I won't be back! They are friendly only to suck you in. They tried to get me to pay 500 for a cleaning. I just wanted a cleaning!

I would avoid this Aspen, went to have my post clean and had pain in my gums around one post. They took X-rays and went to a room to get what I thought was just cleaning. No big deal for a company that does snap in dentures, but It was a joke from that point forward. Several people looked at my post, and most said they did not have a lot of experience with posts. The lady that was supposed to do my cleaning said they don't have the proper tool to do the cleaning, and they would order it and should be in within a couple of days, She said they would call me, then I had to wait for this office person to tell me how much my cleaning would be, could have save time by telling me in the chair but I guess she thought it made her look more important in her office. She said I did not owe anything for this visit as it was covered by my insurance. The Cleaning would be under 300 dollars. No Call after 1 week for the cleaning. I called another Aspen for my cleaning but I would have to start all over with more X-rays as they are all Franchises. I went to another dentist, got right in and they did what was needed. I got a bill from Aspen for 50 dollars, I called the number on the bill to dispute it, but they only accept Payments. They gave me a number to call, He said he would have them call me within 2 days, been 4 working day and again no call. 28Mar2026, update, they do not call you if you have a dispute it still no response, although they have texted me saying my bill is due. It a shame that they run their company this way, but I am sure they think they are doing a great job. 22Apr2026, update. A lady called me from I believe Corporates, Asked me questions, very polite. Said she would have them send me my check back. Lady from Aspen Dental Dunwoody called and just asked how I wanted my refund. Short and sweet, They did mail me my refund, so I was only out what I my insurance did not cover the second time.. This closes my issue and I will move on. Thank you read more

Their billing department is terrible, the over charge and then blame your insurance for not covering anything, when they put the billing code wrong, and they refuse to change it read more

I read the bad reviews but needed a dentist asap so I made an appt. Went in with tooth pain and left with tooth pain. Many x-rays, visit by a hygienist, and Dr finally saying I should go see my last dentist to fix the issue. What a waste of time and money. read more

Please avoid Aspen Dental at all costs, especially the Dunwoody location. In June 2024, I had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Michael Hall, DMD, and was left with permanent nerve damage to my tongue. Despite reporting the numbness shortly after surgery, I was repeatedly brushed off and told to "wait it out." Months later, after multiple visits and unhelpful advice, Dr. Hall finally referred me to a specialist--one who doesn't take insurance and charges tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket for treatment. Even after I explained I couldn't afford this, Aspen Dental failed to provide any alternative referral or assistance. Calls and emails went unanswered for weeks, and the staff showed no urgency or concern, even though nerve damage is a time-sensitive issue. It's now been months, and I'm left dealing with the permanent consequences of their negligence. Aspen Dental is a careless, profit-driven chain that does not care about its patients. If something goes wrong, they will not take responsibility or help you. Don't make the mistake I did--listen to the bad reviews and go somewhere else for your care. read more

Total scam. This office is run like a corporation where the employees work on commission and will try to upsell you on everything even if it is unnecessary. I told my regular dentist that the hygienist at Aspen told me that I needed a deep clean and and tried to scare me about the shape of my gums. My regular dentist told me that there was no reason for me to get a deep clean because I don't have the pockets that require a deep clean. Stay far away from this business. Beware. read more

This is a horrible facility. They are very unorganized to be such a big group. I went in for a visit at their Dunwoody location and was told I needed a root canal and a crown and also a crown for another tooth. I was advised I would have to pay for the services before they would even schedule me to do the root canal and crown. They wanted to charge me upfront for everything but I refused I told them I would schedule visits as I go and pay for them. I told the lady at Dunwoody I absolutely could not do a day she was trying to schedule me for. She then said she would have to call me back after she gets the orthodontist schedule. I remind you I had already paid for the service. Well I never got a call back. So I called a tucker location and spoke to a manger whom was kind and helpful. She then scheduled to see an orthodontist in Cartersville and then to follow up for the crown in tucker. Which we schedule and that was two weeks out just to do a root canal if anyone has ever had one the tooth aches. I then got a call a few days before my appointment in Cartersville to see the orthodontist to be told that I have to reschedule because their orthodontist would not be in that day, so I ask her to refund my money and then she tell me she has to call Dunwoody and tucker like what the heck. Been here for cleaning and filling. Doctor and staff are young and you don't see the actual doctors which are listed on the website or in clinic. The dentist who did my filling is the only doctor I have seen in the whole clinic and a hygienist. Their names were not even mentioned in the clinic or their website. So if you're looking at the dentist online and want to go to the clinic. You won't find them. This place has patients lined up all the time and you need to get an appointment beforehand than randomly showing up. read more

