I needed a mattress delivered asap & I started calling around but then I read the five star reviews written by my friends, Michelle F and Nola F, so I knew exactly who to call. Thank you ladies for sharing your fantastic experiences; and this is just another reason why I love Yelp so much. I trust my friends opinions & I knew if they had great experiences then chances are extremely high that I would have a positive experience too. I called the store & spoke with both Jose and his manager Caroline. After explaining my situation, both of them rolled up their sleeves and made next day delivery happen. They called the warehouse and had my Saturday delivery moved up to Friday. I called them late afternoon on Thursday and delivery was moved up again to an early morning drop off. The window they originally gave me was 9am-3pm. Imagine my surprise when my phone rang at 7:15am the next morning and the driver said he will be there between 8-9:30am!!! We purchased a Simmons Beautyrest mattress and boxspring set. The price was a little high but when you factor in the free delivery, it all balanced out. We also bought a mattress cover which was fairly priced. They were kind enough to waive the $29 removal fee too. Jose and Caroline are rock stars in my book. I did the transaction over the phone and they made it so easy. I was told delivery went well with no hiccups. The driver also called me to let me know he arrived and I also received an automated text once delivery was made. Something I appreciated was I never had to question the delivery status. The line of communication was open from start to finish; text, emails, phone calls; you name it & they had it covered. Hands down, this was a great experience. Jose and Caroline are true professionals and their level of customer service was top notch. I am blown away by their motivation to expedite everything and incredibly thankful for their help. I just received my new mattress from City Mattress and am so pleased. The delivery drivers were right on time. I was given a three-hour window and they got here right at the beginning of the assigned time. They were very pleasant. So was Carolina my sales associate. She was so helpful and provided a lot of honest and useful information. My Mom had a great experience here so I knew I would come here too when I needed a mattress. The showroom is so open and airy. It is not like some of the other mattress places where it is very cluttered. The showroom at City Mattress is very modern. They offer free delivery and if you ask nicely, free removal of your old mattress. I HIGHLY recommend this store. My Nectar mattress was delivered today by City Mattress. It is very comfortable and I was very impressed by the delivery experience. Leon and Anthony were extremely professional and even were courteous enough to wait for me to vacuum where my old mattress used to be. They took great care and wore their booties in my home when I asked them to. They were very polite. Brand new mattress shop, was greeted by Jerry and Nera and they were the best! Jerry gave a great explanation about the life difference of a firm and a soft bed. We had such a great experience. Nera provided truly excellent customer service. She was so very helpful, explained everything in detail, and never pressured us at all. We purchased the perfect mattress and found a sleeper-couch that was exactly what we needed for our guest room. We were called ahead of time to notify us of the delivery today, and they were right on time. The two gentlemen that delivered and installed our mattress and couch also were excellent. It was not easy getting everything up a winding staircase, but they careful and conscientious, and made sure everything was just right. Do not buy a PranaSleep mattress from the PranaSleep website, the customer service is non-existent and if your mattress is not the right one, you are stuck with all shipping costs, over $1100. I ordered a mattress and it was rock hard, nothing like the website description, and was not informed that a comfort guarantee would cost me expensive shipping for both. The reviews on the website are misleading and false, they are from the actual City Mattress stores, not the PranaSleep website. PranaSleep is not an actual company, with no employees, just a way for City Mattress to upcharge customers who do not shop at one of their stores. read more

Walked in yesterday just expecting to look and walked out a couple if hours later with a new, much needed mattress. With a bad back, the softer mattress we have is making mornings unpleasant. Nera, the store manager, was so helpful, patient and knowledgeable that is made the total experience very positive.
