Like most asian grocery stores, you will find large bags of various types of rice, as well as a large section containing various cooking utensils, tools, and kitchen machines to help in creating your culinary vision. Located within the store, is the Bazarr eatery. We always make sure to stop and pick up lunch to go. This review is for the hot food section, which is a solid choice for Chinese food. Bean curd was similar to restaurant quality for places that serve dim sum. Fried fish and pork combo plate was above average. Both entrees were seasoned nicely and flavorful. Duck and Char Siu combo plate from the BBQ section was very good. The fried rice and chow mein were both ok and helped fill out the combo plate. Both plates were packed, which is a big plus for value and price. Some entrees will sell out, so if you want to choose from everything, arrive within 1-2 hours from opening. Service is quick and accurate. It's a supermarket, so ambiance is simple. read more

I love coming here to buy fresh fish and Asian veggies like red rice, bitter melon, Bok Choy , winter melon. Among my favorites are the salted eggs, dry seaweed and Japanese soft tofu. I finally made it to County Square Market! I live in the area and stopped by on the way home. I wanted to make my own seafood boil for dinner with crab legs, potatoes, and corn on the cob. It's a nice sized market with quite a nice selection of items in the aisles. The snow crab legs were comparable in price to national grocery stores. I find it's affordable here. The meat section had a large variety of cuts. I was impressed. I didn't fully browse the store, since I wanted to be in and out. The cashier and the lady bagging my items were nice and were quick and efficient! I definitely will come back sooner than later for some more goodies, especially meat and snacks. :) read more

They have the usual selections that most Asian markets have. The vegetable and fruit options are limited and not the best. I love their barbecue pork buns so I ordered a tray. You need to call at least a day or 2 in advance and let them know what time you are picking it up. The tray of barbecue pork buns were delicious. The bread is "caky" and the pork barbecue is so good. I wish they stuffed more barbecue buns thou lol. When I picked it up, it was hot and fresh and was ready. Hands down A+ customer service. My friend needed lumpia and lechon for his wedding and I was responsible for picking it up. Country Square Market was the closest place and could provide both, which was a relief considering we looked a bit last minute and caterers were scheduled and booked for graduations. Their prices are fair and pick up was super easy. They helped wheel the lechon out to my car and it was packed securely for the 1 hour trip. There are tanks and tanks and tanks in the back of the store with running water to keep the creatures alive. There are plenty of options for their dim sum choices and tons of noodles. Today I was on the hunt for yam noodles- they were carried, but not well marked at all. If you're looking for all-day heat lamp dim sum, here it is. Some is kept in big steamers, but some isn't. Also, roasted ducks hang in their kitchen as well. Not the greatest, yet very nice to have what it has available. May come back to try some stuff. Probably not Thai Chili mayo though. :-) read more

I enjoy coming to this local Asian grocery store. It is not as big as Seafood City or 99 Ranch but it has the items that I need in one convenient location close to home. They have a large variety of produce, a great selection​ of meats and fish, and have lots of non-perishable​ items to choose from. I personally like their​ selection of noodle soups, condiments, and fresh fish. They a fish frying service ($1 per fish) which is great because you don't have to deal with cleaning and frying your fish at home. You can go there, get your fish fried, try not to pick at it and eat it on the drive home, and enjoy a fresh fried fish at home. They have a great deli section with freshly cooked​ food (veggies, chow mein, and selection of meats), roasted duck and pig, bbq pork, and dim sum. I am a fan of the chicken feet and love that they sell their chicken feet by the pound. I always leave the store with a box full of feet. YUM! I love shopping at this Asian supermarket. They have so many wonderful products. It's fascinating to just browse and look at all the different sauces, etc. but I was in a mission to find supplies to make Chinese food from scratch and they had everything I needed. They have a fresh fish and meat counter which I haven't tried yet. They also have a fresh produce department with a variety of interesting looking mushrooms, and many other fresh vegetables used in Asian dishes. Very fresh looking. It's best to consult Google for the items you need as I found it difficult to find assistance from an English speaking person but that is a small price to pay for all they have to offer. read more

