I had to call multiple times and then with an Advocate to actually get the help I needed. I had a dry socket and was extreme pain. This facility is comprised of the rudest, most uncaring, uncompassionate people I've ever encountered. Their post says walk ins welcome. I was visiting out of state to attend my granddaughter's high school graduation. My temporary partial was causing irritation on my gum and I asked if there was anyone who could do a quick buffering on the area that was causing me pain, something that would take less than ten minutes. Without making eye contact with me they snapped they didn't do that type of service, and since I hadn't been there before they would have to enroll me as a new client, but it didn't matter because there wasn't anyone available who could help me anyway. I got my dentures from Aspen dental and I had to go back numerous times to get them so they fit right and didn't tear up my guns and hurt me. Years later i.e. now I need to get a new set of dentures and they told me they did not take Medicaid. That it was against the law, that is not true. Two other dentist I've been to since that's ridiculous. Consumer beware... Their philosophy and sales tactics are Up sale, Up sale, and Up sale. I went in for an emergency visit with a tooth pain of 10 of 10, 10 on the scale being the worst pain one could feel... and the advice was take over the counter aspirin... and take 125mg of amoxicillin. Setup an appointment for a root cannel. So, I need a root cannel therefore there must be pain involved? In fact, I was given an option of a partial consult or a full consult for my whole mouth, when I made it clear I was there for the pain on my left side only. They came back and said the full exam would be on them if the Insurance provider would not authorize it. SO they could up sale I'm assuming. Now if I go get a second opinion my dental plan will not cover an additional and or other Examination. My expectations were to get emergency care for major pain. Instead, I need thousands of dollars in Dental work. Which may be the case, but the reason I was there was not remedied. A bit of advice... Listen to your customer's needs! read more

After 2 bad sessions with them, they have said they will no longer work with me and are now trying to charge me for things that I never had completed or performed at any of their locations. If you only need basic cleaning they can get you taken care of, but if you need a repeating dentist that actually looks at your issues and symptoms and makes logical recommendations based on all data then they are not for you. They reminded me of Doogie Howser (the salts episode). read more

They over charged me for a dental cleaning, didn't tell me I was gonna get one of the services they provided me until after it was already done and had explained that I couldn't pay it at the time of the appointment. Also the main doctor's hands smelled really fishy. So do with that what you want. Not sure if he was just reusing his gloves or what. But it was gross. read more

This is just a review of scheduling. I had an appointment for cleaning on 11/13. I received 3 please confirm text messages leading up to the appointment. When I arrive i was informed that no one was going to be thee to do the routine cleaning. I am ok with canceling however no one bothered to let me know ahead of time. They have provided do provide great service - but this was just rude I put my morning aside just for this and no one could bother to let me know ahead of time, I wonder if they like it when patients are no shows. read more

No greeting, stood there with no help and when I asked the platinum blonde hair receptionist if I needed to check in was met with short, stone responses. Marisa was very nice and communicative on the procedures, but I was shocked whenever she was flossing for me that she didn't go right and left for each insert like all my past dentists have done and have instructed me to do. My hygienist (I forget her name, so sorry!) was super friendly, talkative, lax, and warm! I only wish she could have worked and talked simultaneously instead of having to stop to speak to me, but that's me being picky. At some point during part two, the music on the intercoms had disappeared and you only heard the machinery. The dentist was quickly in and out, asked me about any concerns and offered invisaline; I was surprised that he didn't poke about my teeth to double check any possible cavities instead solely relying on his sight. Wasn't offered a receipt even thought I am aware that my insurance covered it all (wish I had remembered to ask), and had to remind them I was offered a free whitening kit for using the postcard they sent me. Overall, my hygienist made the experience wonderful for me, the rest of it was just alright. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL PLACE!!! My husband had a toothache, felt like tooth cracked and he was in a lot of pain. Aspen Dental was the only place that had same day appointment. We went and they took lots of X-rays and said the X-rays showed no crack but dentist could see slight one. She said there was no infection and we had to come back in two days to see another specialist because the tooth needed root canal and crown. She never did any tests or anything to the tooth just looked in his mouth real quick. We had to meet with the financial person and the prices were expensive. We left basically with nothing. Decided to set second opinion and the dentist was wonderful. Actually looked at tooth and tested it. The tooth was cracked in half and infected. She got us to oral surgeon and the tooth was removed immediately and is on antibiotics for the infection. Aspen dental Said there was no infection. All they do Is want to upsale you. Worried about his dental Cleaning and gum disease but had no Idea he had an infection. Worst place ever. read more

My initial visit with Aspen Dental went fine. I had no problems in making an appointment online. I showed up, was greeted in a professional manner. I had no problems with them on 08/08/22. My follow up appointment was scheduled to be on 08/17/22. Everything was going as planned until I received a call informing that I needed to reschedule my appointment because the dentist was unavailable. This is when the SHIT hit the fan. I called Aspen Lakewood office 20 TIMES and was greeted by their answering machine which gives you a menu and then eventually you end up leaving a voice message that they NEVER RETURN! And forget about trying to set up an appointment online because that is only for NEW patients. Going to the dentist is never a pleasant experience under the best conditions. If Aspen Dental is really that concerned about their patients' smiles, then they should show some RESPONSIBILITY in answering their FUCKING phone so that I can talk to an actual person and not a machine. The person who is responsible for rescheduling appointments (not the machine) is an INCOMPETENT AND LAZY IDIOT and is VERY, VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL!
