The place is very clean and very comfortable. Qui took our order. She was personable and respectful. The menu is very extensive with both Chinese and Thai dishes. I had an egg roll and the Basil w/ vegetables and Shrimp (TL2). Delicious and very elevated. Of course, I had hot tea. Moved to the area this year and was craving Chinese. We don't like take-out as the food never tastes as good as right out of the kitchen. We passed this place a few times and decided to try it last night. It was GREAT! Not only was the food good - but it was a super clean restaurant and Linda the owner could not have been nicer or more attentive. We only tried the chinese - had soup, fried rice, dumplings and spare ribs ~ all of the food was hot and delicious. We will be going back to try the Thai food and now we have a great go to spot for Chinese! Give it a try - you will not be dissapointed!! read more

Well they have very good vegetarian lo mein but we ordered General Tso chicken with ALL white meat for a $1 upcharge (must usually be dark meat). What we got was Chinese orange funnel cake--no detectable meat. Let's blame it on COVID supply chain issues. read more

Our local favorite! The menu is a diverse Asian menu with plenty of options. They are always pleasant on the phone... sometimes we need to wait a bit for our food, but it's worth the wait. You don't feel like crap when you're done eating either because its slightly llighter then the typical Chinese take out. Asian Yucky. =( Bought over $40 worth of food from here on Saturday and scraped it all to the trash today. I don't know why we even bothered putting the copious amounts of leftovers in the fridge. We knew we would never eat them. The fried rice was unnaturally yellow. I have never seen fried rice with such a terribly off-putting color. The peas mixed in were tough, almost like they came from a dried state and hadn't been properly rehydrated. The lo mein included hardly any vegetables and the chicken looked incredibly sketchy. Speaking of sketchy meats, I'm not even sure what I got in my beef and broccoli was actually beef..? It didn't look, nor feel, like any beef I have ever eaten. The wonton soup has some sort of spice in the meat that is unappealing. Star anise? Fennel? I don't know, but unlike anything I have ever eaten and not in a good way. The sesame chicken was okay... until it sat for about 20 minutes and the sauce turned into this congealed gloopy gunk. Yuck, yuck, yuck. It was, to say the least, an absolute waste of money. I implore anyone who may be considering Asian "Yummy" to look elsewhere for their Chinese food fix. Even buying frozen entrees from the grocery store would be far superior to this mess. read more

Just got order of General Tso's chicken which tasted flat and had been over microwaved! No hot or spicey in it at ALL! Pork fried rice only had dish water flavor and hardly any pork or vegetables in it! Very disappointed, since it looks very clean and tidy in there. Have eaten here twice now and have been very satisfied both times. The menu is very extensive and includes standard Chinese dishes as well as Thai. I had the Red Thai curry that was both flavorful and spicy.Their dumplings are also quite delicious and unique. They don't taste like usual Chinese take-out dumplings. Today I was in the mood for some old fashioned spare ribs on the bone. I ordered them and they were huge and meaty, 2 to 3 times the size that you get from most restaurants. As far as multi-ethnic takeout goes, Asian Yummy sets the standard. Offering Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese fare in a clean but no-frills environment (read: jersey strip mall) sets them up for years of success. We stopped in at 6pm on a Saturday, and although the foot traffic was heavy (to be expected) we were able to order, pay and receive our food all within a 10 minute window. The staff was prompt but friendly. After arriving home and unpacking the goods, we were amazed to find just how many goods there were! I knew the bag felt heavy, but the portioning was redonkulous. I had the wild curry dish with massaman curry and chicken. I don't know if I've ever had a curry dish packed with so many veggies and loaded with so much chicken! "Much chickie, such wow! " was all I could think as I dumped the steamy goodness into an oversized bowl. The flavors were in perfect balance, as any good Thai dish should be. Roasted peanuts and cutting cilantro, creamy coconut Thai sauce and bright, crisp red and green peppers. And did I mention chicken?! All white meat with a great flavor. Bland, uninspired, and poorly prepared, in a stark uninviting atmosphere with OK service. Appetizers were Vietnamese Spring Rolls which were a bland ground pork in a thai wrapper, deep fried in oil that tasted stale. The other appetizer of Cold Sesame Noodles was a plate of plain spaghetti pasta topped with a jiggly glob of some congealed gravy goop that looked like Thanksgiving gravy from the fridge. Entrees as pictured, weird slippery chicken, greasy flavorless curry. There are too many good Asian places in the area for this one to survive. One plus-- the serving sizes are huge, but who cares if its inedible? We felt bad and asked to take our food home, then promptly dumped it in the trash. read more

My rating is actually 2.5 stars, so I had to choose between 2 or 3. I decided to go with 3 because it wasn't an unpleasant experience, it was just so totally forgettable. We dined in and we were the only ones there at first. Service was slow. We got menus but it took longer than it should have for the server to return to take the order. When she did, she was profusely apologetic for the wait. She was very friendly, helpful and patient with our questions. I had a 'special' combo. The menu offers a combination of appetizer and entree at a reduced price. Honestly...avoid it. It's not really a good deal. I ordered fried dumplings where were okay, pork fried rice and garlic chicken. Because it was the combo, the garlic chicken was not served on white rice. It wasn't served on anything. Not happy about that. I assumed that even with a combo meal, that my entree would be served as it normally is, but nope. Pork fried rice was different. It didn't appear to be fried with soy sauce, which is a first for me. This can be either a good thing or a bad thing. I really couldn't make up my mind if I liked this or disliked it! Garlic chicken could have been better. It wasn't spicy, and the garlic sauce had more of a sour, burned flavor. I can't remember what my dining companion had, but he enjoyed his meal and had to take some of it home. So it's 3 stars because it was Okay. It didn't seem any better than any other Asian restaurant, and wasn't much worse. Like I said, it was 2.5 stars, not really 3. Would I recommend them? This is the best Chinese take-out I have ever had. That might sound like hyperbole, but seriously, its the best I've had. The place is clean and the food is well prepared. There is nothing sketchy about the place or the food, it's just good clean take-out. I have tried a number of dishes and all have been excellent. The people are friendly also.