These people DO NOT CARE! I came into the dental office a week ago, crying, because my tooth was aching so much that I could not stand the ringing in my ear. They made me sit for two hours as they took x-rays and poked at my teeth. In the end, they never tried to fix my problem. I wanted to know when they would be able to extract my tooth. They told me a week later, was the first of when they would be able to do the extraction. I said that I wanted to set it up for then so I would not be in pain anymore. The office manager, Stephanie, said that she would set up the appointment and never did. All Stephanie wanted to do was charge me for a light they shined in my mouth to tell me I did not have cancer, charge me $30 for something I had no issue with, and take care of other issues I never asked them to fix. I just needed them to take care of the toothache. After two hours went by they told me, "yep, you have a tooth ache and you don't have Cancer", something I already knew. I had to ask for medication for the pain in my tooth and for the ringing. Later, I emailed the office manager my health insurance card and she emailed me back that she needed the back of the card as well. After I sent her the requested information, she never got back with me. A week later, they are telling me that they are not treating me and I have no scheduled appointments. When I called to tell them what happened with Stephanie, the office manager, they told me that this doesn't sound like them. I am pretty annoyed at this point and have decided to never use them. Incompetence is what created my issues with my mouth in the first place. Therefore, I don't wish to proceed with a dentistry who obviously does not have the organization skills to treat their clients with respect, dignity, and care. I recommend finding another dentistry. I arrived at this dentist office at 11:20 AM and there was a sign on the front door saying out to lunch will be back at 1 PM. REALLY!!! Office staff gets an hour and a half for lunch ?? Promise As soon as I entered the front door of this establishment, it was a turn off because the three unprofessional young ladies that were at the reception desk. One of them had A funky, green army jacket on with her hair, real messy And like the other two she just looks sloppy. I requested an appointment with the dentist that is listed on the front door Marita Stevenson, but they told me she doesn't take appointments. She just owns the business they could not recommend anyone else, but at this point, I just canceled my appointment and me as a African-American man. I was very disappointed in the presentation of these three young African-American ladies that the owner chose to represent her business. If I could give one star I would. This place is a complete scam. Do not go to any of these locations. Especially if you have insurance they will find a way to charge over the insurance by thousands. If you go in for a cleaning, they are gonna say you need a deep cleaning no matter what. And that's how it starts . You cannot walk in this place with insurance and still not have to come out your pocket for hundreds of dollars. It's a a complete hard sell. I had my tooth extracted on February 22nd 2023. I was suppose to get a bridge one month later so Aspen Dental put in a temporary bridge until my permanents come. When I visited for my bridge (one month later) I was told the xrays were lost so the company who makes the bridge never received my documents. So I had to come back two weeks later. I received a call as I'm coming to the office that my dentist was out of town and no one was available for the next two weeks. When I told the lady I still had my temporary bridge in, she scheduled me the next week. I come back again for my permanent bridge and Aspen said my bridge still isnt in. Currently their phones are down and there is no way for me to contact them. It's now May and I'm extremely frustrated. I paid over $2000 for a bridge and its 3 months later and still no help. read more

I gave them THREE WEEKS before my appointment time to recognize my Cigna dental insurance. Gave them the following to verify my insurance: group number, Social security, and policy number. Told me the day before my appointment: everything is good to good for my cleaning. Then, showed up to my appointment (after working until 2:00am). Front desk told me they can't service me because they still need to verify my insurance by calling them (but can't contact them today because of its Saturday) smh. The staff won't admit to their mistakes and didn't do anything to improve the situation. This dental office don't have their stuff together because I went to another dental office: they verified my insurance less than 2 minutes on the phone. I advise everyone to good to another location besides the Aspen dental in Dunwoody, GA. read more
