New to the area and needed to get my daughter in for her 6 month check up…read more I called to leave a message and submitted a "new patient request" on their website. I was contacted by email in less than 24 hrs to let me know that new patients weren't being accepted until July, but that I could go into a wait list for potential cancellations. Less than 24 hrs later I got a call from the office to let me know two slots had opened up the next day. I saw others give low reviews on google for their communication turn around so I wanted to be sure to note that I had a very prompt response time from the office. The morning of, we had an appt at 9, but weren't seen until 9:30. All things considered, this office opens at 7 and I understand that things can back up if kids are having a tough time and appts before us took longer than anticipated. I appreciated the front desk letting me know the situation and that they in turn appreciated my patience as we waited for a chair to open for my daughters cleaning. Once we were called back, the appt itself was AMAZING. Big shout out to the dental hygienist who worked w my 6 year old. My daughter has an aversion to the water pick and suction tube and asked if she could please use a cup of water and an empty cup to spit it out when she needed to rinse her mouth. She was kindly and easily accommodated and the cleaning went by without incident. This was the first time my daughter let a hygienist use an electric toothbrush, floss, count and clean teeth and FINALLY take x-rays after 2 years of meltdowns at previous offices/attempts. The hygienist was very clear and kind, always letting my daughter know what to expect in a kid friendly way, reading cues to ask my daughter if she needed to pause and take some deep breaths , and listening to my daughter to work together for a great cleaning and x-Ray experience. My daughter loved that she could watch a movie during her appt. Very thankful to have found this office.

After completing the medical history, I was taken back to get X-rays done. I had reminded them that i had already sent them recent x-rays. They responded that they wanted to do their own. After having 25 painful x-rays done, they told me I only needed to do 5 more. I said it's too painful (I have a small mouth), I said no more X-rays. I am 71 years old. Over the years, I have never, ever had to take more than 6 x-rays on any or my prior visits. They took 25 and were not done. I said I could no longer stand the pain. They called the doctor in. He was insensitive to my pain and said they needed to do the remaining x-rays. I told the doctor I could no longer stand the pain and just asked for a cleaning. He said they could not do that. So, I excused myself. I figure that they were getting paid by Humana for the number of x-rays.

Hey Aspen, a wise man once told me you can shear a sheep for a lifetime, but you can only skin it once. Happy I didn't have an emergency or I may have lost my skin. Stay away!

I became informed as to what the problem was. I could see it. A picture is worth a thousand words. 3rd He took the time to talk about the problem and the options available. Close -up digital pictures were taken and I could see for myself that what was explained was in fact accurate. 4th. He tries to save teeth. Which he did. He takes personal pride in doing so. He gave me a time line as to what I could expect with another looming tooth issue. Which I was completely unaware of even after having a cleaning and a complete set of x-rays taken 40 days earlier at another dental office. 5th The work was excellent. I was back to chewing steak on both sides of my mouth within days. I needed no readjustment as has been common in my past. In closing... If I had stayed under the care of the dentist I had been going to I would have lost ( in my opinion) 2 important jaw teeth. I am grateful to Dr. Broutin and his staff for saving those 2 teeth . The Dr. has my trust and respect. AND I have not received any discount or special rate for writing this review nor do I expect or desire any.

He explains exactly what he recommends be done and explains all your options fully. I love the ability to see after he is done working on my teeth, actual shots on the tv screen of each step of the process. A picture is worth a thousand words when it comes to seeing the actual condition of your dental work. I came to Dr. Broutin after I was unsatisfied with my last dentist of 2 years who I felt was unresponsive to my concerns about the fit of a crown for over a year and other nagging problems. Dr. B. was able to determine the reason for the problems and fix them after my first visit. His office staff is wonderful and friendly and have always been able to get me in quickly whenever it was necessary. Although I have only seen Dr. B for regular dental work, I would not hestitate to have cosmetic dentistry done in the future. She helped me to decide which lenses to get. She was super nice and personable. Actually, the whole staff knew how to treat a patient. I never felt rushed. I felt like I was the only patient that day. Dr Ruttig, in my opinion, is a very nice and knowledgeable doctor. I had each eye done on different days so the first eye could heal. After the second surgery, I wasn't happy with how my eye was healing. I explained how I was seeing. I waited 2 weeks to see if everything was going ok, but when I went for my appointment, he told me he and his assistant thought maybe a different lens would work better, so they scheduled another surgery. I also had issues with my bill from the hospital. I totally misunderstood the cost of the lenses and surgery. Hoda listened to my issues and said she would do some research. Hoda got back to me quickly and Dr. Ruttig refunded me a little under $3,000 to cover the costs of the hospital. I was so shocked. The office is amazing and so is Dr. Ruttig. Everyone is so professional, helpful and nice. I would highly recommend Eye M.D. of Niceville to anyone.

