Went to get new dentures made. impressions made, was told my new dentures would be ready in 2-3 weeks. I heard nothing for 2 months. When I called to check, I was told that "unfortunately" I would have to have impressions made again and start the process over. No phone call, no update until I called them. Technicians were rude during my visit. I just told them to just refund the money ($1400) that I had already paid. Never been treated like this in any dentist office. read more

I chose this dental office because scheduling my first appointment was a breeze and the location was only about 10 minutes from my home. I thought it would be convenient, but unfortunately, that was not the case. My first visit was a regular exam and checkup, followed by a cleaning on a separate visit, which went completely fine. After that, I scheduled a wisdom tooth extraction but had to cancel the appointment. I was told I would receive a full refund (almost $1,000), so I went ahead and canceled. That same day, I also scheduled a new appointment for a filling. I called on Monday to cancel the wisdom tooth extraction and request the refund, then came in on Friday for my scheduled filling. When I arrived, the front desk told me my appointment was never scheduled. They claimed they didn't know who scheduled it, suggested I may have called the wrong office, or that I scheduled through an operating team that "doesn't always communicate with them." They even tried to say it was my responsibility to call and verify my appointment, which I find unreasonable since they were the ones who scheduled me. Thankfully, the clinical staff was able to squeeze me in, and I only waited about 30 minutes. I truly appreciated that. However, the front office has been an ongoing issue. I later found out that when I called on Monday to cancel my wisdom tooth extraction, no one ever submitted my refund. When I went in on Friday, they processed the refund right in front of me -- days after it should have already been done. Since then, I've continued to get the runaround. I'm now being told the refund is still "pending" and that there's no update until someone else approves it, which could apparently take months. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable, especially for such a large amount of money. I will not be returning, which is unfortunate because the doctors, dental assistants, and hygienists were all amazing -- kind, professional, and attentive. I have absolutely no complaints about the back office. Unfortunately, the front desk is disorganized and unreliable, and I don't want to deal with that again. read more

I've called this place on three separate days and there phones do not work. I've went into office 2 times to ask them to run my insurance again. Both times the front seat attendant acted as if it's her first day and she's too incompetent to do the simple task I am requesting. The last time I was there I waited over 20 minutes and then they "promised" they'd call. There has been no call. My permanent teeth still haven't been applied and calling them and pressing 2? There phone system immediately hangs up. They do not care because even my husband has told them this and the phone still doesn't work. I'm on the phone waiting for them to get back to me right now. I had to press 1 to speak with someone who doesn't even work at the office. And even had to wait to connect me so that I can get them on the phone lol. A complete joke. I guess I'll be going somewhere else to get my crowns placed on. I had high hopes for this place not so much now. The girl just put me on hold then sent me to voicemail AGAIN lol. I have used this Aspen Dental location before with no issues--service was always fast and professional. However, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. After a year and a half, I returned for X-rays and a dental exam and ended up waiting over an hour and a half, and they still had not completed my appointment by the time I had to leave. Staff offered multiple excuses for being so far behind, and the dentist even told me, "That's just how medical is," which I strongly disagreed with. I rescheduled to finish the appointment, but when I returned, the waiting room was full and the receptionist informed me the wait would be at least 30 minutes. At that point, I decided not to continue my care with them. It is clear they do not value their patients' time. I have never had such a poor experience with any medical or dental office running so far behind. There is also a high concentration of dental offices in the area, so patients have many options. It is surprising and disappointing that this location operates with such disregard for customers' time and overall experience. On top of that, they charged my insurance company the full rate for services that were never completed. Since all services were not rendered, I am unsure how they can justify billing for procedures that were not performed. read more

Each person understood how I was feeling and went to great lengths to help me after experiencing a very painful toothache. The situation was quickly resolved after giving me options with prices. Just got off the phone with Aspen Dental Texas again and they are still refusing to fix my 3 1/2 month old dentures that I paid $1600 for just the top part because I was out of town. My tooth broke. I put a drop of superglue on it to put it back in place until I could get to and they are saying that voided my warranty. They are neglecting to accept the fact that dentures broke in the first place and they're not even four months old I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are crooks. They are nice to you to your face want you to get in there and get your money and then when you need their help or their product fails, They do not it up. Please do not go there. Don't waste your time coming here. They try to over bill the dental insurance by having you come in MULTIPLE times for things you can normally do ANY-WHERE-ELSE in one day. My husband tried booking a regular cleaning here & they tried telling him that they couldn't guarantee that he could get a cleaning in the same day of getting his xrays. Like WHO does that? I literally just had my regular cleaning done at Mint Dentistry in Humble which INCLUDED xrays AND whitening available ALL in one day, and that's exactly where my husband will be going. read more

