Everyone in the office was professional and pleasant, however the company as a whole was vary confusing. After the first two cleaning appointments they could determine what to charge me. After was asked to pay for services I was charged and they also charged my insurance company. When I called the company I was ignored or just didn't want to discuss it. Seriously... read this one.... DO NOT USE ANY ASPEN I went to Aspen dental - Bedford, NH a few years ago for a cleaning. No oral pain whatsoever. I was told I had multiple cavities and needed a crown. I was very surprised but take my oral hygiene pretty serious so scheduled the work and paid out of pocket and insurance to cover the chargers. The billing was alwayssssss changing. I'd pay an amount, then they'd say I owe more. I'd pay more then I'd still get a bill in the mail. After the crown was completed on my tooth that before hand had no other issues or pain, the tooth became infected. They told me that tooth would now have to be pulled. I was MORTIFIED. They then said the infection was so bad the tooth on each side of the one that was infected also had to be pulled. I was sobbing and sobbing in the office and ultimately decided to leave in extreme pain and bo medicine and try my luck at another office before I lost three teeth! I ended up going to the Aspen dental in Manchester. I had them pull the one tooth, did a few rounds of antibiotics and did not need to pull the other two. I came up with a treatment plan to have a bridge put in where they pulled the tooth. This work was going to be a few MORE thousand dollars so I applied for a genesis credit card. The card was approved with a balance of $3000. However, I ultimately was so scared and turned off by Aspen I decided NOT to move forward with the work. The Manchester office decided to charge my credit card $1400 for work that I NEVER RECEIVED. Now the credit card is on my credit report for $1900 for all the interest and late charges and is now closed as an unpaid derogatory mark against my credit. Christina - who used to be the regional manager, who is now just the office manager of the Manchester location was aware of my case step by step by step and assured me she was helping me. Right from the moment I called and complained about Bedford and said I needed to go to another location. She was very involved. She is the one who also sat down with me to go over the treatment plan and open the credit card for me. Right at the beginning of covid I called the Manchester office to discuss this credit card balance and Christina dodged my calls and never called back. I finally got Christina on the phone two months ago after many calls and having to threaten to just come in. After a lot of phone tag she ended up "looking into my account" and said she couldn't refund the card for the work I never got done, because all of a sudden there is a new balance I have never heard about, that needed to be corrected on my account and once they do, I will be ineligible for a refund..... Of course this makes no sense. I've paid sooooo much for the tooth I'm missing now - that again was FINE before I had my cleaning. I absolutely disagreed with this so Christina said she would refund the card and get back to me with the confirmation. And then she would send a bill for whatever charges were supposedly left over. I have not received a bill for these supposed charges. The credit card they charged FRAUDULENTLY is still on my credit report and holding me back from buying a house, and Christina, the former regional manager now office manager won't fix my account even though she has verbally agreed numerous times I never had this work done. This is pretty insane and so for that I say stay away from every single Aspen dental you can. read more

I don't like to write negative reviews, but I so wish for anything that I could go back and not have gone there. I wouldn't have believed it could be that bad, that they would cause me permanent damage, with something that never should have happened. Not to say that the actual dentist aren't nice people, but niceness isn't what you go to a dentist for, and my experiences going there have been so horribly upsetting. Finding an in network provider with good reviews has been difficult. My previous dentist was an hour drive and out of network. I stayed because she was so good, but financially much more. I decided to give Aspen in Bedford a try, I'm super happy I did! The office staff in front is friendly. The hygienist was telling funny stories while she worked, was gentle yet mindful of my pain. She kept checking. The checkout was a little longer because i needed a night guard. They did ask for 1/2 up front, which was fine, I was expecting that. They are professional, but having great difficulty getting a hygienist! My major problem is with billing and feeling deceived! My plan and they checked was a 400 service that's with my insurance. They are deceptive in how they bill and collect money. I