We came across The Farmstead Market at a farmers market. They had some great looking produce…read moreavailable, and we were excited to get containers of blueberries and black raspberries. The friendly vendor had some great little lids to put on top so that all of the berries stayed put during the rest of our stroll around the market and journey home. The berries are sweet and juicy, with a great texture. The vendor was very friendly, and we enjoyed a quick chat with her.

There is a vast selection and some very nice things and some yard sale nonsense. Slim pickins' for the true collector. It's difficult to gauge value and cost worth because of all the different owners. I have seen situations where there's a price window and in certain events, they will call the owner to dicker on price. It's spacious. Very spacious. With all the variety it's impossible to organize, yet, they can direct you to most items you're looking for. The folks operating the store are very kind and really try to guide you to booths that may have what you're in search of. For me this is just a way to get in a walk and spend a couple of hours looking at knick knacks. If that sounds like you, come check her out. Admission is free. 06/24

Well-built retaining walls and two large paver patios - along with new trees, shrubs, and perennials - have added significantly to our family's enjoyment of our home. Jered Seely's expertise in both hardscape and landscape designs is exceptional. He incorporated our preferences into a workable plan with an attractive result. We especially appreciated Jered's utilization of a computer program that allowed us to view how proposed plantings of trees, shrubs, and perennials would look when placed along the front of our house. The quality of the crew responsible for executing the designs was likewise exceptional. They were hardworking, courteous, respectful, and professional. Special kudos to Tyler and J-rod! We have already recommended Seely's to several of our neighbors and will continue to suggest to others that they contact Seely's for any of their outdoor hardscape and/or landscape needs.

We moved last Fall from Indiana where we had a large yard and several large planting areas. We now…read moreown a wonderful one-floor condo with much smaller areas to plant, and most of those areas unplanted. A broken wrist stopped me from planting in Spring and early Summer, but I sallied forth today with a list of nearby nurseries. Seely's was first on my list, and I didn't need to go farther. They have an impressive selection of trees, shrubs, flowers, and leafy perennials. Their Hosta selection is the largest I've ever seen. At a guess I'd say they have at least 100 different varieties. It's incredible! The Seely's employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. Julie hauled my cart all through the many plants, giving me advice on what plants would work with my East and West-facing planting areas. When I found one of my favorite plants looking a bit scraggly late in the season, she pruned the leggy parts off and left the beautifully formed inner stems and leaves for me. She was patient as I back-tracked to revisit plants I was interested in. Then she helped me load all my plants and a couple bags of Sweet Peat mulch/soil enhancer into the back of my Outback. I will definitely return to Seely's as I fill out my garden areas in the coming years. And I'll definitely watch for Julie when I do. This nursery doesn't look like much from the road, but it is truly a hidden gem! Check it out the next time you have landscaping and gardening needs!
