I've been a patient in this office for over 25 years. I see Dr Savino and have, on occasion, seen…read moreDr Arpia as well. Both are outstanding. They unfortunately don't take my insurance but I go here anyway and pay out of pocket because when you find a Doctor you trust , you don't leave. The current office staff is excellent as well. Dr Savino listens , cares, and takes as long as you need with each visit. The other plus is that you never really wait a long time for your visit. I think generally, the wait is maybe 10-15 minutes , if that. Obviously, things happen when it's longer but that's very rare. I always recommend them. Best Doctors on Staten Island as far as I'm concerned.

Office staff rocks. Always return calls and/or emails right away and they are also very nice. I see…read moreDr. Arpaia and I think he's wonderful. He's extremely thorough and listens to his patients, which I think is sometimes lacking with many medical professionals. He recommended testing for something just by looking at me and turned out he was right but thankfully it ended up not being something very bad (I prefer not to give my medical history which makes this sentence read awkward lol). Basically, he's just an awesome doctor and I can say easily the best I've encountered in years. I travel from Brooklyn to see him bc I will no longer trust anyone else with my medical care (I realize BK to SI isn't far but there are tons of doctors in Brooklyn)

This hospital is the worst hospital my father was there since Tuesday 7/7/26 and told he has blood in his lungs he came in not being able to breath properly and chest pain and they still made him wait in the waiting room can you imagine!! An elderly man complaining about breathing and chest pain and was told to go outside and wait then my daughter who is a vascular ultrasound tech went and asks if certain testing was done on him since she does testing on patients with symptoms like my dad and they said they don't do that tests on inpatients anyway I can go and on but it's too much to write they discharged him without the proper testing he was being seen by medical students who care more about how they look in scrubs and their title than they do their patients and let's not start with them also telling my daughter that he's being discharged basically he's overstayed due to his insurance are you kidding me so you send my dad home because of insurance gtfoh!!! This hospital sucks!! Do not go to this hospital!! There are no real doctors just young medical students who don't give a crap about the patients! They're just there for the paycheck!!! Ans title!! Go to Seaview!! Much better or Jacobi!!!!

Always thought this place was great Due to some personal…read moreissues I had to cancel some appointments I guess they didn't appreciate it so I finally get and keep my scheduled appointment with Dr.Yang and I do t even see him I am seen by a snippy PA that informs me epidurals are no longer done at that location and if I wanted to go to the Brooklyn office I could then she proceeded to tell me they don't give anesthesia at that location Well there's no way I'm not getting knocked out so I continue to inquire about other alternatives to another issue I have and she said a surgeon !! What ??? There are other options before having surgery ! I think they were just annoyed that I cancelled some appointments so bye bye Dr.Yang and a word of advice be more selective on the PA's you hire !! She's lucky I didn't tell her where to go and how fast to get there Little biatch !

My mom has an 11:45 am follow up appointment. There was traffic on the way there so I called the office at 11:30 am while I was driving (from my hand free gps system) and told them I was running late but would be there by noon. The person who took my call said I had a 15 minute grace period so that should be fine. She said she would let the front desk know I was running a little late. I got there at exactly noon and the front desk told my mom everyone has left for lunch and she has to wait until 1 pm. They were cut and dry and cold. I explained that I called at 11:30 am. One person said they didn't get the message and one person said they did but later. We waited until 1pm and saw the NP Lauren. She was great and very apologetic and empathetic. She said the front desk told her my mom checked in at 12:10pm which was a lie. I'm a Pediatrician and understand well how patients are booked and what 15 minute grace periods mean. My front desk staff doesn't make up check in times. And as a provider, I still see patients who are running a few minutes late. Moreover, my mom is elderly and walks with a cane. The lack of empathy and understanding that the front desk could clearly see (elderly mom on one side of me and young child on the other) really surprised and disappointed me. Also why is this office even booking 11:45 am appointments, when they don't honor the grace period, and when the entire staff breaks for lunch at noon. The template needs to be changed !
