Avoid the Crestview location at all costs. I had a scheduled appointment at 4:15 PM on August 11 and was kept waiting until almost 6:00 PM without ever being seen.While I was waiting, a woman walked in who was clearly related to the Office Manager. The entire staff enthusiastically greeted her, and I explicitly overheard the front desk tell her she DID NOT have an appointment and to just take a seat.The wait for my scheduled appointment was so long that my back began to hurt. I briefly stepped out to my car to retrieve a supportive back cushion. While I was gone for just a few moments, the Office Manager took advantage of my absence to sneak her walk-in family member out of the waiting room and straight into her office.When I came back inside and asked the receptionist why the wait was taking so long, she explicitly lied to my face, claiming the clinic was just "backed up." They deliberately used deception to cover up the fact that the Office Manager gave immediate priority to a known walk-in over a scheduled patient. I walked out at almost 6:00 PM.I am a primary caregiver for my elderly father. Because this staff chose to practice blatant favoritism and lie to keep me trapped in their waiting room for nearly two hours, I was kept away from my caregiving duties far longer than expected. Due to this unnecessary delay, my father was left unattended, suffered a severe fall, and broke 4 ribs.This local leadership is dishonest and unprofessional.. I wanted this my whole life my teeth to be fixed the whole office from front receptionist to the dental techs and the dentist as so amazing the wait time getting ready to be seen when you go it's so clean the rooms are clean there's a special dental assistant that goes way and above Quay her personality the way she listens and talks to me and everyone she helps all the new dental assistants all the Dentist I have seen there go way and beyond to listen explaining the care for you I can say enough Thanks to them for caring about me and helping with my dentures. read more

I've been a patient here for two years now. Since January of this year they have rescheduled my cleaning EVERY month with an excuse of the "dental hygienist" being "sick" or "out for personal reasons". This would be acceptable if it were true however I find it very hard to believe the "dental hygienist" is "sick" monthly. read more

Patient beware. The staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful. I was told that a service was covered and then without my knowledge a different code was sent to my insurance which was not covered. I got sent the bill and was overcharged what I was supposed to be charged for that service. The management was unhelpful stating only corporate could fix it yet corporate claimed only the actual location could fix it. In the end I ended up filing a grievance against Aspen Dental. Made an emergency appointment in Crestview because regular my dentist in FWB (not Aspen) put in a temporary crown yesterday but it was hitting my other tooth and causing pain. After multiple xrays and scans they sent in the hygienist for an oral care exam. at that point, I said I don't need all this. I came in here for an emergency for tooth pain. Then they changed it from a comprehensive to a focused visit and I was in and out. it seems like they are trying to run up my insurance as much as they could. I won't go back. read more

