I came in looking for a sheet of brass for a project present for my fiance, which they didn't have, but after I told him what I was trying to do and showed him pictures, he recommended a different sheet of metal that should would work just as well. Long story short, I bought more than I needed, but that's my own fault (and an ongoing trend for me in hardware stores). I had everything I needed to make a beautiful sheet metal rose that my fiance absolutely loves. This Ace may not have everything you've ever wanted in a hardware store, but they do a pretty good job of having most of what you'd need, in a location that was in desperate need of a hardware store.

She caught the plexiglass as this is for shelving, The older gentleman then cut regular glass measuring 1/8" measured it and told her it was 1/4" thick to get the sale. He also showed me exactly how to use my tools and products. I actually used a mallet for the first time in the store. This gave me the confidence to wield my mighty mallet alone at home. It's a small local business. It ridiculous to think they can price match Amazon, Lowe's or Home Depot. I always go to this location when I need help and I'm happy to pay a tiny bit more for my items.
