They answered all questions I had regarding the process and the actual inspection. They were able to get me scheduled in under 24 hours, which was important because of an encroaching deadline. What ultimately swayed my decision to use Truview was the price. Other competitors, after offering a military discount - which Truview does not - still ran $100 above Truview's cost and didn't include the wind mitigation and four point inspection. The inspector (Armanni) was great - he arrived ahead of schedule and was polite and professional, and was very clear with his explanation of findings. The report was received within approximately an hour of the inspection completion, and all 97 pages detailed every possible deficiency you could imagine - from serious to ridiculously cosmetic. After receiving my report, I was unable to send the 4-point and wind mitigation reports by email for our insurance quotes. A quick call to Truview remedied that, and within 10 minutes each report was sent individually by email to permit easy transmission to the insurance company. Very happy with our choice.

You pay for a professional service to avoid surprises, and you end up completely unprotected. I do not recommend them at all--look for another option that is actually serious and responsible.

They were able to come on short notice on the day I requested. I expected the fee to be $394, but when the inspector arrived, he told me that would not include the pool, so I paid another $74 to include the pool. I do not think the total was unreasonable, but that could have been cleared up on my first phone call. The report was appropriately detailed and well supported with photos and details. Descriptions of recommended work were sufficiently descriptive so as to assist me in getting some repairs and advice on what to attend to and what to leave as well as to provide some guidance to contractors. If I were to do this again, I would do it earlier in the process so as to have more time to correct problems and plan. But in all, I thought it was worth the expense and the folks at allied were professional and helpful.

This was for an 830 sq apt with visible Mold throughout the unit and should have at least 2 swabs and 2 air quality tests inside.... Therefore, according to other company standards and my attorney -The report is inadequate, Allied refused to complete what I already paid for nearly $500 and would NOT CORRECT the issue without charging an additional $385...Unfortunately because of the inspectors good attitude I had given them a good review. I recently hired this company to do an inspection for my vacation home in Florida ( I am a NJ…read moreresident). The inspection I received failed to inform me that 2nd door entrance that was blocked in the kitchen - was a major safety violation. I am now liable to pay a contractor to take down the wall in the kitchen to comply with the fire department or else I will be recieving safety violation fines from the fire department - as per my condo association. Also in the report it was stated that there was a "water stain" on the ceiling which is false, the previous owners had 20ft of wire channeled through a structural ceiling, and tried to patch the concrete ceiling - which is another violation which compromises the structural integrity of the ceiling. I called Rob requesting that I get a refund from my inspection $325, which I felt was the least he could have done, but he denied my refund, told me that he doesn't report state violations and that everyone in Florida blocks their 2nd entrance. I am now liable to do renovations in my new vacation home and take time off due to this company's negligence to report major state safety violations. If this was in the report I would have negotiated with the previous owners to take care of these repairs or would have passed on purchasing this condo.