From the unsuspecting name of the place and it's exterior, no one would have guessed that this large supermarket is an Asian grocery store. I've only been to this Asian market two times. Both times I've been impressed by the store's cleanliness, order, and variety of food items for any Asian-food-consuming household. Since I live about 30 minutes away, a trip to Country Store Market would have to be an intentionally planned project. I get as much food and household items here I couldn't get at smaller Asian markets close to my home, stock up on supplies and then plan for the next big trip. Country Store Market is impressive with its neatly organized rows of produce, rice, noodles, canned goods, Asian spices, sauces, household items and rows upon rows of Asian treats, snacks, and delicacies. The seafood area needs organization or some kind of numbering system. It is a bit hectic when full of customers waiting for their hand picked fishes to be cleaned, cut and/or fried. The hot food deli is full of customers in the weekends. We go for the roast duck uniquely spiced when we can. One of the best we've tasted. There is ample parking on a parking lot needing repavement. Be ready for some rocky potholes! The store has a massive location in a fairly easy-to-get-to place off Peabody Road. My family are so happy to have found Country Store Market. The store has special food and items one cannot find at other smaller (or bigger) Asian markets. The store clerks are very helpful and gracious as well. (The barbecue pork buns oh my gosh yes) The shop itself is clean but smells a bit like fish which you get used to after your second or third visit to the store. Things are organized in a way that makes sense for shopping and I can usually find what I'm looking for (plus some things I wasn't looking for too.) The clerks are friendly and nice. The line can get long around lunchtime, but that doesn't stop me from getting my dim sum fix! The deli offers a great variety of Chinese food, like two different types of Chow Mein, Fried rice, Sesame Chicken, Broccoli Beef, etc. They also offer catering items, I've ordered from them before. They can do lumpia, bbq items- I have ordered small tray of the bbq items, and salt and pepper shrimp. Prices are not too pricey, it is our go to all the time. The market has good items if you are looking for Asian foods, snacks, and sauces you need for your own dish. We go to this market every week. They offer an awesome produce area, fish area where you can get fresh fish, get dungeons crab, oysters (if you can get it in the morning), fresh shrimp by the pound, and meats area where it is already cut and ready to serve if you do Korean BBQ at home. read more

Living in Napa has its perks, access to great wine and no shortage of great restaurants. However if you look a little deeper you will quickly notice that there isn't a single Asian market and no the Asian section at Raley's does not count. Fortunately not far away in Vacaville there's a pretty good one, County Square Market. Inside you'll find aisles of sauces, noodles and everything in between. Produce section is well stocked, they even have kaffir limes leaves which can be hard to find. They also offer serve yourself fresh cooked food like chow mien and steamed dumplings. Next to that section is a BBQ meat counter featuring roasted pork, duck and pork belly. I have to say their roast pork is a real time saver when you cook Asian at home as much as I do. In the back of the store you'll find fresh seafood and meat including tanks live seafood. I've always found there selection of meats to be good quality and the butchers pleasant enough. Ive bought many pork bellies from this counter and have never had a bad piece of meat. County Square's prices are pretty good, I'd say maybe about the same as 99 Ranch without driving across a bridge. It's located right off the highway for easy access and there's also plenty of parking. Side note, there are restaurants in the same shopping center including Vietnamese, Thai and Mexican. Took my mom here and she loved it. It reminded her of Ranch 99, a bit smaller and definitely closer to home. We both liked that the vegetables were cut, prepared and packaged in their own trays in refrigerators should you want something like that. They are so organized. The selection was fresh and had a good amount. I was pleased. The variety of frozen goods was impressive also. And can we talk about the snacks- SO many different chips, cookies and ramen! Bought a lot of goods here and one particular item Fard's Nougat we got was not the same taste we grew up with.. We called the store and asked for a return and refund but they refused.. So disappointing that other upscale grocery stores can accept returns yet this unknown store couldn't ... The taste of the nougat being it's Pistachio flavor has a scent of curry powder like indians and it was so strong and not likeable... It was expensive and didnt know everyone in our group wouldnt like it as well.. This is a much needed staple in Vacaville! My mind wanted to visit, so we made a stop on the way back from the Bay Area. This is a decent sized market, although not as huge as 99 Ranch or SF Supermarket. They have a lot of different Asian foods, including Chinese, Korean, and Filipino foods. Specifically, there was a hot to-go food section with Chinese food, some bakery items that were Korean and Filipino. There were lots of your typical Asian snacks, including Pocky, Peppero, chips, etc, but they also had some unique offerings that other Asian markets don't offer, like the Korean almonds that come in different flavors like grilled corn, hot and spicy chicken, and tiramisu. We decided to grab a box of brown sugar boba Lotte choco pies, which was super unique! Looking forward to trying it soon. read more
