There is a German deli and small store closer to where I live in the valley but their selection was much better and diverse. Most recently, we had a 10% off coupon that stated in large writing it expired in 7 days, only to be told there was a different expiration date hidden in much smaller print. We were only a few hours past the cutoff, and instead of offering any understanding or trying to help, the staff argued about it. Most companies with decent customer service would honor something like that. As someone with 15+ years in customer service, it's disappointing to see an establishment with so much potential fall so short in this area. The staff comes across as cold, monotone, and uninterested in helping customers. To make matters worse, there seems to be little to no manager or lead support available to assist with bigger issues. Unfortunately, the customer service here has been a zero every time I've visited.

There is a beauty section in front of the store selling naturopathic beauty products. There are so many options available for gluten free diets and it's very unusual. In the deli many of the items are cooked in garam flour ( chickpea and rice flour). There were a wide variety of options available for my friends that fit within their guidelines and everything was delicious. I found a 2 lb red basmati rice for $1.99 and 2lb size of fresh sliced okra for $6. I'm less familiar with South East Asian cooking and loved browsing the isles looking for new items and ingredients to try in my cooking. As an example, there is a huge selection of gluten free flours made from many ingredients I had not heard of outside wheat. The rice and the selection of lentils were awesome and inviting due to the large selection. The is a fun aisle containing a large section of jar pickled vegetables, Yum This spot on Willow Pass is a must for anyone interested in cooking or stopping by the deli for great lunch or snack. Situated in the middle, the aisles were well organized and full of Indian staples. On the left side of the market were the fresh produce and frozen food sections. The selections were alright and the prices seemed reasonable. On the right side, there was a large area full of rice and beans and tables were set up selling Indian desserts. We ended up getting several produce items. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Excellent addition to the Park N Shop shopping center. My family and I will be regulars here. 4 stars.

I came here for the first time on 06/22/2025 because I needed a few items to make sushi at home. Got here at around 5pm and it wasn't busy at all. The first thing that struck me was how well-organized it was. Fresh produce was on full display both inside and outside the business. Once inside, there was a fish counter on the left side that featured live seafood and sashimi grade fish. I got some bluefin tuna at $29.99 a pound. Quality was good and the price was comparable to other specialty markets. I also got some ripe avocados for $1.19 each, which was way cheaper than Safeway. Aside from fresh seafood and produce, they appeared to carry a good variety of Asian staples. However, I was unable to check out that area because a shopper lost her pearl earring and multiple workers were helping her to find it. :-P This is a good place to shop if you live in the area, especially if you don't want to drive to Concord or Dublin for Asian items. 4 stars.
