I had an upper denture for about three years. Even though I asked to adjust the bite because I bit my cheek on a daily basis, nothing was done. Dr. Jayanty at Aspen Dental in Leominster, MA noticed at once that something was wrong. She changed two crown needing two bridges. I have not bitten the side of my mouth since. Worse place, they called the day of the appointment to let me know they had to reschedule. They rescheduled on me 3 times last minute and I have voicemail to prove it. Stay away from this entire organization. They tell EVERYONE they have gum disease and want to charge you $1600. To fix your gums. I had 2 other dentist tell me my gums were fine and zero disease or deep cleaning required. I tried to return to them for a tooth issue and they won't look at the tooth until I comply with their fraud diagnosis of gum disease. They are a bunch of theives. The primary dentist there is very kind which is why I wanted to return. But never again. Stay away from these theives. read more

They were absolutely marvelous with me. I was at ease with the dr. Dr. J explained an extraction that I required and did it the same day. I have never gotten an extraction there, but they were wonderful. I have a dental plan going forward, and I feel completely comfortable and at ease with this practice. The staff are very nice. That's the only nice thing I have to say. After a couple thousand dollar, many adjustments, and a lot of wasted time I have a dentures that still hurt. It everything starts off ok like when you go shopping for a new car but then when you sit down to find out how much you actually have to paid for the next visit(s) ... sticker shock!!! Brought my 95-year-old mother in for dental work. They moved her to two different rooms took pictures and then she waited. Finally the doctor came in and said they were overbooked. Didn't wanna rush you so you can go home. Can you believe they will send a 95-year-old lady home and tell her to come back. Please be aware that no matter how well you take care of your teeth they will want to do a "deep cleaning" for huge money. Also, be aware that if you can't pay the whole balance of what you owe and start making payments they will send it to collection. Even if you make payments every week without failure they will send it to collections. According to what I was just told "they can't stop it from happening". It just automatically goes to collection by magic I guess!!! Here I am making payments and now my credit get hit because they can't live without my money if I dont send it in quick enough. Root canal was awesome, they really did a great (pain free) job. But, to my surprise, I was then recommended a deep cleaning (scaling). I didn't feel like dropping several hundreds of dollars for it, so I went to a different dentist who said that my gums/teeth are in good shape and just performed a normal cleaning. I'd recommend to look for a second opinion before paying for a very expensive deep cleaning that dental insurances don't cover. I won't go back. read more

Wow, this was the absolute worst experience. Dr was lying & condescending. Said I need a scaling, okay so I go for a price estimate, first price $4,177. No way!!! Then they come with $3,743, really??? Final price $,1,967! Okay so why was the first price over $2,200 more than the last estimate?? Oh, because of the antibiotic Arestin. Research tells me that penicillin would be ok, if indeed there was was an infection. I can take care of this with a waterpik, even though he said there was nothing I could do!!! read more

The people who work at this place are incompetent and dishonest. I had scheduled a consultation there to get my wisdom teeth removed, and they told me that the cost of the consultation would be free since that was my first appointment there. I even called before the appointment to confirm that it would be free, and they said yes. I saw a dentist who was in the room with me for no longer than five minutes. She barely looked at my teeth and just told me the obvious that my wisdom teeth have to be removed. That was my only time there. After that, they kept spamming my email with offers and also sending me a bunch of letters on the mail about their offers or whatever. And I got a bill on the mail for the half-assed consultation I had, which they said it would be free since it was my first time there. I am appalled by how misleading and poor their services are and I do not recommend anyone to go to this place, unless if you don't mind having a "dentist" take a quick look at your teeth and getting ripped off. read more