prepaid for a consult with an oral surgeon. When I questioned why I had to prepay Amber told me that's how they do things. After sitting in front of her for over 30 minutes while she took care whoever called and other work she was late getting done. She called my insurance and verified my coverage. After I went back for my consult they had me sit with Amber again and she tried to sell me on getting the work done with high interest financing plans they push on you. While waiting 30 minutes for my appointment after being there early I listened to Amber speak with several customers in the same arrogant voice that she spoke with me during a recent call to question, yes you guessed it an additional bill for my consult. I had to call three times to get an estimate for some other work and Amber always had excuses for why I didn't get the estimate yet. The new doctor and Team are fantastic! I got in right away both times and they took very good care of me. I Just recently went back to Aspen due to a cap falling off and they have changed Doctors!! They took me in right away and did very professional work on me. I was extremely happy with the service and I do have thoughts of going back to them. Thank you Bedford Aspen! :) I stopped going here because I did not like the dentist that was there before. She did poor work and kept blaming me for teeth grinding because of it. Due to changing of jobs, insurance companies and a bit of pure laziness I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year and because my new dental insurance didn't cover my old dentist I was forced to look for a new one, which led me to Aspen. I arrived early to fill out paperwork, as requested in the two e-mails and three confirmations calls I received. They took x-rays and I met with a doctor for an exam for about 15 minutes. The doctor told me that I had one small cavity and I could talk to the lady up front about making an appointment for a cleaning and to fill the cavity. The lady I needed to speak to was apparently on the phone so the nurse asked me to wait in the waiting room for this woman. 45 minutes later 5 patients had come and gone and spoken to this woman, all patients who arrived in the waiting room after me. I went up to the desk and as nicely as possible I explained that I had been waiting for a long time, the woman said she would be right with me after she spoke to this other patient. I had been in this office for over an hour and a half and only had actually spoken to a doctor or a nurse for maybe 30 minutes of that time. It was a complete waist of my time, and a refused to wait any longer because there was no way I was booking another appointment there. If I could give zero stars I would. You guys should be put out of business. I went In for a free exam and X-ray which you should clarify is just a bite wing X-ray of one side. When I asked for the other side you told me you needed to focus on the worst first while the other side was just as bad. Anyway I was desperately trying to find a place that would help me since I don't have dental insurance so I went here. If I could go back in time I would have never gone. You guys put me in such fear for my life I cried for a month straight that I was going to die of an infection in my tooth. After the X-ray I was told my molar was so incredibly decayed and infected that the roots of that tooth was affecting the roots of other teeth, even though they looked fine above the root. I was told I needed them taken out that day and it was an emergency. I went to the front desk and got quoted $2,000 for two teeth to be taken out, told I had to be seen specifically by an oral surgeon due to how bad it was. ALL OF THAT WAS A LIE. Because of you I thought I was going to die, that it had gone to my jaw and my brain. Now a month later after finally finding a new pace to help me, I got a same day appointment and they extracted the tooth for $403. Not one mention of the roots of other teeth or anything. You lied. I chipped my tooth and went to aspen to see what kind of damage I had cause and what needed to be done to get it fixed. I went in they did X-rays and exams then the doctor came I told me I need to have a deep cleaning, I had multiple cavities and a root canal because I had a small fracture exposing a nerve in order to fix my chipped tooth. Then they sat me down for cost said it would be some where around $8000. I decided to get a second opinion and I'm glad I did because I only needed a crown for my tooth. I went in for a simple chipped tooth and left with a $5,000 estimate to do a million other things. The doctor said she would not repair my chipped tooth if I didn't do the Invisalign which was $4000 first. It was like being in the used car lot of dentistry! Everyone was very nice but you could almost tell immediately they had an agenda to sell you on the most expensive procedures etc... it is the only way they can justify the free exam and X-Rays. My daughter who had work done here was