found out that was scratched (no wonder why after see how they manage the furniture). we submitted a claim with photos and have not response yet. we called the seller and said that we have to wait for the response of Customer Services.....tried online and they said that are not part of the stores, so no one can help....I cant believe they are still on the market. dont buy from them....there are many others out there. read more
