She insisted that IV sedation is the way to go and scheduled my surgery anyhow. Then I saw the treatment plan and understood why. The procedure itself (Surgical Root Recovery) is only $302 but the IV sedation is $1218. Is this even legal? She just put her bottom line above my wellbeing. I spoke with my doctor and he said I shouldn't go through with the surgery given my previous experience. I canceled the surgery for which I got charged 100$. It's not even about the money, I would pay double what they charged me if I knew the doctor had my wellbeing in mind and not their bottom line. Long story short don't go here unless you're ok with being treated like money bags.

I found out that Dr. Perkins is also an expert in Implant Dentistry. Having a front tooth missing is quite traumatic, but Dr. Perkins and his staff were wonderful in getting my smile back to normal. Someone called at 8:25am but left no message. I was unable to speak w insurance gal but got calls from Cummings assistant. They did not find out insurance details and only informed me day of surgery (though they tried to get me in the next day for surgery without even bothering to check insurance ie out of network benefits which I do have) that I would pay in full. Finally talked to Dottie - Zammit's assistant, found out Zammit did not specialize in the work I needed done anyway. Poorly run office - too eager to grab the money - no concern for checking my insurance situation - I was diverted to Cummings without knowledge it would was a different business at the same suite - total frustration dealing with them in regards to establishing what insurance would cover. I sent a text and called the main office number and left a voicemail. Monday morning, almost 48 hours after surgery someone teplied to my text I left on the main number. she asked if we still needed assistance. are you serious??? why would I be calling and texting if we didn't need assistance. funny thing, I checked the CVS app again and the order for antibiotic capsules have been received. almost 48 hours later!
