I scheduled an appointment with this office and provided all my information. During the process, the receptionist asked for the name of my employer. I questioned why that was necessary since I'm using Medicaid (CareSource). Instead of clearly explaining the reason why, she responded very quietly and whispered, I couldn't understand what she said , because i couldn't hear her. She didn't repeat herself or properly answer my question she just moved on to her next question. That interaction didn't sit right with me. If they need that information, she should be able to clearly explain why. Because of that experience, I'm now unsure about keeping this appointment it raised some red flags for me. read more

This event happened 4/2/2026. The doctor, receptionists, and Omar were fine and I'd go as far to say, they were genuinely great but the hygienist, Corinne, worst chair side manner and overall just awful. She speaks over you, interrupts you, and speaks down to you. Oral bone loss is related to poor hygiene yes but also because of missing teeth, bruxism, poorly fitting dentures, infections, trauma, and systemic diseases and conditions like osteoporosis, diabetes, or hormonal changes. And Corinne even stated that dentists don't know about what causes dental bone loss, how to brush teeth properly, and they (dentists) only have an hour of hygiene in their curriculum. Corinne, I'd be careful how you undercut your own employer because putting your own dentist into a general statement like that doesn't lead to trust in your dentist or the dental practice. The other issue, I heard her berate another client for not having the finances to have quarterly cleanings going as far as to tell the patient that you wouldn't care for her if she didn't commit to the quarterly, every 3 month, dental hygiene plan. The patient stumbled over words trying to plead her financial case and you were flip and disregarded her concerns. This was awful to overhear and then you treated me the same way. I will get my hygiene care from someone who can respect the team they work with and patients they serve. read more

Horrible!!!! I went in for exam, was told by Dr. Fogg I had some infection and given an antibiotic. Was quoted an out of pocket of over $6K to fix the issue. I called back a week later and told them the antibiotic was not helping; jaw was very swollen and sore. I was told by Nia "sorry, doctor is very busy" and told I could not be seen for a week and they would not call in a refill on the antibiotic. Went to my local dds (who was back from holiday), and was given the CORRECT antibiotic to clear up the infection and quoted an out of pocket of under $1k to fix the issue. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! Absolutely horrible!!!!! Work they did on teeth started to chip within a day of being completed. It's seems as if they used cheap material for fillings. Went back, and dentist blamed me for failure. He refilled my front teeth only to have the same problem start happening again. Within a couple of months, it looked terrible! Even the color was way off. Tried to get my xrays so I could go somewhere else and they jerked me around for weeks! Finally had to call corporate and still got the runaround. STAY FAR AWAY FROM ASPEN. Do not go to Aspen Dental. I went to AD on East Washington Street in Indianapolis. My first visit was an exam that resulted in a tooth having to be pulled. I was in pain the entire time and kept saying that but I felt like they didn't care. I had paid in full before having the tooth pulled and I asked about other options like numbing cream, gas to put me under etc, and they were all ignored. When I needed to go again I called to schedule at a different location, Pendleton Pike/Mitthoeffer in Indianapolis. They said I couldn't schedule the over the phone and had to come in. I went in and when they realized I didn't have an appointment and was just there to schedule, I was told to wait. I waited 30 minutes. Still no appointment. I requested my exam x-ray be sent to another office and they told me no because it was a HIPPA violation. I called ANOTHER location and they said that wasn't true I just needed to fill out a HIPPA release form. Filled that out, still no exam x-rays. read more

DON'T GO HERE I would give zero stars if that were an option. I had an implant done at this location. They provided a treatment plan and estimate that they said was confirmed by my insurance. The estimate was approximately $3000, but during and after the treatment I received additional bills totaling over $1000 for procedures that they claimed were not covered by insurance. Also, every time I went for a treatment, they told me there would be no more bills but a few weeks later bills appeared in my mailbox. The entire treatment took 10 months to complete including appointments that I went to, and they didn't have the crown, so I had to go back again. If you're selecting a provider based on cost, don't count on Aspen Dental to honor their estimate. You can count on it being 30-50% more. read more