I had some serious dental problems, I consulted with a friend who knew Dr Jeffery and his wife who both are dentist.I made an appointment to go see the doctors. As soon as I walked in the front door, the office staff greeted me and asked me how my wife and I were doing.they were so kind and polite. I had filled out paperwork from the office website prior to the appointment. That decreased my waiting time down to nothing. That gave me an opportunity to look around, I observed how clean the office was.that alone helped slow down my heart that was traveling faster than the speed of light Fearing from the unknown outcome of this appointment.From the very beginning of my consultation, I felt comfortable with the doctors and that they were truly caring about my problems.Before I left from my consultation appointment,The doctors and the staff had already come up with a treatment plan .It was explained very clearly to me and all my questions were answered. After several appointments and many more to follow, the quality of care in that office is second to none. Alex Jeffrey is the biggest phony and con artist of a so called dentist. He took over Shawn Mitchell's practice when he retired and who had been there for decades. Everybody loved Dr. Shawn Mitchell. He fired his entire staff or they ran for the hills because they couldn't stand Jeffrey. That included my dental hygienist, Angie who there for 8 1/2 years and who I had gone to for several years. There is a huge turnover over there. I have beautiful teeth, thanks to a wonderful dentist and hygienist I now go to. My last appointment with Jeffrey was on April 2, 2018. I needed to have a front tooth rebonded. Alex Jeffrey's demeanor towards me was not only extremely unprofessional but nasty, vile and despicable. Just because I was Angie's and Dr. Shawn Mitchell's patient, Jeffrey has made it his business to react nastily and cop a really bad attitude to their former patients. And may I tell you Jeffrey, I am very well appreciated and active in my community and I MADE IT MY BUSINESS that when someone compliments me on my teeth and asks me where I go, I make sure to tell them that whatever they do, "DO NOT GO TO JEFFREY DENTAL IN VALPARAISO". I am very please with all services I have had rendered by Dentist Jeffery and his staff. My Dentist has always throughly explained all procedures and put me at ease. The office staff is there to set up appointments and have done an outstanding job taking care of such things as corresponding with Insurance Companies concerning they pay their appropriate portion of my dental bill etc. I highly recommend him for Dental Implants since he not only installs the implant but also inserts and installs the tooth once the implant is ready. Most Dentist send you out to another facility to have the implant installed then have you return and they insert the tooth. Dentist Jeffery inserts implant and installs the tooth . Dr. McKinzie is amazing! She is so versatile in what she offers. She did a consultation for aligners to straighten my bottom teeth. Not only does she do your everyday dental work, she offers Botox and Fillers. I have had overdeveloped masseter muscles for years from grinding my teeth at night. I have always been interesting in treatment for this, and luckily Dr McKinzie is specialized in this. I can't wait to see and feel the results! What drew me to Jeffrey Dental was how skilled they are in their profession -- that they do same-day crowns, in-office implants and botox injections. They were very thorough with my initial exam and they went over my treatment/care plan with me so I knew what to expect from them in the future -- so much appreciated! The bonus from my first visit? Not only are the Jeffreys professional and knowledgeable, but they both have super personalities that made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was so nice and helpful and worked me in for an appointment with the dentist that day! Once I arrived, the dental assistant, Nicole, did a great job taking x-rays and prepping me for the dentist. Then Dr Megan Salzlein came in and explained the best solution to repair my broken veneer. When she was done, it looked and felt great! Dr Salzlein is a very sweet person who really cares for her patients. What a blessing it was to find Bright Smiles! I wish the entire staff would relocate to South Carolina (but I understand why they live in Destin). My husband would call over and over to get it fixed just for them to reverse the primary. Then I get a text telling us we have an unpaid balance of $700 shortly after an appointment that we would have paid before leaving the office if we were told. Text speaks for itself. They also threatened to withhold our records until the balance was paid. Also, do not expect any fillings to stay in. I've lost 2, my husband has had 3 appointments in a month period because his kept falling out. My daughter ended up at Aspen to get hers fixed. I'm tired of fighting with a dentist that will accept both insurances and being mistreated. After calling today for an afternoon appointment and repeatedly offered an 8:30, I was told to just come in December. I have never written a bad review for anyone, but this one is deserving. I only wish that I could post pics of the texts.

During the consult they explain the entire process and made sure that my daughter and I we both comfortable with the procedure. On the day of the procedure the staff was very good at comforting my daughter and making her feel that she was in good hands. The procedure ended up being quite quick. Took my daughter home and she was right back to playing and being her normal self in about 1 hr from the meds. It was so painless my daughter was excited to see the Dr for the follow up.
