#13 Chicken and Broccoli lunch special
    Jasmine D.

I was skeptical about coming here because I'm super picky about where I eat Chinese food since I have my staple places in NY. 4 seasons is now added to a staple restaurant for when im visiting Rhode Island! Upon entering we were greeted warmly and sat down quickly. Our waiter came to take our order and he was very nice. We got the eggrolls as an appetizer and the lunch special as our entrée. The lunch special was kind of hard to find because it was at the back of the menu. The lunch special came with chicken and broccoli soup two wings and a choice of white rice or fried rice all for $10.50. Everything was really delicious. You should def stop by 4 seasons if you are in the area!

Sooooooo good!!! Fried rice is yummy! I have had so many dishes from here and I loved the all! Must try!

Beef Stew Noodle Soup - highly recommend

Food fresh and made to order. Service was fast. There was plenty of options on the menu and you could customize your spice level if needed. I enjoyed the Beef Stew Soup which includes bean sprouts and noodles. About 2 days later, I returned for the Cambodian Classic Beef. It was good too but a little saltier. Only draw back with that too is that rice is not included so you have to pay $3 for rice.

This Pan Asian restaurant has a large menu, so it has many options for pretty much any customer. We got 3 things: - Spare Ribs. They were meaty and well seasoned, they were warm and tasty. The best of the three things we ordered. - Scallion pancakes. They were crispy and plentiful. Not a lot of scallion flavor, more like a savory doughboy dish. - Stir fry vermicelli noodles with chicken. I asked for them to be done with less sauce, less sodium. The dish came out still pretty heavily seasoned. I thought this was going to be similar to a Mei Fun, but it was not. Lots of noodles, very little vegetables, very little chicken. Overall an OK meal, nothing to rush back for.....anytime soon.

4Seasons never disappoints!! We've been going for about 25 years now, the food is made with love and can heal just about anything, it was our lunch stop after my chemo and radiation treatments 20 years ago, and each time I came out feeling so much better. This day we brought mom here for Mother's Day dinner. Got here around 4 and we were seated right away! We got our usual apps; nime chow (the best around, it's all in how tight the roll is, ) and natang (no one in the state has this on the menu, it's soooo gooood!!) Mom got her shrimp fried rice, and hubby got the combination BeeBong. I ordered something I never have. The crispy fish was striped bass and topped with veggies and a yummy lemongrass sauce. Definitely order it!! Worth it! Lovely, thank you to the staff and chefs, another lovely dinner in the books. We'll be sure not to wait so long this time to come in again!!

Another outstanding return visit to our go-to Asian restaurants. From the highest quality of food...to the best service, you can't go wrong no matter what you choose from the menu. Today opted for a combination of beef and shrimp with rice noodles. This provided with fresh vegetables and a chili paste for bringing the heat as desired. The bone broth was outstanding tonight! We will be back and hope will please take the time as Four Seasons is just off of Route 10 in Providence and waiting for right now!!

We chose to come to 4 Seasons before heading to Roger Williams Zoo for the JackoLatern Festival. We arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night expecting a small wait but there was a table for four being cleaned up just as we came in and we sat there 2 minutes later. Our server was exceptionally great, he was attentive and answered all the questions we had about the menu. We ordered two lychee martinis and unfortunately there were no fresh lychees, so our server made extra of the martini and basically gave us 4 for the price of 2. As we were waiting for the food, families started coming in for their Friday dinners and the dining room was bustling. We ordered a few orders of Nime Chow, which were fresh and the perfect starter. We also got the boneless ribs, lemongrass sauce wings, chicken loc lac, seafood delight, combination lort noodles and a hawaiian fried rice. The food came out very quickly and our table was filled with food before we knew it. The chicken wings were sloppy and messy but in the best way and the sauce was excellent. The lort noodles were probably my favorite of the night, I haven't had noodles in that shape before but I'll seek it out from now on. The chicken loc lac was very flavorful, savory, sweet and a little sour- it was the perfect pairing to go with the fried rice. The seafood delight was probably the least popular dish, it was a bit plain compared to all the other flavorful dishes but it was presented nicely in a fried potato bowl. Four Seasons is a great place for anyone looking to dip their toes into Cambodian food and the people working there are extremely kind and helpful. The price we paid for the amount of food and drinks we had was also a pleasant surprise!

Beef Pho with meat on the side. (I don't like well done meat, medium rare please)

First time here. I got seated pretty quick. The restaurant was not too loud and pretty spacious. Ordered a beef pho, regular size. Broth to me was okay nothing that stood out in flavor personally. I had to ask for sugar, so I could add to the broth. The menu has a huge selection. I will be coming back to give it another shot and to try out other dishes.

