Customer service here is quite possible the worst service ever. There are always two young girls at the cashier and when you're ready to check out they take long to even notice people are waiting because they're busy gossiping. This one time they asked me if I wanted a bag, I said no and then one of them leaned into the one ringing and whispered something in her ear and they both proceeded to laugh. The meat here is not too great, I asked for seasoned taco meat the other day and there was big chunks even though the guy prepared and seasoned the meat before packaging, so not sure how he missed those big chunks and didn't cut it up. The bread is always exposed, sometimes the cases where the sweet bread is are opened and there's always flies all over the bread which is Super unhygienic. I think this past Saturday was the last time I'll ever come here. I tried to give it a couple chances, but visit was worse than the last which is a bummer because I love to support local Mexican shops, but it's just so bad. read more

This is a Little taqueria in the back of a Mexican market that turns out really good food at fair prices. The service is friendly and quick, Spanish and English is ok. I got a super ham and egg breakfast burrito for about $10, a really good bargain as it is enough to feed two hungry people. The flavor is really good, my only complaint would be that the ham is just thin lunch meat and is barely noticeable in the burrito. Still, would order again. I love this place & my family has been coming here for years. Usually we get our pan dulce here & carnitas as well. Lately I've been ordering their tacos de cabeza & OMG, these are seriously the BEST tacos in the area. They also have a good selection of groceries & latine ingredients. This is our go to place for pan and carne asada because the bakery is wonderful especially the bolillos and tortillas. We buy our meat for grilling here and usually add the Carnitas from the Deli counter. They are usually very busy and the store is small so keep that in mind and avoid busier times or just be mentally prepared. However, the employees work quickly and will move customers along. The loss of a star is because the parking lot is chaotic but it's because the street is so busy and they are a popular business so again keep that in mind. read more

We bought tamales from here- They came so highly rated! When the other reviewers speak of sketchy area, that's legit. But we went anyways because apparently their tamales aren't dry. I sent my husband in to get the tamales- he got them and they smelled so good! You would not know from the outside that there is some awesome mexican food inside this small market. In addition to the meat department, groceries, bakery and check cashing; you can get an awesome lunch. I started coming because I haven't been able to get Milenesa since I've relocated from Los Angeles. If you aren't familiar with it, Milenesa is a thin slice of Carne Asada which is coated in crumbs and deep fried (like chicken fried steak). It is served with rice & beans & fresh salsa for under $6.00. If you prefer there is also a selection of burritos, tacos, nachos and tortas (the milenesa torta is awesome also). I also get the "big gulp" of Horchata (a rice milk drink) to wash down my menu selection. Be forwarned, English isn't the language of choice, but you can make your needs known if you are patient and speak slowly. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There is no seating at all, so be prepared to take lunch back to the office or car. While you are there, stock up on their fresh made corn tortillias. Once you get your order, you will need to take it up to the front of the market and pay the cashier. This is a great mexican restaurant/fast food and definately worth the inconvenience of not being able to eat on site. read more
