This is a the 4th time in a row the food hasn't been good, the visits were spread out over months so it's been happening for a while. The food is consistently getting worse, the rice no flavor, chicken and broccoli no flavor some of the chicken wasn't fully cooked and the egg drop soup omg!!!! We have enjoyed this take out for several years but haven't ate here in several months. We ordered take out yesterday afternoon. I ordered Mongolian Beef. There was six small pieces of beef in it and it was so full of pepper flakes that I had to stop eating it and helped my mom finish her sesame chicken, which was very good. My son that tolerated food more spicy than me, finished mine but his comments were, "it is hot and there's hardly any beef in here." "It's all onions." I will try this again because it's always been good and I'm hoping it was accidentally seasoned with pepper twice. I will ask for a little more beef to be added. The prices here are great. read more

Hate to do it because I love this place but I cannot give them my business anymore the Asian lady that is older is very hateful, my fiancé called in and ordered something only upon arrival to find out that they did not have it. So glad we visited here. It was recommended by a close friend to try. We got carryout to which we couldn't eat till we got home, 45 minute drive. We knew temp was going to be an issue due to the drive but, temp was perfectly ok! We both got the same meal for the exception of soups. Both soups were very good. General Tso was also very good, it could use a lil more sauce. Rice was very dry, which could have been helped by the sauce. Egg roll was not like others we have had before where the seasoning is over the top. I enjoyed the roll but my wife did not. We will be visiting again and we highly recommended it. read more

My boyfriend and I visited here for the first time today. I had the chicken ramen and my boyfriend had chicken fried rice, and added beef and shrimp. He also had the hot and sour soup and said it's the best he's ever had. The server was friendly, the portions were generous, and the food came out quickly. The ramen was savory and full of flavor. The restaurant is clean and the people who run it are extremely kind. We hope to be back soon! read more

Walked in and knocked to try and get service, waited for almost 10 minutes to no avail, had to walk out and call to get an answer, placed order and walked into food city to kill the 20 minute wait... ordered a quart of Tom Kha and a pint of the hot and sour chicken to bring home, finally tried some, absolutely RANCID! We went by the Asian Yummy in Seymour today to pick up dinner on the way home. When we unpacked our food we found that the containers had "shrunk" about 30% from the last time we got their food. Possibly used lunch containers for dinner meals and, by the way, dinner prices. What a surprise from our previous favorite Asian takeout restaurant. Has anyone else had this surprise? read more

Fresh food, well made and prices are reasonable. My go to Asian restaurant in Seymour. Only drawback is closed on Monday.

Asian Yummy has excellent food. My favorite is the chicken/shrimp with broccoli. I have them prepare it extra spicy for me, and it's delicious. Their wonton soup and egg rolls are also very tasty. Just need more seating and fountain drink machine(free refills)Would be nice to have adequate room to relax and not squished in at about four tables in the place. But can't beat the food. Just order to go and take home. You won't be disappointed.
