It was our first time there. The egg rolls were great but not enough dipping sauce, the hot and sour soup was great (lightly sweet and spicy). Fried rice was bland and chicken was pounded out of existence and mostly bread but the flavor was good. I ordered Mongolian BEEF not Mongolian ONION. I am not interested in paying $13 for a bunch of grilled onions. This dish should also be made with green onions and dried red peppers which we're not in the dish. The little bit of beef that was in the dish was not worth eating. read more

My family has been eating at the Asian Bistro for several years. Sometimes we eat in; sometimes we have take out. In fact, we're ordering take out tonight. It's always good. Not sure about even giving this place a one star. Ordered our food. I got Red curry chicken, the chicken didn't look done and the tased way to sweet. My mom ordered prawns, they were cooked a little too much but still edible. They only had one waitress and she went into the kitchen and never came back out. So there was no way for me to complain about my food. When she did come out after my mom was done eating. She asked if I wanted a box for my food I told her I didn't like it. She didn't offer to make me something different and still made me pay for my meal. Never going back read more

We were hesitant to try this little place because I think years back it might have been owned by someone else and the food wasn't that great. However, we heard from enough people that said they enjoyed the food so we gave it a shot. It was very tasty and the service was excellent. I should have known when the place was full of white people and NO Asians that this was a bad idea. This was the most bland boring Chinese food I have ever had the misfortune of eating. I'm Chinese and I eat a lot of it. The only good thing was the Egg Drop Soup. I could tell this family works really hard and I'm glad they have a lot of white customers that don't know what Chinese food is supposed to taste like - so at least they will stay in business. Won't waste my money here again. Ordered sweet and sour chicken take-out for lunch. Chicken was flavorless and tasted like reheated food. Mixed in with the chicken was a spoonful of a couple pieces of dirty carrots, onion, and pineapple. It was served with white rice and a large portion of sweet and sour sauce that tasted like super sweet, pre-made sauce. It was pretty disappointing. The portions were fine but nothing to brag about. This is my favorite place to get Pad Thai!!! The owners/operators are the nicest people and work so hard. The food is amazing, I have not eaten one thing there that I was disappointed in. I eat there about three days a week for work lunch! I would recommend this place to anyone and I have:) Prices are great and you get a large portion that wont leave you feeling hungry an hour after you have left. The food tasted good, the service was very nice. But unfortunately had a bad reaction to the MSG monosodium glutamate. I should have asked if they use it. That night I couldn't sleep, my heart was racing, and anxiety - even a suicidal thought (I am sensitive to it). I phoned the next day and they said they do use. Mostly in the Chinese dishes and brown sauce. I wish they wouldn't use it. It can cause serious reactions for people. read more

We get great Chinese takeout here. My favorite place is just across the border in Canada but as I hate crossing the border this is the place we go. This place is less greasy than other places and they don't use MSG. It's very good Chinese food, highly recommend. Way better than the Haggenese across the street. read more

We're from Oregon and just passing through and decided to try this place. The worst thing about this place is that it's not in our home town so we can go here every week. We loved it! The people were friendly and helpful. The fish and chicken were cooked to perfection. Each dish was full of flavor and the spice level adjusted to our liking. Look for another place to eat! The Chicken was horrible and spongy like a Macdonald's chicken nugget. No flavor at all. The rice had the texture of oatmeal and was over cooked. I would prefer minute rice over this rice. Water was served in a plastic cup. Tasted like pool water and dish soap. The best part of the meal was the fortune cookie. We went here last night for dinner. The first thing the waitress said toys was you can't have soup with your meal we are out. I asked for a bud light and they were out. She said how about a coors light instead. I said no thank you, do you have Budweiser? She said yes. We then placed our order we got a combination plate for appetizers, which was ok for the most part. My wife ordered sweet and sour chicken and was told they were out of sweet and sour sauce but could make up some. The sauce had a ketchup flavor to it. I ordered the happy family which I always get, it didn't taste nowhere as good as the previous times I have had it. When we were finished the waitress noticed my wife hardly ate any of her food and my wife told her about the taste of the sauce. She had no comment. A couple came in about 30 minutes before closing and were told they couldn't dine in, they could only get take out. The waitress used a very rude tone with them. They turn around and walked out. we enjoyed going to the asian bistro for many years, but we will never step foot in there again!!!!! we ordered chicken/vegetables dishes and realized that most of the chicken was not meat but skin!!!! we told our waitress who said she would talk to the boss/chef and bring us a half order of something else. (i wanted her to show the chef our plate half filled with chicken skin, but she said no). when she brought out a large serving of shrimp i knew it wasn't a half order, but thought they were going to make up for our dinner. to our surprise when we got our bill we were not only charged for the chicken but also charged for the shrimp!!!! our bill came to over $50.00. we were both aghast!!!! no, never again. a good restaurant would not have charged us for the replacement of our initial order!!!!! read more

It seems that they aren't use to larger crowds so if you are in the area for a tournament or event I'd reconsider coming here. They place literally has one waitress working this whole place.