    Shrimp fried rice

Cane here late night with a few friends and honestly was blown away from the level of customer service we received. Extremely polite and generous. We stayed until close and they did not rush us one time. Extremely polite! The wings are the absolute star of the show. The jalapeño wings are an absolute must. Sweet and spicy wings were great as well. Chicken wings are regular sized and not too big or small and the chicken isn't tough cooked through. They are perfect! The shrimp fried rice was good nothing too special but still fine to eat. My least favorite dish was the general tsos chicken as it was very tough and difficult to cut. I probably wouldn't purchase it again but I would definitely come back for the wings and egg rolls and to try some additional dishes!

    Tofu pad Thai
    Candice S.

The food here was pretty good. The shrimp and broccoli had way too much rice, but it was cooked very well. The pad Thai was also pretty good. I just wish the eggs were better mixed into the meal and the noodles weren't as sticky. I would definitely return for takeout as it was a good experience.

Banger ginger & scallion fried soft-shell crab

We've been searching for a replacement since our favorite go-to place (Silver Crystal) closed - and I think we found it! 4 Seasons doesn't offer all the same dishes as our previous fave did, but it offers many that are similar and most important of all, the flavor and quality match! On this first visit we enjoyed a terrific salt & pepper squid (4 Seasons lists it as "Salted jalapeno squid") which was tender lightly-battered calamari with just the right amount of salt and hot peppers; a solid baby bok choy with oyster sauce; and an excellent fried soft-shell crab in ginger sauce, crispy and soft/juicy crab with a banger ginger and scallion flavoring. The service was friendly and prompt. We will be looking forward to future visits to try more items!

Can't wait to be there again

I miss the spot. Can't wait to be back home soon. I've been going to the spa for over 20 years and there's a reason why I always come back home to it.

By the time we left 4 other groups came in to dine and 3 or 4 pick up orders. Excellent food here. Hubby got the shrimp pho. Ginormous bowl with a flavorful broth. I got the fried fish with ginger scallion. A bit messy to eat but probably the best fish I ever ate in my life. It was fried whole (almost whole. No head included) and over a salad of lettuce, cucumber, and tomato then slathered with the most delicious ginger scallion sauce ever. In my head I was thinking that this would be an excellent keto meal but the sauce definitely has some sweetness and thickened with cornstarch. We also ordered chicken nime chow. The chicken is not sauced or anything so you would think it would be plain tasting. But what ever they do to it it brings out the flavor of the chicken. The dipping sauce was not super flavorful. Slightly sweet and acidic topped with crushed peanuts. Teapot was served with a very fragrant tea. Had to ask for a refill. All these dishes plus one Vietnamese iced coffee came to just under $50 Will probably come here again.

I had done some research and knew it was a small space so I was praying there would be enough open tables. When we talked in, there were about 3 tables open. It took a bit to get seated since the host/ server was busy getting together online orders and bringing out food to other customers. But after a couple minutes, we were allowed to pick our own table. They have 3 two person tables to the left, on an elevated platform. To the far front of the space, there were two booths which could easily fit 4 people each. To the right there were 3 tables for 4-5 people each. We went with the bigger table, but moved after a couple minutes to another table for a more private setting. For an appetizer, we put in an order of crab rangoons. As my entrée, I ordered the Khao Soi with seafood and my friend ordered the beef salad which comes with sticky rice. The crab rangoons came out after about 10 minutes. They looked crispy, and were wrapped in a cute, round way. The filling wasn't as creamy as I wish it would be, but it did taste a bit healthier than regular Chinese take out. The entress came out after about another 10 minutes. My Khao Soi came out with a big bowl, with some lime and peanuts on the side. I asked for more lime and cilantro on the side. The broth was a very vibrant color, creamy, sweet, a little tangy from the lime, and because of the cilantro had a fresh and clean flavor. I loved the combination of all the flavors, and it reminded me of a curry. The noodles were soft, but not falling apart and there was a good amount of it. There was plenty of seafood including calamari, shrimp, and mussels. The calamari was a little tough but the other items were good. I loved the crispy shallots on top as they provided an additional sweet but savory element. I finished the entire thing. My friend's salad was good. It was simple in that it was salads and herbs with minced meat but it tasted good. The sticky rice came in a ball wrapped in aluminum foil, and then put into their authentic little basket so it was full to pull apart. They do have a dessert menu and we were offered some, but I had no space. It seemed like the server was handling a lot at once so kudos to him and the small but mighty team in the back cooking everything up. I would be interested in trying other items on their menu.

