I asked them to crank up the heat on the pad thai, and it really kicked my butt. Great place for a date... If she asks you for a second date after this place... well then she is a keeper. WE AGREE...THIS PLACE A HIDDEN GEM! If you love Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisine (with a Peruvian option thrown in), then this is a gem to discover. You'll just have to overcome the fact that you can't eat it there. They deliver or you can pick it up. Either way, it's well worth it. I have tracked down great crispy duck in many cities at home and abroad and ATK's is right up there. Plus....you can also have it curried or opt for the Thai Basil or even a Thai Ginger version. The Peruvian ceviches are surprisingly authentic. All the standard favorites can also be found there, yet there are plenty of more adventurous options. Kimchi fried rice anyone? How about cheesecake tempura or home made coconut and mango sticky rice for dessert? One can certainly find and pay three times as much for fine ambiance and presentation; but the food will NOT be better. If you are so inclined, set a beautiful table, complete with chopsticks and red candle; add Tsingtao beer or a version of huangjiu (yellow wine); and of course, some very fine company, and you will never remember that the cuisine came from the far corner of a convenience store! read more

I ordered the Panang curry, it was delicious! Medium spice wasn't quite hot enough for me but I'm happy to add a little more then have it too hot. I like how you can wait there and watch everything being made. I learned a bunch about how to make this at home. It was like a cooking lesson too! This was my first time and very impressed with the food. The location is unlikely but for me it's about the food. I'm looking forward to trying their sushi next time, very soon I hope. This is genuinely the best Thai food I have ever had. My (idiot) friend refused to try it on account of it being in a convenience store. I didn't let the location stop me from heeding the positive reviews, and I kid you not...I have never had better, and I have eaten Thai food from coast to coast (in the Lower 48 anyway). Most Thai food is quite similar, I rarely have a truly bad Thai meal (a few times of course), but this place stands out for its deliciousness. Great food for a reasonable price! The location is very close to CocoWalk in the Grove. It is definately not a place for eating in, it is just inside a Quick Mart. Parking is kind of a hassle, but you can just leave someone in the car and run in quickly. The food is done pretty quickly, within 40 minutes of ordering. I am quite picky when it comes to my pad thai, and this place is definately up there in my favorites. My only complaint is that they don't have masimon curry, which most Thai places usually do. This is the most perfect hole in the wall! It is actually inside the convenience store, so don't walk away disappointed when you don't see it. My absolute favorite is panang curry with chicken (and sometimes tofu if I'm feeling vegetarian). My second favorite dish is the pad thai. It is all so delicious and flavorful. On my first visit I had the hot Pad Prik Thai Spice and it was out of this world. Don't know why I've never heard of this place before but I'll be back real soon. Now I don't have to drive out of the Grove for good Asian food, I can just order and pick up from Asian Thai Kitchen. Sure I'd prefer it if they served this great food in a real restaurant with tables and chairs but the food, friendly service, prices, and location (for me, anyway) couldn't be better. Ordered Delivery. The Basil Fried Rice and Drunken noodle is the worst Ive ever had. Rice is too soft and noodles are all stick together. Mango taste like canned fruit not fresh at all. Thai tea is way too sweet. In all, its a 40-dollar complete dissappointment. read more

Wow with all the good reviews I should have read further. The review saying that the beef was canned was being nice. I think it was just very old. After waiting for almost 2 hrs I got $31 worth of food that is not very good at best and the shrimp in the soup had me afraid to even try it. It is discolored and looks like something had chewed on it. The only thing that I ate more than a few bites of was the rice which was over cooked and gooey. Not going to risk this meal coming back to haunt me. Tonight's dinner is going to be a power bar. read more
