I would not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone. Corporate dentistry's doesnt work well. Each time I visited, I didn't know who was going to work on me. I want someone who puts their name on the door. My dentures kept breaking. I went through several pairs of dentures. I finally went to their office in Lee's Summit and after a few tries, finally got a pair I could work with. I went in with no insurance just wanting a quote on my tooth in which has a hole. I told them I wanted a filling or it to be pulled. They refused to have it pulled again I have no insurance and no money to pay. They said it would have to require 2 crowns I was there for an HOUR. They were suppose to just assess the teeth in question and instead went over my whole dental hygiene. Trying to sell me one thing after another. Then said they were gona do a payment plan and asked that I meet with Someone to go over pricing. I left. I was already there for an hour and I knew it was gona be extremely pricy if I have to sit down with someone instead of just saying "a filling is this price or what not" like. I then called later and explained I can not afford a crown and it needs either pulled or filling. They did not say they can do either they just kept trying to convince me to come in and talk to them. The back office has always been wonderful but if you refuse service at the front it doesn't help anyone. I have Tricare insurance (United Concordia) (family member) and a claim is being processed. I am being refused service, cancelled my appointment because they proceeded with processing my insurance wrong and told me I wasn't covered. After I come to my appointment. Mind you I showed up on and they attempted to send an email saying they needed a call the day prior. Tie the office manager is not qualified to be an office manager. She is attempting to charge me prior to service, which you should if I am Tricare and a participating participant. They can call to know Tricare's is processing everything and refuses to aid in the help because all she will discuss is not getting payment. She refuses to listen and is more worried about being right or feel competent instead of having an intelligent conversation. Clearly I can tell I know more about bulling and dental. All I need to clear this up is her to contact regional billing to help her understand insurance but she refuses to listen to me or call. As all she says is she wants to payment or won't discuss anything with me. They tried to fix this issue by letting me be seen but told me I had to pay ahead from now on. I don't have an unpaid balance and I need a bill if there is. I haven't received a bill yet.....? Tie refused me the regional office billing number and regionals number stating she doesn't know her boss's information. I would recommend getting someone in that office that knows how to handle said situation. Not to mention she kept stating she just got there and doesn't know what's going on. Not an excuse to learn and do better instead of refuse care or refuse to handle a situation that you are responsible for. I can tell you once I speak to regional billing they will contact tie and tell her she needs to allow me To make my appointment and they will fix this issue. She can simply call and be educated but that's not the case. She would rather refuse to listen or aid help in service. Which tells me they don't know what they're doing on the business side of the office. This really affects the efficiency and amount of problems they are now causing due to this issue. I'm on the phone right now and customer service is calling United Concordia and adjusting my account as the manager of This Aspen dental can't provide proper customer service. read more

The Aspen tech was asked about fixing a small rocking motion in my denture & suggested a hard reline. I had researched denture relines & understood it to mean a coating of acrylic material to tighten the fit. But the tech took it upon herself to cut away part of the gum, eliminate the frenum space & wrinkles that make it fit my mouth & work properly. I had hired a dear friend in PA to lovingly craft my beautiful denture & now it is ruined. I had only had the denture - my first - for 6 weeks & the Aspen tech had the nerve to tell me I had a lot of bone loss since getting my denture! She hadn't even asked me how long I had it. There's more...it was a horrible experience in which the tech's incompetence caused me to be in pain with the denture stabbing me in the gum for my entire 6 day trip to California for family events. I really can't even describe the amount of pain & distress Aspen dental caused me. I told the manager they owe me a new denture but she, of course, did not agree. Maybe they will refund my insurance for their charges, MAYBE, but that doesn't replace the denture they destroyed & my heart is broken. The only good thing I can say about Aspen Dental in Belton is that they seem to be nice people. I certainly would NOT recommend them for any type of denture work. read more

Refund? A month ago, I was in for some dental work as a new patient. I was unable to find my Care Credit account that I generally use for all medical expenses, so paid almost $300 for the work that day. The next day, I went to the office to get a refund on that payment, and use my Care Credit account, which we had agreed to do via the phone before I went in. I paid with my Care Credit and was told I'd have my refund in 2-3 days. After a week I reached out since I had not seen the refund come through. I was told that the local office would check on it again and send the request through for refund once more. Still nothing. After three weeks I checked in and was told that a refund could take up to 30 days!! Who in the world takes 30 days to refund a few hundred dollars? Here we are a month later, and still no refund. I cancelled the rest of the work I was to have done and had already paid for (another $1100 or so) and was told that refund to Care Credit would be right away. Here we are days later and no refund for that charge either. I will never use Aspen Dental again. How they are not capable of producing simple refunds is truly incomprehensible. The ONLY bright side, and the only reason this review got 2 stars is that the hygienist is amazing. read more

Worse experience I have ever had with a business. I have scheduled two different times now and each time I show up for my appointment their is an issue. I never leave reviews but I had the Best experience after a night of horrible pain from an infection in my gums. From start to finish I couldn't be happier and feel so much better. I was able to be seen on a Saturday and not stress the entire weekend in pain. Thank You!!! read more

Went in and got a broken filling fixed, a filling done and a cleaning done on the same day. Great work too. My new fillings look like new teeth. The people running this entire place are really friendly too. Super professional. Loved everything about my visit. read more