Outstanding doctors and a great staff! I have had extensive dental work, extractions, root canals, scaling, and fillings. I have seen many different dentists and none of them seemed to have the skill of Dr. V. The other dentists I saw in the past would not extract my teeth they would instantly say oral surgeon but Dr. V. had no problem. I've never had a more polite and competent dentist in my life! Even the assistants are top notch, I've had many teeth x-rays over the past years but never has anyone placed cotton in the areas where I had teeth removed just for my comfort. The secretarial staff are awesome, always smiling, fun, and just about everyone in the office will say hi and ask how you are doing and use your name when asking. Small touches like those are few and far between in the world and just add to the comfortability you will get at this office. read more

Don't go here! I scheduled an appointment for an exam and cleaning. First thing they took so many x-rays I that in my 52 years have never seen any other dentist need to take! I bet my insurance doesn't cover them all. Then two technicians work together. They first ask me if I floss, my answer to them is no. Now as one picks at my gum line while the other writes down their assessment of the depth of the pockets "which a couple of time she wasn't even looking in my mouth as she's switching positions all the while quickly announcing numbers! After one states I have alot of bleeding on the gums. - "Well of-course! I just told you I don't floss and now your sticking that sharp object down into my gum line"! I would expect alot of bleeding. Dentist comes in looks at x-rays mentions a few things then he leaves and someone else comes in and starts with pricing of a root canal and deep scaling. I stop him and say "Look I'm here for a basic exam, been here for an hour and just want the cleaning at this point and will consider the rest later". - oh, no - the technician won't even touch you! you HAVE to get the scaling first before the cleaning we refuse to do the basic cleaning until you get the deep scaling. I had seen my previous dentist only a year prior. I had missed my last 6-mo exam! You can't tell me this all happened and is as bad as they make you believe in that short period of time. Felt they pulled a bait and switch on me. Had my insurance information and said the procedure would be one price with my insurance. Had to open up a Dental Fiest Finance account for the agreed bill that was not covered. Not a big deal on that. Today go in for my follow up and maintenance and find I have an outstanding balance of over $550. I said what was this for and they said that's what the insurance didn't cover. I said you had my insurance and should have known what they would have covered. Then they turned it around on me and said that it was my responsibility to find out. Not good! Feel like I'll contact BBB and file a complaint and find a new dentist if they don't work this out. My dental hygienist has been great during both visits. No fault to her for this. read more

We were visiting family in Sterling and my 9 year old re-broke his front adult tooth. I didn't want him to finish out the trip uncomfortable so I googled "emergency dental services". Aspen came up and I called and let them know what was going on. They scheduled his appointment as soon as they could and took all my insurance info over the phone. We arrived 15 mins before the appt. and filled out necessary paperwork. We were taken back promptly at our appt. time. I was also able to go back with him. There was a little confusion on why he was there but they quickly made adjustments. We were in and out in an hour. I am so grateful for the professional atmosphere and the care the staff puts into their job. Thank you Aspen Dental for being available to us North Carolinians. We have been here twice for our 2 daughters. What a nightmare on both occasions. 1. First daughter needs a tooth exposed for the orthodontist to attach a chain too. First appointment lasts 2 hours because they need to do exam and x-rays. Surgery goes ok. Then I get the bill. Nothing close to the original amount agreed upon with insurance and us. To their credit, they wrote off what they kept hounding me for after I called and went over the agreement with them. 2. 6 months later, second daughter needs same procedure. We schedule appointment and have orthodontist send what he needs done a week ahead of time. Also have x-rays sent. Get appointment and I call to confirm. When I call, I'm told the surgeon is not there on that day and will have to reschedule. Reschedule for 2 weeks later. Get to appointment and after completing paperwork are taken into exam room. They can't find the x-rays or order from ortho. Then tell us that the surgeon does not do that procedure. We explain that our other daughter had same procedure done 6 months ago in their office. They explain that they have a different surgeon now and he doesn't do it. I guess oral surgeons don't all do the same oral surgeries???!!! And from other reviews, it sounds like Aspen Dental changes staff like they do underwear. Stay away. You have been warned... read more

