Gang dang chicken (chicken red curry - with bamboo shoots, bell pepper, onion, lime leaves, and basil leaves)
    Lailah J.

Chester, NJ - we could tell from the moment we sat down that the food here must be good, as they had constant customers and were doing a brisk takeout business too. We ordered roti canai, chicken pad Thai, spicy duck and chicken red curry. Everything was delicious. The pad Thai is perfectly textured, a smidge on the sweet side, but nicely smoky-sautéed. The curry was a bit thin but nonetheless tasty. Although the spice level of the duck didn't do it for me (I requested 5 but it was more like a 2 despite my stipulation of "Asian spicy not American spicy"), again it was a well-prepared dish. The pièce de résistance was the fried ice cream, which is served flambé style! I only wish they gave you larger bowls of rice to go with the generously portioned entrees. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the ambience is warm and inviting. We had a lovely experience and would certainly come back when we are in the area.

My husband and I tried Thai Kitchen for the first time specifically in search of good Pad Thai in the area and were super impressed by our experience here! The food was delicious. We got an appetizer of the 4 spring rolls and shrimp dumplings and for our appetizers I got a chicken Pad Thai spice level 2, and he got the beef Pad Thai spice level 5. Both were delicious! Good portions too! The service was wonderful as well, all the staff were all super friendly. It's also beautiful inside, making it a nice date spot and it was super clean- even the bathrooms were spotless. Definitely satisfied my pregnancy cravings and will be coming back here a lot!

This place was awesome! Came here for lunch. I forgot to take a picture of complimentary salad they give, I'm not sure if they do this during dinner time but for lunch they bring you a salad with a peanut dressing - it was delish! Pad kee mao had a good spice to it honey puffs were okay, they didn't have the most flavor but it was interesting - it had crabmeat (I believe it was imitation crab) avocado, and veggies. Overall I recommend, I'd pass on the puffs and try the curry puffs next time.

    Panang Curry # Pa-Nang

My favorite Panang Curry I've ever come across. Constantly trying to find one half as good but nothing compares! I usually get Shrimp (this time got chicken). I also ask for no bell peppers. I love the way they cut the onions and the carrots. Love the spice too- I get level 4 or 5 and it's amazing. Not too spicy but still a kick! Always super fast with take out 15/20 mins

Glowing Review for Thai Kitchen After a fun day of apple picking at Alstede Farms, our group of 19 (including 6 kids!) headed to Thai Kitchen, and it turned out to be the perfect way to end the day. The food was absolutely delicious -- full of authentic Thai flavors and beautifully presented. We loved every dish, from the warm, flaky roti canai to the flavorful pad Thai noodles and pineapple fried rice that everyone raved about. The standout was the massaman curry with duck, which the kitchen kindly made especially for our party -- rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. Even with such a large group, the service was outstanding -- fast, kind, and incredibly accommodating. Chen was wonderful and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the meal. The combination of great food, warm hospitality, and family-friendly atmosphere made this visit truly memorable. We'll definitely be back!

Came here a few days back for dinner and loved your experience here. Staff was very helpful and nice. Ambience was great too, and we ordered a couple of main courses and apps. Everything was good and very delicious. Great portion sizes, and we would definitely be coming back.

Last night, my wife and I were in Chester and had the opportunity to dine at Thai Kitchen. I had this restaurant bookmarked for quite a while, so I was happy we had the chance to go. The restaurant is tucked away in the corner of the Chester Hills shopping center. One thing that stands out immediately is the decor is first rate. It looks very elegant with beautiful tapestries. Another strength is the service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I especially liked that they offered a complimentary refill on my Thai iced tea. We both thought the food was good. We started with spring rolls which were nice and crispy with a delicious sauce. For entrees, I chose the Duck Noodle. It was good, but a little skimpy on the duck. My wife ordered Gai Todd, the marinated chicken. My biggest issue was that the restaurant was freezing. It was a chilly night and there were few people dining in, but they need to bump up that thermostat.

If you're looking for a hidden gem, then Thai Kitchen is for you! The Food, Service, & Ambience are a huge hit! We stopped in here by chance and so glad we did and look forward to coming back because the quality & service is top shelf! There's something for everyone on their menu. We had fried dumplings, chicken curry puff, Pad Kra Tiem w/chicken, & Gang Kure Wan w/chicken. Stop by and give Thai Kitchen a try & I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Booking was easy online and we were provided with the menu we'd be making. Chef Jay and his staff were so friendly, and the space we cooked in was very cozy. I loved the experience of Chef Jay explaining the ingredients, helping us understand the flavors we were creating, and then getting to eat all of our delicious dishes, and of course taking home the leftovers. This event was so worth it. I would recommend this to any one of any skill level. My partner and I are by no means chefs, but our food came out perfectly. I can't wait to come back and take another class here, or stop by for dinner!

Not worth the money or the hype…read more Pandan was recommended by close friends and we love Thai and Indonesian fare so we wanted to try it. It's priced like a solid sit down restaurant one would go to and easily spend $100 for a couple or small family on appetizers and entrees. The menu is interesting and authentic. The execution for our take away meal was sub par. First, we ordered two of an appetizer (dumplings) and only one was packed in our bag (unfortunately we only noticed after we were home); it was all stuck together and ripped apart - it was unappetizing to look at but had average flavor. The other appetizer, spring rolls, was very mushy and I am not sure if made as advertised; it was listed as some shrimp rolls and some vegetable rolls, but we only got one type of roll and I don't know if there was shrimp due to the consistency of the filling. The bang bang shrimp and chicken had NO bang (heat/spice) - it's like there was no seasoning at all and again the consistency was mush; it wasn't inedible but it wasn't worth $20. We would have been much happier at a standard Chinese or Thai place versus Pandan despite its stellar reputation. I'm not sure what happened tonight. Maybe it's better to sit down and have super fresh plates hit the table versus a 15 minute drive, but, I'm not convinced. Service was excellent, apart from the missing appetizer which could be an accident, an $8 accident. Not the end of the world.

My litmus test is typically the penang curry & it was so rich, flavorful & packed with the standard thai spices + interestingly enough crazy fresh veggies that typically i've never seen in penang curry before (most notably avocado lol but was delicious). Also had some drunken noodles which were perfect as good as you can imagine Lotus thai delivers for sure! Their thai salad has the best typical dressing, I actually liked it so much I asked them if I could pay extra to get a to-go container & they filled a quart for like $2 which was such an amazing & kind thing to do.

We were very excited to discover Malay nearby in Morristown, and we had to check it out. We ordered the Malay Prawn Mee, Chicken Sambal, and the Roti Canai. Roti Canai is one of my favorite Malaysian dishes, but this didn't quite hit the spot. The roti wasn't soft and dip-able. It was kind of flaky and kept falling apart every time I tried to use it to scoop up some curry. The curry was a little watery and not all that flavorful, and I defintiely would've appreciated more than just one or two chunks of potato and chicken. The chicken sambal and soup were additionally a bit disappointing. The chicken sambal was just okay for me, and the flavor didn't really blow me out of the water. It almost felt like something I could make at home. The soup similarly did not have a particularly rich or flavorful broth, and left me a little dissapointed. Another thing that really influences my review is how cold it was inside. It got even colder when people opened and closed the door. It was so cold that our food didn't seem hot. I think the cold air cooled it off instantly and we were left eating room temperature chicken and soup.