Two weeks I went to an appointment at Aspen Dental in Crestview, Florida. They did an exam and said I needed a deep cleaning. I met with the Finance person and we discussed the treatment plan and cost. It was very expensive $4,500. She said after my dental insurance the cost would $2,400. she got me approved for care credit. She said no payment was due until the end of the month on care credit. they sneakly throw in an electric toothbrush and water pic for $200 dollars. They do not tell you about this. So I get the deep cleaning done. Outlined in the treatment plan you have a follow up appointment to check out the gums etc. You then get a cosmetic cleaning in the third appointment. I double checkEd with the checkout l billing lady in regards to not being charged in the following appointments. She said no charge . So I make the follow up appointment and two weeks later I go to the appointmen, which was at 7:30am this morning. I arrive and the receptionist said I owed $ 70 something dollars. Can't remember the exact amount . I said I do not owe that and explained how the finance people said I didn't owe anything and I was set up on care credit . I informed her that I was told I didn't owe anything for this appointment or the next one. I told her I didn't have the money to pay that. She casually, with a rude snotty attitude ok we will reschedule then. she almost seemed happy about it and could careless less about my time and inconvenience. We can't see you until you pay the bill. She continued to say my insurance didn't cover a certain portion and couldn't be seen until it was paid. I informed her the that I rescheduled work for this appointment got up early etc. I was like don't you think I should of been informed about owing this money before hand? She lied and . said she tried calling me the day before. She did not try to call me. I said you're about to lose a customer and informed her that she had a real attitude. She shrugged her shoulders and said "ok" . I will be not be paying the care credit bill as the treatment plan as agreed upon was to carried out. This dental establishment was 100% unprofessional, rude and embarrassing from the time I checked in. I asked the clerk if they had recieved my x-rays and the so called assisted office manager interjected stating that theiy had not called for the x rays because they prefer their own per policy. I could hear them talking about me so loud that everyone could them. I responded saying that had the the current x-rays and its only for follow cleaning. Skylar asked if she can call, she asked if I had done patient release form. She handed me her card and said that they can send them to her email. So l called and was less than 3 minutes at the same the clerk felt she to remind me they needed the films before I went back. When I went back a person came in, no introduction and proceeded to interrogate and demeaned me while I was trying fill out the intake like I was a criminal. I express that I had a tumor removed from my brain or that I was a retired traveling veteran just wanting ensure my health. The treat ment was disgusting to say the least and then I saw on Yelp they had 2 stars. I was a surgical nurse that worked quite closely with dentists and found it enjoyable to go to the dentist. Horrible experience here!! Seriously cannot say it enough. My first appointment, the call center booked it and told me they'd do a consult and cleaning. I showed up, and they only do consults for the first appointment. Frustrated, but not the end of the world. I book a second appointment at 8am, with reassurance from the front desk that I would be out of that treatment within 30-45 minutes. I show up, and they tell me that they can't guarantee that I'll be out by then (therefore I might be late to work). They insinuated that I made that conversation up, made zero apologies for the misinformation/waste of my time, and told me that the physician is running behind (as if that's my problem). I went there to get dentures. I had an appointment and they canceled it because the dentist did not feel comfortable with doing the procedure without the main dentist there. Then after rescheduling my appointment, she worked on my teeth. She broke two teeth. Called a dentist, on speaker, and told him how she cut my gum and about the two broken teeth. He asked her if he needed to come in. She said no, I got it. After hanging up with him, she put stiches in and said the two broken teeth are too hard to get right now. We have to set up another appointment for them. Wow, really! They had to have money up front. It has been 5 months and I still do not have my money back (credit balance). They said that after they try the stolen card again then they will mail a check. I saw an Aspen dental in my new city, and they said sorry we cannot accept the x-rays and dental plan from them. They had to reevaluate me. Each office is independently owned. Did not see that in their advertisement. DO NOT use Aspen Dental!!! read more

If I could give a - rating, I definitely would. I went to this office with the expectation of getting what I wanted, only to be told by one of the dentists that she did not want me as a patient. I was not asked if I wanted to talk to someone relate, just dismissed. How do you run a business by refusing service to prospective customers/clients. I have since talked to several people who have had the same experience with this office. How do they stay in business? If I could give a zero I would. My 73 mother went into hypertensive crisis in Nov. 2022 in the crestview facility. They had her relax for a few minutes and proceeded with what I feel was an alley way procedure. She had a stroke 3 days later and the docs said she had one prior to that. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE. More investigation will be done on this. My mom has 2 screws left in her mouth and they will not return her phone call. Lawyer up people if you had a similar experience. I have never had such a horrible experience. My first visit was just a consult for Invisalign. I was a new patient. When I asked if they needed my dental history to be sent over they said no they didn't need it.(that should have been my first red flag) I also needed a routine cleaning and they only focused on the Invisalign appointment to be scheduled next. I had to clarify with them many times because there was a lot that wasn't thoroughly explained. My cleaning appointment was never scheduled. When I went to my Invisalign appointment a week and a half later, they had to take X-rays of my teeth. This was the most painful experience I have EVER had. The tools they used to get the x-ray images looked like a metal coat hanger.(scary) The staff was so impersonal. I was gagging form the get-go and the lady doing the X-ray only asked me if it was gagging me. Clearly yes. She made hardly any adjustments and still stuck it in my mouth and finally I just tried to calm myself and breath as best I could even though I still felt gagged. On top of that it was digging into my gums and she kept putting it into my mouth I. The most awkward ways. Never asked if I was in pain. Finally after a few sections of my teeth being x-Rayed, I was literally in tears from the pain and couldn't stand it anymore. I took them out and had to take a moment to breath through the pain. That's when I asked if this was the only type of X-ray machine they had for teeth because this was bringing so much pain to my mouth. That's when she didn't even answer my question and got defensive and said if I was in pain I should have let her know because she doesn't know if I am in pain unless I tell her. That was really off putting to me and unprofessional. I had told her I was gagging before and she didn't seem to change much and continued on. So why would I have thought telling her I am in pain be any different? Also, that is her job to make sure I am comfortable and to completely explain everything from the beginning to make sure patients are comfortable. This is a two way street and quite frankly they are supposed to be the professionals and we're about to make a lot of money from me. I was not only in pain but now internally starting to fume with anger from her comment. She then put rubber things on the X-ray contraption to help with the pain. I just have to roll my eyes because why wouldn't she put those on to begin with!? Ugh. It was the most frustrating experience. I was taken into a different room after the X-rays and another lady joined the next procedure they were going to do. That's when I comforted them about everything and after questioning their procedures for quite some time, I finally got a half ass apology from the lady that did my X-rays and I told them I didn't want to follow through with this anymore and wanted to leave. The next thing I knew, a manager was sent in to talk to me. I explained everything to her and at first she was defending the staff. I finally got her to realize it was mostly the professionalism that I hoped would be addressed in the future. I expressed that I have had X-rays many times before and they had never been painful like that. I told her I am not afraid of the dentist and actually quite look forward to my cleanings and what not. I explained that I have had my Wisdom teeth pulled while awake but only numbing of my gums, and this was still more painful than that. Retraining might be necessary. I went home thinking there was damage to my gums. This is just completely unacceptable. Finally I could see tears welling up In the managers eyes as well because she could see how much I was horrified by this experience. I told her my only wish is for those in the future to not be treated this way. They had already lost me as a new patient but I really hope they take their time explaining everything and making future patients feel as comfortable as possible. Sorry for the novel! read more