I had a bad expirence. The business is basically that, they don't care to inform you about your procedure they just pop you in and out and take your money. I had an extraction and I had no idea what to expect and the office was not informative about what to do next at all. I would not suggest going there if you have any alternative. Additionally in the procedure I felt some pain in the process and the doctor Reyes to convince me it was just pressure and after screaming a few time in the pulling he finally gave me another shot of Novocain. I'm so upset I chose this location. If you go somewhere for a service you should be treated as a patient not just a number connected to dollar signs.Please don't do it to your self. I went to Aspen Dental due to good reviews on the internet and several of my friends reporting good experiences. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience. I informed the office and the dentist I saw originally of 2 preexisting conditions that could affect healing. The doctor did not seem concerned. After having 22 teeth pulled, I suffered multiple complications, which kept me out of work for 6 weeks and are still present. Two weeks after the extractions, the original dentist went out on maternity leave and moved to Texas.The dentist that was covering in the interim, refused to touch my mouth because she said it was too complicated. I ended up cleaning and packing holes and tunnels myself, as well as debriding necrotic sores myself. Then I developed bone spurs that have been breaking off either above or below the gum line. The new dentist took care of one but refused to do the others. The bottom partial has never fit and Aspen has refused to replace it. Finally, the new dentist spent my last appointment yelling at me, reduced me to tears, blaming the complications on me, and then claimed it was not his problem because he had not done the original work. He then refused to treat me altogether. I was not allowed to speak with the regional manager and the office manager just said she would refund the money that was prepaid in my account to the loan company. No referrals, no being allowed to speak to management and I am stuck with a mouthful of complications as well. All given to me with an attitude. I now have to have corrective surgery and a new temporary partial made. And find a good lawyer. read more

A hack shop dental assembly line. I made the mistake of becoming a patient of Aspen Dental after I moved to the area. After 24 months of regular visits, a missed cavity in at the gum line resulted in a tooth being extracted. A month or so later, another cavity at the cavity line was discovered in the mirror by me which Aspen Dental missed. I scheduled an appointment with Aspen to have this cavity looked at and filled. Upon my scheduled visit "they filled" the cavity. Fast forward three months later and I see that the same cavity hole is present in the tooth and appears to be getting larger. At that point, I decided to schedule another appointment with another dentist. UPDATE: My new dentist tells me that the cavity was never filled and that the cavity has been growing in size. Failure in having this tooth properly treated would have resulted in another tooth extraction. On top of all this, all of the previous work that Aspen Dental previously conducted on me was done in a substandard fashion. My new dentist asked me if I was over seas and had foreigners work on my teeth. Come to think of it YES! I did have foreigners work on my teeth at Aspen Dental in Leominster. BEWARE! Do not go here to have dental work done. Find a local dentist with a good reputation. You deserve better. read more

Worst experience ever with this entire office. Scheduled a cleaning right before oral surgery and the hygenist broke a filling in my front tooth. No sorry just a we'll at least it happened here. Dentist didn't have time to fix it that day supposedly. Oral surgery to extract one tooth from the roof of my mouth has ended up being a nightmare. Wouldn't stop bleeding and I mean bleeding for over24 hours and I paged the surgeon and he said it was normal. Went back to get the chopped tooth fixed 2 days later and I was sent home with the dentist saying " what did the surgeon do to you and I can't fix that today there's too much swelling". Awesome. Went back to work two days later and there was so much bruising people thought I had been in a car accident or I was the victim of domestic violence. 4 days after surgery I developed a very painful abscess- had the surgeon paged 2 times in almost 2 hours and he finally calls me back and told me to swish with salt water and take and excedrin PM and go to bed. Are you kidding me!!! I then called and had the general dentist paged hoping they could help and I didn't even get a call back. Long story short, of you want a dentist or surgeon that cares don't go here. My mouth is still jacked a week later and my face looks like I was hit with a car! read more

I used to go to this office, but after I had a rough patch with switching jobs, and periods of differing insurances they would no longer work with me. I had a tooth that had a filling fall out, and even after being a patient there for about two years with regular check ups they told me sorry, please call around and find someone else.
