Incredible!!!! I wish I could remember what I ordered for doordash! It was absolutely amazing! I had the Pho with quail eggs, shrimp, and beef. The broth was so flavorful with a great portions. Went into this restaurant for the first time after work today. Absolutely love it. Service was fast and friendly - I was immediately seated, and once I ordered, the food came out fast and hot! There needs to be a time for them to stop taking orders, I had a party of three come in around 7:50 but the shop closes at 8. Instead of telling us they're closing, they let us order. The dude was super rude the WHOLE TIME, and the whole time my party was eating, the dude that works there was just watching us like we weren't supposed to be there. my food was cold, and super dry, no flavor or ANYTHING. The shop was quiet, and the energy inside was tense. And after we finished eating, whil we were driving on the road, the man who works there TAILGATED us for about a mile. I've only had the opportunity to come in a couple of times, but have tried a good bit of their menu and I like it! I always get the bun bo hue. The flavor is good, the portion is great for the price and there's a ton of meat which is awesome. It's not the correct noodle - they're slightly too thin and they don't serve it with banana blossom or shredded lettuce or anything, but it definitely does the trick. We've also gotten the banh xeo which was tasty and plentiful, just not crispy. The fresh rolls and egg rolls were also pretty standard. The hu tieu is a nice offering, if you're not looking for pho and so is the duck noodle soup! The service is also very friendly! read more

After a long day's drive, we were starving for some good Pho and chose this for its name off the mapquest suggestion (came up as What the Pho*k). We thought it was clever and of course, the food would be just as good, right? RIGHT? No, it was the absolute worst food I've ever had. The first clue was that it was completely deserted on a Friday night. Second clue, out of eggrolls, then the initial dish my Daughter ordered (pork with glass noodles) was also unavailable. (Remember, no one else is in the joint!) So we settled on a replacement pork dish and 2 chicken teriyaki orders. We were served a completely different chicken dish and tried sending it back, but was told to try it while our meals were being prepared. It was not good. Then they brought out the dishes we had ordered and they were all inedible. The chicken was bitter and full of bones. My youngest's braces caught a bone and we were worried that a bracket was destroyed! The pork was very sour. We ended up leaving all the dishes on the table and now understand the name of the place. We walked in and it smelled like cigarette smoke. I ordered my pho without tofu; it came with a big pile of tofu. I ordered it with vegan broth, which I have to assume was correct because it was the blandest pho broth I've ever tasted. Clearly made by someone who's never eaten a meatless meal in their lives. We went to What A Pho in Bellingham to try Banh Xeo, a Vietnamese crepe, which is not always served in Vietnamese restaurants. The restaurant is small and not attractive from outside but with many nice pictures/posters inside and out. The staff were pleasant and the menu was easy to use. We had Banh Xeo and Bun Bo Hue which were good. The Banh Xeo dish had two crepes which is unusual and was served with fresh vegetables garnish. The crepes were a little greasy but tasted good. The bun Bo hue was very good with lots of different meats and reasonable heat. Service was quick and pleasant. Prices were fair and they appeared to do considerable take out. We went at noon and were the only customers eating in when we arrived. read more

Me and my friends decided to go out. We found "What a Pho" and at first we were gonna leave but felt pressured. So we decided to stay because we felt bad and obviously the menu isn't very big. The place is super small but the real reason i'm here is because the food. I ordered Pho and my friend ordered others. Well after I basically finished I seen a dark thing floating but I thought it was pepper. Then I looked close and it was a frickin fruit fly. I went through my left overs and found more after that i just couldn't do it. I told my friends to check out there's and then one of them found some in here rice. I was so pissed off because of how I finished the whole thing then notice. I told the lady at the cashier and she got mad. Me and my friends still had to pay for this bullshit. I don't recommend eating here unless you like flies. It's disgusting and the rudeness to make us pay was just so pitiful. Would never recommend after this experience. read more