Never again. First I had a bad experience there and brushed it off. 4 or so yrs later my husband had a bad experience. They are all about $. It was like going to get your oil change and all they want to do is upsale. We go in for a simple extraction and they try to tell both of us (4 yrs apart) that we need a very extensive gum cleaning due to a bad infection in our gums. I went to another dds after and they said I was fine. They said the exact same thing to my husband. At the time we had a dds that he couldn't get into at the time he needed the extraction. He was in pain and our dds was booked. He went back to our dds after his Aspen dental visit and besides 1 small cavity his gums and teeth were fine. They also told us they sent in my husband's prescription the day they pulled his tooth. CVS let us know that they actually called it in right after I called Aspen dental 2 days later asking for it. So now they lied twice to us about our gums and now about a prescription. Never again. read more

You are just a Number... more specifically, a Dollar amount. Aspen Dental (Anderson, IN) ... I am fairly happy with the work that was done. However, there was work done that was not consented to, that insurance would not pay for. Aspen does not work well with my insurance company. The office kept pushing the billing problems off on "corporate". It was up to me to keep contacting Aspen's office... corporate office... and my insurance company over a period of 7 months to get my bill straightened out. Once I got it fixed, I was given the option to make monthly payments of $97. I have paid $200-$300 each month for 5 months.... my bill is now just $350 and they sent it to collections. DONT GO HERE!!! I was told they don't accept other dentist offices X-rays here and id need another from them directly to get my wisdom teeth removed. Said it'll be quick they just need an X-ray and a doctor to approve it and we'll schedule the surgery. Ok.. Appointment was set for 3pm. I show up at 245 with my online paperwork complete and they tell me there was an error and I need it redone. Ok no problem done by 250. Wait 20 minutes after 3pm to get my X-rays and I'm waiting for the doctor by 330. Then 430 comes around and I'm looking at the clock cuz they close at 5. 445 comes and a nurse asks if I can reschedule or if I'll wait. I say "I literally work the exact hours your open this is the only day I can do this and I'm already gonna get in trouble at work". She says ok it'll just be a few more minutes(yeah ok). So 545 rolls around and i get up to leave and they ask when im gonna reschedule for?... literally NEVER. "HAVE A GREAT DAY" y'all are trash and a waste of peoples time. read more

Game and sheI have had issues with their billing since I changed to their practice. They would submit there charges to the insurance company insurance company would say but they paid. I would pay the difference. Then I would get a bill from them for more things that they forgot to submit the first time. I've never ever been to a dentist where they build for more then what their pre-determination stated.I called the office manager three times to discuss this and she never returned my call. I asked the office staff for the Dentist name And she would only give her last name as the office staff was not comfortable with giving me the dentist first name. read more

I went to this dentist and I paid in cash for the entire visit no debt was due but then they suddenly send a letter to collection stating that we owed money when we called four times and they kept saying it was a billing error on their part. Unfortunately we'll be suing them for this illegal debt, fraudulent billing, and falsifying a collection notice. My advice is go anywhere else but this location. read more

I made An appointment to have a tooth filled because my filling had fallen out I've fallen out it was for 3:45 today I got there at 3:30 filled out my new patient paperwork they did all my x-rays talk to me about everything they wanted me to get done to my teeth Then the doctor came in and told me he was going to set me up with someone who could talk to me about financing To have my teeth cleaned. I said are you going to fill the tooth he said no you'll have to come back in for the cleanings and then I will fill the tooth.. I'm so upset I was there from 3:30 until after 5pm I took 2 hours off work to go and have this Tooth filled And he tells me at the last minute hes not even going to fill my tooth but they want me to see a financing person about getting my teeth cleaned. Are you kidding me I have health insurance I gave them my dental card the doctor even asked if i had insurance but he still would not fill my tooth. What kind of a company is this they care only about money they didn't care anything about me. I explained to him how the tooth was bothering me and he still wouldn't fill it. the most bullshit dentist office i've ever encountered. i've been trying to schedule a BASIC CLEANING since NOVEMBER. i came in as a new patient and was immediately pushed into trying to sign up for a payment plan that i didn't need. even though i didn't sign up for the payment plan they went ahead and took an initial payment for my cleaning that they promised in two weeks. two weeks later they call me the DAY OF my appointment to let me know the hygienist wasn't in. rescheduled me, and i had to wait another month. the day before my rescheduled appointment i get a call, and guess what, the hygienist isn't in. idk what their problem is but simply don't make appointments with clients when you won't be in. this has happened to me literally four times at this point. i was supposed to get my cleaning this morning, so i showed up and what do you know, their system is down so they can't see me. they cant even reschedule me. so now it's been 7 MONTHS waiting for them to see me, with no sign of them actually intending to see me. but they did take my first payment of course. not sure if the receptionist sucks or if the dentists just have no clue what they're doing, but this place is A JOKE. i could run a dentists office better than these clowns. read more

