The corn beef and pastrami sandwich is fantastic, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich is fantastic, the Italian is fantastic, and the tuna sandwich is delicious. The prices are fair and not inflated like the majority of Miami. Great chip selection to choose from. Great condiment selection to choose for the sandwiches. I wish I discovered this place years ago... I've seen them online for a while now, but finally moved closer to Hialeah. I'll be back... again and again. read more

Outstanding! I had the pleasure of stopping by for the first time on my recent Miami trip. They were busy when I went to get lunch but service was great. I was greeted immediately by Franky. He was very kind and attentive. He was taking lunch orders from everyone that walked in or called (the incoming phone orders were pretty steady also). Stepped into Franky's and seeing a line and all tables full was not discouraging at all. As you look at the menu that offer an array of traditional sandwiches both hot and cold, there's a variety to choose from and plenty of toppings to customize it to your liking. Greeted by the owner who took our order and was nice and friendly. As busy as it was, our hoagies came out pretty quickly. I believed the hype when I took the first bite. Italian hoagie was the best and every ingredient was fresh and with their spin on a warm Italian was different. We also had the pan con bistec which was good but didn't have any big wow factor. Place had several tables available and saw many folks take their orders to go. It was like a revolving door of customers which is a great sign for any great business as the food is that good! The only drawbacks I experienced were the overcrowding in the small location as well the parking is not good but empties @ a reasonable pace & no wifi available. From the greet, to the service, and to the food....... Simply AMAZING! The tuna pressed was made to perfection. The hot and sweet peppers are the perfect added touch for extra flavor. My friend had the #1 and he cannot stop talking about how good it was. I must say it was stuffed w meat! The mojo sauce is a game changer to dip your chips or mariquitas in. I visited this small deli in an area that is like a warehouse district and was really thrilled when I pulled up and saw a sign saying they were voted top 50 in the US by Yelp, which is a great honor. A lady first helped me, but then Raul stepped in and finished our order. He explained the top 3 menu items and how each one should be ordered. He also mentioned that the Tuna was voted #1 in Florida. I first tried the tuna and added several of their toppings minus olives and it was fresh tasting and likely one of the best tuna sandwiches I've ever eaten. The Italian was a warm sandwich that's toasted, you can also choose cold, but I was in the mood for a warm one. That was also an awesome sandwich. I heard about this Deli from the Paul Castronovo (Big 105.9). So I took a ride from West Kendall to see the hype. 1st min I stepped inside I was greeted by Frankie ( Owner& his beautiful wife) I felt like I knew them already. The service was top notch,the ambiance was cozy with lots of great old school memorabilia. There were regulars there having their specials & it had a cheers kinda vibe.Now the subs are on point! It was definitely worth the drive. I had the Philly cheese steak with a Cuban twist. It was smacking good. The tuna the best I ever tasted,it made my hair stand up. Everyone knows the first rule to a good sandwich is all about the bread. I'm from Jersey City, NJ and my #1 rule for subs, especially in that County is the best sandwiches usually are in the Local restaurants which are especially plentiful in nearby, Hoboken NJ. So one day I was in miami and craving for an Italian sub and remembered a news piece i saw in t.v. on a place called Franky's. I ordered a #4 cappacola, salami with American cheese, mayo/lettuce/tomatoes/pickles/sweet peppers/black olives and olive oil. I dont add vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper because it takes away the flavor of the cold cuts and definitely had it cold not hot. the hero was a home run. The bread is the foundation of a great sub and it was perfect. I felt like I was home eating an authentic Italian sub. Definitely being added to my favorite food spots. There is absolutely no excuse to be going to any chain sub shops with Franky's around. The staff was great and the restaurants appearance gave good vibes. We stopped here after being on a cruise on our way to Tampa. I was greeted by Joe at the front as soon as we stepped in. I was with my son, daughter, and wife and he immediately assisted us with the menu. The food was by far the best sub I've ever had and I came from New York. The service was impeccable, good food and he entertained my kids being friendly and understandable since my kids were hangry.
