However, my husband, who is a retired and fully disabled veteran, was referred to this office by the VA for local dental services. They are one of the very few, if not the only, providers in the area who coordinate with the VA, allowing veterans to receive care without having to drive to Austin. After his positive experience, I decided to schedule an appointment as well. We both saw Dr. Matthew O'Neil, and I almost hesitate to mention his name only because he was so phenomenal and don't want to share. He was kind, professional, and had an excellent bedside manner. He asked thoughtful questions and provided clear, thorough answers to everything I asked. A staff member, either the office manager or benefits coordinator, also met with me and walked me through a detailed cost breakdown on an iPad. She explained what my insurance would cover, what my out-of-pocket costs would be, and gave me the flexibility to prioritize or decline any services. She was incredibly kind and made the entire process feel comfortable and pressure-free. In the end, I chose to move forward with all recommended treatments because the pricing was comparable to other providers in the area, and I felt very confident in Dr. O'Neil's expertise. Today, I had two fillings, three crowns, and a deep cleaning completed under IV sedation, as I have a serious fear of dental procedures a local anesthetic is hit or miss for me. My appointment began within 5-10 minutes of arrival, and so far I've experienced little to no pain. The customer service has been outstanding. I'll be returning in two weeks to have my crowns placed, and based on my experience so far, I feel very reassured about my decision. Highly recommend!

Dr. Heck told me I just needed old fillings replaced, and the treatment plan will cost me under $2k. I encourage anyone to a) get a second opinion always and b) see Dr. Heck! She is honest, and caring and kind and personable. I look forward to have my treatment plan done by her and I despise the dentist! Also, the office is comfortable and quiet which is the complete opposite of the other office I visited which was loud and chaotic.

Appointments are really easy to get and they're flexible if you need to cancel. I like that they put Netflix on for you while you wait or are being worked on. It eases some anxiety over someone working in your mouth. I think they work with relatively new hygienists and assistants and I enjoyed the pleasant conversation between my assistant and the doctor yesterday while my teeth were being cleaned. It showed a real camaraderie between them and the excitement of the assistant with all she's learning. The doctor was a little behind but again, having something to watch kept me entertained. They're a great service and I'm glad it's not too far from home.

The rooms are clean, well lit, and situated with modern equipment. They let you choose what Netflix movie to watch (careful to choose a laughter filled comedy with your mouthful). It was first appointment with this office, so it was extended, but the digital, full mouth scan was useful for ordering a night guard. No gooey mouth-mold for me! The hygienist, dental assistants, and even billing folks were all outgoing and friendly. The dentist was gregarious and thorough, and I feel that they really care. I'm done with this place and the terrible customer service…read more I chipped my front tooth. I called to see if I could get an appointment to fix the tooth. I was told I would have to make TWO appointments--one for an exam and then one for the procedure. I asked if I could schedule both for the same day, so I didn't have to take two days off of work. They said yes, they could schedule me for an extra-long appointment, but it meant I would have to schedule two weeks out. I waited two weeks with a chipped tooth and came in. You can probably guess what happened. They took ONE photo of my tooth and told me I had a "really hard decision to make" on whether or not to fix it and I should probably "sleep on it." When I said "No, I want my tooth fixed" they reluctantly admitted they just didn't have time to do it that day. What's more, they then admitted that they NEVER actually scheduled an "extra-long appointment" and that entire promise was just a lie. Also, the "exam" they did (taking one photo of my tooth) meant that I had met my insurance's exam quota for the year, so I wouldn't be able to come in to get a cleaning for the ENTIRE year of 2025 (it is barely May). I am an attorney. I believe this is textbook "bait and switch," potential DTPA violations, as well as potential insurance fraud, and I hope they have good representation. Because if they continue to operate like this, they're probably going to get sued. Oh and also? I went to another dentist to look at the past work Vue had done on my teeth and they said it was "very poorly done" and needed to be fixed. So...the quality doesn't seem to be there either. Look for other dentists in Kyle. There are a lot cropping up now that can probably figure out how to run an appointment system and won't just churn and burn your insurance.