rushed to hospital last night with puss and blood coming from her mouth. she has a massive infection. Again avoid the place. The dentist forces work on you that you dont need and if you refuse all the extra crap they wont work on you at all... If your dental insurance is forcing you to this place, YOU must inform them of the practices of this place. I would go as far as saying they are dangerous, over billing, over charging, doing unneeded work just to be able to bill your insurance and no matter what it seems like you dont have insurance when your portion is due. Can I give NO stars? My husband and I went to Aspen Dental today, as it was one of the dentists listed from our insurance company (Blue Cross Anthem). What a dump! The place is filthy. In the x-ray room (I have never had so many x-rays in my life) the walls were literally crumbling and falling apart. Then I was taken into a back room where the hygentist saw me. Again, the chair was filthy, there was dirt on the floor, the wall was crumbling... and the worst part? THE TOOLS THEY WERE ABOUT TO USE ON ME WERE FILTHY!!!!! They literallly had filth on them, rust, and black stains that looked like mold! I brought this to their attention, and luckily they took them away and brought out new ones. Disgusting! The hygenist told me right away I had gingivitis. I am sorry, I do NOT have gingivitis. I am obsessed with brushing my teeth, flossing and rinsing. I know what gingivitis looks like, and the symptoms, and I DO NOT have it! They also told me that my old fillings all need to be replaced. I went to a dentist not long ago (a REAL dentist), and got xrays and a cleaning and NEVER told that a SINGLE one of my fillings needed to be taken out and redone. This place is a huge scam... they try to make money off of you any which way they can! Cleaning are suppose to be free with my insurance, but they wanted to charge me $150 out of pocket, since they needed to use a "special rinse". Sorry,no. Also, the place you go to for a "cleaning" looked like a nail salon. People were just sitting down in chairs waiting for someone to sit down for a cleaning. I will NEVER go back to Aspen Dental! This was a bait and switch. Ad stated free exam, xRays and cleaning. After exam and xRays I was told I could not have the cleaning until I fulfilled over $4,000 worth of work for gingivitis. I said I did not want or need those services and wanted the cleaning per their ads. They stood fast to not providing a cleaning service. I returned to the independent dentist I had been going to for years and had a cleaning and asked how my gums were and did I have gingivitis. My dentist told me my gums were fine and I had not sign on gingivitis and to just keep getting cleanings and caring for my teeth the way I have been doing as they are fine. you know......with so many bad reviews, you would think this place would be shut down. I went here over a year ago. Horrid. I am in my 50's and have never been treated so poorly. Took forever to get me into the chair, then the hygeinist did not want to use a non-motorized scraper on my teeth. Kept pushing my shoulders and telling me to sit still until I pushed her hand up and told her to stop and get a normal hand scraper. I have the worst filling in my mouth right now from this place. The dentist hit a nerve when she was administering Novocaine and would not admit it, the nerve stayed unbelievably painful and they put a crown over it. It was never right, so about a week later I went to a different dentist, who asked Aspen for my records and they DENIED that I was ever a patient!!! They said "We have no records of anyone by that name!!!" They never sent X-rays, so the new dentist had to do them, and it cost me $2300 to fix what THEY broke!!! HORRIBLE experience. They were interested in selling me oral brush and making money than my teeth. My regular dentist told me I needed a crown and it was going to cost me $600.00 out of pocket. I decided to get a second opinion, so I called Aspen to schedule an appointment. After the appointment I sat down with the office manager when she told me that I had a lot of teeth problems that would cost me $4800.00. Let me start off with how quickly they got me in. Holiday weekend, aching infected tooth. I couldn't move without pain. They scheduled me first thing in the morning today! Allison the front desk girl was very nice and polite! She helped me with all the paperwork and got me right in! They got me in for a full exam with x-rays for free! Cierra (again, I think) was very quick with the X-rays, a usually pain free experience was quick and easy. A huge help to find the infected tooth. Immediately after they said they could pull it. I am very very nervous with tooth care as I'm afraid of needles. Dr.Manjari (I think) was very easy with me and took her time. I felt like a patient, not a 8:00 o clock appointment. She told me everything she recommended and have her best opinion on my situation. Before I knew it, minutes