Poorly managed office. I would do everything possible to take your family to another facility and/or a different company all together. I had 4 routine visits cancelled AFTER I arrived (hygienist didn't arrive). I then had an root canal done and had to pay for a crown 100% out of pocket through a different office because the Crestview office couldn't see me for a month and my insurance was only through Aspen Dental. All other dentist offices I called could fit me in within 48 hrs. This place may appear to be a good deal but it will ultimately cost you more and you will see a decrease to your oral health. I am not going to lie, I was not impressed AT ALL with Aspen Dental when I had my first visit at the Panama City Beach location. The staff there was not helpful, nor accurate with any of the information they provided to me. I then contacted the Crestview location, and have had nothing but success. Shelby, the sweet red haired assistant at the office, helped me step by step from the start with my frustrations and situation! I live in Santa Rosa Beach and chose to commute over an hour to Crestview because they were much more on top of it! Dr. Goodreau conducted my root canal procedure and was wonderful! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was so comforting and reassuring the entire procedure and ensured I wasn't in any pain. Overall - great experience thus far. I visited the Aspen Dental in Crestview, Florida 26 May, 2017. I was given approximately 22 x-rays and a cursory checkup. They determined I needed 0ver $2,000 worth of dental work. Considering I had no serious issues, I felt I was being played a fool. They were ready to finance me. Their high pressure sales tactics thew up red flags. I was billed $62.00 for services. The sign on the storefront clearly stated "If you don't have insurance, No charge for initial visit" They argued my DISCOUNT CARD from Carrington Dental was insurance. My discount card clearly states it IS NOT Insurance, simply a discount program. What sort of simpleton is willing to lose my future business for $62 !!! read more

My whole experience has been horrible, accept for first visit. I was so excited at my first visit, finally I was going to get my teeth fixed they said I had awesome insurance and everything was going to be 3,000. I pay half down and monthly payments until payed. (This included everything: temporary dentures, top of the line permanent dentures, removal of teeth, sedation, periodontal cleaning, adjustments were free,) I took time off work for the procedure may 24th. I showed up, the dentist didn't! It is the 9th of December. My temporary dentures are painful don't fit, I have a cavity because they didn't clean remaining teeth. (I have advanced periodontal disease) I've been sent bills ranging from 11.000. to 4,000. So beware. This is just the short story. read more

