This place is BANGIN'!!!! Chicken curry is my jam and most places are ok but Asian Delicacies does it CORRECT!! I've honestly never gone inside because I get delivery but I'm definitely going to make the 10 minute journey to go see where this delicious food comes from. The outside looks great because I've been passed it to "get to da choppa" (price chopper lol) so it's about time I go in. I highly recommend this restaurant. I know you'll love it too! Decided to give them another try after quite a few years. Placed two take-out orders several weeks apart. Will not go back. The food is simply too sweet, even the hot and sour soup! General Tso shrimp should have a very light, crispy breading - they use cake batter; the shrimp are not that large and the sauce is undistinguished - the sauce in several frozen (Asian style) entrees is so much better. And finally, their prices are higher than the other Chinese/Asian restaurants in the area. read more

There's not any good Chinese in Warwick. It's just all unhealthy frozen with highly sugared and fried and corn starch sauces. You would be better off to go get some ice cream at Bellvale Creamery. Solid place for Chinese takeout in the area (Vernon/Warwick). We've tried this place twice and it's honestly the best in the area. I like that they have the sauces/to-go utensils right by the checkout/cashier to take what you need. I would just recommend that you double check your takeout order as we've received an incorrect item before (didn't realize until we got home but the upside was that the the dish was still good). read more

The only Chinese takeout in Warwick and the surrounding area that I really, REALLY enjoy! I live the next town over and I pass four Chinese takeout spots before getting to this one. Totally worth the 15 minute drive. First off, you know it's a quality spot because when you walk in, it is extremely clean. I walk into too many takeout spots where I question if I really want to eat food from here. Granted, it's a fairly new building, but they keep it clean, not to mention the customer service and friendliness is exceptional. The combo meals are excellent... I haven't been disappointed yet. I enjoy the General Tso's, Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, and Jalapeno Chicken. The meat is crispy and juicy and the amount of sauce they use is just right. The meat at a lot of other places is too soggy because there's so much sauce. The rice is never overdone and anything that was fried is always crispy: fried wonton, fried dumplings, egg rolls, crab rangoon, etc. etc. Definitely worth it to check out if you're looking for a new takeout spot. It's a takeout Chinese food place. I would read it as one of the best in the local area for variety and overall quality of food. Staff are helpful and service is quick. I live in Vernon New Jersey but come here for the Chinese food. It has a nice waiting area where you can sit. Stopped here for lunch yesterday. Great Chicken with Black Bean sauce. Everything was fresh and tasty. They offer a choice of white rice, pork fried rice or brown rice with the lunch specials. Brown rice was very good. Had a shrimp egg roll and I was sorry I only had one! It was really good and fresh. This restaurant just opened on May 15th. Asian Delicacies is a great take-out restaurant, and I order from them frequently. BUT I have a negative comment today. This is not unique to this restaurant, nor is it in any way anti-anything except bad communication. I am anti-bad communication. The woman who took my order for two items got it all wrong. I don't speak Chinese, and she barely spoke English. I wish this restaurant (and others) would have someone taking orders who was fluent in the language of the average customer. If necessary, hire a high school kid to answer the phone. Anyway, today was a big disappointment, but again, it's a great restaurant (most of the time) and I'll be back. read more

First time - The food was surprisingly bland. Ordered steamed dumplings, happy family, bean curd with broccoli (medium spice) and general tso's chicken. The dumplings were very doughy with a hard meat center, the happy family was bland as was the bean curd with broccoli. The bean curd had literally no flavor at all. The general tsos chicken was more like general tso's sponge. It had an odd flavor and an even odder texture. While we were able to eat the happy family and pick the broccoli from the bean curd with broccoli, and a couple of the dumplings it was not enjoyable. No one ate the general tsos "chicken". I randomly found this restaurant when I was at the grocery store, & I didn't think much. I came in though, and the place was very cute and clean. The service was very friendly and cared what we thought about their food. The food itself is amazing in flavor and presentation and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for Chinese in the area. They have a lunch special that is only 6 75 and includes a drink as well as 100 dishes including vegetarian options. Stumbled on to this place thanks to Yelp. They have gluten free items which is awesome. Unfortunately they use corn starch so my wife who is gf and allergic to corn is out of luck. I had Kung Pao chicken lunch that comes with choice of rice and a free can of soda. All that for $7.55! Food had great quality, no MSG and large portion for that price. I love this Place! I think it's definitely the best place in the area for Chinese food. The staff is very friendly and the food quality is always amazing. I drive half an hour for this place every time I crave Chinese food. The seating area is pretty small but is always clean. I used to work right next door to here and it's always been my go to. Compared to the competition in the area, my wife and I agree, this place wins hands-down. The food was not greasy or drowned in sauce and had a wonderful flavor. The first time that I tried the General Tso's chicken at Asian Delicacies, it was immediately apparent that the chicken they use is of much higher quality than the chicken used at other Chinese restaurants. Placed an order for HUNAN Chicken. Hunan is a spicy dish. I requested XTRA full size red peppers. Get home, Not ONE SINGLE pepper or any small pepper flakes. I called and complained and was offered a free Hunan dish on my next purchase. They use phone your phone # to place and when you pick up your order. I will try again and see if I get charged for the Hunan. If so, I will leave and never come back as well as leave the order sitting there. Having teen/pre Adolescent children run the place is unprofessional IMHO. Open your order in front of them regardless how "busy" they are and check your order before you get home and LOSE IT ! read more

I ordered this morning 4 trays for a family gathering. I am very pleased that they listened to my request of separating the sauce so my guests can just add sauce to their liking. Also the chicken and beef was very tender and well done and the vegetables were cooked just right. The pork fried rice was just how it should be with bean sprouts. My guests really loved it.