after the novecain was in, she pulled the tooth and started packing me up with gauze. She was very thorough with the instructions for after care and was very pleasant. Also Linzy ( sorry if I forgot the names, that tooth killed) helped me through the process so quickly, despite not having insurance was still very kind and quick to help me with my options. I second the NO STARS! They could care less about your oral health and more about revenue enhancement. I have reported the place for squirrely business dealings. We, too, had no other place to go, but have since changed our dental plan. I still wanted to go to Aspen, because there was one good hygienist there. Turns out, the "business manager" who sounds like she is 15 years old, no brain in her head, and barely a GED, answers the phone as the gatekeeper and she cannot any longer just schedule a teeth cleaning - one has to go through the entire process EVERY time you go - sure, so they can find something else wrong. These people are no different than car mechanics with dental instruments in their hands. I take that back - at least my car mechanic is highly skilled and honest. Do NOT go to Aspen Dental in Bedford - they will rip you off, I recently received a notice from Care Credit that they had OVERCHARGED me - ha! I never would have known. To the really good hygienist there - Marissa- run while you can to another place. New in town, and called up Aspen Dental and asked them if they had an oral surgeon who removed wisdom teeth, as mine were bothering me and it was time to remove them. I had seen a dentist in my old town in NJ a month prior, and was told to see one. Anyway, I was assured there was, and made an appointment. Get to my appointment, and find out there is no oral surgeon there at all, just a dentist. Great. Told the hygenist that I wasn't paying for anything out of pocket, and she tried to talk me into having my teeth x-rayed, even though I had them x-rayed a month prior before moving to NH. I said no, and was then told I could get free x-rays. I said whatever, and had them done. Then I was walked into an exam room where another hygenist sat me down and poked my gums ALL over, very hard, trying to cause pain. After telling her to stop, she went into a spiel about my gums and how "horrible" they were because I "didn't take care of them". HARDLY. I was then told I needed a special antibiotic treatment, or I'd lose all my teeth. Dentist shows up, NOT oral surgeon, and says I have a few cavities to fill, which I knew about. Here comes the best part. After I was finished, I was walked to the manager's office and told that this special antibiotic treatment was $2300, and I would lose all my teeth if I didn't have it done. I was in shock. I had been to the dentist a month before and was told nothing about this. I told the manager that there was no way I could afford this, so she pulled the dentist in and they immediately lowered the price by half. WOW, you'd think that was a huge favor to me, right? WRONG, because I didn't need the treatment at ALL. What kind of office manager uses this kind of language, anyway?? I told them I had walked in and the first thing I said after finding out there was no oral surgeon was that I wasn't paying for anything out of pocket, and then I left. This is a VERY bad place. I've been coming to Aspen in Bedford off and on for several years. My recent experiences have been less then stellar however. The care is reasonable, but they can't seem to get it together in regards to a scheduling. I set up multiple appointments, and so far of the three appointments only one has gone without issue. I took a day off work to have root scaling and planing done, as well as four fillings and prep for a crown. When I got to the office they told me they messed up and couldn't do everything and would have to reschedule. After going back and forth they finally accommodated me. I'm okay with people making mistakes, but here I am 12 days later after taking time off to get the permanent crown done, and they don't even have it. Now I have to take more time off, when a simple phone call would have saved this issue. Oh, and I'm moving out of state in two weeks. They promised I'll be all set before I go. I'm pretty skeptical at this point. My guess is that they forgot to order it, as the first appointment they offered was exactly the same time frame as they said they needed to get the crown in the first place. I should have just waited and found a new place where I'm moving to. So disappointed in the lack of professionalism. read more

I went to Aspen Dental and they told me I needed this deep scraping under my gums. They numbed my entire mouth. Luckily, the person who came to do the scraping was Honest and said that I didn't need the scraping. I left there with my numb mouth and never went back. read more

They chipped my tooth while fixing another, one filling needs to be redone because cavity wasn't completely removed (needs root canal done now).