At first glance, you don't see much from Elmwood Ave, but veer to the right and everything opens up on the left, with a parking lot in the back. Ornate statues lead you to the entrance, and once inside you are instantly greeted with bold colors and beautiful art everywhere. I wanted to take the opportunity to try some Cambodian food, so after some quick research, I opted for Beef Lok Lak, which happened to be one of the lunch combos. I chose fried rice and nime chow for my lunch options and settled back to wait for my feast. They bring you a complementary pot of hot tea, which I enjoyed. I believe it was a straightforward unsweetened black tea. Perfect for me. Before long the rangoons arrived. I literally said "wow" when the runner set my plate down. Beautiful golden brown, small bubbles visible all over the outside, promising crispy goodness. And it delivered. What I didn't expect what the slight chewiness to the wrapper that enhanced the experience. The filling was super creamy and delicious, but I prefer my rangoons with scallions as well. However, that didn't stop me from enjoying every bite. Then my lunch came. The beef was perfectly cooked, the dressing tangy and peppery. The nime chow was herby and super fresh as it should be. And the rice had this extra depth of flavor that made me think of tomato paste? A lovely addition the dish. I had a great meal here and the rangoons are definitely worth having! I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu!!

For the longest, I thought Apsara on Hope St and this Apsara were the same owners, different locations but I was fooled. They are different, so I came on a Saturday evening with my friend to give this one a try. They have a parking lot but it is small. However, there is lots of street parking around. When we walked in, every table was full and we had to wait about 20-30 minutes to be seated. Since we had time to look at the menu while we waited, we ordered right away: BBQ beef, stir fried thin egg noddle with seafood, and thai garlic chicken wings. While waiting for the food, I had ample time to take in my surroundings, including all the elegant décor around the restaurant including a lot of red and gold colors. Our food came out all together after about 20-30 minutes. The portion sizes were excellent, and all the food was still hot. The beef was cooked perfectly (for me) and cut into manageable strips. It was tender, a hint of sweet, and savory. It came with some sweet pickled shaved radish, cabbage, and carrots with cucumber. This with the meat created a contrast in texture and amplified the sweetness. There was also a clear sauce and that was also really.good. The fried noodles were delicious. They were thin so it seemed like the flavor penetrated inside the noodle. It had a good amount of seafood including big chunks of imitation crab meat, shrimp, and something else I was unfamiliar with. It also had mustard leaves; they weren't bitter, they just had a neutral green leaf flavor (maybe spinach but stronger). The chicken wing order came with about 8 wings, sitting on a bed of cabbage and topped with jalapeno and chili peppers. They were still very hot and crispy, and had a savory and a subtle umelike flavor. I wish the garlic flavor were stronger. I am excited to come back again and try something new on the menu.

One downside is that they don't have physical menus for the food, it's a QR code. To me, it can be overwhelming to scroll through so many options and remember them along the way. We finally settled on shrimp nime chow, pork belly drunken noodles, and Thai style chicken wings. Our waitress was very helpful in giving us suggestions and explaining some of the foods. I am very glad the food came out little by little as it allowed us to eat everything while it was fresh and hot. The wings came out first and they looked magnificent. They were glowing, crispy, and topped with goodness (crispy garlic, sautéed jalapeño peppers and onions). The jalapeño did not make the wings spicy. They did have a tiny hint of spice, but the sweet and savory flavors definitely overshadowed it. I drizzled some of the oil on the plate of the wings back onto the wings, but also on some of the other food we ordered since it was that good. The order came with about 4 whole wings, and 4 drum stick parts of the wing which definitely justified the price. We ate about half of them and took the rest with us. Next, was the nime chow. I noticed they these were made with a little less love since the ingredients inside were not equally dispersed. However, the flavor was good. I wish it had more Thai basil. Lastly, the drunken noodles came out. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, and it came with a good amount of fried pork belly. It was my first time have pork belly as a protein for drunken noodles but it worked really well. The dish was very flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly and well coated with flavor. Since we were the only customers there, we received all the attention. We also noticed they had a pretty good playlist going. For everything we ordered, it came out to about $50 which wasn't bad. I will definitely be coming back to try other menu items.

Their crab rangoons are some of the best- do not pass them up!! On this most recent visit I got the pineapple fried rice, and this is probably the second time I've had it. I got shrimp in it, and while there were only a few shrimps in it- it was still very tasty! The pineapple and carrots are perfectly cooked- not too hard- and the cashews add a nice crunch. And everything is very flavorful! Dining in? It's a small place and I've seen it get busy, so plan accordingly! There's a lot of windows, it's dim, good for a night out with a friend or with a group. It's on the corner of Ives street so it's street parking, but I'm usually able to find a spot on the side street!