This is one of the best dental experiences I've had in my life! All of the staff were so polite and friendly, and they really put me at ease. I've always had anxiety going to the dentist, and as soon as I walked back to get X-rays, they made me feel comfortable. Sam D., the dental hygienist, was a sweetheart and very helpful. The staff and doctors have been pleasant and nice but I question their professional ability to get anything right not their personality. I selected Aspen because they accept my insurance. I started with Aspen because my 25 to 30 year old full upper denture had individual teeth that broke off and were glued back. The denture part is amateurish and the scheduling is totally useless. something that started 4/2/2019 and should have taken three weeks is still not of much value as of 9/18/2019. Few appointments started within 20 minutes of the scheduled time For example Thursday June 14 I sat in the lobby 35 minutes past appointment time then was taken to the dental chair and sat on that torture device 35 minutes before the assistant came in then another 10 minutes until the doctor. The long wait alone in the chair became the norm. On numerous appointments I was taken from the lobby near appointment time only to sit in the chair alone for as much as 35 minutes. The new lower partial sits well on the natural teeth but there is a space between the denture and the gums more on the right side than the left . Large food particles go there unless I use lots of adhesive which the information sent home with me tells me not to. I went through the impression and wax insert and then the permanent full upper denture process. The dentures were installed and the doctor adjusted them. They felt strange but the doctor said they would take time to get used to and that made sense. The assistant made an appointment for the following Tuesday for further adjustments. When I got home the wife had breakfast ready. Lo and behold I could not bite or chew a piece of toast. Examination of the dentures in the mirror showed that the right side was fairly normal. The front was such a over bite and mismatch that I could stick my tongue out with my dentures clamped closed. The left side of the upper was 1/8 to 3/16 of a inch out of alignment with the lower. The left eye tooth was so much out of alignment that it hurt my lip. On Monday I went online to verify the appointment and it was no where to be found. I called the office and they could not find the appointment. The first slot they could give was 10 days later. At that appointment the doctor took one look and said they would have to remake the denture even though he was the one that adjusted them upon insertion. I went through the process of impressions and wax inserts again. After the wax inserts appointment (16 July) I was given a 19 July schedule for the new denture. The evening of the 18th I got a call that the first available appointment would be 30 July. Went for the 30 July appointment. The alignment was much better but the denture moved side to side very much and there is a sharp ridge on top that scratches the roof of my mouth. New appointment for 5 Aug. At the 5 Aug appointment the denture was worse. The tech said there was nothing else she knew how to do. She said I should use lots of adhesive. I had long noisy meeting with the office manager, At the 6th Aug. appointment They made a new impression of my lower jaw with partial in place to get a setup for new upper impressions, I had a 15:30 (7 Aug.)Appointment. At 13:00 Aspen called and moved the appointment to Aug. 8 at 12:00. At that appointment they started all over again with wax impressions. A different dentist reviewed the wax impression it looked and felt OK I have an appointment for Aug 22 for a new upper The new upper had a sharp spike that cut my gum It was buffed out and feels ok.The dentures are useable if I eat mashed potatoes and gravy but don't work with any thing that has more consistency. There are only a few points where the upper and lower come together. I can chew fine with my 30 year old upper but not with the new one. A very costly and drawn out process of very limited use. After more than twenty appointments I am behind where I was when I started. I can not chew anything of any consistency. In all the denture appointments I have seen very little of a dentist only technicians or assistants. During the process Crestview Aspen Dental made three full upper dental plates. Every one started with ridges, spikes or lumps that cut or hurt my palate or gums they are rough. The last set were buffed and reworked until they were comfortable to wear but were not useable for eating. While the dentist did the adjustment of tapping the teeth on marker material then grinding down the high spots on the first set of uppers it was never done on set two or set three. On the last visit a third dentist did the marker material and grind down the dentures are still of little use. I complained again about the lower partials not meeting the gums and scooping up vast amounts of food. They relined the denture to no avail. Aspen Dental of Crestview has proven they cannot make dentures and should not be allowed to charge people. read more

Let me start by saying I was very impressed when I made my very first appointment I was able to get in the same day. But that's about where my impressed views of this office ended! I was told I would need a crown and give him a treatment plan is scheduled for an appointment to come in and have a procedure done. After taking off of work and waiting to see the doctor that morning a different dentist came in and told me that they would not be able to do the procedure I would need to see a specialized doctor to get a post created. Of course I was upset because I had lost ours at work that day as well as Todd that I could've been getting the procedure done at they told me I needed it in the first place. But I got an appointment a few weeks later with the other doctor got the post created and returned. I had my appointment to get my permanent crown created and discussed with the tech who made it so I did not like the shape that she was coming up with that seems like a square and not like a canine I also told her that it didn't feel right in my mouth and even cried at little at how it looked. She assured me the finished produce would be better. Well then time after time the temporary crown feel out I went many times to get it re-cemented in place and was assure this was only because it was temporary material. Well then my final crown came and it was the same shape! I hated it but by this pony I was just ready to be done! Within days the permeant crown fell off!!! I returned, they attached it again, I even spoke with the office manager and told her I though it was the fit and was scared if it broke off again it would destroy the post I had made she assured me it would be fine as did the dentist, well guess what happened it broke off AGAIN and broke the post that i paid 100s of dollars for!!!! And these are all days I'm missing from work as well!!!! So then they take the crown and cement it to what's left of the tooth and it stayed for about a month, when I woke up choking on the crown and swallowed it!!! So no I waisted so much money on a crown a post and alllll the hours I missed at work and I am at square one! And it hasn't even been 6 months from beginning to end! I discussed my concerns every time I went in and was ignored! I will be starting over but with another practice!!!! Don't waste your time or money!!! read more

