I had dentures made over a year ago and a front tooth fell out twice in a short period of time and then after a little over a year two more fron teeth fell out they were out of warranty and it cost me $130 to have the teeth put back and it had to be poor workmanship or poor quality. I have a set of dentures over 20 years old and never had problems with teeth falling out. Would not recommend them.I gave one star only because I had to. read more

Lack of professionalism! Rude check in reps, rude office manager. I wish I would have read the reviews BEFORE I went. I would have NEVER chose to go here! HORRIBLE experience. I was told I had gingivitis and needed to spend $800 for treatment. They wouldn't clean my teeth until I came back for the treatment, it's absolutely not same day. When I was hesitant on the treatment cost, they told me I could sign up for a payment plan, then start pushing me to sign up for a loan. The doctor told me he didn't like my teeth and I needed Invisalign, then continued to push it when I said no. I have straight teeth with slight crowding in my bottom 2 teeth, I don't need Invisalign by any means. I walked out and went to another dentist, they told me I have no gingivitis and this is the constant story they hear from patients that came from Aspen Dental. read more

This place is 100% a scam. I made an appointment over the phone and confirmed the price of a general cleaning being $98. I confirmed details several times, since it would be over a 2 hour drive to get there. When we arrived, we were told that $98 is just the national average and that cleanings are up to $600 and they refused to do same-day cleaning because they require an exam visit first (on the phone I was told it would be possible to squeeze in a cleaning same day). The receptionist blamed the misunderstanding on the call center and said the people at the call center will tell you anything (how are you supposed to make an honest appointment with the only number available with people who will "tell you anything?"). She also made a very assuming comment that she doubted I have a healthy mouth since it's been awhile since I've had a dental appointment. What a waste and shady business. read more

I set an apt for an exam, my first apt i found out was cancelled when I arrived. my 2nd apt/attempt I waited a half hour before asking the receptionist how much longer to find out the doctor was another 30 minutes behind so I rescheduled. my 3th attempt I had some X-rays and an exam, was told I had a cavity and moderate periodontal disease, needing $2,500 worth of work. I went to a different local dentist for an exam/cleaning, no cavities nor any periodontal concerns! they're just out to make money off of you and will lie in the process!!! read more

Received email and text confirmation of my appointment and was turned away. Drove 49 minutes as I am having severe tooth pain and this was the only place with availability, now I see why. There are apparently system wide issues, totally understandable but the bare minimum is to let patients know that you will not be able to see them. I do not recommend this dentist office. I went today and had a top molar removed. I've been eating aleve Tylenol and Motrin like crazy the past week and after I get my tooth pulled they tell me to keep taking it not giving me anything for pain. I'm not a pill addict but I've also never gotten a tooth pulled and not sent home with something. At least a few pain pills to get through the first day and night. I needed a tooth extracted and I had to find a new dentist, I decided to go to Aspen Dental in Easley, SC. Turned out to be the best move I could've made. Dr. Krotac and the entire staff was fantastic. I had extractions done before but never this painless or trouble. I will definitely be going back. read more

This office is absolutely ridiculous. They are a total rip off. My daughter purchased dentures and is unable to wear. They are entirely to big. Awful. If you have an appointment with them assume your whole day gone. I had an appointment at 2 and it's 4pm now and i am still sitting on the chair waiting to be seen by the dentist. My 76 year old mother in law went here in November for a (one) lower abscessed tooth. She came out having been convinced that she needed ALL of her lower teeth removed for a denture. Three weeks into this, she cannot wear the denture, she cannot eat anything, she has sores all in the inside of her mouth and now on the back of her throat. Aspen Dental's response to her pain was to have her "rinse her mouth with salt water several times a day". She is doing that. The sores have continued to get worse. We called today to try to get her seen about. The lady on the phone was rude, dismissive, and uncaring. She talked over my husband and would not listen as he desperately tried to explain the condition his poor mother is in. They said they would not see her until December 31st! They do not care that she is 76 and cannot eat. They do not care that they did an unnecessary dental procedure on a vulnerable adult. They do not care that this poor woman's mouth and throat are covered in sores! The lady's response to that was "we didn't touch the throat!" and suggested taking her to her family physician. Had a 4pm appointment... receptionist had no record of it.. at 415 I asked if I should reschedule.. wouldn't give me an answer of how much longer. Called me in at 425. X-ray employee never said hello asked me how my day was or was at all courteous and didn't introduce herself. Akward silence no conversation the whole visit. Dentist assistant that did the X-rays then measured my gum depths around my teeth... didn't use a gauge just super fast read off numbers to another tech to enter in the computer. Didn't sound very accurate to me.. Next was the dentist at 450pm told me I had no cavities and I need a gingivitis cleaning which isnt covered on my insurance... I asked for a regular cleaning only the manager refused to let me have a regular cleaning...which is free on my plan so I left .. manager gave me her card to call for another appointment I took it left and ripped it up and threw it on the parking lot... never going back. The interesting thing is ... I recently got a deep cleaning procedure done ... they just wanted my money.. I didn't reveal when it was done to check how well they do their jobs.... also I do have 2 small cavities and they never noticed it... stay far away... this place is full of lazy greedy lying staff. read more

They are only interested in your money. Free check up and xrays suck you in. Told me a need a cleaning for $3,000.00. I said $3,000.00!!! I have insurance that pays for a regular cleaning now, but they said no. They said my last dental office was doing me a disservice by giving me two regular cleanings a year for the last 20 years. Really, I haven't had a dental problem in all those years. Relocated from NY four months ago and was looking for a good dental clinic, not here tho. Went to another dental office today, and no problems, they took my insurance and didn't try to charge me for unnecessary procedures. If you go here for the free check up you because you don't have insurance beware, it will cost you LOTS of money. Go somewhere else, you'll be much better off. Funny thing is I am willing to pay for a dental implant that my insurance doesn't cover, but not at Aspen Dental, no thank you. read more
