Food 2 stars, but bumped to 3 stars for kind and efficient service. I wasn't expecting authentic Chinese food, but I'd say Asia Grille ranks below Panda Express for quick Chinese takeout. The space is clean and large inside, but there barely any customers filling the seats. In comparison to other Chinese takeout places, their prices are steeper. No problem with that if the food is better, but that wasn't the case. Thankfully the food was made to order, so it tasted ok within the first 20 minutes. The chicken was already dry though, and the fried rice was mediocre. It is a decent portion, but the leftovers are nearly inedible. The rice tastes chalky, dry, and tasteless when reheated. The chicken more dry as expected too. You need a glass of water to wash it all down. Honestly, you likely have better options, but if you must, you can eat here - just try not to have any leftovers. read more

Nice balance of meat and filling I ordered the appetizer combo for my meal which came with pork fried rice it was good but plain, 2 beef teriyaki sticks okay could have been grilled longer, boneless spare ribs very good the sauce is really good, 4 sticky chicken wings the sauce was good but the chicken could have been cooked longer next time I know to say well done. Fast service and very attentive waitress. The pu-pu platter for two comes with a lot of food. I am always a person who likes a little bit of everything at a Chinese food restaurant. Only downside is I think there should be more of other foods than chicken wings. Atmosphere was calming and comfortable with both style seating. The Asia Lo Mein was delicious and a huge portion. I've come here various times and I haven't gotten bored of it since each dish I've tried has been consistently good but with different flavors and well priced. The portions are BIG and I really like that the food isn't (really) greasy like most traditional take out spots. Some other highlights include that the chicken in the general tso appears to be fresh white meat and the vegetables are always cooked to perfectly in every dish and are very fresh. I've never tried anything that was too spicy that it was bothersome or intolerable so I enjoy their heat index. It's conveniently located in garden city which means you can shop around before or after. Parking can be difficult sometimes since the shopping center is usually busy but it takes no more than 5-10 minutes to find something on the worst days. After a good stretch of quality (albeit a tad pricy) orders for a couple years, lately the food quality has been leaving me feeling pretty meh. First, the combo prices are now pretty crazy at about $15. Gone are the old days of those gigantic combos for like $7.95. My last order just lacked freshness and flavor. The rice was on the bland side, chicken was dry and over cooked (or twice cooked), and the egg roll was dark brown on the outside yet tasted like raw flour and a bit doughy on the inside. For the $15, you get enough food for one serving, barely a bit more, whereas I swear that in the past the container was packed completely full and would be at least 2 servings, for a lesser price too. A few times I have gotten notified my order was complete in just 5 minutes. It seems like the food is likely cooked ahead of time. I am willing to try Asia Grille another time or two, but in the meantime excited to try new places for takeout. read more

Underwhelmed! My spouse wanted to give this place a try and was very pleased with the King Po. My sweet/sour chicken looked delicious and that was where it stopped. Asia Grille has two establishments in RI. One of them is currently doing take out only, which is a shame. This newer location in Cranston offers dine in service and follows all safety protocols. My friend and I sat at the bar which had the plexiglass partitions every two seats. The bartender was very pleasant and took our drink order. The menu is quite extensive and prices were great. As you can see by the pictures the food looked great, and tasted even better. My chicken was garlicky and a little spicy, the vegetables were so fresh and tasty, and the rice and egg roll was perfect. If you're in the area , you must check Asia Grille out. The king po chicken has the most disgustingly cooked chicken with no flavor, because the chicken is so runny the sauce literally falls off of it. Don't get this. The service was good, nice people. I used to frequent the Asia grille in Lincoln and it was always on point. Since I moved and I'm so much closer to the one in Cranston I didn't hesitate to go in. What a mistake that was. The service is friendly, however, I was there for the food! Let me tell you, don't do it! It's dry, under seasoned, overcooked and just plain disgusting. What a horrible mess this was. I fought to not pay but still ended up paying a portion of the bill. They should be embarrassed serving the stuff they did. It's a disgrace. I will never make this mistake again. My first time here was a ticketed event to see the hip hop violist who was playing at the gazebo. Tickets were $15 and it guaranteed you a seat on their patio for the duration of the concert 6:30-8:30 with check in being at 6:00. I arrived around 5:40 and they said they could seat us tight away. Not only did you get your own table but it also included unlimited Sangria or Punch (both alcoholic) and a mini buffet which consisted of lo mein, crab rangoon and spring rolls-and it kept coming and coming and coming. Best rangoons I've had in a long time. Everything was fresh and hot. You could also order from the menu which my friend did and she raved about the beef in oyster sauce. It was WAY worth the price of $15! Service was wonderful!! Hope they do it again next year because I will make sure I secure my tickets early! read more

I am usually spot on when it comes to checking out a new place to eat but I am afraid this was a bit of a fail. :-( We were greeted warmly and our server was very friendly. And, although the portions of food were HUGE, the quality of the meal was quite disappointing. We order the steamed dumplings that were served cold. My daughter's food was not fully cooked (the waiter comped us for that since she couldn't eat it). My chicken pad Thai was a big pile of pad and very little chicken. We asked for chopsticks and were never given any. I ordered a Manhattan that is supposed to be whisky and sweet vermouth but what I got was probably about 3 shots of whisky - that is a bit much for me. I couldn't drink it. The store doesn't offer delivery unless you order online with DoorDash, GrubHub Ect. Which is completely fine with me. Yet they also don't allow you to add "special requests" when you order online (I.E. no sauce, or sauce on the side) So I'm forced to place my DoorDash order online and then call the store, tell them I just placed an order online and that I would like no sauce on my meal, just a tad counter productive if you ask me. Then I get told "you can't make special requests when you order online, I'll have to see if they already put sauce on it or not since the order was already placed". All I want is no sauce on my meal and it's like pulling teeth every time, just make it an option to request no sauce when you order online since the last time I checked, DoorDash orders have to be done online. read more

Ordered Kung Pao chicken it was okay sauce was a bit thick and coagulated and some pieces of chicken were tough and chewy. My husband got the Chicago chow main it was really awful. Whoever is cooking here, isn't cooking with enough salt & seasoning! The food is bland, with little to no taste. There's barely any soy sauce. I ordered the Mongolian beef combo plate -- the beef was tender, the fried rice had a great taste and was dark in appearance -- seems hard to find a good fried rice these days -- and the egg roll was stuffed with shrimp and pork. The vegetables in the dish were crisp, not flimsy like they were over cooked or sitting around all day/night. Fresh food. My GF isn't an egg roll fan but said this was a damn good one -- she would eat it again. The restaurant is clean and following COVID protocols. Just went to this location for a second time. They are following covid protocols. Asked for information upon being seated, everyone was wearing masks correctly, booths and tables spread out appropriately and they were sanitizing. Sanitizer also available to customers. My party was sat quickly and with my favorite waitress. The inside is clean, they have options of high tops, booths, tables. There is a bar but closed currently due to covid restrictions. My order was placed and less than ten minutes later I had food in front of me. It was hot and tasted just like Lincoln's location. Crab rangoons cooked perfectly, same with the steamed dumplings.