First off, their yelp reviews are horrendous; If you want a proper review of this Aspen location in New Caney, go over to google and you will have more context with the service(s) and what they offer. I took a chance and decided to visit this office being that I used to go to Complete Dental Care in Kingwood...They no longer have hours that accommodate my after-work needs. Aspen is closer for me and meets my schedule needs, so points for convenience in areas that apply. I went in for pain and a consultation. Doctor B was very thorough and gentle with his observation of my oral health. He wasn't prodding and scrapping at sensitive areas like most doctors do, which is usually painful. Him sparing me pain, whilst coming in for pain was very respectful and thoughtful on his part. He went over the problem area(s) and sent me on my way to work out a treatment plan with the scheduler/FA. I came in for a 5pm appt, an hour before they closed on Monday, so all they were allotted to do was evaluate and plan for treatment, which was acceptable. The x-ray tech(little lady with the cute anime hair) and the oral hygienist(lady with a pretty smile) were very charming and kind; Aspen Dental has a very friendly team who takes their job seriously and placed my comfort and care in their top priority. Isabel(scheduler/FA) was enthusiastic and friendly throughout our interaction! She was very thorough, broke every single service down, and scheduled me based on priority needs. She presented my insurance breakdown, what is covered, and a few payment options. As a patient, having different payment options is nice so that it doesn't feel as overwhelming. (Ask about CareCredit) Overall, I enjoyed my short visit! They left a wonderful first impression; from the ladies in the front desk, to the last lady standing... The experience was enjoyable. Went there for a cleaning recently. I was told it had to be done in 2 separate appointments, but it could have easily been done the same day. (Insurance purposes they said). I was also provided with an electric toothbrush, but since I already had one I took it back and asked them to refund the $140 I was charged for it. I was told on two different occasions it was being processed, however after a month, I have still not been reimbursed. After I posted this review, I contacted customer service who assured me this would be taken care of, telling me that it was going to be escalated to a regional manager. Two more phone calls same story. I never heard back from anyone. What is clearly happening here is they are holding my money hostage because of this review. After receiving costs, thought to be firm, was charged over $100 more just for cleaning. After discussing with office, they said would check and get back to me in 3 days, waited over a week with no reply. Promised they would investigate and needed a week more, waited over another week and still no call. To me it seems they just ignored me. I was never told that the quoted costs was only an estimate, something they need to ensure is communicated to their patients in the future so no one gets unpleasant surprises. I go to get two teeth pulled at Conroe because Conroe office said it had to be done by oral surgeon. My experience was like having my teeth pulled at a vet clinic. They probably would have done better. A dentist that just graduated in may kept leaving the room to consult with other dentist. My mouth is so traumatized by her I will never go back there. I have had dental work and never had this experience. Just totally unacceptable. Don't go to Aspen dental. read more

Aspen is a notorious criminal corporation. I don't need to tell you how bad they are. YOU look them up on Google or Duck or your browser....Aspen Dental Lawsuits. They have been sued by states, the AG of the state wins and Aspen continues to steal from patients in need who trusted them. There is no worse crime than betrayal of your trust and using your trust against you. There is a group on FB, STOP ASPEN DENTAL with 17500 members. That is huge for a group against any company. I plea with you to do your research. Do not let this happen to you. You can stop it by not allowing it. They have committed insurance fraud against me. I caught them red handed trying to defraud my wife with unnecessary procedures. That has been verified by another dentist in private practice who did my wife's dental work without those unnecessary procedures. They do not honor their dental money back guarantee. They will ask you to sign a complete release of liability simply because they know how guilty they are. That release also has a non-disclosure clause, exposing YOU to a risk of fraud in public social media using your name and making YOU responsible for returning all settlement money. Then they will tell you any refund will be reported to the IRS as income TO YOU causing you problems with the IRS but giving them tax breaks instead of losses. These are very smart criminals exploiting every aspect of medical care. Even their business model has been sued and won by the MA Attorney General for their business model. Aspen is a holding company or contract/franchise company. Each dentist is a stand alone corp. You will never sue Aspen. You have to go after the dentists who are supported by the huge legal dept of Aspen which they need for obvious reasons. They are a criminal corporation and they are very good at what they do.
