Esteban Ramon is nothing more than a true scam artist as many others have also stated. There is absolutely no way that the five star reviews he has are credible. He'll do anything and everything you need until he receives the deposit. Then, all that follows are excuses, one after another. "i'm addressing a family matter" "i'm addressing an issue with a project" "i'll call you right back" "i'm out of the country" I contracted Esteban for basic restaurant drawings with MEP to submit to the city on December 9 2022. Drawing in which he apparently already had on file because he claimed to have done the work for the business that previously occupied the space. Therefore, the only work was to simply adjust minor items. Today is February 10th 2023 and I have yet to receive a response other than an excuse let alone any sort of progress with my project. There are so many quality, trustworthy, and most importantly, respectful companies out there to work with. Avoid the scamming and disrespectful nature this human carries. During our first meeting with Esteban we explained to him EXACTLY what we wanted. Since we didn't purchase plans online he had to draw them up, we provided over half the dimensions to him. A few days later we received a blueprint without anything we discussed during our meeting. He told us to give him time and he would shape it into our dream home but to make corrections to the drawing with a sharpie. I printed the drawing, made the changes and sent them back. A week later we received the drawing again with only 1 of the few changes we requested. Once again I printed the blueprint and made the corrections again. A week or two later we received another blueprint. This time it had our requested changes yet he made the square footage smaller (not what we asked him to do). Kicked it back again. A week went by and we got no response. Two weeks went by, still nothing. We would call him, no response. Text him, no response. Email him, no response. Show up to his office and he wasn't there. After 1 month of no responses we had to involve our home builder. After a couple of weeks he told our home builder he no longer wanted to deal with us (the clients) he only wanted to deal with the home builder. Last time I checked we the clients were paying for his service and not the home builder. After almost 3 months of being lied to, and receiving no responses he finally gave our home builder the blueprints after he refused to hand them over until we paid him the final balance. Esteban was the worst person to deal with, he made the beginning of our home building process a complete NIGHTMARE.

Then the price kept being added to, going under the house was extra (duh - how else are you really going to inspect!) travel, etc. Then I was told he could work Saturdays. Then I get call saying he had to cancel that Saturday. I called back and was transferred to ... HIS WIFE! She then explained he couldn't work any saturday due to family obligations - kids, sports, etc., as if the whole world doesn't have the same obligation. I mean, he knew he had kids before he said he does Saturday appointments didn't he? O.K. I change my appointment to suit them during the week. I get a call the morning of to tell me if he came - he wouldn't be able to do everything due to impending rain. I asked if he would come back to complete the inspection and was told he would have to charge again - extra travel, etc. I asked them to call me to reset the appointment on one of two days they told me he was free and to get back to me as to which day. They didn't. I called the office and left a message and they didn't call me back. Then I called and left a message on his cell and he didn't call me back. I figured they decided they didn't want to come out and do it. Then on a Friday, I get a call from....HIS WIFE (they do have another girl that works there), that began something like, "I know we had scheduled an appointment for today but..." To which I interrupted and said - No we didn't. I explained I called both places and didn't get a call back and she said, "Oh, they both probably thought one or the other had called you back." Then - AGAIN - I reset the schedule to suit HER, ahem, I mean his travel schedule as he was going to be out of town for 2 weeks. She tells me she will call me to confirm since the appointment was scheduled so far in advance. They didn't call - again, I called to confirm. I was transferred to his wife (GUESS WHO DOES THE CONTROLLING IN THAT FAMILY!) She started something like "Oh, I was going to call you..." Then she states that they would be unable to service me because they were advised not to due to the fact that I needed his findings for legal purposes and they didn't want to take any of these on. Also this business is associated with Keller Williams - whether through marriage or something I don't know for sure but it is that business that comes up on Caller ID. I don't have a problem with a business not taking on certain types of inspections - but they delayed the process by several months with all the changes - then to have the audacity not to do it?!! They should have told me so to begin with. And to have the "Wife" tell me? POOR, POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would give you less than one star but you must enter at least one. You could tell your wife I said so - I'm not afraid of her!
