I was not told that they have a no show policy ,we were moving after 30 years..which resulted in 5 missed appointments.2 were because of their inability to communicate with the main office ..I got penalized for their screw ups!! then they refer me to their nine mile office were they said I wouldn't have to be a walk in everytime I come..and guess what! They said I had to be a walk in too..so I think I will take my business elsewhere ¡ GET IT TOGETHER BECAUSE I WAS PAYING OUT OF POCKET FOR MY TEETH. They were 30 min late calling me back for my appointment. My appointment was for a tooth cleaning. They did their x-rays and said I should let them remove my wisdom teeth that have not been any issue for me since they came in. I said no, I will keep my teeth, and they escorted me back to the lobby, ending my appointment. I said that I came in for a tooth cleaning. There's tartar that needs to be scraped with a metal pick and you can't do it at yourself. After another 30 minute wait, yo was seen by a hygienist who did a 4-5 minute blitz through my teeth. I wanted a cleaning, and after another hour and a half, I got the worst cleaning of my life and immediately searched for a new dentist. read more

I scheduled an appointment three weeks in advance for a cavity fill. They called me a few days before and asked if an hour later worked. The night before my appointment they called and asked to reschedule to a week and a half later. Now the night before THAT appointment, they ask if ANOTHER day can be rescheduled. I took time off each time for this and while I understand having to be flexible, this is extremely disrespectful to my time. read more

I stand by everything I stated in my first review of Aspen Dental Offices @ Airport & Nine Mile Roads! Today was entirely, a very short visit. My point of contact, was Brandon. This gentleman was very welcoming to me. And, if you remember, the first review, these people,probably, don't appreciate me @ all! Most businesses don't like honesty from their customers, if it doesn't present the business in a positive light! Anyway, Brandon was absolutely, very pleasant & very welcoming! And, whomever the gentleman, who had the Job of repairing a bottom denture, made @ the Airport office, did Great work ! I guess, we will take things slow as we go through this new phase of care. i had an appointment for 10:30am for some partial so the exam was free but waited for almost 2 hour that's after the X-ray no one even check up on me and to even see if I was ok or to tell me that the doctor had emergency surgery there 3 doctors there and no one could help me or tell me to reschedule. I would NOT recommended aspen dental to my family and friends and to think people saying there the best in town Hell No and the employees walked by me like I didn't exist.. just think how excited I was to have made an appointment but I very disappointed how they handle me there I don't even know you guys can make it right. read more

I made an appointment a few weeks in advance as a new patient. As the appointment go closer, I received an email from them asking to confirm the appointment. I clicked on the link and confirmed it. A couple days before the appointment I received a text message asking to confirm, and again, I clicked the link and confirmed. The day before the appointment, I received a call/voicemail asking me to confirm. I called back and used their automated phone system to confirm. Later that day, I got another call/voicemail asking to confirm, but I didn't look at the message until after hours because I was working. I called the next morning (the day of the appointment) and spoke directly with someone just to make sure everything was set with my appointment and they told me it was cancelled because they didn't speak with me directly. I had already taken time off work. If they needed to speak directly with me, then email confirmation, text confirmation and the automated phone option should not be options. Or, they should have specified that in the voicemail. Waste of my time. I found another dentist. read more

Let there be no mistake, this location is putting their bottom line and profits above their patients oral health treatment and recommendations. After being under Aspens care (another facility) previously, I was shocked that I was advised I had 4 cavities requiring my immediate attention according to the doctor and hygienist. I instantly knew something was askew because I just got out of orthodontics. I've had more than a few exams and dentists/orthodontic appointments lately and have always been on my A-Game with my at home care during the 2 years I was in treatment. Water pick, floss and brush after every meal, regardless of where or when. When Aspen additionally showed me a very large image of a tooth needing a crown I was more suspect than ever that they were aggressively selling services that had nothing to do with my needs as a patient. Over the next several weeks I got serval independent assessments which all showed that this location including their General Manager, Dentist and Hygienist had suggested a treatment in the $2,000 range that was needed "now" when I have 2 (not 4) minor cavities that in no way are immediate need items. Additionally there has conclusively been no crown identified that Is needed. The treatment I have been prescribed is literally $400 and that is if I want to aggressively treat the 2 (not 4 cavities) and remember, no crown. Basically this office was about to do work on my mouth that was completely unnecessary and I feel the only reason I caught their negligence is because I have several active dentists and Orthodontists at the time. I have attached photos of the treatment Aspen and another service provider have made so you can see that Aspen over quoted me by nearly $1,500 inflating tenor quote by 400%. This is SCARY, and I have officially decided to never use big box corporate dental or medical facilities ever again based on my experience. The Store manager hung up on me, Regional Manager Tim has been unresponsive. The only person whose ever made an effort sent me a dear John email and suggested I call her. This was weeks ago prior to my posting of this review. Since then I have made multiple attempts to remedy through their Chanel's but am likely going to be pursuing criminal negligence in treatment based on how this location is clearly running as a profit center as opposed to a dental treatment facility. Additionally, it is to be noted the exam and cleaning that I paid for was not done to the specs of my orthodontist who provided a WRITTEN prescription for EXACTLY what was to be done at my appointment with Aspen. Despite the fact that I not only verbally told both the front desk check in person and the huge toys who later collected me for treatment I also presented the written prescription to both of these staff members and verbally reminded them it was imperative a CURRENT perio chart be taken per the orders of my Orthodontist (which was also on paper, in their hands) At the completion of my treatment while sitting with the manager who felt like she was trying to jam me into a financial agreement for nearly 2k of unnecessary treatment, I realized that I did not remember the staff reading perio charting numbers. Since I've been in orthodontics I kinda know what to expect and knew something was off. The manager completely glossed over their neglect in failing to do what I had told them verbally, and they hat my orthodontist has VERY clearly indicated needed to be done. Please chose a local dentist who has a family practice. you may pay a bit more but I can assure you that the expenses and time that I've spent trying to either confirm my suspicions or identify if the $2000 in work they improperly quoted truly needed to be done - has FAR outweighed the additional expense of a private practice dentist who is looking to build trust, not sell you and person dental procedures that are unnecessary in the interest of boosting their sales and profitability. Aspen- you know where I am. You have my number. Your auto response or dear John will not be well received by anyone seeking guidance on your practice. I went to Aspen on nine mile after moving to town last year. I've been to the dentist every 6 months for the last 30 years. My dental health was very good but Aspen said I had an issue with my gums needing special cleaning and treatment. Also, I had to buy special toothpaste and mouthwash that had to be purchased from them. Additionally, I would have to come back every 4 months rather than every 6 months. I was a bit suspicious and then saw a report from someone on Next Door that had the exact same experience. Based on that I went to a different dental practice and what do you know, no problems. Very routine exam and cleaning. So, you can draw your own conclusion but I won't be back to Aspen. read more

