Super pillowy steamed bun with ube halaya/jam in the center! Great cozy snack. I also tried the chicken asado one; eh, it was alright as the chicken filling was a little too gloopy for my liking. Anyway, yes this mart is ***fantastic*** if you're looking for hard-to-find Asian food goodies. This mart advertises the ability of customers to request specific items to be sold here, and the owners evidently are receptive to such requests (I mean, there's a freezer corner just dedicated to fruit-shaped ice cream lol). Also, I appreciate that interior-wise it's just an old-school bodega-style mart lol nothing overly trendy like j-pop/k-pop blaring in the store. The store itself is really cool, but the customer service is seriously lacking. I've visited 4 times now, and every single experience has involved poor customer service -- even after spending over $500 in the store. Most recently, we had a 10% off coupon that stated in large writing it expired in 7 days, only to be told there was a different expiration date hidden in much smaller print. We were only a few hours past the cutoff, and instead of offering any understanding or trying to help, the staff argued about it. Most companies with decent customer service would honor something like that. As someone with 15+ years in customer service, it's disappointing to see an establishment with so much potential fall so short in this area. The staff comes across as cold, monotone, and uninterested in helping customers. To make matters worse, there seems to be little to no manager or lead support available to assist with bigger issues. Unfortunately, the customer service here has been a zero every time I've visited. read more

This place has grown so much since it first opened. They have a good assortment of snacks and other pantry items. I come here to pick up some items on a whim when I'm out running errands. I wish they had more hot food options or collaborations with other fresh food vendors. It is not a grocery store. Think of it more like a convenient store. read more

One of my boyfriend's go-to places for some asian snacks. He had a coupon for a free ice-cream (i think) and so he wanted to redeem it and also get some snacks for us for our movie night at home. I was quite amazed with the variety of ice cream that they have here! They have ice cream shaped like steaks and fried chicken, and they taste good! They also have other asian snacks such as chips, candies, and drinks that they sell here. The store is a bit small, so it does tend to get cramped, especially during check-out, but not really a big deal as the line tends to move quite fast. The employees that work here are really friendly, and when my boyfriend asked if they had any more of a certain ice cream, instead of the cashier saying that they ran out, he actually went out of his way to check the back if there were any left... and there were! :D That is providing excellent customer service ^^ Since my boyfriend enjoys going here, this won't be the last time I will be stopping here whenever I come visit him! :) read more

What a lovely little (but surprisingly complete) Asian market! I walked in with fairly low expectations, but the variety of products really blew me away. I was especially thrilled to find the Japanese Starbucks Matcha Latte -- something I've only ever bought in Japan and thought I'd have to order online. It was such a pleasant surprise to see it on the shelves. The store also carries a wide range of Japanese snacks, including plum wine-flavored KitKats -- which I didn't buy this time, but I'm definitely considering for my next visit. I also noticed an impressive selection of Korean prawn crackers and Indonesian snacks like Pillows, which I'll probably pick up next time as well. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it's completely understandable given that most of these items are imported. On an early Sunday, made a trip to Fairfield to check out this Asian market. I must admit, I had high expectations yet the unknown tempered my expectations. Prior to my visit I was curious to the store size and their offerings. Arriving prior to 10 am, many shoppers were waiting for the doors to be opened. The store had seven to eight aisles with a mixture of Hawaiian, Filipino, Japanese and other Asian goods. A few unique items and hot manapuas and musubis. Since my last review, this place has more than doubled in square footage and in product offerings. This is a great place for Japanese, Korean, Filipino, and Hawaiian snacks, drinks, and food. And finally, they even offer fresh produce! Not a lot, but ones you'd need for Asian dishes like onions, eggplant, onions, squash, etc. Super thankful for that! This is a great place to try unique snacks from Japan, Korea, Philippines, Hawai'i, and more. You can find your favorites, and you can try ones you've never tried before. There's a great variety with a lot to choose from. For gifts, I was thinking you can make gift baskets with all the unique snacks and drinks, and you can do different themes if you wanted to get creative. I usually buy frozen longaniza, portuguese sausage, and gimbap. I buy Hawaiian salt, panko, sinigang packets, soy sauce, sesame oil, katsu sauce, and other seasonings. They have Aloha brand shoyu and other great sauces. They even carry different brands so there's plenty to choose from. Super convenient and glad to have this place in Fairfield. The staff is nice. It is a little more expensive as another yelper mentioned, but it's worthwhile patronizing small businesses. They have a points system where you can earn towards future purchases. Whether you're grocery shopping or gift giving, this is a great store. read more

If you're looking for unique Asian snacks you may not find at your typical Asian store, then you're in luck! This is a hidden gem in Fairfield and I was surprised on how stocked they were of snacks from Korea, Japan, Hawaii, etc. This place was also clean, organized, and pretty spacious. Some items may be really pricey like the viral mango ice cream, fried chicken ice cream, and Dubai chocolate. I would not get this Dubai chocolate again because it was about $15 and it was more of a pistachio crunchy butter texture. Definitely had better homemade. But hey, that's the risk of trying new things! Would definitely come back here again if I'm craving something different and unique. Service was really simple of getting in and out. read more