I've had nothing but trouble with Aspen. First, after they billed my old insurance (after I had to stop in and give them my new insurance information three times) they sent me to collections, even though the mistake was on their end and they reassured me three times they would fix the problem. Then, when I had a wisdom tooth coming in and they assured me it would be a simple tooth extraction that they could do, they called me on the day of the appointment to say that I would, in fact, need to see an oral surgeon and, oh by the way, their surgeon wouldn't be in for another three weeks. Meanwhile, I have a tooth poking through my gums and causing me pain. They told me there was nothing they could do and said I could go find another oral surgeon if I needed. Absolutely appalled. Today I had an extraction done at Aspen Dental. The tooth was infected, the wound required work to repair, and to be sutured closed. I was provided a script for medication afterwards. Doctor L... is very easy to talk to and work with, so is the staff. Aspen Dental is known to offer a once year Service for Veteran's, a limited number for Free fillings and extractions. I literally got the last seat at 10 A.M. (They are every bit as good as you would hope). Professional, polite, and they even found a way to fix what the Veteran's Hospital wouldn't do on a payment plan after this extraction. I praise people and businesses that are exceptional. Fortunately, they recently had a cancellation and were able to see me the following morning for a cleaning and I got my teeth whitened the same morning. I received fantastic service, the staff was extremely professional, friendly and courteous too. I highly recommend Aspen dental. I had a crown recemented in October and was told there would be no charges if it fell off in a year. Well, it fell off. They will not honor their commitment. Say I need to have an exam first and pay for that. They xrayed the tooth and gave me an exam in October. Nothing is free. It is not right. All i want them to do is recement the crown. I would put zero stars if that was available! So I didn't read aspen dental reviews before going in for my first appointment, if I had I would have saved myself a lot of money time and pain! Started with just a cleaning but the dentist insisted that I get a cavity he found fixed. After they work on the cavity for two hours i finally leave the office numb still. For the entire weekend I have to endure extreme sensitivity and pain when I eat or drink anything! Once the office is finally open again I call and schedule them to fix what they have clearly messed up! I didn't have pain or sensitivity before they worked on my mouth! After the second time of working on the same cavity I am still dealing with extreme pain when I eat anything! Needless to say it took over a month to finally get the office manager to do her job and get me a refund! We are now taking legal steps against aspen dental! I've been with this Aspen dental for 3 years. Within this time frame, I've received some good care but also been left in pain. Most recently,I went in for my 6 month check up and they discovered 1 very deep cavity. Could not schedule me for the work for 2 weeks and the day before the scheduled appt., they called me to cancel that appointment and based on their availability was scheduled for 8 weeks later. Well sure enough, I was in bad pain within 4 weeks of my 1st appt. I called them to see how they could help me and was told their was nothing they could do. I told them that was unacceptable and they told me again "Sorry, their is nothing we can do." By all means, go somewhere else. I am still fighting them after two years. All I wanted was a quote on dentures. I provided my own xrays and after explaining to 4 different people who kept trying to stick their fingers in my mouth, that all I wanted was a quote (they wouldn't provide it over the phone), I finally got it. It was twice what my other dentist had quoted me. I said thank you, what do I owe for this office visit...I had a coupon just in case from the internet for a free visit. They said nothing....well they billed my insurance company for xrays and me for a deductible of $204. After attempting to call them several times I was told it would be taken care of.....Now I'm turned into a collection agency of theirs for $74 and my insurance company was neve3r reimbursed for the xrays that were never taken!