Do not go here AT ALL! One star is being generous! I waited for over 40 min in a patient room for the Dentist to finally appear for 10 seconds and then asked the hygienist TO SET THE ROOM UP for an exam. WHAT??!! Then he leaves - I wait an additional 30 MINUTES for him to return tap on my tooth for a pain exam and then refer me to a specialist because he tells me "they are specialist - do you understand?" Double WHAT?! Maybe he didn't understand that I am a professional, maybe the didn't have the skill set, patience, experience, nor the TIME to deal with my issue. This practice will undoubtedly bill my insurance and receive fat check. This is practice is unprofessional and I would not trust my mouth nor my pocket with this Aspen Dental! DO NOT GO HERE! I went to Aspen on Nine Mile Road after recently moving to town. I went in to have a "dead" tooth extracted in which most of the filling had come out and the tooth had cracked. They told me that I first needed to have gum treatment which would cost me $1100 upfront. Mind you, I have all 32 of my teeth, with no other problems, no cavities, but the dentist seemed more focused on removing 4 of my wisdom teeth which were fine. Fast forward 4 months and I developed a tooth abscess with a fever, the right side of my face swollen from my eyebrows down to my chin and the PAIN was like nothing I have ever in my life experienced, in the tooth that I went in to have extracted. I call the office to set up an appointment to have the tooth extracted, no one answered, left a message and someone called me back and told me that they were sending a prescription to a pharmacy near my house. I called the office again to speak with the Dentist, no one answered, left a message for someone to call me back about the extraction. I HAVE NOT to this day heard anything from ANYONE about an appointment, whether the antibiotics worked or ANYTHING! Aspen Dental paints a very bleak picture and non- caring attitude when it comes to patient care. My advise is to stay clear of this place, because they do not know what they are doing and they do not care about YOU!!! Sadly, I DON"T KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS! read more

I scheduled a basic appointment (dental checkup) in October for December because that was how far out they were booked. When I arrived, I was told that my appointment had been cancelled because of "no confirmation" EVEN THOUGH I spoke to an employee two days prior and we discussed the appointment and cost and directions (thus confirming the appointment). They asked me if I would like to reschedule. I did not and I will not attempt Aspen again. This was a huge disappointment and waste of time; don't waste your time here. read more

I am so angry with this place . They had me in tears now for the last time. I have been a patient of theirs since last year. I have been nothing but a bank roll to this place. All of my issues I have been bringing to the table they never addressed. I paid for what I was told be be services in full . Then when I ask what is going on with them serves a month or a few months depending on the service that I only paid for a part of the services and if I want to have this service I need to pay more money. I refuse to be treated as a bank roll and. Not a a patient in need of care. This place tells you that your paying for one thing and then long story short you paid only for a portion of what this thing was told you was paying for. If I could give this clinic zero stars, I would. I had a filling done by the dentist Swati Gandluri two weeks ago. Yesterday as I was brushing my teeth, the filling fell out. I called the office to have the issue addressed on an emergency basis, as I was in pain, and bleeding. The receptionist was enraged that I needed an emergency appointment. She screamed at me over the phone, talked over me, and refused to listen to what I needed to tell her. She then put me on the phone with the office manager who did listen, and told me to come in straight away. When I arrived in the office, the dentist refused to take responsibility for the botched procedure. She stated that the botched filling "didn't look like her style". I was stunned that she refused to take responsibility for it. She told me that she had not touched the tooth, and showed me evidence in my chart. I realized that the clinic mis-documented the work they had done. After the dentists refusal to fix what she had done, the dental assistant grabbed my head, and forced her fingers into my mouth so that she could point to my tooth then proceeded to yell at me and tell me I was wrong. I saw no other choice but to leave the office at that point. As I walked down the hallway the dental assistant taunted me and laughed at me being in pain with the x-ray tech. In addition to this review, I have also filed a formal complaint against the dentist with the Florida board of dentistry. The behavior of the staff in this office is shocking and unacceptable. There are plenty of great dentists in this area, stay away from this office, and take your family and your business to a professional that will treat you with respect. read more