I initially contacted Aspen Dental for a second opinion and was so impressed with Dr. Holden and the office staff that I chose the Crestview office to complete my dental work. Dr. Holden is always extremely patient and contentious about my level of comfort. This past week Dr. Holden worked on several of my front teeth. It took longer than expected and he stayed well after closing to finish the procedure. He never made me feel rushed, took his time to make sure my teeth looked natural, and made sure I was comfortable. I've had several visits at this office and I usually get in within 20 minutes of my scheduled appointment. They are very accommodating with my schedule and I have been able to get an appointment within a week. Would definitely recommend the Crestview office. read more

All right they are so good that I'm going to every review site that I can so people know how great a place Aspen dental in Crestview really is I've been terrified of going to the dentist for 4 years I've got every kind of work done in my mouth from Bridges to veneers two crowns to implants so I have spent a great deal of time in the dentist chair. I was terrified of going on because I was afraid of the amount of work that might need to be done they made me feel calm from the person I spoke to in the morning on the phone to the dental hygienist the assistants the the front office girls Lindsey and I think it was Brett Nate they were wonderful the doctor was fabulous he wasn't trying to push a bunch of extra sales on me and some of those doctors will push tens of thousands of dollars of teeth on you. When I did get the quote for what I wanted to have done it was unbelievably reasonable it is nothing like I thought it would cost and that was before insurance! Anyhow I'm looking forward to it for them to being my new dentist and they are worth the hour and a half drive it takes for me to get there. THE WORST. Completely unprofessional, I don't see how they call themselves a business. I mean guys, this place is an absolute JOKE. From the very start I had problems with this calamity. I called the location in FWB making sure they accepted my insurance, was told they did, made an appointment, left work earlier for that appt., only to arrive and be told that they DID NOT accept my insurance. So onto the circus at the Crestview location. I call to make a new appointment and after waiting on hold for a good 30 minutes I finally am able to speak to the receptionist. The receptionist (red hair), who was completely rude, unprofessional, and spoke to me with a terrible, chippy, attitude. After my initial visit to get my teeth X-rayed (which seemed unnecessary for just a teeth cleaning), also, the receptionist was ignoring phone calls and being vocal about how she "wasn't dealing with it" (incompetent, lazy) as I was in the waiting room. I made an appointment a month later to get my teeth cleaned. They call me a day before my appt. to tell me that the dental hygienist has quit (comforting) and that they had to reschedule my appt. for 2 months later so they would have time to find a new one and train him/her. Here is it, a day before my appt. and I get the same call, "we have to reschedule your appt., sir". Well not this time, I'm done with that place and will tell anyone and everyone how awful and unprofessional Aspen Dental is. I will go out of my way to keep people from going there. The staff was nice at the beginning, then as soon as they find out that I don't have insurance, they recommended/required all kind of treatment plans. I asked them if they can take care only of one tooth, which was my main reason I went, and they told me that I have to do everything. I told them that I am already using an electric toothbrush, but they still include Oral B toothbrush in my treatment plan. Whenever they gave me the treatment plan, they were very rude and disrespectful... about not scheduling a next appointment!!! I went for one tooth and came back with a treatment plan equal to $5000. I thought doctors supposed to represent the best interest of patient and work with their priority dental problems at the same time taking in consideration their financial stability. I could do just the root canal and the crown and come later for other issues that are not so urgent. But they decide to go ALL IN OR NOTHING!!! Terrible, my wife and I are retired, on fixed income, with no dental insurance. My wife had a tooth that needed pulled, she made an appointment, had x-rays and evaluation. The dentist whom she really liked agreed the tooth needed to come out. Sorry to say he was the only one in the office with any communication skills what so ever. The hygienist told my wife they offered 2 different cleanings, which is not what she was there for, a regular cleaning and a deep cleaning. My wife said ok I'll get a regular cleaning, the hygienist pretty much ignored her and told her she needed the deep cleaning. $1200 dollars worth, and us without insurance. She agreed on the fee for the extraction and signed that paper, they told her they needed a payment before the extraction could be done she asked how much they said at least half, she paid and everything seemed fine. When she returned for the extraction appointment they told her they had to be paid before the procedure, She told them she had paid half and that she would pay the rest after. They refused and pretty much said that they thought that she would get the tooth pulled and refuse to pay. I don't understand, if they needed full payment why didn't they say so when she ASKED HOW MUCH they needed. When people you hire to do something let you know they don't trust you, makes me and my wife feel the same about them. So she decided to go elsewhere I'm not sure when we will get a refund of what she paid. Aspen needs to train these glorified receptionist if they are the ones that interact with their patients. read more
