Some of the best two dollar hot dog's you'll ever pay seven dollars for. They have beer in cups or cans for sale-but a single beer will be roughly the cost of whole six pack in a store. Still, there is food and beer if you simply must have it. To my mind the two best things up here are the games and the bathrooms. Generally speaking the restrooms up on the game deck tend to be slightly cleaner and less crowded then the ones elsewhere on the boardwalk. This is a relative standard mind you, but still. Then there are the games. There are not quite a dozen pool tables in excellent condition. There is almost always one open and dozens of people (mostly, but not exclusively men) hanging out playing. They are closed for the month of July, which is a bummer, but you don't pay for that month. -The teachers are so loving and caring. They know our daughter and they know our family. They are affectionate. Our daughter tells them she loves them, because she really, really does. -Lots of field trips -- Mt. Madonna, local farms, the beach, the library, local museums. -Age appropriate academics -- kids are totally ready for kindergarten, but there isn't a forced, regimented curriculum forced down their throats.
