The Dentist that my wife and I have been using for several years have decided to not honor our insurance any longer. So we have been looking for a dental service that does dental and dentures. It's not an easy search. The dentist that I researched had bad reviews or too few reviews to be reliable. The dentist I found that had good reviews didn't accept our insurance. Things got desperate when my wife broke her dentures. We happened to be in Owasso when this happened. The first place I came across was Aspen Dental. We stopped and walked in without an appointment. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We explained The situation with the broken dentures. She took them to the lab tech. Who said they can be repaired that same day. The sad part of this story is they do not accept our insurance. I left the dentures for repairs and left to wait for Aspen to call Informing me that the dentures were ready. I expected them to take a couple of hours to make the repairs. However I got the call in about thirty minutes. The denture repairs were great. I can't say anything about their dental work. All I can say is our experience with dentures repairs without an appointment was five star. read more

If I could give a 0 I would. Came to get a crown fixed that was originally placed on by this location and sent to an endodontist to do a root canal. After going to the endodontist for a root canal I was supposed to be scheduled for a new crown to be put on. When I called they had no idea what I was talking about, and the lady on the phone was very rude and attempted to take the conversation off of fixing the issue and to make a personal dig stating if I "did what was supposed to" I "wouldn't be in this situation". The endodontist called Aspen Dental during my appointment and had gotten everything situated and said they were waiting on me to call, and this is what I was encountered with when I did call. This isn't my first issue with Aspen Dental as a whole. Never giving them a dime again! read more

Definitely wouldn't recommend these people. I told them multiple times I didn't want to exceed what my insurance covered, the reassured me I was okay. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I get a bill in the mail for $1,100. Ruined my finances for at least the next few months. As far as my opinion on these people goes, I think they're dishonest liars. I don't like being lied to, but I REALLY don't like my money being messed with. Also, come to find out, they tell EVERY new patient what they told me when they come in. Read multiple reviews of them saying the same thing to other people that they told me. I cancelled all future appointments and I WILL NOT be doing business with these people ever again. I suggest you do the same and find someone else who won't lie to you and spend your money on a dentist who doesn't view you as a dollar sign at your expense. read more

My first visit was not pleasant, and after receiving a second opinion, I've been advised that this office was incorrect in their assessment. They greatly exaggerated their assessment for me to have additional procedures which were going to require multiple appointments, numbing my gums and was going to be $2k without insurance or over $500 with insurance out of pocket. I did not feel confident in how the appointment went and had never been told this by my previous dentist, so I transferred my x-rays to a different dental office and am so thankful I did. They are a large corporation with ulterior motives, at their customer's financial expense. The office itself was dirty, and I had to wait 30 minutes after arriving before being seen even with an appointment. When taking X-rays they put the pieces that go inside of the mouth directly on the table before being used which grossed me out. The hygienist looked at my teeth and said that I had periodontal with multiple 5' pockets on both sides of my mouth and needed perio cleanings and that my x-rays showed bone loss. The office manager pulled me into his office and showed me what my dental insurance would cover, and I had to pre-pay over $500 out of pocket to even book the future appointments for the perio cleanings. I called another dental office and had the x-rays transferred, which was a process to have Aspen do and I received pushback from the front office about it. The second dental office I went to looked at the x-rays and had both a hygienist and dentist look at my mouth, and they advised that I do not have periodontal. I have some gingivitis and don't have any 5' pockets and I just need the normal teeth cleanings covered by insurance. I will never go to Aspen again after this experience. read more

The staff here is amazing. There's a new Indian woman doctor and she's very friendly. The staff here is all woman and very nice. It was a great visit. Had a tooth pulled out for around 240ish without Insurance and couldn't feel a thing . My husband made an appointment online. It was cancelled due to a plumbing issue. Second appointment was cancelled 30 minutes before he was supposed to be there due to an emergency. He then went online to reschedule and the office called and cancelled his appointment saying he had no showed to his past appointments. He has the voicemails proving their office had cancelled each time. The person that called him was very rude and not willing to help him. read more

I scheduled an appointment as a first time patient for both a consultation & a cleaning over the phone while returning to Oklahoma. Before this review gets negative, I do want to emphasize that the call center worker was extremely professional, polite, & efficient at her job. The day of my appointment, I completed my patient paperwork in advance & showed up at 9:45 AM (15 minutes in advance) as instructed. I informed the front counter that I was a new patient here for a consultation & cleaning. My appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM. I waited until 10:30, when another customer came into the office. This man was complaining to the office manager about how he did not receive a full cleaning at another Aspen Dental location in Tulsa, & would not pay for that appointment. As a result, the office manager moved his appointment up & took him back immediately. At 10:30 AM, I approached counter, stating that while I understand their intent to provide this other customer expedited service to repay for his poor experience, I had been waiting for nearly an hour (35 minutes past when my appointment was supposed to occur), & was very displeased with their slow service & lack of communication. As a result, they took me back immediately. Following my x-rays, gum inspection, & consultation with the dentist, they implied that my appointment was over. I told them it was not over, as no cleaning had occurred. At this point, the nurse did not reply, but instead called this same office manager. I refused to let the office manager smooth over the situation, as she continued to make excuses rather than apologize or provide a solution. I asked when the earliest possible cleaning could be scheduled (Tuesday the following week). I voiced my displeasure but requested they go ahead & schedule so that I could guarantee I would have a cleaning in the near future. The office manager actually tried to dissuade me from scheduling this. Unbelievable. Later this same day, I was able to schedule an appointment with a local, highly-rated dentist for Monday (day before the Aspen Tuesday appointment). I called Aspen back to cancel my Tuesday appointment. They tried to prevent me from canceling & suggested I move the appointment instead. I refused, emphasizing I intended to cancel. When asked why, I told them I had managed to schedule an earlier cleaning with a local dentist who is not only highly respected but actually values people. They did not know how to respond to this, replying only with "um's" & more excuses. TLDR: Aspen dental is an oversized chain that does not value their customers. Their staff take no personal accountability & will waste your time. In essence, it is an insurance payment racquet. Patron local businesses instead of this mob of looters. read more

