Durastone was a great choice to change large vanity in master bedrooms and medium cabinet in guest bathroom. I previously bought a vanity for my upstairs bathroom and the difference in the cabinets are amazing. I bought the third one from Home Depot and six months later I want to replace it. The doors are peeling and hanging off the hinges Whereas, my cabinets from Durastone are wood doors and not wrapped in whatever material my other cabinet is made of. I have been shopping for a 60" large vanity and getting price between $1500 and $1900. At Durastone, I worked with Amy to design cabinets to fit the space. She is such a friendly and helpful person. I sent her measurement and pictures. She sent a recommended design with a price. I went into the store and selected grey shaker cabinets and added my second bathroom which was 36". My price for both cabinets was under 1500 They installed and removed old cabinets as well. Finally got on the granite countertop train. Yep, I'm a little late to the granite party, but I did get there! Durastone did my granite countertops in both my kitchen and master bath, plus my new tile backsplash. I am normally so skeptical of things like this, that cost a lot of money and rely on contract workers to get the job done right. All I can say is, the entire experience was well worth it. They have a huge selection of granite and tile. You actually select your piece of granite. They were ready a week earlier than they said, and asked if I'd like to move up my installation. Um, yeah I did. I had to take 2 days off work, as the granite was done one day, the tile the next. So, the granite installers show up on time, and while I stayed in another room, I heard banging, rumbling, and all sorts of other fun noises. At one point, I went into my kitchen, which was a dusty disaster area. They had one large piece of the granite installed, and I knew this was going to be good. The tile guys showed up the next day, again on time, and again created an enormous mess. But they, and the granite guys before them, cleaned up about as well as they could. They did something a little different with the tile than I had orginally planned, but the main guy told me about his idea and I went with it. Came out even better, given the configuration of my wall. Horrible customer service however they have great prices. We have been dealing with this company for a month now and we are on a stand still because Dura stone have yet to deliver and install our counter tops. I have called Yadira( lady at the front desk three times) and she has yet to return my phone call. Today we walk in and ask when will they deliver our countertops. She tells us that the guy who installs the counter tops isn't in today and she doesn't understand why we aren't on the books. This is not acceptable. We first had the run around with installing our cabinets now we are having the run around with our countertops. I will never use this company again. read more

I purchased pantry cabinets with pull out drawers and the assembly of the cabinets from Yadira. I was told they would be ready in two days, a week later they were not ready. When the cabinets were ready, only one set of drawers was available and I ordered two. so I waited again. When I picked up the cabinets they were assembled and wrapped. When I opened them at home the drawers were not there and two of the 4 doors had gauges in them the top of one cabinet was splintered and there were scratches on another door. My plan was to cancel the drawers, but the owner told me he would send someone out to repair the doors and insert the drawers. The first appointment no one showed, when I called Yadira (it took 2 days and 5 calls to get a response) I was told the appointment was changed to 5 days later without consulting me or notifying me. He was to arrive at 930-he did not show, when I called I was told he would come at 11 or 12. When he arrived he inserted the drawers , but knew nothing abut the repairs to the cabinets and said it couldn't be done. I am so frustrated with the customer service, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

I am very happy with my entire experience with Durostone. I had never bought Granite counter tops before and Martha helped me by explaining all of the different options that i have and she gave me free quotes on each option. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The next day I came back with my wife to see what counter she liked best and Lee assisted us in making the purchase. There were no long lines and the customer service was great! Lee told me it would be 7 days before I could get my counters installed, but when I told him I was on a tight timeline to put my house on the market he bumped me up to only a 2 day wait! awesome! Every other business in Houston/Spring told me it would take at least 2 weeks and it took forever to get anyone to help me. Horrible experience! I don't know where to start. The first guy who came to measure wasn't the cabinet guy. He was the stone guy. He couldn't answer our questions. He finally said" I don't know why they sent me I'm the stone guy"Getting any kind of commitment is a joke. I had to call 3 times to pay and tell them YES I want your cabinets. They lost our order. Call backs were left all up to us. They Never called us. Gave appliance part numbers and dimensions as requested. The appliances did not fit! They charged us more to add wood to make them fit! It was Awful. Getting granite from some place else. ! I'm done with these people!! read more

Beautiful countertops, but very disappointing service. We moved into a new home and replaced our old laminate countertops with quartz. We chose to go with Durastone because we thought it was going to be a full service company (fabrication, installation, etc.) and the price was competitive for the countertops we wanted. When we chose to go with Durastone, it did take a bit of time to have our calls returned and everything set up. Once the countertops were installed, we were a bit shocked. The laminate backsplash was haphazardly ripped up and there were areas on our walls where the stud was exposed. We also have molding under a high bar top that is separated from the countertop now by about an inch. No one ever told us it was going to look so messy, and if we knew it was going to look like that, we wouldn't have done the work. Durastone said we just need to have a finishing carpenter come out to fix the mess. All other calls we've made to reach a resolution have gone unreturned. Very disappointing. read more