Asian Mart in Fairfield was such an unexpected delight! I honestly didn't expect to find a smaller sized grocery store that is this well-stocked with such a wide variety of international ingredients. They have many things--from viral TikTok finds like frozen mango to a good assortment of sauces and spices. Whether you need some Filipino snacks or Hawaiian pancake mixes (yes, they had chocolate and macadamia flavors), this place has it. They even had freshly made musubis behind the counter--a fun little surprise! I originally stopped by for one thing but somehow left with four because I just kept discovering other products. The selection is good, and many items that are usually sold out elsewhere were fully stocked here. Pricing is fair for a store of this size, and the place is clean, organized, and well-maintained. Parking is super easy since it's in a strip mall with plenty of spaces. It also felt safe and convenient. If I were in Fairfield more often, this would definitely be a good spot for groceries. Impressive Asian store in the North Bay. I love how they have the trending asian food. It's a small Asian market that's more geared towards snacks and items you wouldn't find in regular Asian stores. They have a very small selection of frozen and refrigerated items. I was super excited to fine purefoods hotdogs and kimbap. Decent selection of Asian snacks and grocery items, along with a small selection of frozen and prepared items as well. Came to browse what they had since I've never been and heard they were a newer store in the area. Also, knew they had prepared musubis, which I wanted to come grab for my husband since he loves them. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop . There's about four or five aisles dedicated to different snacks, seasonings, and ingredients, ranging from Korean, to Filipino, to Chinese, Hawaiian, and so much more in between. The most interesting thing I found was frozen dinuguan (Filipino pork blood stew), and although I don't actually consume this myself, I thought it was really cool that they carried this product. In the end, I grabbed a few items I needed around the house, plus some chips I wanted to try, and some gummy candies from Hawaii that looked interesting. Also got a spam musubi and a breakfast musubi for the hubs to try. All in all, great little mart to find a decent amount of ingredients needed for Asian cooking (though it is kind of pricy). Would shop here again if in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way to come for anything in particular, since there are other Asian grocery stores elsewhere with a much wider selection or products. read more

This place does not play when it comes to Asian goodies! There is a huge variety of items which means you can find almost any Asian related cuisine that comes to mind. The interior is very neatly organized and items are easy to find. Frozen foods, snacks, instant soups, drinks, candy, and sauces are all partitioned into their own aisle. There is also fresh made food at the front counter, such as spam musubi and steamed buns. I had a big haul, and the lady at the front counter was extremely patient and thorough with helping me. She also made the extra effort to check the back room if the store had more inventory of specific items I was looking for. 10/10 service. The store gets a stock of different specialty items every so often, so be sure to keep up with their Instagram page to catch them before they run out! read more

I've been wanting to check out this market since I heard about it through instagram. Finally, I got the opportunity when I met up with some friends for lunch in Vacaville. This place was only about 10 mins away from where I was at so I decided to check it out. It's like a typical Asian store but they focused on snacks. They had all kinds of Asian snacks from Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, Hawaiian, etc. They also have a little musubi station near the cashier. Came here after seeing the Instagram post. The pork bun was ~$4, but it's mostly paste and its oddly sweet (closer to cheap cha siu). I wouldn't recommend it. One of the soft serves I got was rock hard, but the other was alright. Makes me wonder how long some of them were sitting in the freezer. Moreover, the store felt dark and kinda unorganized...there's a lot of items, but also a lot of misplaced ones or out of stock. Certain perishable items that should be stored in the fridge aren't, which is a bit concerning too. Overall, this place is good for convenience, but I rather drive farther for Ranch 99 for its real cooked foods, price, and variety. PS. the vita 6 pack was $6.49 the last I checked. read more

This new Asian market has a good selection of goods - from frozen items, chips, noodles, sauces, and personal care. It's located in a strip mall and can be easily found with plenty of parking. The inside is spacious, clean, and organized. Although they just opened yesterday they're open to suggestions on what to order. Another thing to note is that they've partnered up with Fat Panda Musubi and has a heated box displayed next to the register for you to choose your flavors. A new small Asian market here in Fairfield,with plenty of parking. They have all kinds of Asian snacks chips,candy,drinks etc. They also sell some Filipino/Asian groceries like banana ketchup,fish sauce etc. They do have fridge and freezer sections that has tocino,Filipino hotdog,Portuguese sausage and other frozen food. By the cashier they have a food warmer that has spam masubi and siopao that they get delivered daily. Siopao was soft and yummy. Lady in the front was very nice and she even asked me to let them know if there's anything I can think of to add to the store as they expand their inventory. Currently they aren't allowed to cook or make anthing there but she said "that is their goal". I will definitely be coming back for snacks and some groceries as needed. read more

Living in Suisun we're limited to Asian groceries. I find myself having to go to several different stores to get the items I need (unless I drive out to Vacaville). When the Asian Mart opened in Fairfield I knew I had to check it out. It's a very small but jam packed store with all the goodies. They came through during Christmas with the hard to find Sanrio mystery boxes and continuously comes through with the impossible to find viral items. You can also dm them to request them to carry specific items. I have yet to do this as I'm still having to go to at least 2 different Asian markets, but I hear they're expanding which is exciting. I'll be sure to request the items I need and hopefully they'll become my one stop shop!! read more

Came across this store on Instagram, and knew I had to check it out for myself! They carry lots of Asian goodies that you might have trouble finding elsewhere! First thing I honed in on was some Japanese chocolates that I had when I went to Japan! Gotta love their Kit-Kats and Bourbon chocolates! Also wound up getting some Japanese tea, some hotpot soup bases, and there's even a spam musubi warmer at the register! They also have a section with frozen foods, but I didn't get any this time.