Still one star. It had been nearly one year and Aspen still has not properly handled my case! Finally in November 2017 (yes, 7 months after services rendered) they actually billed my insurance. I was also told my remainder would be written off due to my old plan being a PPO. However, the regional manager has not done this so I all of a sudden got another bill. The "patient satisfaction team" has insanely limited hours and no one has been able to resolve this issue. read more

I went for my first appointment earlier this year, and I was very unhappy with the staff. They laughed at my teeth that needed a deep clean. I felt very embarrassed, but it turned into shock when I was told that my cleaning would cost upwards of $3000.00. Big corporations like Aspen are greedy and unreliable. read more

I would have said great things about them 6 months ago, however that has changed because the staff scheduled my appointment months ago only to change the time A WEEK before my appointment without my knowledge. I had to book at the Aspen dental in owasso for a last second opportunity to get work done before my insurance lapsed. Their attentiveness to 1 work with my situation and 2 fit me into an already full schedule was amazing. They said that the previous dentist had retired so things were a little rocky and smoothing our. but I was very impressed by every member of the staff I came across from the office staff to the dental hygienist to the dentist to the office manager. I've always been warned if aspen dental, but this office has changed my opinion. read more

my son went in for his first filling--the dentist was less than patient, finally told me to get out of the room and my son said that the dentist yelled at him...my son is used to a pediatric dentist and definitely not a rude, pushy dentist who was there for his first week. I don't know what this dentist did but my son's face was swollen and sore for 5 days--for a small filling?? I have had fillings and NEVER had experienced such a reaction. Then, when I went to pay, I had to pay cash because I was the victim of fraud. The office could not give me change back and owes me money back. Avoid. Both my wife and myself were uncomfortable. The staff was rude and trying to force upselling. I deffinitely would not take our kids there. We have had wonderful service with My Dentist in Claremore, and Dental Depot in Broken Arrow and hoping we could find a place more local to Owasso with the service and professionalism we were familiar with elsewhere. read more

Completely overcharged for the dentures themselves, which were TERRIBLY MADE, charged over $600 for a teeth cleaning that was never preformed, waited over an hour after my appt time,EVERYTIME, thats if they didnt call me to cancel , as I had already taken off work and was on my way. I hate going to the dentist for anything; however the nurses and doctors here are great. They all have and use excellent bedside manners. They are very gentle. Buddy (the guy in the bac that actually makes the dentures)is an artist; he does superior work. I did not need full dentures but I did need some and the fit is perfect. Would recommend them to anyone for general dentistry, oral surgery, dentures etc. read more

I went to Aspen Dental in Owasso with several teeth hurting. They said I needed fillings and did the procedure on 3 teeth. I returned a week later for cleaning and the same area still HURT... was told "it will get better"... 2 months later , went back because IT HADN'T ! They did more Xrays to discover 2 of the fillings THEY DID, were too small and had migrated into the NERVE of the teeth and that I would now need 2 ROOT CANALS to remedy the situation. Then the made no attempt to get to me in a hurry, since I was in MAJOR PAIN and it WAS their FAULT. Stay away, stay far away ! read more

I went to Aspen to get a replacement set of dentures. I was very excited to get new teeth as I have not had bottom teeth for several years. After the initial impressions were taken it took about a week to get my dentures due to having to special order the shade of white I wanted. After getting the dentures the bottom plate did not fit well and was wearing holes into my bottom jaw gum tissue. I was told not to wear the bottom plate for two days, then return for another trim and fitting. After I arrived for that appointment I was lectured by a dental technician on how to wear and insert the denture. She tried unsuccessfully to insert the denture and decided they needed to be trimmed, which I told her before we started. At that point I was accused of being uncooperative and it went downhill from there. Therefore I decided to give the dentures back immediately for a full refund. I couldn't see paying that much to wind up with the same condition I had prior to going to Aspen. I fully recommend going elsewhere for dentures. I believe the staff is very new and not experienced at any level. DO NOT GO TO ASPEN FOR DENTURES. read more

Brenda the OM made sure that I got all the financial help I needed to get started right away. She even let me cry on her shoulder because she understood what a big step this process is. Chelsea the D.A makes sure that my checkups are amazing and my journey is as comfortable as possible. Taniyah the Lead D.A ensured that things were done right so that as I continue my journey I stay comfortable and continue to feel that they have my best interest at heart!! The face of the office Jemima always as a wonderful smile and positive attitude when I come in making me feel good about being there. Of course B. My husband had a dental emergency with a cracked tooth and bad infection. His appointment time was at 5 and due to traffic was running late. They advised him to get there no later than 5:10. He made it to the door at 5:11 and THEY TURNED HIM AWAY!!! I'm completely disgusted and appalled. Thankfully he got in today to another dentist that said he's lucky he didn't get blood poisoning.
