I have lost sleep pondering how (and in what universe) this place has such a high rating. Asian Garden is a pit of sadness and despair that my co-worker and I luckily escaped before the gravitational pull of disappointment kept us waiting any longer for our dessert. First off, they play AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE really bad, BAD dance music from the radio. The kind of radio station that plays the same Katy Perry song every 30 minutes with about 2/3 of that time being commercials. Nothing like dining and having Katy Perry played twice over mega speaker along with a VERY LONG SERIES OF COMMERCIALS. The food. It was... eh. Alot of it. And very cheap. That's all I can really think as to why people love it so much. Its a hole in the wall (which I often find can be hidden treasures for food like this) with terrible tables (straight from the 70's), seating and decoration. The waitress looked miserable and did not smile the entire time (but to give her credit came across very clearly as overworked and overwhelmed). I love this place. Great service, great people, great food. The waitress refills your drinks after your done, they pick up your plates so they don't just sit there, the chef even checks up on you to see if the food is good. Come before 3pm to get a cheap lunch and their sushi is SO good. read more

There's many things to say about this place. 1st is that the best roll they have is the tommy roll. I've tried others and didn't really like them especially ones with fish because they didn't taste fresh. I was basically ordering the tommy roll religiously until now because the past three times I've ordered the seaweed has been old and gross. They've also skimped me out on the number of rolls, and have packed a small to go container with my rolls squished with my boyfriend's rolls and with the wasabi touching my rolls; to say i HATE that green thing is an understatement. It also kinda sucky you can't order online on weekends and if it's a weekday and u order online on a busy day like thursday your order can get lost in translation. I honestly kept returning because those rolls are amazing but it being crappy the last times I've ordered plus all the things that have happened along the way is why I'm going to start trying to make it at home. Good god this is the most amazing place to eat sushi in hialeah. Fresh, clean, and my taste buds had an orgasm. The Yami roll is recommended, their JB roll was off the chart. The salmon is perfection, the fried rice and miso soup was incredible as well as the ginger salad. Hands down this will be my number one go to place. You get a mixture of food for a great price.
